3장
1 이스라엘 자손이 각자의 성읍에 살았더니 일곱째 달에 이르러 일제히 예루살렘에 모인지라
1 When the seventh month came, and the children of Israel were in the towns, the people gathered as one man to Jerusalem.
2 요사닥의 아들 예수아와 그의 형제 제사장들과 스알디엘의 아들 스룹바벨과 그의 형제들이 다 일어나 이스라엘 하나님의 제단을 만들고 하나님의 사람 모세의 율법에 기록한 대로 번제를 그 위에서 드리려 할새
2 Then arose Jeshua the son of Jozadak, with his fellow priests, andZerubbabel the son ofShealtiel with his kinsmen, and they built the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings on it,as it is written in the Law of Moses theman of God.
3 무리가 모든 나라 백성을 두려워하여 제단을 그 터에 세우고 그 위에서 아침 저녁으로 여호와께 번제를 드리며
3 They set the altar in its place,for fear was on them because of the peoples of the lands, andthey offered burnt offerings on it to theLord, burnt offerings morning and evening.
4 기록된 규례대로 초막절을 지켜 번제를 매일 정수대로 날마다 드리고
4 And they kept the Feast of Booths,as it is written,and offered the daily burnt offerings by number according to the rule, as each day required,
5 그 후에는 항상 드리는 번제와 초하루와 여호와의 모든 거룩한 절기의 번제와 사람이 여호와께 기쁘게 드리는 예물을 드리되
5 and after that the regular burntofferings, the offerings at the new moonand at all the appointed feasts of theLord, and the offerings of everyone who made a freewill offering to theLord.
6 일곱째 달 초하루부터 비로소 여호와께 번제를 드렸으나 그 때에 여호와의 성전 지대는 미처 놓지 못한지라
6 From the first day of the seventh month they began to offer burnt offerings to theLord. But the foundation of the temple of theLordwas not yet laid.
7 이에 석수와 목수에게 돈을 주고 또 시돈 사람과 두로 사람에게 먹을 것과 마실 것과 기름을 주고 바사 왕 고레스의 명령대로 백향목을 레바논에서 욥바 해변까지 운송하게 하였더라
7 So they gave money to the masons and the carpenters,and food, drink, and oil to the Sidonians and the Tyriansto bring cedar trees from Lebanon to the sea, to Joppa,according to the grant that they had from Cyrus king of Persia.
8 예루살렘에 있는 하나님의 성전에 이른 지 이 년 둘째 달에 스알디엘의 아들 스룹바벨과 요사닥의 아들 예수아와 다른 형제 제사장들과 레위 사람들과 무릇 사로잡혔다가 예루살렘에 돌아온 자들이 공사를 시작하고 이십 세 이상의 레위 사람들을 세워 여호와의 성전 공사를 감독하게 하매
8 Now in the second year after their coming to the house of God at Jerusalem, in the second month,Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel andJeshua the son of Jozadak made a beginning, together with the rest of their kinsmen, the priests and the Levites and all who had come to Jerusalem from the captivity. Theyappointed the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, tosupervise the work of the house of theLord.
9 이에 예수아와 그의 아들들과 그의 형제들과 갓미엘과 그의 아들들과 유다 자손과 헤나닷 자손과 그의 형제 레위 사람들이 일제히 일어나 하나님의 성전 일꾼들을 감독하니라
9 AndJeshua with his sons and his brothers, and Kadmiel and his sons, the sons of Judah, togethersupervised the workmen in the house of God, along with thesons of Henadad and the Levites, their sons and brothers.
10 건축자가 여호와의 성전의 기초를 놓을 때에 제사장들은 예복을 입고 나팔을 들고 아삽 자손 레위 사람들은 제금을 들고 서서 이스라엘 왕 다윗의 규례대로 여호와를 찬송하되
10 And when the builders laid the foundation of the temple of theLord, the priests in their vestments came forward with trumpets, and the Levites, the sons of Asaph, with cymbals, to praise theLord,according to the directions of David king of Israel.
11 찬양으로 화답하며 여호와께 감사하여 이르되 주는 지극히 선하시므로 그의 인자하심이 이스라엘에게 영원하시도다 하니 모든 백성이 여호와의 성전 기초가 놓임을 보고 여호와를 찬송하며 큰 소리로 즐거이 부르며
11 And they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to theLord,For he is good,for his steadfast love endures forever toward Israel.And all the people shouted with a great shout when they praised theLord, because the foundation of the house of theLordwas laid.
12 제사장들과 레위 사람들과 나이 많은 족장들은 첫 성전을 보았으므로 이제 이 성전의 기초가 놓임을 보고 대성통곡하였으나 여러 사람은 기쁨으로 크게 함성을 지르니
12 But many of the priests and Levites and heads of fathers' houses,old men who had seen the first house, wept with a loud voice when they saw the foundation of this house being laid, though many shouted aloud for joy,
13 백성이 크게 외치는 소리가 멀리 들리므로 즐거이 부르는 소리와 통곡하는 소리를 백성들이 분간하지 못하였더라
13 so that the people could not distinguish the sound of the joyful shout from the sound of the people's weeping, for the people shouted with a great shout, and the sound was heard far away.
4장
1 사로잡혔던 자들의 자손이 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와의 성전을 건축한다 함을 유다와 베냐민의 대적이 듣고
1 Now whenthe adversaries of Judah and Benjamin heard that the returned exiles were building a temple to theLord, the God of Israel,
2 스룹바벨과 족장들에게 나아와 이르되 우리도 너희와 함께 건축하게 하라 우리도 너희 같이 너희 하나님을 찾노라 앗수르 왕 에살핫돈이 우리를 이리로 오게 한 날부터 우리가 하나님께 제사를 드리노라 하니
2 they approached Zerubbabel and the heads of fathers' houses and said to them,Let us build with you, for we worship your God as you do, and we have been sacrificing to him eversince the days ofEsarhaddon king of Assyriawho brought us here.
3 스룹바벨과 예수아와 기타 이스라엘 족장들이 이르되 우리 하나님의 성전을 건축하는 데 너희는 우리와 상관이 없느니라 바사 왕 고레스가 우리에게 명령하신 대로 우리가 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와를 위하여 홀로 건축하리라 하였더니
3 But Zerubbabel, Jeshua, and the rest of the heads of fathers' houses in Israel said to them,You have nothing to do with us in building a house to our God; but we alone will build to theLord, the God of Israel,as King Cyrus the king of Persia has commanded us.
4 이로부터 그 땅 백성이 유다 백성의 손을 약하게 하여 그 건축을 방해하되
4 Thenthe people of the land discouraged the people of Judah and made them afraid to build
5 바사 왕 고레스의 시대부터 바사 왕 다리오가 즉위할 때까지 관리들에게 뇌물을 주어 그 계획을 막았으며
5 and bribed counselors against them to frustrate their purpose, all the days of Cyrus king of Persia, even until the reign of Darius king of Persia.
6 또 아하수에로가 즉위할 때에 그들이 글을 올려 유다와 예루살렘 주민을 고발하니라
6 And in the reign ofAhasuerus, in the beginning of his reign, they wrote an accusation against the inhabitants of Judah and Jerusalem.고린도전서
2장
6 그러나 우리가 온전한 자들 중에서는 지혜를 말하노니 이는 이 세상의 지혜가 아니요 또 이 세상에서 없어질 통치자들의 지혜도 아니요
6 Yet amongthe mature we do impart wisdom, although it is nota wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age,who are doomed to pass away.
7 오직 은밀한 가운데 있는 하나님의 지혜를 말하는 것으로서 곧 감추어졌던 것인데 하나님이 우리의 영광을 위하여 만세 전에 미리 정하신 것이라
7 But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God,which God decreed before the ages for our glory.
8 이 지혜는 이 세대의 통치자들이 한 사람도 알지 못하였나니 만일 알았더라면 영광의 주를 십자가에 못 박지 아니하였으리라
8 None ofthe rulers of this age understood this, forif they had, they would not have crucifiedthe Lord of glory.
9 기록된 바 하나님이 자기를 사랑하는 자들을 위하여 예비하신 모든 것은 눈으로 보지 못하고 귀로 듣지 못하고 사람의 마음으로 생각하지도 못하였다 함과 같으니라
9 But, as it is written,What no eye has seen, nor ear heard,nor the heart of man imagined,what God haspreparedfor those who love him&emdash;
10 오직 하나님이 성령으로 이것을 우리에게 보이셨으니 성령은 모든 것 곧 하나님의 깊은 것까지도 통달하시느니라
10 these thingsGod has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, eventhe depths of God.
11 사람의 일을 사람의 속에 있는 영 외에 누가 알리요 이와 같이 하나님의 일도 하나님의 영 외에는 아무도 알지 못하느니라
11 For who knows a person's thoughtsexcept the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
12 우리가 세상의 영을 받지 아니하고 오직 하나님으로부터 온 영을 받았으니 이는 우리로 하여금 하나님께서 우리에게 은혜로 주신 것들을 알게 하려 하심이라
12 Nowwe have received notthe spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God.
13 우리가 이것을 말하거니와 사람의 지혜가 가르친 말로 아니하고 오직 성령께서 가르치신 것으로 하니 영적인 일은 영적인 것으로 분별하느니라
13 And we impart thisin words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit,interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual.
14 육에 속한 사람은 하나님의 성령의 일들을 받지 아니하나니 이는 그것들이 그에게는 어리석게 보임이요, 또 그는 그것들을 알 수도 없나니 그러한 일은 영적으로 분별되기 때문이라
14 The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they arefolly to him, andhe is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.
15 신령한 자는 모든 것을 판단하나 자기는 아무에게도 판단을 받지 아니하느니라
15 Thespiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one.
16 누가 주의 마음을 알아서 주를 가르치겠느냐 그러나 우리가 그리스도의 마음을 가졌느니라
16 For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?Butwe have the mind of Christ.
