[2022.1.11] 말씀읽기 - 창세기 (Genesis) 18:1-15, 시편 (Psalms) 11
18:1-15
1 여호와께서 마므레의 상수리나무들이 있는 곳에서 아브라함에게 나타나시니라 날이 뜨거울 때에 그가 장막 문에 앉아 있다가
1 The LORD appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance to his tent in the heat of the day.
2 눈을 들어 본즉 사람 셋이 맞은편에 서 있는지라 그가 그들을 보자 곧 장막 문에서 달려나가 영접하며 몸을 땅에 굽혀
2 Abraham looked up and saw three men standing nearby. When he saw them, he hurried from the entrance of his tent to meet them and bowed low to the ground.
3 이르되 내 주여 내가 주께 은혜를 입었사오면 원하건대 종을 떠나 지나가지 마시옵고
3 He said, "If I have found favor in your eyes, my lord, do not pass your servant by.
4 물을 조금 가져오게 하사 당신들의 발을 씻으시고 나무 아래에서 쉬소서
4 Let a little water be brought, and then you may all wash your feet and rest under this tree.
5 내가 떡을 조금 가져오리니 당신들의 마음을 상쾌하게 하신 후에 지나가소서 당신들이 종에게 오셨음이니이다 그들이 이르되 네 말대로 그리하라
5 Let me get you something to eat, so you can be refreshed and then go on your way--now that you have come to your servant." "Very well," they answered, "do as you say."
6 아브라함이 급히 장막으로 가서 사라에게 이르되 속히 고운 가루 세 스아를 가져다가 반죽하여 떡을 만들라 하고
6 So Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah. "Quick," he said, "get three seahs of fine flour and knead it and bake some bread."
7 아브라함이 또 가축 떼 있는 곳으로 달려가서 기름지고 좋은 송아지를 잡아 하인에게 주니 그가 급히 요리한지라
7 Then he ran to the herd and selected a choice, tender calf and gave it to a servant, who hurried to prepare it.
8 아브라함이 엉긴 젖과 우유와 하인이 요리한 송아지를 가져다가 그들 앞에 차려 놓고 나무 아래에 모셔 서매 그들이 먹으니라
8 He then brought some curds and milk and the calf that had been prepared, and set these before them. While they ate, he stood near them under a tree.
9 그들이 아브라함에게 이르되 네 아내 사라가 어디 있느냐 대답하되 장막에 있나이다
9 Where is your wife Sarah? they asked him. "There, in the tent," he said.
10 그가 이르시되 내년 이맘때 내가 반드시 네게로 돌아오리니 네 아내 사라에게 아들이 있으리라 하시니 사라가 그 뒤 장막 문에서 들었더라
10 Then the LORD said, "I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife will have a son." Now Sarah was listening at the entrance to the tent, which was behind him.
11 아브라함과 사라는 나이가 많아 늙었고 사라에게는 여성의 생리가 끊어졌는지라
11 Abraham and Sarah were already old and well advanced in years, and Sarah was past the age of childbearing.
12 사라가 속으로 웃고 이르되 내가 노쇠하였고 내 주인도 늙었으니 내게 무슨 즐거움이 있으리요
12 So Sarah laughed to herself as she thought, "After I am worn out and my master is old, will I now have this pleasure?"
13 여호와께서 아브라함에게 이르시되 사라가 왜 웃으며 이르기를 내가 늙었거늘 어떻게 아들을 낳으리요 하느냐
13 Then the LORD said to Abraham, "Why did Sarah laugh and say, `Will I really have a child, now that I am old?`
14 여호와께 능하지 못한 일이 있겠느냐 기한이 이를 때에 내가 네게로 돌아오리니 사라에게 아들이 있으리라
14 Is anything too hard for the LORD ? I will return to you at the appointed time next year and Sarah will have a son."
15 사라가 두려워서 부인하여 이르되 내가 웃지 아니하였나이다 이르시되 아니라 네가 웃었느니라
15 Sarah was afraid, so she lied and said, "I did not laugh." But he said, "Yes, you did laugh."
시편 (Psalms)
11장
1 내가 여호와께 피하였거늘 너희가 내 영혼에게 새 같이 네 산으로 도망하라 함은 어찌함인가
1 In the LORD I take refuge. How then can you say to me: "Flee like a bird to your mountain.
2 악인이 활을 당기고 화살을 시위에 먹임이여 마음이 바른 자를 어두운 데서 쏘려 하는도다
2 For look, the wicked bend their bows; they set their arrows against the strings to shoot from the shadows at the upright in heart.
3 터가 무너지면 의인이 무엇을 하랴
3 When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do ?"
4 여호와께서는 그의 성전에 계시고 여호와의 보좌는 하늘에 있음이여 그의 눈이 인생을 통촉하시고 그의 안목이 그들을 감찰하시도다
4 The LORD is in his holy temple; the LORD is on his heavenly throne. He observes the sons of men; his eyes examine them.
5 여호와는 의인을 감찰하시고 악인과 폭력을 좋아하는 자를 마음에 미워하시도다
5 The LORD examines the righteous, but the wicked and those who love violence his soul hates.
6 악인에게 그물을 던지시리니 불과 유황과 태우는 바람이 그들의 잔의 소득이 되리로다
6 On the wicked he will rain fiery coals and burning sulfur; a scorching wind will be their lot.
7 여호와는 의로우사 의로운 일을 좋아하시나니 정직한 자는 그의 얼굴을 뵈오리로다
