14장
1 두로 왕 히람이 다윗에게 사자들과 백향목과 석수와 목수를 보내어 그 궁궐을 건축하게 하였더라
1 And Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and cedar trees, also masons and carpenters to build a house for him.
2 다윗이 여호와께서 자기로 이스라엘 왕을 삼으신줄을 깨달았으니 이는 그 백성 이스라엘을 위하여 나라를 진흥하게 하셨음이더라
2 And David knew that theLordhad established him as king over Israel, and that his kingdom was highly exalted for the sake of his people Israel.
3 다윗이 예루살렘에서 또 아내들을 취하여 또 자녀를 낳았으니
3 And David took more wives in Jerusalem, and David fathered more sons and daughters.
4 예루살렘에서 낳은 아들들의 이름은 삼무아와 소밥과 나단과 솔로몬과
4 These are the names of the children born to him in Jerusalem:Shammua, Shobab, Nathan, Solomon,
5 입할과 엘리수아와 엘벨렛과
5 Ibhar, Elishua, Elpelet,
6 노가와 네벡과 야비아와
6 Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia,
7 엘리사마와 브엘랴다와 엘리벨렛이었더라
7 Elishama,Beeliada andEliphelet.
8 다윗이 기름 부음을 받아 온 이스라엘의 왕이 되었다 함을 블레셋 사람이 듣고 다윗을 찾으러 다 올라오매 다윗이 듣고 방비하러 나갔으나
8 When the Philistines heard that David had been anointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up to search for David. But David heard of it and went out against them.
9 블레셋 사람이 이미 이르러 르바임 골짜기를 침범하였는지라
9 Now the Philistines had come andmade a raid in theValley of Rephaim.
10 다윗이 하나님께 물어 가로되 내가 블레셋 사람을 치러 올라가리이까 주께서 저희를 내 손에 붙이시겠나이까 여호와께서 이르시되 올라가라 내가 저희를 네 손에 붙이리라 하신지라
10 And David inquired of God,Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will you give them into my hand?And theLordsaid to him,Go up, and I will give them into your hand.
11 이에 무리가 바알브라심으로 올라 갔더니 다윗이 거기서 저희를 치고 가로되 하나님이 물을 흩음 같이 내 손으로 내 대적을 흩으셨다 함으로 그곳 이름을 바알브라심이라 칭하니라
11 And he went up to Baal-perazim, and David struck them down there. And David said,God has broken throughmy enemies by my hand, like a bursting flood.Therefore the name of that place is called Baal-perazim.
12 블레셋 사람이 그 우상을 그곳에 버렸으므로 다윗이 명하여 불에 사르니라
12 And they left their gods there, and David gave command, and they were burned.
13 블레셋 사람이 다시 골짜기를 침범한지라
13 And the Philistines yet againmade a raid in the valley.
14 다윗이 또 하나님께 묻자온대 하나님이 이르시되 마주 올라가지 말고 저희 뒤로 돌아뽕나무 수풀 맞은편에서 저희를 엄습하되
14 And when David again inquired of God,God said to him,You shall not go up after them; go around and come against them opposite the balsam trees.
15 뽕나무 꼭대기에서 걸음 걷는 소리가 들리거든 곧 나가서 싸우라 하나님이 네 앞서 나아가서 블레셋 사람의 군대를 치리라 하신지라
15 And when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees, then go out to battle, for God has gone out before you to strike down the army of the Philistines.
16 이에 다윗이 하나님의 명대로 행하여 블레셋 사람의 군대를 쳐서 기브온에서부터 게셀까지 이르렀더니
16 And David did as God commanded him, and they struck down the Philistine army from Gibeon to Gezer.
17 다윗의 명성이 열국에 퍼졌고 여호와께서 열국으로 저를 두려워하게 하셨더라
17 And the fame of David went out into all lands, and theLordbrought thefear of him upon all nations.15장
1 다윗이 다윗성에서 자기를 위하여 궁궐을 세우고 또 하나님의 궤를 위하여 처소를 예비하고 위하여 장막을 치고
1 Davidbuilt houses for himself in the city of David. And he prepared a place for the ark of God andpitched a tent for it.
2 가로되 레위 사람 외에는 하나님의 궤를 멜 수 없나니 이는 여호와께서 저희를 택하사 하나님의 궤를 메고 영원히 저를 섬기게 하셨음이니라 하고
2 Then David said that no one but the Levites may carrythe ark of God, for theLordhad chosen them to carry the ark of theLordand to minister to him forever.
3 이스라엘 온 무리를 예루살렘으로 모으고 여호와의 궤를 그 예비한 곳으로 메어 올리고자 하여
3 And David assembled all Israel at Jerusalem to bring up the ark of theLordto its place, which he had prepared for it.
4 아론 자손과 레위 사람을 모으니
4 And David gathered together the sons of Aaron andthe Levites:
5 그핫 자손 중에 족장 우리엘과 그 형제 일백 이십인이요
5 of the sons of Kohath, Uriel the chief, with 120 of his brothers;
6 므라리 자손 중에 족장 아사야와 그 형제 이백 이십인이요
6 of the sons of Merari, Asaiah the chief, with 220 of his brothers;
7 게르솜 자손 중에 족장 요엘과 그 형제 일백 삼십인이요
7 of the sons of Gershom, Joel the chief, with 130 of his brothers;
8 엘리사반 자손 중에 족장 스마야와 그 형제 이백인이요
8 of the sons of Elizaphan, Shemaiah the chief, with 200 of his brothers;
9 헤브론 자손 중에 족장 엘리엘과 그 형제 팔십인이요
9 of the sons of Hebron, Eliel the chief, with 80 of his brothers;
10 웃시엘 자손 중에 족장 암미나답과 그 형제 일백 십 이인이라
10 of the sons of Uzziel, Amminadab the chief, with 112 of his brothers.
11 다윗이 제사장 사독과 아비아달을 부르고 또 레위 사람 우리엘과 아사야와 요엘과 스마야와 엘리엘과 암미나답을 불러
11 Then David summoned the priestsZadok andAbiathar, and the Levites Uriel, Asaiah, Joel, Shemaiah, Eliel, and Amminadab,
12 저희에게 이르되 너희는 레위 사람의 족장이니 너희와 너희 형제는 몸을 성결케 하고 내가 예비한 곳으로 이스라엘 하나님 여호와의 궤를 메어 올리라
12 and said to them,You are the heads of the fathers' houses of the Levites.Consecrate yourselves, you and your brothers, so that you may bring up the ark of theLord, the God of Israel,to the place that I have prepared for it.
13 전에는 너희가 메지 아니하였으므로 우리 하나님 여호와께서 우리를 충돌하셨나니 이는 우리가 규례대로 저에게 구하지 아니하였음이니라
13 Because you did not carry it the first time, theLordour God broke out against us, because we did not seek him according to the rule.
14 이에 제사장들과 레위 사람들이 이스라엘 하나님 여호와의 궤를 메고 올라가려 하여 몸을 성결케하고
14 So the priests and the Levites consecrated themselves to bring up the ark of theLord, the God of Israel.
15 모세가 여호와의 말씀을 따라 명한대로 레위 자손이 채로 하나님의 궤를 꿰어 어깨에 메니라
15 And the Levites carried the ark of God on their shoulderswith the poles,as Moses had commanded according to the word of theLord.
16 다윗이 레위 사람의 어른들에게 명하여 그 형제 노래하는 자를 세우고 비파와 수금과 제금 등의 악기를 울려서 즐거운 소리를 크게 내라 하매
16 David also commanded the chiefs of the Levites to appoint their brothers as the singers who should play loudly onmusical instruments, on harps and lyres and cymbals, to raise sounds of joy.
17 레위 사람이 요엘의 아들 헤만과 그 형제 중 베레야의 아들 아삽과 그 동종 므라리 자손 중에 구사야의 아들 에단을 세우고
17 So the Levites appointedHeman the son of Joel; and of his brothersAsaph the son of Berechiah; and of the sons of Merari, their brothers,Ethan the son of Kushaiah;
18 그 다음으로 형제 스가랴와 벤과 야아시엘과 스미라못과 여히엘과 운니와 엘리압과 브나야와 마아세야와 맛디디야와 엘리블레후와 믹네야와 문지기 오벧에돔과 여이엘을 세우니
18 and with them their brothers of the second order, Zechariah, Jaaziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, and Mikneiah, and the gatekeepers Obed-edom and Jeiel.
19 노래하는 자 헤만과 아삽과 에단은 놋제금을 크게 치는 자요
19 The singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were to sound bronze cymbals;
20 스가랴와 아시엘과 스미라못과 여히엘과 운니와 엘리압과 마아세야와 브나야는 비파를 타서 여청에 맞추는 자요
20 Zechariah,Aziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Maaseiah, and Benaiah were to play harps according toAlamoth;
21 맛디디야와 엘리블레후와 믹네야와 오벧에돔과 여이엘과 아사시야는 수금을 타서 여덟째 음에 맞추어 인도하는 자요
21 but Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah,Obed-edom, Jeiel, and Azaziah were to lead with lyres according tothe Sheminith.
22 레위 사람의 족장 그나냐는 노래에 익숙하므로 노래를 주장하여 사람에게 가르치는 자요
22 Chenaniah, leader of the Levites in music, should direct the music, for he understood it.
23 베레갸와 엘가나는 궤 앞에서 문을 지키는 자요
23 Berechiah and Elkanah were to be gatekeepers for the ark.
24 제사장 스바냐와 요사밧과 느다넬과 아미새와 스가랴와 브나야와 엘리에셀은 하나님의 궤 앞에서 나팔을 부는 자요 오벧에돔과 여히야는 궤 앞에서 문을 지키는 자더라
24 Shebaniah, Joshaphat, Nethanel, Amasai, Zechariah, Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, shouldblow the trumpets before the ark of God.Obed-edom and Jehiah were to be gatekeepers for the ark.로마서
1장
18 하나님의 진노가 불의로 진리를 막는 사람들의 모든 경건치 않음과 불의에 대하여 하늘로 좇아 나타나나니
18 Forthe wrath of Godis revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth.
19 이는 하나님을 알만한 것이 저희 속에 보임이라 하나님께서 이를 저희에게 보이셨느니라
19 For what can beknown about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them.
20 창세로부터 그의 보이지 아니하는 것들 곧 그의 영원하신 능력과 신성이 그 만드신 만물에 분명히 보여 알게 되나니 그러므로 저희가 핑계치 못할찌니라
20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature,have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world,in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
21 하나님을 알되 하나님으로 영화롭게도 아니하며 감사치도 아니하고 오히려 그 생각이 허망하여지며 미련한 마음이 어두워졌나니
21 For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but theybecame futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
22 스스로 지혜 있다 하나 우준하게 되어
22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools,
23 썩어지지 아니하는 하나님의 영광을 썩어질 사람과 금수와 버러지 형상의 우상으로 바꾸었느니라
23 andexchanged the glory ofthe immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.
24 그러므로 하나님께서 저희를 마음의 정욕대로 더러움에 내어 버려두사 저희 몸을 서로 욕되게 하셨으니
24 ThereforeGod gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, tothe dishonoring of their bodies among themselves,
25 이는 저희가 하나님의 진리를 거짓 것으로 바꾸어 피조물을 조물주보다 더 경배하고 섬김이라 주는 곧 영원히 찬송할 이시로다 아멘
25 because they exchanged the truth about God fora lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator,who is blessed forever! Amen.
26 이를 인하여 하나님께서 저희를 부끄러운 욕심에 내어 버려 두셨으니 곧 저희 여인들도 순리대로 쓸 것을 바꾸어 역리로 쓰며
26 For this reasonGod gave them up todishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature;
27 이와 같이 남자들도 순리대로 여인 쓰기를 버리고 서로 향하여 음욕이 불 일듯 하매 남자가 남자로 더불어 부끄러운 일을 행하여 저희의 그릇됨에 상당한 보응을 그 자신에 받았느니라
27 and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another,men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.
28 또한 저희가 마음에 하나님 두기를 싫어하매 하나님께서 저희를 그 상실한 마음대로 내어 버려두사 합당치 못한 일을 하게 하셨으니
28 And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God,God gave them up toa debased mind to dowhat ought not to be done.
29 곧 모든 불의, 추악, 탐욕, 악의가 가득한 자요 시기, 살인, 분쟁, 사기, 악독이 가득한 자요 수군수군하는 자요
29 They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips,
30 비방하는 자요 하나님의 미워하시는 자요 능욕하는 자요 교만한 자요 자랑하는 자요 악을 도모하는 자요 부모를 거역하는 자요
30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents,
31 우매한 자요 배약하는 자요 무정한 자요 무자비한 자라
31 foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless.
32 저희가 이같은 일을 행하는 자는 사형에 해당하다고 하나님의 정하심을 알고도 자기들만 행할 뿐 아니라 또한 그 일을 행하는 자를 옳다 하느니라
32 Though they knowGod's righteous decree that those who practice such thingsdeserve to die, they not only do them butgive approval to those who practice them.
