창세기 (Genesis)
5:1-6:8
1 이것은 아담의 계보를 적은 책이니라 하나님이 사람을 창조하실 때에 하나님의 모양대로 지으시되
1 This is the written account of Adam`s line. When God created man, he made him in the likeness of God.
2 남자와 여자를 창조하셨고 그들이 창조되던 날에 하나님이 그들에게 복을 주시고 그들의 이름을 사람이라 일컬으셨더라
2 He created them male and female and blessed them. And when they were created, he called them "man. "
3 아담은 백삼십 세에 자기의 모양 곧 자기의 형상과 같은 아들을 낳아 이름을 셋이라 하였고
3 When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, in his own image; and he named him Seth.
4 아담은 셋을 낳은 후 팔백 년을 지내며 자녀들을 낳았으며
4 After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters.
5 그는 구백삼십 세를 살고 죽었더라
5 Altogether, Adam lived 930 years, and then he died.
6 셋은 백오 세에 에노스를 낳았고
6 When Seth had lived 105 years, he became the father of Enosh.
7 에노스를 낳은 후 팔백칠 년을 지내며 자녀들을 낳았으며
7 And after he became the father of Enosh, Seth lived 807 years and had other sons and daughters.
8 그는 구백십이 세를 살고 죽었더라
8 Altogether, Seth lived 912 years, and then he died.
9 에노스는 구십 세에 게난을 낳았고
9 When Enosh had lived 90 years, he became the father of Kenan.
10 게난을 낳은 후 팔백십오 년을 지내며 자녀들을 낳았으며
10 And after he became the father of Kenan, Enosh lived 815 years and had other sons and daughters.
11 그는 구백오 세를 살고 죽었더라
11 Altogether, Enosh lived 905 years, and then he died.
12 게난은 칠십 세에 마할랄렐을 낳았고
12 When Kenan had lived 70 years, he became the father of Mahalalel.
13 마할랄렐을 낳은 후 팔백사십 년을 지내며 자녀들을 낳았으며
13 And after he became the father of Mahalalel, Kenan lived 840 years and had other sons and daughters.
14 그는 구백십 세를 살고 죽었더라
14 Altogether, Kenan lived 910 years, and then he died.
15 마할랄렐은 육십오 세에 야렛을 낳았고
15 When Mahalalel had lived 65 years, he became the father of Jared.
16 야렛을 낳은 후 팔백삼십 년을 지내며 자녀를 낳았으며
16 And after he became the father of Jared, Mahalalel lived 830 years and had other sons and daughters.
17 그는 팔백구십오 세를 살고 죽었더라
17 Altogether, Mahalalel lived 895 years, and then he died.
18 야렛은 백육십이 세에 에녹을 낳았고
18 When Jared had lived 162 years, he became the father of Enoch.
19 에녹을 낳은 후 팔백 년을 지내며 자녀들을 낳았으며
19 And after he became the father of Enoch, Jared lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters.
20 그는 구백육십이 세를 살고 죽었더라
20 Altogether, Jared lived 962 years, and then he died.
21 에녹은 육십오 세에 므두셀라를 낳았고
21 When Enoch had lived 65 years, he became the father of Methuselah.
22 므두셀라를 낳은 후 삼백 년을 하나님과 동행하며 자녀들을 낳았으며
22 And after he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked with God 300 years and had other sons and daughters.
23 그는 삼백육십오 세를 살았더라
23 Altogether, Enoch lived 365 years.
24 에녹이 하나님과 동행하더니 하나님이 그를 데려가시므로 세상에 있지 아니하였더라
24 Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.
25 므두셀라는 백팔십칠 세에 라멕을 낳았고
25 When Methuselah had lived 187 years, he became the father of Lamech.
26 라멕을 낳은 후 칠백팔십이 년을 지내며 자녀를 낳았으며
26 And after he became the father of Lamech, Methuselah lived 782 years and had other sons and daughters.
27 그는 구백육십구 세를 살고 죽었더라
27 Altogether, Methuselah lived 969 years, and then he died.
28 라멕은 백팔십이 세에 아들을 낳고
28 When Lamech had lived 182 years, he had a son.
29 이름을 노아라 하여 이르되 여호와께서 땅을 저주하시므로 수고롭게 일하는 우리를 이 아들이 안위하리라 하였더라
29 He named him Noah and said, "He will comfort us in the labor and painful toil of our hands caused by the ground the LORD has cursed."
30 라멕은 노아를 낳은 후 오백구십오 년을 지내며 자녀들을 낳았으며
30 After Noah was born, Lamech lived 595 years and had other sons and daughters.
31 그는 칠백칠십칠 세를 살고 죽었더라
31 Altogether, Lamech lived 777 years, and then he died.
32 노아는 오백 세 된 후에 셈과 함과 야벳을 낳았더라
32 After Noah was 500 years old, he became the father of Shem, Ham and Japheth.
6장
1 사람이 땅 위에 번성하기 시작할 때에 그들에게서 딸들이 나니
1 When men began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them,
2 하나님의 아들들이 사람의 딸들의 아름다움을 보고 자기들이 좋아하는 모든 여자를 아내로 삼는지라
2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose.
3 여호와께서 이르시되 나의 영이 영원히 사람과 함께 하지 아니하리니 이는 그들이 육신이 됨이라 그러나 그들의 날은 백이십 년이 되리라 하시니라
3 Then the LORD said, "My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal ; his days will be a hundred and twenty years."
4 당시에 땅에는 네피림이 있었고 그 후에도 하나님의 아들들이 사람의 딸들에게로 들어와 자식을 낳았으니 그들은 용사라 고대에 명성이 있는 사람들이었더라
4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days--and also afterward--when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.
5 여호와께서 사람의 죄악이 세상에 가득함과 그의 마음으로 생각하는 모든 계획이 항상 악할 뿐임을 보시고
5 The LORD saw how great man`s wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time.
6 땅 위에 사람 지으셨음을 한탄하사 마음에 근심하시고
6 The LORD was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain.
7 이르시되 내가 창조한 사람을 내가 지면에서 쓸어버리되 사람으로부터 가축과 기는 것과 공중의 새까지 그리하리니 이는 내가 그것들을 지었음을 한탄함이니라 하시니라
7 So the LORD said, "I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth--men and animals, and creatures that move along the ground, and birds of the air--for I am grieved that I have made them."
8 그러나 노아는 여호와께 은혜를 입었더라
8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD.시편 (Psalms)

1 여호와여 나의 대적이 어찌 그리 많은지요 일어나 나를 치는 자가 많으니이다
1 O LORD, how many are my foes! How many rise up against me!
2 많은 사람이 나를 대적하여 말하기를 그는 하나님께 구원을 받지 못한다 하나이다 (셀라)
2 Many are saying of me, "God will not deliver him." Selah
3 여호와여 주는 나의 방패시요 나의 영광이시요 나의 머리를 드시는 자이시니이다
3 But you are a shield around me, O LORD; you bestow glory on me and lift up my head.
4 내가 나의 목소리로 여호와께 부르짖으니 그의 성산에서 응답하시는도다 (셀라)
4 To the LORD I cry aloud, and he answers me from his holy hill. Selah
5 내가 누워 자고 깨었으니 여호와께서 나를 붙드심이로다
5 I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the LORD sustains me.
6 천만인이 나를 에워싸 진 친다 하여도 나는 두려워하지 아니하리이다
6 I will not fear the tens of thousands drawn up against me on every side.
7 여호와여 일어나소서 나의 하나님이여 나를 구원하소서 주께서 나의 모든 원수의 뺨을 치시며 악인의 이를 꺾으셨나이다
7 Arise, O LORD! Deliver me, O my God! Strike all my enemies on the jaw; break the teeth of the wicked.
8 구원은 여호와께 있사오니 주의 복을 주의 백성에게 내리소서 (셀라)
8 From the LORD comes deliverance. May your blessing be on your people. Selah
