5 드고아의 아버지 아스훌의 두 아내는 헬라와 나아라라
5 Ashhur, the father of Tekoa, had two wives, Helah and Naarah;
6 나아라는 그에게 아훗삼과 헤벨과 데므니와 하아하스다리를 낳아 주었으니 이는 나아라의 소생이요
6 Naarah bore him Ahuzzam, Hepher, Temeni, and Haahashtari. These were the sons of Naarah.
7 헬라의 아들들은 세렛과 이소할과 에드난이며
7 The sons of Helah: Zereth, Izhar, and Ethnan.
8 고스는 아눕과 소베바와 하룸의 아들 아하헬 종족들을 낳았으며
8 Koz fathered Anub, Zobebah, and the clans of Aharhel, the son of Harum.
9 야베스는 그의 형제보다 귀중한 자라 그의 어머니가 이름하여 이르되 야베스라 하였으니 이는 내가 수고로이 낳았다 함이었더라
9 Jabez wasmore honorable than his brothers; and his mother called his name Jabez, saying,Because I bore him in pain.
10 야베스가 이스라엘 하나님께 아뢰어 이르되 주께서 내게 복을 주시려거든 나의 지역을 넓히시고 주의 손으로 나를 도우사 나로 환난을 벗어나 내게 근심이 없게 하옵소서 하였더니 하나님이 그가 구하는 것을 허락하셨더라
10 Jabez called upon the God of Israel, saying,Oh that you would bless me and enlarge my border, and that your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from harmso that it might not bring me pain!And God granted what he asked.
11 수하의 형 글룹이 므힐을 낳았으니 므힐은 에스돈의 아버지요
11 Chelub, the brother of Shuhah, fathered Mehir, who fathered Eshton.
12 에스돈은 베드라바와 바세아와 이르나하스의 아버지 드힌나를 낳았으니 이는 다 레가 사람이며
12 Eshton fathered Beth-rapha, Paseah, and Tehinnah, the father of Ir-nahash. These are the men of Recah.
13 그나스의 아들들은 옷니엘과 스라야요 옷니엘의 아들은 하닷이며
13 The sons ofKenaz:Othniel and Seraiah; and the sons of Othniel: Hathath and Meonothai.
14 므오노대는 오브라를 낳고 스라야는 요압을 낳았으니 요압은 게하라심의 조상이라 그들은 공장이었더라
14 Meonothai fathered Ophrah; and Seraiah fathered Joab, the father of Ge-harashim,so-called because they were craftsmen.
15 여분네의 아들 갈렙의 자손은 이루와 엘라와 나암과 엘라의 자손과 그나스요
15 The sons ofCaleb the son of Jephunneh: Iru, Elah, and Naam; and the sonof Elah: Kenaz.
16 여할렐렐의 아들은 십과 시바와 디리아와 아사렐이요
16 The sons of Jehallelel: Ziph, Ziphah, Tiria, and Asarel.
17 에스라의 아들들은 예델과 메렛과 에벨과 얄론이며 메렛은 미리암과 삼매와 에스드모아의 조상 이스바를 낳았으니
17 The sons of Ezrah: Jether, Mered, Epher, and Jalon. These are the sons of Bithiah, the daughter of Pharaoh, whom Mered married;and she conceived and boreMiriam, Shammai, and Ishbah, the father of Eshtemoa.
18 이는 메렛이 아내로 맞은 바로의 딸 비디아의 아들들이며 또 그의 아내 여후디야는 그돌의 조상 예렛과 소고의 조상 헤벨과 사노아의 조상 여구디엘을 낳았으며
18 And his Judahite wife boreJered the father of Gedor, Heber the father of Soco, and Jekuthiel the father of Zanoah.
19 나함의 누이인 호디야의 아내의 아들들은 가미 사람 그일라의 아버지와 마아가 사람 에스드모아며
19 The sons of the wife of Hodiah, the sister of Naham, were the fathers of Keilah the Garmite and Eshtemoa the Maacathite.
20 시몬의 아들들은 암논과 린나와 벤하난과 딜론이요 이시의 아들들은 소헷과 벤소헷이더라
20 The sons of Shimon: Amnon, Rinnah, Ben-hanan, and Tilon. The sons of Ishi: Zoheth and Ben-zoheth.
21 유다의 아들 셀라의 자손은 레가의 아버지 에르와 마레사의 아버지 라아다와 세마포 짜는 자의 집 곧 아스베야의 집 종족과
21 The sons ofShelah the son of Judah: Er the father of Lecah, Laadah the father of Mareshah, and the clans of the house of linen workers at Beth-ashbea;
22 또 요김과 고세바 사람들과 요아스와 모압을 다스리던 사랍과 야수비네헴이니 이는 다 옛 기록에 의존한 것이라
22 and Jokim, and the men of Cozeba, and Joash, and Saraph, who ruled in Moab and returned to Lehem(now the recordsare ancient).
23 이 모든 사람은 토기장이가 되어 수풀과 산울 가운데에 거주하는 자로서 거기서 왕과 함께 거주하면서 왕의 일을 하였더라
23 These were the potters who were inhabitants of Netaim and Gederah. They lived there in the king's service.
24 시므온의 아들들은 느무엘과 야민과 야립과 세라와 사울이요
24 The sons of Simeon: Nemuel, Jamin, Jarib, Zerah, Shaul;
25 사울의 아들은 살룸이요 그의 아들은 밉삼이요 그의 아들은 미스마요
25 Shallum was his son, Mibsam his son, Mishma his son.
26 미스마의 아들은 함무엘이요 그의 아들은 삭굴이요 그의 아들은 시므이라
26 The sons of Mishma: Hammuel his son, Zaccur his son, Shimei his son.
27 시므이에게는 아들 열여섯과 딸 여섯이 있으나 그의 형제에게는 자녀가 몇이 못되니 그들의 온 종족이 유다 자손처럼 번성하지 못하였더라
27 Shimei had sixteen sons and six daughters; but his brothers did not have many children,nor did all their clan multiplylike the men of Judah.
28 시므온 자손이 거주한 곳은 브엘세바와 몰라다와 하살수알과
28 They lived in Beersheba, Moladah, Hazar-shual,
29 빌하와 에셈과 돌랏과
29 Bilhah, Ezem,Tolad,
30 브두엘과 호르마와 시글락과
30 Bethuel, Hormah, Ziklag,
31 벧말가봇과 하살수심과 벧비리와 사아라임이니 다윗 왕 때까지 이 모든 성읍이 그들에게 속하였으며
31 Beth-marcaboth,Hazar-susim,Beth-biri, andShaaraim. These were their cities until David reigned.
32 그들이 사는 곳은 에담과 아인과 림몬과 도겐과 아산 다섯 성읍이요
32 And their villages were Etam, Ain, Rimmon, Tochen, and Ashan, five cities,
33 또 모든 성읍 주위에 살던 주민들의 경계가 바알까지 다다랐으니 시므온 자손의 거주지가 이러하고 각기 계보가 있더라
33 along with all their villages that were around these cities as far asBaal. These were their settlements, and they kept a genealogical record.사도행전
25장
1 베스도가 부임한 지 삼 일 후에 가이사랴에서 예루살렘으로 올라가니
1 Now three days after Festus had arrived inthe province, he went up to Jerusalem from Caesarea.
2 대제사장들과 유대인 중 높은 사람들이 바울을 고소할새
2 And the chief priests and the principal men of the Jewslaid out their case against Paul, and they urged him,
3 베스도의 호의로 바울을 예루살렘으로 옮기기를 청하니 이는 길에 매복하였다가 그를 죽이고자 함이더라
3 asking as a favor against Paulthat he summon him to Jerusalem&emdash;becausethey were planning an ambush to kill him on the way.
4 베스도가 대답하여 바울이 가이사랴에 구류된 것과 자기도 멀지 않아 떠나갈 것을 말하고
4 Festus replied that Paul was being kept at Caesarea and that he himself intended to go there shortly.
5 또 이르되 너희 중 유력한 자들은 나와 함께 내려가서 그 사람에게 만일 옳지 아니한 일이 있거든 고발하라 하니라
5 So,said he,let the men of authority among you go down with me, and if there is anything wrong about the man, let them bring charges against him.
6 베스도가 그들 가운데서 팔 일 혹은 십 일을 지낸 후 가이사랴로 내려가서 이튿날 재판 자리에 앉고 바울을 데려오라 명하니
6 After he stayed among them not more than eight or ten days, he went down to Caesarea. And the next day he took his seat onthe tribunal and ordered Paul to be brought.
7 그가 나오매 예루살렘에서 내려온 유대인들이 둘러서서 여러 가지 중대한 사건으로 고발하되 능히 증거를 대지 못한지라
7 When he had arrived, the Jews who had come down from Jerusalem stood around him, bringing many and serious charges against himthat they could not prove.
8 바울이 변명하여 이르되 유대인의 율법이나 성전이나 가이사에게나 내가 도무지 죄를 범하지 아니하였노라 하니
8 Paul argued in his defense,Neitheragainstthe law of the Jews, nor against the temple, noragainst Caesar have I committed any offense.
9 베스도가 유대인의 마음을 얻고자 하여 바울더러 묻되 네가 예루살렘에 올라가서 이 사건에 대하여 내 앞에서 심문을 받으려느냐
9 But Festus,wishing to do the Jews a favor, said to Paul,Do you wish to go up to Jerusalem and there be tried on these charges before me?
10 바울이 이르되 내가 가이사의 재판 자리 앞에 섰으니 마땅히 거기서 심문을 받을 것이라 당신도 잘 아시는 바와 같이 내가 유대인들에게 불의를 행한 일이 없나이다
10 But Paul said,I am standing before Caesar'stribunal, where I ought to be tried. To the Jews I have done no wrong, as you yourself know very well.
11 만일 내가 불의를 행하여 무슨 죽을 죄를 지었으면 죽기를 사양하지 아니할 것이나 만일 이 사람들이 나를 고발하는 것이 다 사실이 아니면 아무도 나를 그들에게 내줄 수 없나이다 내가 가이사께 상소하노라 한대
11 If then I am a wrongdoer and have committed anything for which I deserve to die, I do not seek to escape death. But if there is nothing to their charges against me, no one can give me up to them.I appeal to Caesar.
12 베스도가 배석자들과 상의하고 이르되 네가 가이사에게 상소하였으니 가이사에게 갈 것이라 하니라
12 Then Festus, when he had conferred with his council, answered,To Caesar you have appealed; to Caesar you shall go.
