94장
16 누가 나를 위하여 일어나서 행악자를 치며 누가 나를 위하여 일어서서 죄악 행하는 자를 칠꼬
16 Who rises up for me against the wicked?Who stands up for me against evildoers?
17 여호와께서 내게 도움이 되지 아니하셨더면 내 혼이 벌써 적막 중에 처하였으리로다
17 If theLordhad not been my help,my soul would soon have lived in the land ofsilence.
18 여호와여 나의 발이 미끄러진다 말할 때에 주의 인자하심이 나를 붙드셨사오며
18 When I thought,My foot slips,your steadfast love, OLord,held me up.
19 내 속에 생각이 많을 때에 주의 위안이 내 영혼을 즐겁게 하시나이다
19 When the cares of my heart are many,your consolations cheer my soul.
20 율례를 빙자하고 잔해를 도모하는 악한 재판장이 어찌 주와 교제하리이까
20 Canwicked rulers be allied with you,those who frame injustice bystatute?
21 저희가 모여 의인의 영혼을 치려 하며 무죄자를 정죄하여 피를 흘리려 하나
21 Theyband together against the life of the righteousand condemnthe innocent to death.
22 여호와는 나의 산성이시요 나의 하나님은 나의 피할 반석이시라
22 But theLordhas become mystronghold,and my Godthe rock of myrefuge.
23 저희 죄악을 저희에게 돌리시며 저희의 악을 인하여 저희를 끊으시리니 여호와 우리 하나님이 저희를 끊으시리로다
23 He will bring back on themtheir iniquityandwipe them out for their wickedness;theLordour God will wipe them out.95장
잠언
20장
1 포도주는 거만케 하는 것이요 독주는 떠들게 하는 것이라 무릇 이에 미혹되는 자에게는 지혜가 없느니라
1 Wine is a mocker,strong drink a brawler,and whoeveris led astray by it is not wise.
2 왕의 진노는 사자의 부르짖음 같으니 그를 노하게 하는 것은 자기의 생명을 해하는 것이니라
2 The terror of a king is likethe growling of a lion;whoever provokes him to angerforfeits his life.
3 다툼을 멀리 하는 것이 사람에게 영광이어늘 미련한 자마다 다툼을 일으키느니라
3 It is an honor for a man tokeep aloof from strife,but every fool will be quarreling.
4 게으른 자는 가을에 밭 갈지 아니하나니 그러므로 거둘 때에는 구걸할찌라도 얻지 못하리라
4 The sluggard does not plow in the autumn;he will seek at harvest and have nothing.
5 사람의 마음에 있는 모략은 깊은 물 같으니라 그럴찌라도 명철한 사람은 그것을 길어 내느니라
5 The purpose in a man's heart is likedeep water,but a man of understanding will draw it out.
6 많은 사람은 각기 자기의 인자함을 자랑하나니 충성된 자를 누가 만날 수 있으랴
6 Many a manproclaims his own steadfast love,buta faithful man who can find?
7 완전히 행하는 자가 의인이라 그 후손에게 복이 있느니라
7 The righteous whowalks in his integrity&emdash;blessed are his children after him!
8 심판 자리에 앉은 왕은 그 눈으로 모든 악을 흩어지게 하느니라
8 A king who sits on the throne of judgmentwinnows all evil with his eyes.
