8장
11 솔로몬이 바로의 딸을 데리고 다윗 성에서부터 그를 위하여 건축한 왕궁에 이르러 이르되 내 아내가 이스라엘 왕 다윗의 왕궁에 살지 못하리니 이는 여호와의 궤가 이른 곳은 다 거룩함이니라 하였더라
11 Solomon brought Pharaoh's daughter up from the city of David to the house that he had built for her, for he said,My wife shall not live in the house of David king of Israel, for the places to which the ark of theLordhas come are holy.
12 솔로몬이 낭실 앞에 쌓은 여호와의 제단 위에 여호와께 번제를 드리되
12 Then Solomon offered up burnt offerings to theLordon the altar of theLordthat he had built before the vestibule,
13 모세의 명령을 따라 매일의 일과대로 안식일과 초하루와 정한 절기 곧 일년의 세 절기 무교절과 칠칠절과 초막절에 드렸더라
13 as the duty of each day required, offeringaccording to the commandment of Moses for the Sabbaths, the new moons, and thethree annual feasts&emdash;the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks, and the Feast of Booths.
14 솔로몬이 또 그의 아버지 다윗의 규례를 따라 제사장들의 반열을 정하여 섬기게 하고 레위 사람들에게도 그 직분을 맡겨 매일의 일과대로 찬송하며 제사장들 앞에서 수종들게 하며 또 문지기들에게 그 반열을 따라 각 문을 지키게 하였으니 이는 하나님의 사람 다윗이 전에 이렇게 명령하였음이라
14 According to the ruling of David his father, he appointedthe divisions of the priests for their service,and the Levites for their offices of praise andministry before the priestsas the duty of each day required, andthe gatekeepers in their divisions at each gate, for so Davidthe man of God had commanded.
15 제사장들과 레위 사람들이 국고 일에든지 무슨 일에든지 왕이 명령한 바를 전혀 어기지 아니하였더라
15 And they did not turn aside from what the king had commanded the priests and Levites concerning any matter and concerning the treasuries.
16 솔로몬이 여호와의 전의 기초를 쌓던 날부터 준공하기까지 모든 것을 완비하였으므로 여호와의 전 공사가 결점 없이 끝나니라
16 Thus was accomplished all the work of Solomon fromthe day the foundation of the house of theLordwas laid until it was finished. So the house of theLordwas completed.
17 그 때에 솔로몬이 에돔 땅의 바닷가 에시온게벨과 엘롯에 이르렀더니
17 Then Solomon went toEzion-geber andEloth on the shore of the sea, in the land of Edom.
18 후람이 그의 신복들에게 부탁하여 배와 바닷길을 아는 종들을 보내매 그들이 솔로몬의 종들과 함께 오빌에 이르러 거기서 금 사백오십 달란트를 얻어 솔로몬 왕에게로 가져왔더라
18 And Hiram sent to him by the hand of his servants ships and servants familiar with the sea, and they went to Ophir together with the servants of Solomon and brought from there450 talentsof gold and brought it to King Solomon.
9장
1 스바 여왕이 솔로몬의 명성을 듣고 와서 어려운 질문으로 솔로몬을 시험하고자 하여 예루살렘에 이르니 매우 많은 시종들을 거느리고 향품과 많은 금과 보석을 낙타에 실었더라 그가 솔로몬에게 나아와 자기 마음에 있는 것을 다 말하매
1 Now whenthe queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to Jerusalem to test him with hard questions, having a very great retinue and camels bearing spices and very much gold and precious stones. And when she came to Solomon, she told him all that was on her mind.
2 솔로몬이 그가 묻는 말에 다 대답하였으니 솔로몬이 몰라서 대답하지 못한 것이 없었더라
2 And Solomon answered all her questions. There was nothing hidden from Solomon that he could not explain to her.
3 스바 여왕이 솔로몬의 지혜와 그가 건축한 궁과
3 And whenthe queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon, the house that he had built,
4 그의 상의 음식물과 그의 신하들의 좌석과 그의 신하들이 도열한 것과 그들의 공복과 술 관원들과 그들의 공복과 여호와의 전에 올라가는 층계를 보고 정신이 황홀하여
4 the food of his table, the seating of his officials, and the attendance of his servants, and their clothing, his cupbearers, and their clothing, and his burnt offerings that he offered at the house of theLord, there was no more breath in her.
5 왕께 말하되 내가 내 나라에서 당신의 행위와 당신의 지혜에 대하여 들은 소문이 진실하도다
5 And she said to the king,The report was true that I heard in my own land of your words and of your wisdom,
6 내가 그 말들을 믿지 아니하였더니 이제 와서 본즉 당신의 지혜가 크다 한 말이 그 절반도 못 되니 당신은 내가 들은 소문보다 더하도다
6 but I did not believe thereports until I came and my own eyes had seen it. And behold, half the greatness of your wisdom was not told me; you surpass the report that I heard.
7 복되도다 당신의 사람들이여, 복되도다 당신의 이 신하들이여, 항상 당신 앞에 서서 당신의 지혜를 들음이로다
7 Happy are your wives!Happy are these your servants, who continually stand before you and hear your wisdom!
8 당신의 하나님 여호와를 송축할지로다 하나님이 당신을 기뻐하시고 그 자리에 올리사 당신의 하나님 여호와를 위하여 왕이 되게 하셨도다 당신의 하나님이 이스라엘을 사랑하사 영원히 견고하게 하시려고 당신을 세워 그들의 왕으로 삼아 정의와 공의를 행하게 하셨도다 하고
8 Blessed be theLordyour God, who has delighted in youand set you on his throne as king for theLordyour God!Because your God loved Israel and would establish them forever, he has made you king over them, that you may execute justice and righteousness.
9 이에 그가 금 백이십 달란트와 매우 많은 향품과 보석을 왕께 드렸으니 스바 여왕이 솔로몬 왕께 드린 향품 같은 것이 전에는 없었더라
9 Then she gave the king 120 talentsof gold, and a very great quantity of spices, and precious stones. There were no spices such as those that the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon.
10 (후람의 신하들과 솔로몬의 신하들도 오빌에서 금을 실어 올 때에 백단목과 보석을 가져온지라
10 Moreover, the servants of Hiram and the servants of Solomon,who brought gold from Ophir, brought algum wood and precious stones.
11 왕이 백단목으로 여호와의 전과 왕궁의 층대를 만들고 또 노래하는 자들을 위하여 수금과 비파를 만들었으니 이같은 것들은 유다 땅에서 전에는 보지 못하였더라)
11 And the king made from the algum woodsupports for the house of theLordand for the king's house, lyres also and harps for the singers. There never was seen the like of them before in the land of Judah.
12 솔로몬 왕이 스바 여왕이 가져온 대로 답례하고 그 외에 또 그의 소원대로 구하는 것을 모두 주니 이에 그가 그의 신하들과 더불어 본국으로 돌아갔더라
12 And King Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all that she desired, whatever she askedbesides what she had brought to the king. So she turned and went back to her own land with her servants.
13 솔로몬의 세입금의 무게가 금 육백육십육 달란트요
13 Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was 666 talents of gold,
14 그 외에 또 무역상과 객상들이 가져온 것이 있고 아라비아 왕들과 그 나라 방백들도 금과 은을 솔로몬에게 가져온지라
14 besides that which the explorers and merchants brought.And all the kings of Arabia and the governors of the land brought gold and silver to Solomon.
15 솔로몬 왕이 쳐서 늘인 금으로 큰 방패 이백 개를 만들었으니 방패 하나에 든 금이 육백 세겔이며
15 King Solomon made 200 large shields of beaten gold; 600 shekelsof beaten gold went into each shield.
16 또 쳐서 늘인 금으로 작은 방패 삼백 개를 만들었으니 방패 하나에 든 금이 삼백 세겔이라 왕이 이것들을 레바논 나무 궁에 두었더라
16 And he made 300 shields of beaten gold;300 shekels of gold went into each shield; and the king put them in the House of the Forest of Lebanon.
17 왕이 또 상아로 큰 보좌를 만들고 순금으로 입혔으니
17 The king also made a great ivory throne and overlaid it with pure gold.
18 그 보좌에는 여섯 층계와 금 발판이 있어 보좌와 이어졌고 앉는 자리 양쪽에는 팔걸이가 있고 팔걸이 곁에는 사자가 하나씩 섰으며
18 The throne had six steps and a footstool of gold, which were attached to the throne, and on each side of the seat were armrests and two lions standing beside the armrests,
19 또 열두 사자가 있어 그 여섯 층계 양쪽에 섰으니 어떤 나라에도 이같이 만든 것이 없었더라
19 while twelve lions stood there, one on each end of a step on the six steps. Nothing like it was ever made for any kingdom.로마서
8장
26 이와 같이 성령도 우리의 연약함을 도우시나니 우리는 마땅히 기도할 바를 알지 못하나 오직 성령이 말할 수 없는 탄식으로 우리를 위하여 친히 간구하시느니라
26 Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. Forwe do not know what to pray for as we ought, butthe Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
27 마음을 살피시는 이가 성령의 생각을 아시나니 이는 성령이 하나님의 뜻대로 성도를 위하여 간구하심이니라
27 Andhe who searches hearts knows what isthe mind of the Spirit, becausethe Spiritintercedes for the saintsaccording to the will of God.
28 우리가 알거니와 하나님을 사랑하는 자 곧 그의 뜻대로 부르심을 입은 자들에게는 모든 것이 합력하여 선을 이루느니라
28 And we know that for those who love God all things work togetherfor good,forthose who are called according to his purpose.
29 하나님이 미리 아신 자들을 또한 그 아들의 형상을 본받게 하기 위하여 미리 정하셨으니 이는 그로 많은 형제 중에서 맏아들이 되게 하려 하심이니라
29 For those whom heforeknew he alsopredestinedto be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might bethe firstborn among many brothers.
30 또 미리 정하신 그들을 또한 부르시고 부르신 그들을 또한 의롭다 하시고 의롭다 하신 그들을 또한 영화롭게 하셨느니라
30 And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he alsojustified, and those whom he justified he alsoglorified.
