5장
18 르우벤 자손과 갓 사람과 므낫세 반 지파에서 나가 싸울 만한 용사 곧 능히 방패와 칼을 들며 활을 당겨 싸움에 익숙한 자는 사만 사천칠백육십 명이라
18 The Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh had valiant men who carried shield and sword, and drew the bow,expert in war, 44,760, able to go to war.
19 그들이 하갈 사람과 여두르와 나비스와 노답과 싸우는 중에
19 They waged war against theHagrites,Jetur, Naphish, and Nodab.
20 도우심을 입었으므로 하갈 사람과 그들과 함께 있는 자들이 다 그들의 손에 패하였으니 이는 그들이 싸울 때에 하나님께 의뢰하고 부르짖으므로 하나님이 그들에게 응답하셨음이라
20 And when they prevailedover them, the Hagrites and all who were with them were given into their hands,for they cried out to God in the battle, and he granted their urgent pleabecause they trusted in him.
21 그들이 대적의 짐승 곧 낙타 오만 마리와 양 이십오만 마리와 나귀 이천 마리를 빼앗으며 사람 십만 명을 사로잡았고
21 They carried off their livestock: 50,000 of their camels, 250,000 sheep, 2,000 donkeys, and 100,000 men alive.
22 죽임을 당한 자가 많았으니 이 싸움이 하나님께로 말미암았음이라 그들이 그들의 땅에 거주하여 사로잡힐 때까지 이르렀더라
22 For many fell, because the war was of God. And they livedin their place untilthe exile.
23 므낫세 반 지파 자손들이 그 땅에 거주하면서 그들이 번성하여 바산에서부터 바알헤르몬과 스닐과 헤르몬 산까지 다다랐으며
23 The members of the half-tribe of Manasseh lived in the land. They were very numerous from Bashan to Baal-hermon,Senir, and Mount Hermon.
24 그들의 족장은 에벨과 이시와 엘리엘과 아스리엘과 예레미야와 호다위야와 야디엘이며 다 용감하고 유명한 족장이었더라
24 These were the heads of their fathers' houses: Epher,Ishi, Eliel, Azriel, Jeremiah, Hodaviah, and Jahdiel, mighty warriors, famous men, heads of their fathers' houses.
25 그들이 그들의 조상들의 하나님께 범죄하여 하나님이 그들 앞에서 멸하신 그 땅 백성의 신들을 간음하듯 섬긴지라
25 But they broke faith with the God of their fathers, andwhoredafter the gods of the peoples of the land, whom God had destroyed before them.
26 그러므로 이스라엘 하나님이 앗수르 왕 불의 마음을 일으키시며 앗수르 왕 디글랏빌레셀의 마음을 일으키시매 곧 르우벤과 갓과 므낫세 반 지파를 사로잡아 할라와 하볼과 하라와 고산 강 가에 옮긴지라 그들이 오늘까지 거기에 있으니라
26 So the God of Israel stirred up the spirit ofPul king of Assyria, the spirit ofTiglath-pileser king of Assyria, and he took them into exile, namely, the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh, and brought themto Halah,Habor, Hara, andthe river Gozan, to this day.

1 레위의 아들들은 게르손과 그핫과 므라리요
1 The sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
2 그핫의 아들들은 아므람과 이스할과 헤브론과 웃시엘이요
2 The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
3 아므람의 자녀는 아론과 모세와 미리암이요 아론의 자녀는 나답과 아비후와 엘르아살과 이다말이며
3 The children of Amram: Aaron, Moses, and Miriam.The sons of Aaron: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
4 엘르아살은 비느하스를 낳고 비느하스는 아비수아를 낳고
4 Eleazar fatheredPhinehas, Phinehas fathered Abishua,
5 아비수아는 북기를 낳고 북기는 웃시를 낳고
5 Abishua fathered Bukki, Bukki fathered Uzzi,
6 웃시는 스라히야를 낳고 스라히야는 므라욧을 낳고
6 Uzzi fathered Zerahiah, Zerahiah fatheredMeraioth,
7 므라욧은 아마랴를 낳고 아마랴는 아히둡을 낳고
7 Meraioth fathered Amariah, Amariah fathered Ahitub,
8 아히둡은 사독을 낳고 사독은 아히마아스를 낳고
8 Ahitub fatheredZadok, Zadok fathered Ahimaaz,
9 아히마아스는 아사랴를 낳고 아사랴는 요하난을 낳고
9 Ahimaaz fathered Azariah, Azariah fathered Johanan,
10 요하난은 아사랴를 낳았으니 이 아사랴는 솔로몬이 예루살렘에 세운 성전에서 제사장의 직분을 행한 자이며
10 and Johanan fathered Azariah (it was he who served as priestin the house that Solomon built in Jerusalem).
11 아사랴는 아마랴를 낳고 아마랴는 아히둡을 낳고
11 Azariah fatheredAmariah, Amariah fathered Ahitub,
12 아히둡은 사독을 낳고 사독은 살룸을 낳고
12 Ahitub fathered Zadok, Zadok fatheredShallum,
13 살룸은 힐기야를 낳고 힐기야는 아사랴를 낳고
13 Shallum fatheredHilkiah, Hilkiah fathered Azariah,
14 아사랴는 스라야를 낳고 스라야는 여호사닥을 낳았으며
14 Azariah fatheredSeraiah, Seraiah fathered Jehozadak;
15 여호와께서 느부갓네살의 손으로 유다와 예루살렘 백성을 옮기실 때에 여호사닥도 가니라
15 andJehozadak went into exile when theLordsent Judah and Jerusalem into exileby the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.
16 레위의 아들들은 게르손과 그핫과 므라리이며
16 Thesons of Levi: Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.
17 게르손의 아들들의 이름은 이러하니 립니와 시므이요
17 And these are the names of the sons of Gershom:Libni and Shimei.
18 그핫의 아들들은 아므람과 이스할과 헤브론과 웃시엘이요
18 The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel.
19 므라리의 아들들은 말리와 무시라 그 조상에 따라 레위의 종족은 이러하니
19 The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the clans of the Levites according to their fathers.
20 게르손에게서 난 자는 곧 그의 아들 립니요 그의 아들은 야핫이요 그의 아들은 심마요
20 Of Gershom: Libni his son,Jahath his son, Zimmah his son,
21 그의 아들은 요아요 그의 아들은 잇도요 그의 아들은 세라요 그의 아들은 여아드래이며
21 Joah his son, Iddo his son, Zerah his son, Jeatherai his son.
22 그핫에게서 난 자는 곧 그 아들은 암미나답이요 그의 아들은 고라요 그의 아들은 앗실이요
22 The sons of Kohath: Amminadab his son, Korah his son, Assir his son,
23 그의 아들은 엘가나요 그의 아들은 에비아삽이요 그의 아들은 앗실이요
23 Elkanah his son, Ebiasaph his son, Assir his son,
24 그의 아들은 다핫이요 그의 아들은 우리엘이요 그의 아들은 웃시야요 그의 아들은 사울이라
24 Tahath his son, Uriel his son, Uzziah his son, and Shaul his son.
25 엘가나의 아들들은 아마새와 아히못이라
25 The sons of Elkanah: Amasai and Ahimoth,
26 엘가나로 말하면 그의 자손은 이러하니 그의 아들은 소배요 그의 아들은 나핫이요
26 Elkanah his son, Zophai his son, Nahath his son,
27 그의 아들은 엘리압이요 그의 아들은 여로함이요 그의 아들은 엘가나라
27 Eliab his son, Jeroham his son, Elkanah his son.
28 사무엘의 아들들은 맏아들 요엘이요 다음은 아비야라
28 The sons of Samuel: Joelhis firstborn, the second Abijah.
29 므라리에게서 난 자는 말리요 그의 아들은 립니요 그의 아들은 시므이요 그의 아들은 웃사요
29 The sons of Merari: Mahli, Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzzah his son,
30 그의 아들은 시므아요 그의 아들은 학기야요 그의 아들은 아사야더라
30 Shimea his son, Haggiah his son, and Asaiah his son.사도행전
26장
1 아그립바가 바울에게 이르되 너를 위하여 말하기를 네게 허락하노라 하니 이에 바울이 손을 들어 변명하되
1 SoAgrippa said to Paul,You have permission to speak for yourself.Then Paul stretched out his hand and made his defense:
2 아그립바 왕이여 유대인이 고발하는 모든 일을 오늘 당신 앞에서 변명하게 된 것을 다행히 여기나이다
2 I consider myself fortunate that it is before you, King Agrippa, I am going to make my defense todayagainst all the accusations of the Jews,
3 특히 당신이 유대인의 모든 풍속과 문제를 아심이니이다 그러므로 내 말을 너그러이 들으시기를 바라나이다
3 especially because you are familiar with all thecustoms andcontroversies of the Jews. Therefore I beg you to listen to me patiently.
4 내가 처음부터 내 민족과 더불어 예루살렘에서 젊었을 때 생활한 상황을 유대인이 다 아는 바라
4 My manner of life from my youth, spent from the beginning amongmy own nation and in Jerusalem, is known by all the Jews.
5 일찍부터 나를 알았으니 그들이 증언하려 하면 내가 우리 종교의 가장 엄한 파를 따라 바리새인의 생활을 하였다고 할 것이라
5 They have known for a long time, if they are willing to testify, thataccording to the strictestparty of ourreligion I have lived asa Pharisee.
6 이제도 여기 서서 심문 받는 것은 하나님이 우리 조상에게 약속하신 것을 바라는 까닭이니
6 And now I stand here on trial because of my hope inthe promise made by God to our fathers,
7 이 약속은 우리 열두 지파가 밤낮으로 간절히 하나님을 받들어 섬김으로 얻기를 바라는 바인데 아그립바 왕이여 이 소망으로 말미암아 내가 유대인들에게 고소를 당하는 것이니이다
7 to whichour twelve tribes hope toattain, as they earnestly worship night and day. And for this hopeI am accused by Jews, O king!
8 당신들은 하나님이 죽은 사람을 살리심을 어찌하여 못 믿을 것으로 여기나이까
8 Why is it thoughtincredible by any of you that God raises the dead?
9 나도 나사렛 예수의 이름을 대적하여 많은 일을 행하여야 될 줄 스스로 생각하고
9 I myself was convinced that I ought to do many things in opposing the name ofJesus of Nazareth.
10 예루살렘에서 이런 일을 행하여 대제사장들에게서 권한을 받아 가지고 많은 성도를 옥에 가두며 또 죽일 때에 내가 찬성 투표를 하였고
10 And I did so in Jerusalem. I not only locked up many of the saints in prison after receiving authorityfrom the chief priests, butwhen they were put to death I cast my vote against them.
11 또 모든 회당에서 여러 번 형벌하여 강제로 모독하는 말을 하게 하고 그들에 대하여 심히 격분하여 외국 성에까지 가서 박해하였고
11 AndI punished them often in all the synagogues and tried to make themblaspheme, andin raging fury against them Ipersecuted them even to foreign cities.
12 그 일로 대제사장들의 권한과 위임을 받고 다메섹으로 갔나이다
12 In this connectionI journeyed to Damascus with the authority and commission of the chief priests.
13 왕이여 정오가 되어 길에서 보니 하늘로부터 해보다 더 밝은 빛이 나와 내 동행들을 둘러 비추는지라
13 At midday, O king, I saw on the way a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, that shone around me and those who journeyed with me.
14 우리가 다 땅에 엎드러지매 내가 소리를 들으니 히브리 말로 이르되 사울아 사울아 네가 어찌하여 나를 박해하느냐 가시채를 뒷발질하기가 네게 고생이니라
14 And when we had all fallen to the ground, I heard a voice saying to mein the Hebrew language,Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.
15 내가 대답하되 주님 누구시니이까 주께서 이르시되 나는 네가 박해하는 예수라
15 And I said,Who are you, Lord?And the Lord said,I am Jesus whom you are persecuting.
16 일어나 너의 발로 서라 내가 네게 나타난 것은 곧 네가 나를 본 일과 장차 내가 네게 나타날 일에 너로 종과 증인을 삼으려 함이니
16 But rise andstand upon your feet, for I have appeared to you for this purpose,to appoint you as a servant and witness to the things in which you have seen me and to those in which I will appear to you,
17 이스라엘과 이방인들에게서 내가 너를 구원하여 그들에게 보내어
17 delivering you from your people and from the Gentiles&emdash;to whom Iam sending you
18 그 눈을 뜨게 하여 어둠에서 빛으로, 사탄의 권세에서 하나님께로 돌아오게 하고 죄 사함과 나를 믿어 거룩하게 된 무리 가운데서 기업을 얻게 하리라 하더이다
18 to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and fromthe power of Satan to God, that they may receiveforgiveness of sins anda place among those who are sanctifiedby faith in me.
