역대하
14장
1 아비야가 그의 조상들과 함께 누우매 다윗 성에 장사되고 그의 아들 아사가 대신하여 왕이 되니 그의 시대에 그의 땅이 십 년 동안 평안하니라
1 Abijah slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David. And Asa his son reigned in his place. In his days the land had rest for ten years.
2 아사가 그의 하나님 여호와 보시기에 선과 정의를 행하여
2 And Asa did what was good and right in the eyes of theLordhis God.
3 이방 제단과 산당을 없애고 주상을 깨뜨리며 아세라 상을 찍고
3 He took away the foreign altarsand the high places and broke downthe pillars and cut down theAsherim
4 유다 사람에게 명하여 그 조상들의 하나님 여호와를 찾게 하며 그의 율법과 명령을 행하게 하고
4 and commanded Judah to seek theLord, the God of their fathers, and to keep the law and the commandment.
5 또 유다 모든 성읍에서 산당과 태양상을 없애매 나라가 그 앞에서 평안함을 누리니라
5 He also took out of all the cities of Judahthe high places and theincense altars. And the kingdom had rest under him.
6 여호와께서 아사에게 평안을 주셨으므로 그 땅이 평안하여 여러 해 싸움이 없은지라 그가 견고한 성읍들을 유다에 건축하니라
6 He builtfortified cities in Judah, for the land had rest. He had no war in those years,for theLordgave him peace.
7 아사가 일찍이 유다 사람에게 이르되 우리가 우리 하나님 여호와를 찾았으므로 이 땅이 아직 우리 앞에 있나니 우리가 이 성읍들을 건축하고 그 주위에 성곽과 망대와 문과 빗장을 만들자 우리가 주를 찾았으므로 주께서 우리 사방에 평안을 주셨느니라 하고 이에 그들이 성읍을 형통하게 건축하였더라
7 And he said to Judah,Let us build these cities and surround them withwalls and towers, gates and bars. The land is still ours, because we have sought theLordour God. We have sought him,and he has given us peace on every side.So they built and prospered.
8 아사의 군대는 유다 중에서 큰 방패와 창을 잡는 자가 삼십만 명이요 베냐민 중에서 작은 방패를 잡으며 활을 당기는 자가 이십팔만 명이라 그들은 다 큰 용사였더라
8 And Asa had an army of300,000 from Judah, armed with large shields and spears, and 280,000 men from Benjamin that carried shields and drew bows. All these were mighty men of valor.
9 구스 사람 세라가 그들을 치려 하여 군사 백만 명과 병거 삼백 대를 거느리고 마레사에 이르매
9 Zerahthe Ethiopian came out against them with an army of a million men and 300 chariots, and came as far asMareshah.
10 아사가 마주 나가서 마레사의 스바다 골짜기에 전열을 갖추고
10 And Asa went out to meet him, andthey drew up their lines of battle in the Valley of Zephathah atMareshah.
11 아사가 그의 하나님 여호와께 부르짖어 이르되 여호와여 힘이 강한 자와 약한 자 사이에는 주밖에 도와 줄 이가 없사오니 우리 하나님 여호와여 우리를 도우소서 우리가 주를 의지하오며 주의 이름을 의탁하옵고 이 많은 무리를 치러 왔나이다 여호와여 주는 우리 하나님이시오니 원하건대 사람이 주를 이기지 못하게 하옵소서 하였더니
11 And Asacried to theLordhis God,OLord, there is none like you to help, between the mighty and the weak. Help us, OLordour God,for we rely on you,and in your name we have come against this multitude. OLord, you are our God; let not man prevail against you.
12 여호와께서 구스 사람들을 아사와 유다 사람들 앞에서 치시니 구스 사람들이 도망하는지라
12 So theLorddefeated the Ethiopians before Asa and before Judah, and the Ethiopians fled.
13 아사와 그와 함께 한 백성이 구스 사람들을 추격하여 그랄까지 이르매 이에 구스 사람들이 엎드러지고 살아 남은 자가 없었으니 이는 여호와 앞에서와 그의 군대 앞에서 패망하였음이라 노략한 물건이 매우 많았더라
13 Asa and the people who were with him pursued them as far asGerar, and the Ethiopians fell until none remained alive, for they were broken before theLordand his army. The men of Judahcarried away very much spoil.
14 여호와께서 그랄 사면 모든 성읍 백성을 두렵게 하시니 무리가 그의 모든 성읍을 치고 그 가운데에 있는 많은 물건을 노략하고
14 And they attacked all the cities aroundGerar,for the fear of theLordwas upon them. They plundered all the cities, for there was much plunder in them.
15 또 짐승 지키는 천막을 치고 양과 낙타를 많이 이끌고 예루살렘으로 돌아왔더라
15 And they struck down the tents of those who had livestock and carried away sheep in abundance and camels. Then they returned to Jerusalem.15장
1 하나님의 영이 오뎃의 아들 아사랴에게 임하시매
1 The Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Oded,
2 그가 나가서 아사를 맞아 이르되 아사와 및 유다와 베냐민의 무리들아 내 말을 들으라 너희가 여호와와 함께 하면 여호와께서 너희와 함께 하실지라 너희가 만일 그를 찾으면 그가 너희와 만나게 되시려니와 너희가 만일 그를 버리면 그도 너희를 버리시리라
2 and he went out to meet Asa and said to him,Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin:TheLordis with you while you are with him.If you seek him, he will be found by you,but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.
3 이스라엘에는 참 신이 없고 가르치는 제사장도 없고 율법도 없은 지가 오래 되었으나
3 For a long time Israel was without the true God, and without a teaching priest and without law,
4 그들이 그 환난 때에 이스라엘 하나님 여호와께로 돌아가서 찾으매 그가 그들과 만나게 되셨나니
4 but when in their distress they turned to theLord, the God of Israel, and sought him, he was found by them.
5 그 때에 온 땅의 모든 주민이 크게 요란하여 사람의 출입이 평안하지 못하며
5 In those times there was no peaceto him who went out or to him who came in, for great disturbances afflicted all the inhabitants of the lands.
6 이 나라와 저 나라가 서로 치고 이 성읍이 저 성읍과 또한 그러하여 피차 상한 바 되었나니 이는 하나님이 여러 가지 고난으로 요란하게 하셨음이라
6 They were broken in pieces. Nation was crushed by nation and city by city, for God troubled them with every sort of distress.
7 그런즉 너희는 강하게 하라 너희의 손이 약하지 않게 하라 너희 행위에는 상급이 있음이라 하니라
7 But you, take courage! Do not let your hands be weak,for your work shall be rewarded.
8 아사가 이 말 곧 선지자 오뎃의 예언을 듣고 마음을 강하게 하여 가증한 물건들을 유다와 베냐민 온 땅에서 없애고 또 에브라임 산지에서 빼앗은 성읍들에서도 없애고 또 여호와의 낭실 앞에 있는 여호와의 제단을 재건하고
8 As soon as Asa heard these words,the prophecy of Azariah the son of Oded, he took courage and put away the detestable idols from all the land of Judah and Benjamin and fromthe cities that he had taken inthe hill country of Ephraim, and he repaired the altar of theLordthat was in front of the vestibule of the house of theLord로마서
9장
25 호세아의 글에도 이르기를 내가 내 백성 아닌 자를 내 백성이라, 사랑하지 아니한 자를 사랑한 자라 부르리라
25 As indeed he says in Hosea,Those who were not my people I will callmy people,and her who was not beloved I will callbeloved.
26 너희는 내 백성이 아니라 한 그 곳에서 그들이 살아 계신 하나님의 아들이라 일컬음을 받으리라 함과 같으니라
26 And in the very place where it was said to them,You are not my people,there they will be calledsons of the living God.
27 또 이사야가 이스라엘에 관하여 외치되 이스라엘 자손들의 수가 비록 바다의 모래 같을지라도 남은 자만 구원을 받으리니
27 And Isaiah cries out concerning Israel:Though the number of the sons of Israelbe as the sand of the sea,only a remnant of them will be saved,
28 주께서 땅 위에서 그 말씀을 이루고 속히 시행하시리라 하셨느니라
28 for the Lord will carry out his sentence upon the earth fully and without delay.
29 또한 이사야가 미리 말한 바 만일 만군의 주께서 우리에게 씨를 남겨 두지 아니하셨더라면 우리가 소돔과 같이 되고 고모라와 같았으리로다 함과 같으니라
29 And as Isaiah predicted,If the Lord of hosts had not left us offspring,we would have been like Sodomand become like Gomorrah.
