22장
10 아하시야의 모친 아달랴가 그 아들의 죽은 것을 보고 일어나 유다 집의 왕의 씨를 진멸하였으나
10 Now when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the royal family of the house of Judah.
11 왕의 딸 여호사브앗이 아하시야의 아들 요아스를 왕자들의 죽임을 당하는 중에서 도적하여 내고 저와 그 유모를 침실에 숨겨 아달랴를 피하게 한고로 아달랴가 저를 죽이지 못하였더라 여호사브앗은 여호람왕의 딸이요 아하시야의 누이요 제사장 여호야다의 아내더라
11 But Jehoshabeath,the daughter of the king, took Joash the son of Ahaziah and stole him away from among the king's sons who were about to be put to death, and she put him and his nurse in a bedroom. Thus Jehoshabeath, the daughter of King Jehoram and wife of Jehoiada the priest, because she was a sister of Ahaziah, hid himfrom Athaliah, so that she did not put him to death.
12 요아스가 저희와 함께 하나님의 전에 육년을 숨어 있는 동안에 아달랴가 나라를 다스렸더라
12 And he remained with them six years, hidden in the house of God, while Athaliah reigned over the land.23장
1 제 칠년에 여호야다가 세력을 내어 백부장 곧 여로함의 아들 아사랴와 여호하난의 아들 이스마엘과 오벳의 아들 아사랴와 아다야의 아들 마아세야와 시그리의 아들 엘리사밧 등으로 더불어 언약을 세우매
1 But in the seventh year Jehoiada took courage and entered into a covenant with the commanders of hundreds, Azariah the son of Jeroham, Ishmael the son of Jehohanan, Azariah the son of Obed, Maaseiah the son of Adaiah, and Elishaphat the son of Zichri.
2 저희가 유다로 두루 다니며 유다 모든 고을로서 레위 사람과 이스라엘 족장들을 모아 예루살렘에 이른지라
2 And they went about throughJudah and gathered the Levites from all the cities of Judah, and the heads of fathers' houses of Israel, and they came to Jerusalem.
3 온 회중이 하나님의 전에서 왕과 언약을 세우매 여호야다가 무리에게 이르되 여호와께서 다윗의 자손에게 대하여 말씀하신대로 왕자가 즉위하여야 할찌니
3 And all the assembly made a covenant with the king in the house of God. And Jehoiadasaid to them,Behold, the king's son! Let him reign,as theLordspoke concerning the sons of David.
4 이제 너희는 이와 같이 행하라 너희 제사장과 레위 사람 곧 안식일에 입번한 자의 삼분 일은 문을 지키고
4 This is the thing that you shall do:of you priests and Levites who come off duty on the Sabbath, one third shall be gatekeepers,
5 삼분 일은 왕궁에 있고 삼분 일은 기초문에 있고 백성들은 여호와의 전 뜰에 있을찌라
5 and one third shall be at the king's house and one third at the Gate of the Foundation. And all the people shall be in the courts of the house of theLord.
6 제사장과 수종드는 레위 사람은 거룩한즉 여호와의 전에 들어오려니와 그 외의 다른 사람은 들어오지 못할 것이니 모든 백성은 여호와의 명하신바를 지킬찌며
6 Let no one enter the house of theLordexcept the priestsand ministering Levites. They may enter, for they are holy, but all the people shall keep the charge of theLord.
7 레위 사람은 각각 손에 병기를 잡고 왕을 호위하며 다른 사람이 전에 들어 오거든 죽이고 왕의 출입할 때에 시위할찌니라
7 The Levites shall surround the king, each with his weapons in his hand. And whoever enters the house shall be put to death. Be with the king when he comes in and when he goes out.
8 레위 사람과 유다 무리가 제사장 여호야다의 모든 명한 바를 준행하여 각기 수하의 안식일에 입번할 자와 안식일에 출번할 자를 거느리고 있으니 이는 제사장 여호야다가 출번하는 자를 보내지 아니함이더라
8 The Levites and all Judah did according to all that Jehoiada the priest commanded, and they each brought his men, who were to go off duty on the Sabbath, with those who were to come on duty on the Sabbath, for Jehoiada the priest did not dismissthe divisions.
9 제사장 여호야다가 하나님의 전 안에 있는 다윗왕의 창과 큰 방패와 작은 방패를 백부장들에게 주고
9 And Jehoiada the priest gave to the captains the spears and the large and small shields that had been King David's, which were in the house of God.
10 또 백성들로 각각 손에 병기를 잡고 왕을 호위하되 전 우편에서부터 전 좌편까지 단과 전 곁에 서게 하고
10 And he set all the people as a guard for the king, every man with his weapon in his hand, from the south side of the house to the north side of the house, around the altar and the house.
11 무리가 왕자를 인도하여 내어 면류관을 씌우며 율법 책을 주고 세워 왕을 삼을쌔 여호야다와 그 아들들이 저에게 기름을 붓고 모두 왕의 만세를 부르니라
11 Then they brought out the king's son and put the crown on him and gave himthe testimony. And they proclaimed him king, and Jehoiada and his sons anointed him, and they said,Long live the king.
12 아달랴가 백성들이 분주하며 왕을 찬송하는 소리를 듣고 여호와의 전에 들어가서 백성에게 이르러
12 When Athaliah heard the noise of the people running and praising the king, she went into the house of theLordto the people.
13 보매 왕이 전 문 기둥 곁에 섰고 장관들과 나팔수가 왕의 곁에 모셨으며 국민들이 즐거워하여 나팔을 불며 노래하는 자는 주악하며 찬송을 인도하는지라 이에 아달랴가 옷을 찢으며 외치되 반역이로다 반역이로다 하매
13 And when she looked, there was the king standing by his pillar at the entrance, and the captains and the trumpeters beside the king, and all the people of the land rejoicing and blowing trumpets, and the singers with their musical instruments leading in the celebration. And Athaliah tore her clothes and cried,Treason! Treason!
14 제사장 여호야다가 군대를 거느린 백부장들을 불러내어 명하여 가로되 반렬 밖으로 몰아내라 무릇 저를 따르는 자는 칼로 죽이라 하니 제사장의 이 말은 여호와의 전에서는 저를 죽이지 말라 함이라
14 Then Jehoiada the priest brought out the captains who were set over the army, saying to them,Bring her out between the ranks, and anyone who follows her is to be put to death with the sword.For the priest said,Do not put her to death in the house of theLord.
15 이에 무리가 길을 열어 주고 저가 왕궁 마문 어귀에 이를 때에 거기서 죽였더라
15 So they laid hands on her,and she went into the entrance ofthe horse gate of the king's house, and they put her to death there.
16 여호야다가 자기와 뭇 백성과 왕의 사이에 언약을 세워 여호와의 백성이 되리라 한지라
16 And Jehoiada made a covenant between himself and all the people and the king that they should be theLord's people.
17 온 국민이 바알의 당으로 가서 그 당을 훼파하고 그 단들과 우상들을 깨뜨리고 그 단 앞에서 바알의 제사장 맛단을 죽이니라
17 Then all the people went to the house of Baal and tore it down; his altars and his images they broke in pieces,and they killed Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars.
18 여호야다가 여호와의 전의 직원을 세워 제사장 레위 사람의 수하에 맡기니 이들은 다윗이 전에 그 반차를 나누어서 여호와의 전에서 모세의 율법에 기록한대로 여호와께 번제를 드리며 자기의 정한 규례대로 즐거이 부르고 노래하게 하였던 자더라
18 And Jehoiada posted watchmen for the house of theLordunder the direction ofthe Levitical priests and the Leviteswhom David had organized to be in charge of the house of theLord, to offer burnt offerings to theLord,as it is written in the Law of Moses, with rejoicing and with singing,according to the order of David.
19 또 문지기를 여호와의 전 여러 문에 두어 무릇 아무 일에든지 부정한 자는 들어오지 못하게 하고
19 He stationedthe gatekeepers at the gates of the house of theLordso that no one should enter who was in any way unclean.
20 백부장들과 존귀한 자들과 백성의 방백들과 온 국민을 거느리고 왕을 인도하여 여호와의 전에서 내려와서 윗문으로 좇아 왕궁에 이르러 왕을 나라 보좌에 앉히매
20 And he took the captains, the nobles, the governors of the people, and all the people of the land, and they brought the king down from the house of theLord, marchingthrough the upper gate to the king's house. And they set the king on the royal throne.
21 온 국민이 즐거워하고 성중이 평온하더라 아달랴를 무리가 칼로 죽였었더라
21 So all the people of the land rejoiced, and the city was quiet after Athaliah had been put to death with the sword.로마서
11장
25 형제들아 너희가 스스로 지혜 있다 함을 면키 위하여 이 비밀을 너희가 모르기를 내가 원치 아니하노니 이 비밀은 이방인의 충만한 수가 들어오기까지 이스라엘의 더러는 완악하게 된 것이라
25 Lest you be wise in your own sight, I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery, brothers:a partial hardening has come upon Israel,until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.
26 그리하여 온 이스라엘이 구원을 얻으리라 기록된바 구원자가 시온에서 오사 야곱에게서 경건치 않은 것을 돌이키시겠고
26 And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written,The Deliverer will comefrom Zion,he will banish ungodliness from Jacob;
27 내가 저희 죄를 없이 할 때에 저희에게 이루어질 내 언약이 이것이라 함과 같으니라
27 and this will be mycovenant with themwhen I take away their sins.
28 복음으로 하면 저희가 너희를 인하여 원수 된 자요 택하심으로 하면 조상들을 인하여 사랑을 입은 자라
28 As regards the gospel, they are enemies for your sake. But as regards election, they arebeloved for the sake of their forefathers.
29 하나님의 은사와 부르심에는 후회하심이 없느니라
29 For the gifts andthe calling of God are irrevocable.
30 너희가 전에 하나님께 순종치 아니하더니 이스라엘에 순종치 아니함으로 이제 긍휼을 입었는지라
30 For just asyou were at one time disobedient to God but now have received mercy because of their disobedience,
31 이와 같이 이 사람들이 순종치 아니하니 이는 너희에게 베푸시는 긍휼로 이제 저희도 긍휼을 얻게 하려 하심이니라
31 so they too have now been disobedient in order that by the mercy shown to you they also may nowreceive mercy.
32 하나님이 모든 사람을 순종치 아니하는 가운데 가두어 두심은 모든 사람에게 긍휼을 베풀려 하심이로다
32 For Godhas consigned all to disobedience, that he may have mercy on all.
33 깊도다 하나님의 지혜와 지식의 부요함이여, 그의 판단은 측량치 못할것이며 그의 길은 찾지 못할 것이로다
33 Oh, the depth of the riches andwisdom and knowledge of God!How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!
34 누가 주의 마음을 알았느뇨 누가 그의 모사가 되었느뇨
34 Forwho has known the mind of the Lord,orwho has been his counselor?
35 누가 주께 먼저 드려서 갚으심을 받겠느뇨
35 Orwho has given a gift to himthat he might be repaid?
36 이는 만물이 주에게서 나오고 주로 말미암고 주에게로 돌아감이라 영광이 그에게 세세에 있으리로다 아멘
36 Forfrom him and through him and to him are all things.To him be glory forever. Amen.
