느헤미야
3장
15 샘문은 미스바 지방을 다스리는 골호세의 아들 살룬이 중수하여 문을 세우고 덮었으며 문짝을 달고 자물쇠와 빗장을 갖추고 또 왕의 동산 근처 셀라 못 가의 성벽을 중수하여 다윗 성에서 내려오는 층계까지 이르렀고
15 And Shallum the son of Col-hozeh, ruler of the district of Mizpah, repairedthe Fountain Gate. He rebuilt it and covered it andset its doors, its bolts, and its bars. And he built the wall ofthe Pool of Shelah ofthe king's garden, as far asthe stairs that go down from the city of David.
16 그 다음은 벧술 지방 절반을 다스리는 아스북의 아들 느헤미야가 중수하여 다윗의 묘실과 마주 대한 곳에 이르고 또 파서 만든 못을 지나 용사의 집까지 이르렀고
16 After him Nehemiah the son of Azbuk, ruler of half the district of Beth-zur, repaired to a point oppositethe tombs of David, as far asthe artificial pool, and as far as the house of the mighty men.
17 그 다음은 레위 사람 바니의 아들 르훔이 중수하였고 그 다음은 그일라 지방 절반을 다스리는 하사뱌가 그 지방을 대표하여 중수하였고
17 After him the Levites repaired: Rehum the son of Bani. Next to him Hashabiah, ruler of half the district of Keilah, repaired for his district.
18 그 다음은 그들의 형제들 가운데 그일라 지방 절반을 다스리는 헤나닷의 아들 바왜가 중수하였고
18 After him their brothers repaired: Bavvai the son of Henadad, ruler of half the district of Keilah.
19 그 다음은 미스바를 다스리는 예수아의 아들 에셀이 한 부분을 중수하여 성 굽이에 있는 군기고 맞은편까지 이르렀고
19 Next to him Ezer the son of Jeshua, ruler of Mizpah, repaired another section opposite the ascent to the armory atthe buttress.
20 그 다음은 삽배의 아들 바룩이 한 부분을 힘써 중수하여 성 굽이에서부터 대제사장 엘리아십의 집 문에 이르렀고
20 After him Baruch the son of Zabbai repaired another section from the buttress to the door of the house ofEliashib the high priest.
21 그 다음은 학고스의 손자 우리야의 아들 므레못이 한 부분을 중수하여 엘리아십의 집 문에서부터 엘리아십의 집 모퉁이에 이르렀고
21 After himMeremoth the son of Uriah, son of Hakkoz repaired another section from the door of the house of Eliashib to the end of the house of Eliashib.
22 그 다음은 평지에 사는 제사장들이 중수하였고
22 After him the priests, the men ofthe surrounding area, repaired.
23 그 다음은 베냐민과 핫숩이 자기 집 맞은편 부분을 중수하였고 그 다음은 아나냐의 손자 마아세야의 아들 아사랴가 자기 집에서 가까운 부분을 중수하였고
23 After them Benjamin and Hasshub repaired opposite their house. After them Azariah the son of Maaseiah, son of Ananiah repaired beside his own house.
24 그 다음은 헤나닷의 아들 빈누이가 한 부분을 중수하되 아사랴의 집에서부터 성 굽이를 지나 성 모퉁이에 이르렀고
24 After him Binnui the son of Henadad repaired another section, from the house of Azariah to the buttress
25 우새의 아들 발랄은 성 굽이 맞은편과 왕의 윗 궁에서 내민 망대 맞은편 곧 시위청에서 가까운 부분을 중수하였고 그 다음은 바로스의 아들 브다야가 중수하였고
25 and tothe corner. Palal the son of Uzai repaired opposite the buttress and the tower projecting from the upper house of the king atthe court of the guard. After him Pedaiah the son of Parosh
26 (그 때에 느디님 사람은 오벨에 거주하여 동쪽 수문과 마주 대한 곳에서부터 내민 망대까지 이르렀느니라)
26 and the temple servants living onOphel repaired to a point oppositethe Water Gate on the east and the projecting tower.
27 그 다음은 드고아 사람들이 한 부분을 중수하여 내민 큰 망대와 마주 대한 곳에서부터 오벨 성벽까지 이르렀느니라
27 After himthe Tekoites repaired another section opposite the great projecting tower as far as the wall of Ophel.
28 마문 위로부터는 제사장들이 각각 자기 집과 마주 대한 부분을 중수하였고
28 Abovethe Horse Gate the priests repaired, each one opposite his own house.
29 그 다음은 임멜의 아들 사독이 자기 집과 마주 대한 부분을 중수하였고 그 다음은 동문지기 스가냐의 아들 스마야가 중수하였고
29 After them Zadok the son of Immer repaired opposite his own house. After him Shemaiah the son of Shecaniah, the keeper of the East Gate, repaired.
30 그 다음은 셀레먀의 아들 하나냐와 살랍의 여섯째 아들 하눈이 한 부분을 중수하였고 그 다음은 베레갸의 아들 므술람이 자기의 방과 마주 대한 부분을 중수하였고
30 After him Hananiah the son of Shelemiah and Hanun the sixth son of Zalaph repaired another section. After himMeshullam the son of Berechiah repaired oppositehis chamber.
31 그 다음은 금장색 말기야가 함밉갓 문과 마주 대한 부분을 중수하여 느디님 사람과 상인들의 집에서부터 성 모퉁이 성루에 이르렀고
31 After him Malchijah, one of the goldsmiths, repaired as far as the house of the temple servants and of the merchants, opposite the Muster Gate,and to the upper chamber of the corner.
32 성 모퉁이 성루에서 양문까지는 금장색과 상인들이 중수하였느니라
32 And between the upper chamber of the corner andthe Sheep Gate the goldsmiths and the merchants repaired.
4장
1 산발랏이 우리가 성을 건축한다 함을 듣고 크게 분노하여 유다 사람들을 비웃으며
1 Now whenSanballat heard that we were building the wall, he was angry and greatly enraged, and he jeered at the Jews.
2 자기 형제들과 사마리아 군대 앞에서 일러 말하되 이 미약한 유다 사람들이 하는 일이 무엇인가, 스스로 견고하게 하려는가, 제사를 드리려는가, 하루에 일을 마치려는가 불탄 돌을 흙 무더기에서 다시 일으키려는가 하고
2 And he said in the presence of his brothers and of the army ofSamaria,What are these feeble Jews doing? Will they restore it for themselves?Will they sacrifice? Will they finish up in a day? Will they revive the stones out of the heaps of rubbish, and burned ones at that?
3 암몬 사람 도비야는 곁에 있다가 이르되 그들이 건축하는 돌 성벽은 여우가 올라가도 곧 무너지리라 하더라
3 Tobiah the Ammonite was beside him, and he said,Yes, what they are building&emdash;if a fox goes up on it he will break down their stone wall!
4 우리 하나님이여 들으시옵소서 우리가 업신여김을 당하나이다 원하건대 그들이 욕하는 것을 자기들의 머리에 돌리사 노략거리가 되어 이방에 사로잡히게 하시고
4 Hear, O our God, for we are despised.Turn back their taunt on their own heads and give them up to be plundered in a land where they are captives.
5 주 앞에서 그들의 악을 덮어 두지 마시며 그들의 죄를 도말하지 마옵소서 그들이 건축하는 자 앞에서 주를 노하시게 하였음이니이다 하고
5 Do not cover their guilt, and let not their sin be blotted out from your sight, for they have provoked you to anger in the presence of the builders.
6 이에 우리가 성을 건축하여 전부가 연결되고 높이가 절반에 이르렀으니 이는 백성이 마음 들여 일을 하였음이니라
6 So we built the wall. And all the wall was joined together to half its height, for the people had a mind to work.
7 산발랏과 도비야와 아라비아 사람들과 암몬 사람들과 아스돗 사람들이 예루살렘 성이 중수되어 그 허물어진 틈이 메꾸어져 간다 함을 듣고 심히 분노하여
7 But whenSanballat and Tobiah and the Arabs and the Ammonites and the Ashdodites heard that the repairing of the walls of Jerusalem was going forward and that the breaches were beginning to be closed, they were very angry.
8 다 함께 꾀하기를 예루살렘으로 가서 치고 그 곳을 요란하게 하자 하기로
8 And they all plotted together to come and fight against Jerusalem and to cause confusion in it.
9 우리가 우리 하나님께 기도하며 그들로 말미암아 파수꾼을 두어 주야로 방비하는데
9 And we prayed to our God and set a guard as a protection against them day and night.고린도전서
7장
25 처녀에 대하여는 내가 주께 받은 계명이 없으되 주의 자비하심을 받아서 충성스러운 자가 된 내가 의견을 말하노니
25 Now concerningthe betrothed,I have no command from the Lord, but I give my judgment asone who by the Lord's mercy istrustworthy.
26 내 생각에는 이것이 좋으니 곧 임박한 환난으로 말미암아 사람이 그냥 지내는 것이 좋으니라
26 I think that in view of the presentdistressit is good for a person to remain as he is.
27 네가 아내에게 매였느냐 놓이기를 구하지 말며 아내에게서 놓였느냐 아내를 구하지 말라
27 Are you bound to a wife? Do not seek to be free. Are you free from a wife? Do not seek a wife.
28 그러나 장가 가도 죄 짓는 것이 아니요 처녀가 시집 가도 죄 짓는 것이 아니로되 이런 이들은 육신에 고난이 있으리니 나는 너희를 아끼노라
28 But if you do marry, you have not sinned, and if a betrothed womanmarries, she has not sinned. Yet those who marry will have worldly troubles, and I would spare you that.
