8장
1 아닥사스다 왕이 왕위에 있을 때에 나와 함께 바벨론에서 올라온 족장들과 그들의 계보는 이러하니라
1 These are the heads of their fathers' houses, and this is the genealogy of those who went up with me from Babylonia, in the reign of Artaxerxes the king:
2 비느하스 자손 중에서는 게르솜이요 이다말 자손 중에서는 다니엘이요 다윗 자손 중에서는 핫두스요
2 Of the sons of Phinehas, Gershom. Of the sons ofIthamar, Daniel. Of the sons of David,Hattush.
3 스가냐 자손 곧 바로스 자손 중에서는 스가랴니 그와 함께 족보에 기록된 남자가 백오십 명이요
3 Of the sons of Shecaniah, who was of the sons ofParosh, Zechariah, with whom were registered 150 men.
4 바핫모압 자손 중에서는 스라히야의 아들 엘여호에내니 그와 함께 있는 남자가 이백 명이요
4 Of the sons of Pahath-moab, Eliehoenai the son of Zerahiah, and with him 200 men.
5 스가냐 자손 중에서는 야하시엘의 아들이니 그와 함께 있는 남자가 삼백 명이요
5 Of the sons of Zattu,Shecaniah the son of Jahaziel, and with him 300 men.
6 아딘 자손 중에서는 요나단의 아들 에벳이니 그와 함께 있는 남자가 오십 명이요
6 Of the sons of Adin, Ebed the son of Jonathan, and with him 50 men.
7 엘람 자손 중에서는 아달리야의 아들 여사야니 그와 함께 있는 남자가 칠십 명이요
7 Of the sons of Elam, Jeshaiah the son of Athaliah, and with him 70 men.
8 스바댜 자손 중에서는 미가엘의 아들 스바댜니 그와 함께 있는 남자가 팔십 명이요
8 Of the sons of Shephatiah, Zebadiah the son of Michael, and with him 80 men.
9 요압 자손 중에서는 여히엘의 아들 오바댜니 그와 함께 있는 남자가 이백십팔 명이요
9 Of the sons of Joab, Obadiah the son of Jehiel, and with him 218 men.
10 슬로밋 자손 중에서는 요시뱌의 아들이니 그와 함께 있는 남자가 백육십 명이요
10 Of the sons of Bani,Shelomith the son of Josiphiah, and with him 160 men.
11 베배 자손 중에서는 베배의 아들 스가랴니 그와 함께 있는 남자가 이십팔 명이요
11 Of the sons of Bebai, Zechariah, the son of Bebai, and with him 28 men.
12 아스갓 자손 중에서는 학가단의 아들 요하난이니 그와 함께 있는 남자가 백십 명이요
12 Of the sons of Azgad, Johanan the son of Hakkatan, and with him 110 men.
13 아도니감 자손 중에 나중된 자의 이름은 엘리벨렛과 여우엘과 스마야니 그와 함께 있는 남자가 육십 명이요
13 Of the sons of Adonikam, those who came later, their names being Eliphelet, Jeuel, and Shemaiah, and with them 60 men.
14 비그왜 자손 중에서는 우대와 사붓이니 그와 함께 있는 남자가 칠십 명이었느니라
14 Of the sons of Bigvai, Uthai and Zaccur, and with them 70 men.
15 내가 무리를 아하와로 흐르는 강 가에 모으고 거기서 삼 일 동안 장막에 머물며 백성과 제사장들을 살핀즉 그 중에 레위 자손이 한 사람도 없는지라
15 I gathered them to the river that runs toAhava, and there we camped three days. As I reviewed the people and the priests, I found therenone of the sons of Levi.
16 이에 모든 족장 곧 엘리에셀과 아리엘과 스마야와 엘라단과 야립과 엘라단과 나단과 스가랴와 므술람을 부르고 또 명철한 사람 요야립과 엘라단을 불러
16 Then I sent for Eliezer, Ariel, Shemaiah, Elnathan, Jarib, Elnathan, Nathan, Zechariah, andMeshullam, leading men, and for Joiarib and Elnathan, who were men of insight,
17 가시뱌 지방으로 보내어 그 곳 족장 잇도에게 나아가게 하고 잇도와 그의 형제 곧 가시뱌 지방에 사는 느디님 사람들에게 할 말을 일러 주고 우리 하나님의 성전을 위하여 섬길 자를 데리고 오라 하였더니
17 and sent them to Iddo, the leading man at the place Casiphia, telling them what to say to Iddo and his brothers andthe temple servants at the place Casiphia, namely, to send us ministers for the house of our God.
18 우리 하나님의 선한 손의 도우심을 입고 그들이 이스라엘의 손자 레위의 아들 말리의 자손 중에서 한 명철한 사람을 데려오고 또 세레뱌와 그의 아들들과 형제 십팔 명과
18 Andby the good hand of our God on us, they brought us a man of discretion, of the sons ofMahli the son of Levi, son of Israel, namely Sherebiah with his sons and kinsmen, 18;
19 하사뱌와 므라리 자손 중 여사야와 그의 형제와 그의 아들들 이십 명을 데려오고
19 alsoHashabiah, and with him Jeshaiah ofthe sons of Merari, with his kinsmen and their sons, 20;
20 다윗과 방백들이 레위 사람들을 섬기라고 준 느디님 사람 중 성전 일꾼은 이백이십 명이었는데 그들은 모두 지명 받은 이들이었더라
20 besides 220 of the temple servants, whom David and his officials had set apart to attend the Levites. These were allmentioned by name.고린도전서
4장
14 내가 너희를 부끄럽게 하려고 이것을 쓰는 것이 아니라 오직 너희를 내 사랑하는 자녀 같이 권하려 하는 것이라
14 I do not write these thingsto make you ashamed, but to admonish youas my beloved children.
15 그리스도 안에서 일만 스승이 있으되 아버지는 많지 아니하니 그리스도 예수 안에서 내가 복음으로써 너희를 낳았음이라
15 Forthough you have countlessguides in Christ, you do not have many fathers. ForI became your father in Christ Jesus through the gospel.
16 그러므로 내가 너희에게 권하노니 너희는 나를 본받는 자가 되라
16 I urge you, then,be imitators of me.
17 이로 말미암아 내가 주 안에서 내 사랑하고 신실한 아들 디모데를 너희에게 보내었으니 그가 너희로 하여금 그리스도 예수 안에서 나의 행사 곧 내가 각처 각 교회에서 가르치는 것을 생각나게 하리라
17 That is whyI sentyou Timothy,my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, to remind you of my ways in Christ,as I teach them everywhere in every church.
18 어떤 이들은 내가 너희에게 나아가지 아니할 것 같이 스스로 교만하여졌으나
18 Some arearrogant,as though I were not coming to you.
19 주께서 허락하시면 내가 너희에게 속히 나아가서 교만한 자들의 말이 아니라 오직 그 능력을 알아보겠으니
19 ButI will come to you soon, if the Lord wills, and I will find out not the talk of these arrogant people but their power.
20 하나님의 나라는 말에 있지 아니하고 오직 능력에 있음이라
20 Forthe kingdom of God does not consist in talk but in power.
21 너희가 무엇을 원하느냐 내가 매를 가지고 너희에게 나아가랴 사랑과 온유한 마음으로 나아가랴
21 What do you wish?Shall I come to you with a rod, or with love in a spirit of gentleness?
