창세기 (Genesis)
45-46
1 요셉이 시종하는 자들 앞에서 그 정을 억제하지 못하여 소리 질러 모든 사람을 자기에게서 물러가라 하고 그 형제들에게 자기를 알리니 그 때에 그와 함께 한 다른 사람이 없었더라
1 Then Joseph could no longer control himself before all his attendants, and he cried out, "Have everyone leave my presence!" So there was no one with Joseph when he made himself known to his brothers.
2 요셉이 큰 소리로 우니 애굽 사람에게 들리며 바로의 궁중에 들리더라
2 And he wept so loudly that the Egyptians heard him, and Pharaoh`s household heard about it.
3 요셉이 그 형들에게 이르되 나는 요셉이라 내 아버지께서 아직 살아 계시니이까 형들이 그 앞에서 놀라서 대답하지 못하더라
3 Joseph said to his brothers, "I am Joseph! Is my father still living?" But his brothers were not able to answer him, because they were terrified at his presence.
4 요셉이 형들에게 이르되 내게로 가까이 오소서 그들이 가까이 가니 이르되 나는 당신들의 아우 요셉이니 당신들이 애굽에 판 자라
4 Then Joseph said to his brothers, "Come close to me." When they had done so, he said, "I am your brother Joseph, the one you sold into Egypt!
5 당신들이 나를 이 곳에 팔았다고 해서 근심하지 마소서 한탄하지 마소서 하나님이 생명을 구원하시려고 나를 당신들보다 먼저 보내셨나이다
5 And now, do not be distressed and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you.
6 이 땅에 이 년 동안 흉년이 들었으나 아직 오 년은 밭갈이도 못하고 추수도 못할지라
6 For two years now there has been famine in the land, and for the next five years there will not be plowing and reaping.
7 하나님이 큰 구원으로 당신들의 생명을 보존하고 당신들의 후손을 세상에 두시려고 나를 당신들보다 먼저 보내셨나니
7 But God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant on earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance.
8 그런즉 나를 이리로 보낸 이는 당신들이 아니요 하나님이시라 하나님이 나를 바로에게 아버지로 삼으시고 그 온 집의 주로 삼으시며 애굽 온 땅의 통치자로 삼으셨나이다
8 So then, it was not you who sent me here, but God. He made me father to Pharaoh, lord of his entire household and ruler of all Egypt.
9 당신들은 속히 아버지께로 올라가서 아뢰기를 아버지의 아들 요셉의 말에 하나님이 나를 애굽 전국의 주로 세우셨으니 지체 말고 내게로 내려오사
9 Now hurry back to my father and say to him, `This is what your son Joseph says: God has made me lord of all Egypt. Come down to me; don`t delay.
10 아버지의 아들들과 아버지의 손자들과 아버지의 양과 소와 모든 소유가 고센 땅에 머물며 나와 가깝게 하소서
10 You shall live in the region of Goshen and be near me--you, your children and grandchildren, your flocks and herds, and all you have.
11 흉년이 아직 다섯 해가 있으니 내가 거기서 아버지를 봉양하리이다 아버지와 아버지의 가족과 아버지께 속한 모든 사람에게 부족함이 없도록 하겠나이다 하더라고 전하소서
11 I will provide for you there, because five years of famine are still to come. Otherwise you and your household and all who belong to you will become destitute.`
12 당신들의 눈과 내 아우 베냐민의 눈이 보는 바 당신들에게 이 말을 하는 것은 내 입이라
12 You can see for yourselves, and so can my brother Benjamin, that it is really I who am speaking to you.
13 당신들은 내가 애굽에서 누리는 영화와 당신들이 본 모든 것을 다 내 아버지께 아뢰고 속히 모시고 내려오소서 하며
13 Tell my father about all the honor accorded me in Egypt and about everything you have seen. And bring my father down here quickly."
14 자기 아우 베냐민의 목을 안고 우니 베냐민도 요셉의 목을 안고 우니라
14 Then he threw his arms around his brother Benjamin and wept, and Benjamin embraced him, weeping.
15 요셉이 또 형들과 입맞추며 안고 우니 형들이 그제서야 요셉과 말하니라
15 And he kissed all his brothers and wept over them. Afterward his brothers talked with him.
16 요셉의 형들이 왔다는 소문이 바로의 궁에 들리매 바로와 그의 신하들이 기뻐하고
16 When the news reached Pharaoh`s palace that Joseph`s brothers had come, Pharaoh and all his officials were pleased.
17 바로는 요셉에게 이르되 네 형들에게 명령하기를 너희는 이렇게 하여 너희 양식을 싣고 가서 가나안 땅에 이르거든
17 Pharaoh said to Joseph, "Tell your brothers, `Do this: Load your animals and return to the land of Canaan,
18 너희 아버지와 너희 가족을 이끌고 내게로 오라 내가 너희에게 애굽의 좋은 땅을 주리니 너희가 나라의 기름진 것을 먹으리라
18 and bring your father and your families back to me. I will give you the best of the land of Egypt and you can enjoy the fat of the land.`
19 이제 명령을 받았으니 이렇게 하라 너희는 애굽 땅에서 수레를 가져다가 너희 자녀와 아내를 태우고 너희 아버지를 모셔 오라
19 You are also directed to tell them, `Do this: Take some carts from Egypt for your children and your wives, and get your father and come.
20 또 너희의 기구를 아끼지 말라 온 애굽 땅의 좋은 것이 너희 것임이니라
20 Never mind about your belongings, because the best of all Egypt will be yours.` "
21 이스라엘의 아들들이 그대로 할새 요셉이 바로의 명령대로 그들에게 수레를 주고 길 양식을 주며
21 So the sons of Israel did this. Joseph gave them carts, as Pharaoh had commanded, and he also gave them provisions for their journey.
22 또 그들에게 다 각기 옷 한 벌씩을 주되 베냐민에게는 은 삼백과 옷 다섯 벌을 주고
22 To each of them he gave new clothing, but to Benjamin he gave three hundred shekels of silver and five sets of clothes.
23 그가 또 이와 같이 그 아버지에게 보내되 수나귀 열 필에 애굽의 아름다운 물품을 실리고 암나귀 열 필에는 아버지에게 길에서 드릴 곡식과 떡과 양식을 실리고
23 And this is what he sent to his father: ten donkeys loaded with the best things of Egypt, and ten female donkeys loaded with grain and bread and other provisions for his journey.
24 이에 형들을 돌려보내며 그들에게 이르되 당신들은 길에서 다투지 말라 하였더라
24 Then he sent his brothers away, and as they were leaving he said to them, "Don`t quarrel on the way!"
25 그들이 애굽에서 올라와 가나안 땅으로 들어가서 아버지 야곱에게 이르러
25 So they went up out of Egypt and came to their father Jacob in the land of Canaan.
26 알리어 이르되 요셉이 지금까지 살아 있어 애굽 땅 총리가 되었더이다 야곱이 그들의 말을 믿지 못하여 어리둥절 하더니
26 They told him, "Joseph is still alive! In fact, he is ruler of all Egypt." Jacob was stunned; he did not believe them.
27 그들이 또 요셉이 자기들에게 부탁한 모든 말로 그에게 말하매 그들의 아버지 야곱은 요셉이 자기를 태우려고 보낸 수레를 보고서야 기운이 소생한지라
27 But when they told him everything Joseph had said to them, and when he saw the carts Joseph had sent to carry him back, the spirit of their father Jacob revived.
28 이스라엘이 이르되 족하도다 내 아들 요셉이 지금까지 살아 있으니 내가 죽기 전에 가서 그를 보리라 하니라
28 And Israel said, "I`m convinced! My son Joseph is still alive. I will go and see him before I die."
46장
1 이스라엘이 모든 소유를 이끌고 떠나 브엘세바에 이르러 그의 아버지 이삭의 하나님께 희생제사를 드리니
1 So Israel set out with all that was his, and when he reached Beersheba, he offered sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac.
2 그 밤에 하나님이 이상 중에 이스라엘에게 나타나 이르시되 야곱아 야곱아 하시는지라 야곱이 이르되 내가 여기 있나이다 하매
2 And God spoke to Israel in a vision at night and said, "Jacob! Jacob!" "Here I am," he replied.
3 하나님이 이르시되 나는 하나님이라 네 아버지의 하나님이니 애굽으로 내려가기를 두려워하지 말라 내가 거기서 너로 큰 민족을 이루게 하리라
3 I am God, the God of your father, he said. "Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you into a great nation there.
4 내가 너와 함께 애굽으로 내려가겠고 반드시 너를 인도하여 다시 올라올 것이며 요셉이 그의 손으로 네 눈을 감기리라 하셨더라
4 I will go down to Egypt with you, and I will surely bring you back again. And Joseph`s own hand will close your eyes."
5 야곱이 브엘세바에서 떠날새 이스라엘의 아들들이 바로가 그를 태우려고 보낸 수레에 자기들의 아버지 야곱과 자기들의 처자들을 태우고
5 Then Jacob left Beersheba, and Israel`s sons took their father Jacob and their children and their wives in the carts that Pharaoh had sent to transport him.
6 그들의 가축과 가나안 땅에서 얻은 재물을 이끌었으며 야곱과 그의 자손들이 다함께 애굽으로 갔더라
6 They also took with them their livestock and the possessions they had acquired in Canaan, and Jacob and all his offspring went to Egypt.
7 이와 같이 야곱이 그 아들들과 손자들과 딸들과 손녀들 곧 그의 모든 자손을 데리고 애굽으로 갔더라
7 He took with him to Egypt his sons and grandsons and his daughters and granddaughters--all his offspring.
8 애굽으로 내려간 이스라엘 가족의 이름은 이러하니라 야곱과 그의 아들들 곧 야곱의 맏아들 르우벤과
8 These are the names of the sons of Israel (Jacob and his descendants) who went to Egypt: Reuben the firstborn of Jacob.
9 르우벤의 아들 하녹과 발루와 헤스론과 갈미요
9 The sons of Reuben: Hanoch, Pallu, Hezron and Carmi.
10 시므온의 아들은 여무엘과 야민과 오핫과 야긴과 스할과 가나안 여인의 아들 사울이요
10 The sons of Simeon: Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jakin, Zohar and Shaul the son of a Canaanite woman.
11 레위의 아들은 게르손과 그핫과 므라리요
11 The sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath and Merari.
12 유다의 아들 곧 엘과 오난과 셀라와 베레스와 세라니 엘과 오난은 가나안 땅에서 죽었고 베레스의 아들은 헤스론과 하물이요
12 The sons of Judah: Er, Onan, Shelah, Perez and Zerah (but Er and Onan had died in the land of Canaan). The sons of Perez: Hezron and Hamul.
13 잇사갈의 아들은 돌라와 부와와 욥과 시므론이요
13 The sons of Issachar: Tola, Puah, Jashub and Shimron.
14 스불론의 아들은 세렛과 엘론과 얄르엘이니
14 The sons of Zebulun: Sered, Elon and Jahleel.
15 이들은 레아가 밧단아람에서 야곱에게 난 자손들이라 그 딸 디나를 합하여 남자와 여자가 삼십삼 명이며
15 These were the sons Leah bore to Jacob in Paddan Aram, besides his daughter Dinah. These sons and daughters of his were thirty-three in all.
16 갓의 아들은 시뵨과 학기와 수니와 에스본과 에리와 아로디와 아렐리요
16 The sons of Gad: Zephon, Haggi, Shuni, Ezbon, Eri, Arodi and Areli.
17 아셀의 아들은 임나와 이스와와 이스위와 브리아와 그들의 누이 세라며 또 브리아의 아들은 헤벨과 말기엘이니
17 The sons of Asher: Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi and Beriah. Their sister was Serah. The sons of Beriah: Heber and Malkiel.
18 이들은 라반이 그의 딸 레아에게 준 실바가 야곱에게 낳은 자손들이니 모두 십육 명이라
18 These were the children born to Jacob by Zilpah, whom Laban had given to his daughter Leah--sixteen in all.
19 야곱의 아내 라헬의 아들 곧 요셉과 베냐민이요
19 The sons of Jacob`s wife Rachel: Joseph and Benjamin.
20 애굽 땅에서 온의 제사장 보디베라의 딸 아스낫이 요셉에게 낳은 므낫세와 에브라임이요
20 In Egypt, Manasseh and Ephraim were born to Joseph by Asenath daughter of Potiphera, priest of On.
21 베냐민의 아들 곧 벨라와 베겔과 아스벨과 게라와 나아만과 에히와 로스와 뭅빔과 훕빔(후ㅂ빔)과 아릇이니
21 The sons of Benjamin: Bela, Beker, Ashbel, Gera, Naaman, Ehi, Rosh, Muppim, Huppim and Ard.
22 이들은 라헬이 야곱에게 낳은 자손들이니 모두 십사 명이요
22 These were the sons of Rachel who were born to Jacob--fourteen in all.
23 단의 아들 후심이요
23 The son of Dan: Hushim.
24 납달리의 아들 곧 야스엘과 구니와 예셀과 실렘이라
24 The sons of Naphtali: Jahziel, Guni, Jezer and Shillem.
25 이들은 라반이 그의 딸 라헬에게 준 빌하가 야곱에게 낳은 자손들이니 모두 칠 명이라
25 These were the sons born to Jacob by Bilhah, whom Laban had given to his daughter Rachel--seven in all.
26 야곱과 함께 애굽에 들어간 자는 야곱의 며느리들 외에 육십육 명이니 이는 다 야곱의 몸에서 태어난 자이며
26 All those who went to Egypt with Jacob--those who were his direct descendants, not counting his sons` wives--numbered sixty-six persons.
27 애굽에서 요셉이 낳은 아들은 두 명이니 야곱의 집 사람으로 애굽에 이른 자가 모두 칠십 명이었더라
27 With the two sons who had been born to Joseph in Egypt, the members of Jacob`s family, which went to Egypt, were seventy in all.
28 야곱이 유다를 요셉에게 미리 보내어 자기를 고센으로 인도하게 하고 다 고센 땅에 이르니
28 Now Jacob sent Judah ahead of him to Joseph to get directions to Goshen. When they arrived in the region of Goshen,
29 요셉이 그의 수레를 갖추고 고센으로 올라가서 그의 아버지 이스라엘을 맞으며 그에게 보이고 그의 목을 어긋맞춰 안고 얼마 동안 울매
29 Joseph had his chariot made ready and went to Goshen to meet his father Israel. As soon as Joseph appeared before him, he threw his arms around his father and wept for a long time.
30 이스라엘이 요셉에게 이르되 네가 지금까지 살아 있고 내가 네 얼굴을 보았으니 지금 죽어도 족하도다
30 Israel said to Joseph, "Now I am ready to die, since I have seen for myself that you are still alive."
31 요셉이 그의 형들과 아버지의 가족에게 이르되 내가 올라가서 바로에게 아뢰어 이르기를 가나안 땅에 있던 내 형들과 내 아버지의 가족이 내게로 왔는데
31 Then Joseph said to his brothers and to his father`s household, "I will go up and speak to Pharaoh and will say to him, `My brothers and my father`s household, who were living in the land of Canaan, have come to me.
32 그들은 목자들이라 목축하는 사람들이므로 그들의 양과 소와 모든 소유를 이끌고 왔나이다 하리니
32 The men are shepherds; they tend livestock, and they have brought along their flocks and herds and everything they own.`
33 바로가 당신들을 불러서 너희의 직업이 무엇이냐 묻거든
33 When Pharaoh calls you in and asks, `What is your occupation?`
34 당신들은 이르기를 주의 종들은 어렸을 때부터 지금까지 목축하는 자들이온데 우리와 우리 선조가 다 그러하니이다 하소서 애굽 사람은 다 목축을 가증히 여기나니 당신들이 고센 땅에 살게 되리이다
34 you should answer, `Your servants have tended livestock from our boyhood on, just as our fathers did.` Then you will be allowed to settle in the region of Goshen, for all shepherds are detestable to the Egyptians."시편 (Psalms)
28
1 여호와여 내가 주께 부르짖으오니 나의 반석이여 내게 귀를 막지 마소서 주께서 내게 잠잠하시면 내가 무덤에 내려가는 자와 같을까 하나이다
1 To you I call, O LORD my Rock; do not turn a deaf ear to me. For if you remain silent, I will be like those who have gone down to the pit.
2 내가 주의 지성소를 향하여 나의 손을 들고 주께 부르짖을 때에 나의 간구하는 소리를 들으소서
2 Hear my cry for mercy as I call to you for help, as I lift up my hands toward your Most Holy Place.
3 악인과 악을 행하는 자들과 함께 나를 끌어내지 마옵소서 그들은 그 이웃에게 화평을 말하나 그들의 마음에는 악독이 있나이다
3 Do not drag me away with the wicked, with those who do evil, who speak cordially with their neighbors but harbor malice in their hearts.
4 그들이 하는 일과 그들의 행위가 악한 대로 갚으시며 그들의 손이 지은 대로 그들에게 갚아 그 마땅히 받을 것으로 그들에게 갚으소서
4 Repay them for their deeds and for their evil work; repay them for what their hands have done and bring back upon them what they deserve.
5 그들은 여호와께서 행하신 일과 손으로 지으신 것을 생각하지 아니하므로 여호와께서 그들을 파괴하고 건설하지 아니하시리로다
5 Since they show no regard for the works of the LORD and what his hands have done, he will tear them down and never build them up again.
6 여호와를 찬송함이여 내 간구하는 소리를 들으심이로다
6 Praise be to the LORD, for he has heard my cry for mercy.
7 여호와는 나의 힘과 나의 방패이시니 내 마음이 그를 의지하여 도움을 얻었도다 그러므로 내 마음이 크게 기뻐하며 내 노래로 그를 찬송하리로다
7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song.
8 여호와는 그들의 힘이시요 그의 기름 부음 받은 자의 구원의 요새이시로다
8 The LORD is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one.
9 주의 백성을 구원하시며 주의 산업에 복을 주시고 또 그들의 목자가 되시어 영원토록 그들을 인도하소서
9 Save your people and bless your inheritance; be their shepherd and carry them forever.
