17:8-18:27
출17:8 그 때에 아말렉이 와서 이스라엘과 르비딤에서 싸우니라 [개역개정]
Ex.17:8 The Amalekites came and attacked the Israelites at Rephidim. [NIV]출17:9 모세가 여호수아에게 이르되 우리를 위하여 사람들을 택하여 나가서 아말렉과 싸우라 내일 내가 하나님의 지팡이를 손에 잡고 산 꼭대기에 서리라 [개역개정]
Ex.17:9 Moses said to Joshua, "Choose some of our men and go out to fight the Amalekites. Tomorrow I will stand on top of the hill with the staff of God in my hands." [NIV]출17:10 여호수아가 모세의 말대로 행하여 아말렉과 싸우고 모세와 아론과 훌은 산 꼭대기에 올라가서 [개역개정]
Ex.17:10 So Joshua fought the Amalekites as Moses had ordered, and Moses, Aaron and Hur went to the top of the hill. [NIV]출17:11 모세가 손을 들면 이스라엘이 이기고 손을 내리면 아말렉이 이기더니 [개역개정]
Ex.17:11 As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning. [NIV]출17:12 모세의 팔이 피곤하매 그들이 돌을 가져다가 모세의 아래에 놓아 그가 그 위에 앉게 하고 아론과 훌이 한 사람은 이쪽에서, 한 사람은 저쪽에서 모세의 손을 붙들어 올렸더니 그 손이 해가 지도록 내려오지 아니한지라 [개역개정]
Ex.17:12 When Moses' hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up--one on one side, one on the other--so that his hands remained steady till sunset. [NIV]출17:13 여호수아가 칼날로 아말렉과 그 백성을 쳐서 무찌르니라 [개역개정]

Ex.18:3 and her two sons. One son was named Gershom, for Moses said, "I have become an alien in a foreign land"; [NIV]출18:4 하나의 이름은 엘리에셀이라 이는 내 아버지의 하나님이 나를 도우사 바로의 칼에서 구원하셨다 함이더라 [개역개정]
Ex.18:4 and the other was named Eliezer, for he said, "My father's God was my helper; he saved me from the sword of Pharaoh." [NIV]출18:5 모세의 장인 이드로가 모세의 아들들과 그의 아내와 더불어 광야에 들어와 모세에게 이르니 곧 모세가 하나님의 산에 진 친 곳이라 [개역개정]
Ex.18:5 Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, together with Moses' sons and wife, came to him in the desert, where he was camped near the mountain of God. [NIV]출18:6 그가 모세에게 말을 전하되 네 장인 나 이드로가 네 아내와 그와 함께 한 그의 두 아들과 더불어 네게 왔노라 [개역개정]

Ex.18:7 So Moses went out to meet his father-in-law and bowed down and kissed him. They greeted each other and then went into the tent. [NIV]출18:8 모세가 여호와께서 이스라엘을 위하여 바로와 애굽 사람에게 행하신 모든 일과 길에서 그들이 당한 모든 고난과 여호와께서 그들을 구원하신 일을 다 그 장인에게 말하매 [개역개정]
Ex.18:8 Moses told his father-in-law about everything the LORD had done to Pharaoh and the Egyptians for Israel's sake and about all the hardships they had met along the way and how the LORD had saved them. [NIV]출18:9 이드로가 여호와께서 이스라엘에게 큰 은혜를 베푸사 애굽 사람의 손에서 구원하심을 기뻐하여 [개역개정]
Ex.18:9 Jethro was delighted to hear about all the good things the LORD had done for Israel in rescuing them from the hand of the Egyptians. [NIV]출18:10 이드로가 이르되 여호와를 찬송하리로다 너희를 애굽 사람의 손에서와 바로의 손에서 건져내시고 백성을 애굽 사람의 손 아래에서 건지셨도다 [개역개정]
Ex.18:10 He said, "Praise be to the LORD, who rescued you from the hand of the Egyptians and of Pharaoh, and who rescued the people from the hand of the Egyptians. [NIV]출18:11 이제 내가 알았도다 여호와는 모든 신보다 크시므로 이스라엘에게 교만하게 행하는 그들을 이기셨도다 하고 [개역개정]
Ex.18:11 Now I know that the LORD is greater than all other gods, for he did this to those who had treated Israel arrogantly." [NIV]출18:12 모세의 장인 이드로가 번제물과 희생제물들을 하나님께 가져오매 아론과 이스라엘 모든 장로가 와서 모세의 장인과 함께 하나님 앞에서 떡을 먹으니라 [개역개정]
Ex.18:12 Then Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, brought a burnt offering and other sacrifices to God, and Aaron came with all the elders of Israel to eat bread with Moses' father-in-law in the presence of God. [NIV]출18:13 이튿날 모세가 백성을 재판하느라고 앉아 있고 백성은 아침부터 저녁까지 모세 곁에 서 있는지라 [개역개정]
Ex.18:13 The next day Moses took his seat to serve as judge for the people, and they stood around him from morning till evening. [NIV]출18:14 모세의 장인이 모세가 백성에게 행하는 모든 일을 보고 이르되 네가 이 백성에게 행하는 이 일이 어찌 됨이냐 어찌하여 네가 홀로 앉아 있고 백성은 아침부터 저녁까지 네 곁에 서 있느냐 [개역개정]
Ex.18:14 When his father-in-law saw all that Moses was doing for the people, he said, "What is this you are doing for the people? Why do you alone sit as judge, while all these people stand around you from morning till evening?" [NIV]출18:15 모세가 그의 장인에게 대답하되 백성이 하나님께 물으려고 내게로 옴이라 [개역개정]
Ex.18:15 Moses answered him, "Because the people come to me to seek God's will. [NIV]출18:16 그들이 일이 있으면 내게로 오나니 내가 그 양쪽을 재판하여 하나님의 율례와 법도를 알게 하나이다 [개역개정]
Ex.18:16 Whenever they have a dispute, it is brought to me, and I decide between the parties and inform them of God's decrees and laws." [NIV]출18:17 모세의 장인이 그에게 이르되 네가 하는 것이 옳지 못하도다 [개역개정]
Ex.18:17 Moses' father-in-law replied, "What you are doing is not good. [NIV]출18:18 너와 또 너와 함께 한 이 백성이 필경 기력이 쇠하리니 이 일이 네게 너무 중함이라 네가 혼자 할 수 없으리라 [개역개정]
Ex.18:18 You and these people who come to you will only wear yourselves out. The work is too heavy for you; you cannot handle it alone. [NIV]출18:19 이제 내 말을 들으라 내가 네게 방침을 가르치리니 하나님이 너와 함께 계실지로다 너는 하나님 앞에서 그 백성을 위하여 그 사건들을 하나님께 가져오며 [개역개정]
Ex.18:19 Listen now to me and I will give you some advice, and may God be with you. You must be the people's representative before God and bring their disputes to him. [NIV]출18:20 그들에게 율례와 법도를 가르쳐서 마땅히 갈 길과 할 일을 그들에게 보이고 [개역개정]
Ex.18:20 Teach them the decrees and laws, and show them the way to live and the duties they are to perform. [NIV]출18:21 너는 또 온 백성 가운데서 능력 있는 사람들 곧 하나님을 두려워하며 진실하며 불의한 이익을 미워하는 자를 살펴서 백성 위에 세워 천부장과 백부장과 오십부장과 십부장을 삼아 [개역개정]
Ex.18:21 But select capable men from all the people--men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain--and appoint them as officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens. [NIV]출18:22 그들이 때를 따라 백성을 재판하게 하라 큰 일은 모두 네게 가져갈 것이요 작은 일은 모두 그들이 스스로 재판할 것이니 그리하면 그들이 너와 함께 담당할 것인즉 일이 네게 쉬우리라 [개역개정]
Ex.18:22 Have them serve as judges for the people at all times, but have them bring every difficult case to you; the simple cases they can decide themselves. That will make your load lighter, because they will share it with you. [NIV]출18:23 네가 만일 이 일을 하고 하나님께서도 네게 허락하시면 네가 이 일을 감당하고 이 모든 백성도 자기 곳으로 평안히 가리라 [개역개정]
Ex.18:23 If you do this and God so commands, you will be able to stand the strain, and all these people will go home satisfied." [NIV]출18:24 이에 모세가 자기 장인의 말을 듣고 그 모든 말대로 하여 [개역개정]
Ex.18:24 Moses listened to his father-in-law and did everything he said. [NIV]출18:25 모세가 이스라엘 무리 중에서 능력 있는 사람들을 택하여 그들을 백성의 우두머리 곧 천부장과 백부장과 오십부장과 십부장을 삼으매 [개역개정]
Ex.18:25 He chose capable men from all Israel and made them leaders of the people, officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens. [NIV]출18:26 그들이 때를 따라 백성을 재판하되 어려운 일은 모세에게 가져오고 모든 작은 일은 스스로 재판하더라 [개역개정]
Ex.18:26 They served as judges for the people at all times. The difficult cases they brought to Moses, but the simple ones they decided themselves. [NIV]출18:27 모세가 그의 장인을 보내니 그가 자기 땅으로 가니라 [개역개정]
Ex.18:27 Then Moses sent his father-in-law on his way, and Jethro returned to his own country. [NIV]시편 (Psalms)

Ps.41:2 The LORD will protect him and preserve his life; he will bless him in the land and not surrender him to the desire of his foes. [NIV]시41:3 여호와께서 그를 병상에서 붙드시고 그가 누워 있을 때마다 그의 병을 고쳐 주시나이다 [개역개정]
Ps.41:3 The LORD will sustain him on his sickbed and restore him from his bed of illness. [NIV]시41:4 내가 말하기를 여호와여 내게 은혜를 베푸소서 내가 주께 범죄하였사오니 나를 고치소서 하였나이다 [개역개정]
Ps.41:4 I said, "O LORD, have mercy on me; heal me, for I have sinned against you." [NIV]시41:5 나의 원수가 내게 대하여 악담하기를 그가 어느 때에나 죽고 그의 이름이 언제나 없어질까 하며 [개역개정]
Ps.41:5 My enemies say of me in malice, "When will he die and his name perish?" [NIV]시41:6 나를 보러 와서는 거짓을 말하고 그의 중심에 악을 쌓았다가 나가서는 이를 널리 선포하오며 [개역개정]
Ps.41:6 Whenever one comes to see me, he speaks falsely, while his heart gathers slander; then he goes out and spreads it abroad. [NIV]시41:7 나를 미워하는 자가 다 하나같이 내게 대하여 수군거리고 나를 해하려고 꾀하며 [개역개정]
Ps.41:7 All my enemies whisper together against me; they imagine the worst for me, saying, [NIV]시41:8 이르기를 악한 병이 그에게 들었으니 이제 그가 눕고 다시 일어나지 못하리라 하오며 [개역개정]
Ps.41:8 "A vile disease has beset him; he will never get up from the place where he lies." [NIV]시41:9 내가 신뢰하여 내 떡을 나눠 먹던 나의 가까운 친구도 나를 대적하여 그의 발꿈치를 들었나이다 [개역개정]
Ps.41:9 Even my close friend, whom I trusted, he who shared my bread, has lifted up his heel against me. [NIV]시41:10 그러하오나 주 여호와여 내게 은혜를 베푸시고 나를 일으키사 내가 그들에게 보응하게 하소서 이로써 [개역개정]
Ps.41:10 But you, O LORD, have mercy on me; raise me up, that I may repay them. [NIV]시41:11 내 원수가 나를 이기지 못하오니 주께서 나를 기뻐하시는 줄을 내가 알았나이다 [개역개정]
Ps.41:11 I know that you are pleased with me, for my enemy does not triumph over me. [NIV]시41:12 주께서 나를 온전한 중에 붙드시고 영원히 주 앞에 세우시나이다 [개역개정]
Ps.41:12 In my integrity you uphold me and set me in your presence forever. [NIV]시41:13 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와를 영원부터 영원까지 송축할지로다 아멘 아멘 [개역개정]
Ps.41:13 Praise be to the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Amen and Amen. [NIV]
