출애굽기
3장
1 모세가 그의 장인 미디안 제사장 이드로의 양 떼를 치더니 그 떼를 광야 서쪽으로 인도하여 하나님의 산 호렙에 이르매
1 Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the far side of the desert and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.
2 여호와의 사자가 떨기나무 가운데로부터 나오는 불꽃 안에서 그에게 나타나시니라 그가 보니 떨기나무에 불이 붙었으나 그 떨기나무가 사라지지 아니하는지라
2 There the angel of the LORD appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up.
3 이에 모세가 이르되 내가 돌이켜 가서 이 큰 광경을 보리라 떨기나무가 어찌하여 타지 아니하는고 하니 그 때에
3 So Moses thought, "I will go over and see this strange sight--why the bush does not burn up."
4 여호와께서 그가 보려고 돌이켜 오는 것을 보신지라 하나님이 떨기나무 가운데서 그를 불러 이르시되 모세야 모세야 하시매 그가 이르되 내가 여기 있나이다
4 When the LORD saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, "Moses! Moses!" And Moses said, "Here I am."
5 하나님이 이르시되 이리로 가까이 오지 말라 네가 선 곳은 거룩한 땅이니 네 발에서 신을 벗으라
5 Do not come any closer, God said. "Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground."
6 또 이르시되 나는 네 조상의 하나님이니 아브라함의 하나님, 이삭의 하나님, 야곱의 하나님이니라 모세가 하나님 뵈옵기를 두려워하여 얼굴을 가리매
6 Then he said, "I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob." At this, Moses hid his face, because he was afraid to look at God.
7 여호와께서 이르시되 내가 애굽에 있는 내 백성의 고통을 분명히 보고 그들이 그들의 감독자로 말미암아 부르짖음을 듣고 그 근심을 알고
7 The LORD said, "I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering.
8 내가 내려가서 그들을 애굽인의 손에서 건져내고 그들을 그 땅에서 인도하여 아름답고 광대한 땅, 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅 곧 가나안 족속, 헷 족속, 아모리 족속, 브리스 족속, 히위 족속, 여부스 족속의 지방에 데려가려 하노라
8 So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey--the home of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites.
9 이제 가라 이스라엘 자손의 부르짖음이 내게 달하고 애굽 사람이 그들을 괴롭히는 학대도 내가 보았으니
9 And now the cry of the Israelites has reached me, and I have seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them.
10 이제 내가 너를 바로에게 보내어 너에게 내 백성 이스라엘 자손을 애굽에서 인도하여 내게 하리라
10 So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt."
11 모세가 하나님께 아뢰되 내가 누구이기에 바로에게 가며 이스라엘 자손을 애굽에서 인도하여 내리이까
11 But Moses said to God, "Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?"
12 하나님이 이르시되 내가 반드시 너와 함께 있으리라 네가 그 백성을 애굽에서 인도하여 낸 후에 너희가 이 산에서 하나님을 섬기리니 이것이 내가 너를 보낸 증거니라
12 And God said, "I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain."
13 모세가 하나님께 아뢰되 내가 이스라엘 자손에게 가서 이르기를 너희의 조상의 하나님이 나를 너희에게 보내셨다 하면 그들이 내게 묻기를 그의 이름이 무엇이냐 하리니 내가 무엇이라고 그들에게 말하리이까
13 Moses said to God, "Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, `The God of your fathers has sent me to you,` and they ask me, `What is his name?` Then what shall I tell them?"
14 하나님이 모세에게 이르시되 나는 스스로 있는 자이니라 또 이르시되 너는 이스라엘 자손에게 이같이 이르기를 스스로 있는 자가 나를 너희에게 보내셨다 하라
14 God said to Moses, "I am who I am . This is what you are to say to the Israelites: `I AM has sent me to you.` "
15 하나님이 또 모세에게 이르시되 너는 이스라엘 자손에게 이같이 이르기를 너희 조상의 하나님 여호와 곧 아브라함의 하나님, 이삭의 하나님, 야곱의 하나님께서 나를 너희에게 보내셨다 하라 이는 나의 영원한 이름이요 대대로 기억할 나의 칭호니라
15 God also said to Moses, "Say to the Israelites, `The LORD, the God of your fathers--the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob--has sent me to you.` This is my name forever, the name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation.
16 너는 가서 이스라엘의 장로들을 모으고 그들에게 이르기를 여호와 너희 조상의 하나님 곧 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱의 하나님이 내게 나타나 이르시되 내가 너희를 돌보아 너희가 애굽에서 당한 일을 확실히 보았노라
16 Go, assemble the elders of Israel and say to them, `The LORD, the God of your fathers--the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob--appeared to me and said: I have watched over you and have seen what has been done to you in Egypt.
17 내가 말하였거니와 내가 너희를 애굽의 고난 중에서 인도하여 내어 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅 곧 가나안 족속, 헷 족속, 아모리 족속, 브리스 족속, 히위 족속, 여부스 족속의 땅으로 올라가게 하리라 하셨다 하면
17 And I have promised to bring you up out of your misery in Egypt into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites--a land flowing with milk and honey.`
18 그들이 네 말을 들으리니 너는 그들의 장로들과 함께 애굽 왕에게 이르기를 히브리 사람의 하나님 여호와께서 우리에게 임하셨은즉 우리가 우리 하나님 여호와께 제사를 드리려 하오니 사흘길쯤 광야로 가도록 허락하소서 하라
18 The elders of Israel will listen to you. Then you and the elders are to go to the king of Egypt and say to him, `The LORD, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us. Let us take a three-day journey into the desert to offer sacrifices to the LORD our God.`
19 내가 아노니 강한 손으로 치기 전에는 애굽 왕이 너희가 가도록 허락하지 아니하다가
19 But I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go unless a mighty hand compels him.
20 내가 내 손을 들어 애굽 중에 여러 가지 이적으로 그 나라를 친 후에야 그가 너희를 보내리라
20 So I will stretch out my hand and strike the Egyptians with all the wonders that I will perform among them. After that, he will let you go.
21 내가 애굽 사람으로 이 백성에게 은혜를 입히게 할지라 너희가 나갈 때에 빈손으로 가지 아니하리니
21 And I will make the Egyptians favorably disposed toward this people, so that when you leave you will not go empty-handed.
22 여인들은 모두 그 이웃 사람과 및 자기 집에 거류하는 여인에게 은 패물과 금 패물과 의복을 구하여 너희의 자녀를 꾸미라 너희는 애굽 사람들의 물품을 취하리라
22 Every woman is to ask her neighbor and any woman living in her house for articles of silver and gold and for clothing, which you will put on your sons and daughters. And so you will plunder the Egyptians."마태복음
17장
14 그들이 무리에게 이르매 한 사람이 예수께 와서 꿇어 엎드려 이르되
14 When they came to the crowd, a man approached Jesus and knelt before him.
15 주여 내 아들을 불쌍히 여기소서 그가 간질로 심히 고생하여 자주 불에도 넘어지며 물에도 넘어지는지라
15 Lord, have mercy on my son, he said. "He has seizures and is suffering greatly. He often falls into the fire or into the water.
16 내가 주의 제자들에게 데리고 왔으나 능히 고치지 못하더이다
16 I brought him to your disciples, but they could not heal him."
17 예수께서 대답하여 이르시되 믿음이 없고 패역한 세대여 내가 얼마나 너희와 함께 있으며 얼마나 너희에게 참으리요 그를 이리로 데려오라 하시니라
17 O unbelieving and perverse generation, Jesus replied, "how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy here to me."
18 이에 예수께서 꾸짖으시니 귀신이 나가고 아이가 그 때부터 나으니라
18 Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed from that moment.
19 이 때에 제자들이 조용히 예수께 나아와 이르되 우리는 어찌하여 쫓아내지 못하였나이까
19 Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, "Why couldn`t we drive it out?"
20 이르시되 너희 믿음이 작은 까닭이니라 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 만일 너희에게 믿음이 겨자씨 한 알 만큼만 있어도 이 산을 명하여 여기서 저기로 옮겨지라 하면 옮겨질 것이요 또 너희가 못할 것이 없으리라
20 He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, `Move from here to there` and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."

22 갈릴리에 모일 때에 예수께서 제자들에게 이르시되 인자가 장차 사람들의 손에 넘겨져
22 When they came together in Galilee, he said to them, "The Son of Man is going to be betrayed into the hands of men.
23 죽임을 당하고 제삼일에 살아나리라 하시니 제자들이 매우 근심하더라
23 They will kill him, and on the third day he will be raised to life." And the disciples were filled with grief.
24 가버나움에 이르니 반 세겔 받는 자들이 베드로에게 나아와 이르되 너의 선생은 반 세겔을 내지 아니하느냐
24 After Jesus and his disciples arrived in Capernaum, the collectors of the two-drachma tax came to Peter and asked, "Doesn`t your teacher pay the temple tax?"
25 이르되 내신다 하고 집에 들어가니 예수께서 먼저 이르시되 시몬아 네 생각은 어떠하냐 세상 임금들이 누구에게 관세와 국세를 받느냐 자기 아들에게냐 타인에게냐
25 Yes, he does, he replied. When Peter came into the house, Jesus was the first to speak. "What do you think, Simon?" he asked. "From whom do the kings of the earth collect duty and taxes--from their own sons or from others?"
26 베드로가 이르되 타인에게니이다 예수께서 이르시되 그렇다면 아들들은 세를 면하리라
26 From others, Peter answered. "Then the sons are exempt," Jesus said to him.
27 그러나 우리가 그들이 실족하지 않게 하기 위하여 네가 바다에 가서 낚시를 던져 먼저 오르는 고기를 가져 입을 열면 돈 한 세겔을 얻을 것이니 가져다가 나와 너를 위하여 주라 하시니라
27 But so that we may not offend them, go to the lake and throw out your line. Take the first fish you catch; open its mouth and you will find a four-drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for my tax and yours.
