느헤미야
9장
22 또 나라들과 족속들을 그들에게 각각 나누어 주시매 그들이 시혼의 땅 곧 헤스본 왕의 땅과 바산 왕 옥의 땅을 차지하였나이다
22 And you gave them kingdoms and peoples and allotted to them every corner.So they took possession of the land of Sihon king of Heshbonand the land of Og king of Bashan.
23 주께서 그들의 자손을 하늘의 별같이 많게 하시고 전에 그들의 열조에게 들어가서 차지하라고 말씀하신 땅으로 인도하여 이르게 하셨으므로
23 You multiplied their childrenas the stars of heaven, and you brought them into the land that you had told their fathers to enter and possess.
24 그 자손이 들어가서 땅을 차지하되 주께서 그 땅 가나안 주민들이 그들 앞에 복종하게 하실 때에 가나안 사람들과 그들의 왕들과 본토 여러 족속들을 그들의 손에 넘겨 임의로 행하게 하시매
24 So the descendants went in and possessed the land,and you subdued before them the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, and gave them into their hand, with their kings and the peoples of the land, that they might do with them as they would.
25 그들이 견고한 성읍들과 기름진 땅을 점령하고 모든 아름다운 물건이 가득한 집과 판 우물과 포도원과 감람원과 허다한 과목을 차지하여 배불리 먹어 살찌고 주의 큰 복을 즐겼사오나
25 And they capturedfortified cities anda rich land, and took possession ofhouses full of all good things, cisterns already hewn, vineyards, olive orchards and fruit trees in abundance. So they ate and were filledand became fat and delighted themselves inyour great goodness.
26 그들은 순종하지 아니하고 주를 거역하며 주의 율법을 등지고 주께로 돌아오기를 권면하는 선지자들을 죽여 주를 심히 모독하였나이다
26 Nevertheless, they were disobedient and rebelled against youand cast your law behind their backand killed your prophets, whohad warned them in order to turn them back to you,and they committed great blasphemies.
27 그러므로 주께서 그들을 대적의 손에 넘기사 그들이 곤고를 당하게 하시매 그들이 환난을 당하여 주께 부르짖을 때에 주께서 하늘에서 들으시고 주의 크신 긍휼로 그들에게 구원자들을 주어 그들을 대적의 손에서 구원하셨거늘
27 Therefore you gave them into the hand of their enemies, who made them suffer.And in the time of their suffering they cried out to you and you heard them from heaven, and according to your great mercies you gave themsaviors who saved them from the hand of their enemies.
28 그들이 평강을 얻은 후에 다시 주 앞에서 악을 행하므로 주께서 그들을 원수들의 손에 버려 두사 원수들에게 지배를 당하게 하시다가 그들이 돌이켜 주께 부르짖으매 주께서 하늘에서 들으시고 여러 번 주의 긍휼로 건져내시고
28 But after they had rest they did evil again before you, and you abandoned them to the hand of their enemies, so that they had dominion over them. Yet when they turned and cried to you, you heard from heaven,and many times you delivered them according to your mercies.
29 다시 주의 율법을 복종하게 하시려고 그들에게 경계하셨으나 그들이 교만하여 사람이 준행하면 그 가운데에서 삶을 얻는 주의 계명을 듣지 아니하며 주의 규례를 범하여 고집하는 어깨를 내밀며 목을 굳게 하여 듣지 아니하였나이다
29 And you warned them in order to turn them back to your law. Yetthey acted presumptuously and did not obey your commandments, but sinned against your rules,which if a person does them, he shall live by them,and they turned a stubborn shoulderand stiffened their neck and would not obey.
30 그러나 주께서 그들을 여러 해 동안 참으시고 또 주의 선지자들을 통하여 주의 영으로 그들을 경계하시되 그들이 듣지 아니하므로 열방 사람들의 손에 넘기시고도
30 Many yearsyou bore with themand warned themby your Spirit through your prophets.Yet they would not give ear.Therefore you gave them into the hand of the peoples of the lands.
31 주의 크신 긍휼로 그들을 아주 멸하지 아니하시며 버리지도 아니하셨사오니 주는 은혜로우시고 불쌍히 여기시는 하나님이심이니이다
31 Nevertheless,in your great merciesyou did not make an end of them or forsake them,for you are a gracious and merciful God.
32 우리 하나님이여 광대하시고 능하시고 두려우시며 언약과 인자하심을 지키시는 하나님이여 우리와 우리 왕들과 방백들과 제사장들과 선지자들과 조상들과 주의 모든 백성이 앗수르 왕들의 때로부터 오늘까지 당한 모든 환난을 이제 작게 여기지 마옵소서
32 Now, therefore, our God,the great, the mighty, and the awesome God, who keeps covenant and steadfast love, let not all the hardship seem little to you that has come upon us, upon our kings, our princes, our priests, our prophets, our fathers, and all your people,since the time of the kings of Assyria until this day.
33 그러나 우리가 당한 모든 일에 주는 공의로우시니 우리는 악을 행하였사오나 주께서는 진실하게 행하셨음이니이다
33 Yet you have been righteous in all that has come upon us, for you have dealt faithfullyand we have acted wickedly.
34 우리 왕들과 방백들과 제사장들과 조상들이 주의 율법을 지키지 아니하며 주의 명령과 주께서 그들에게 경계하신 말씀을 순종하지 아니하고
34 Our kings, our princes, our priests, and our fathers have not kept your law or paid attention to your commandments and your warnings that you gave them.
35 그들이 그 나라와 주께서 그들에게 베푸신 큰 복과 자기 앞에 주신 넓고 기름진 땅을 누리면서도 주를 섬기지 아니하며 악행을 그치지 아니하였으므로
35 Even in their own kingdom,and amid your great goodness that you gave them, and in the large andrich land that you set before them,they did not serve you or turn from their wicked works.
36 우리가 오늘날 종이 되었는데 곧 주께서 우리 조상들에게 주사 그것의 열매를 먹고 그것의 아름다운 소산을 누리게 하신 땅에서 우리가 종이 되었나이다
36 Behold,we are slaves this day; in the land that you gave to our fathers to enjoy its fruit and its good gifts, behold, we are slaves.
37 우리의 죄로 말미암아 주께서 우리 위에 세우신 이방 왕들이 이 땅의 많은 소산을 얻고 그들이 우리의 몸과 가축을 임의로 관할하오니 우리의 곤란이 심하오며
37 And its rich yield goes to the kings whom you have set over us because of our sins. They rule over our bodies and over our livestock as they please, and we are in great distress.
38 우리가 이 모든 일로 말미암아 이제 견고한 언약을 세워 기록하고 우리의 방백들과 레위 사람들과 제사장들이 다 인봉하나이다 하였느니라
38 Because of all thiswe make a firm covenant in writing; onthe sealed document are the names ofour princes, our Levites, and our priests.고린도전서
9장
19 내가 모든 사람에게서 자유로우나 스스로 모든 사람에게 종이 된 것은 더 많은 사람을 얻고자 함이라
19 Forthough I am free from all,I have made myself a servant to all, that I mightwin more of them.
20 유대인들에게 내가 유대인과 같이 된 것은 유대인들을 얻고자 함이요 율법 아래에 있는 자들에게는 내가 율법 아래에 있지 아니하나 율법 아래에 있는 자 같이 된 것은 율법 아래에 있는 자들을 얻고자 함이요
20 To the Jews I became as a Jew, in order to win Jews. To those under the law I became as one under the law (though not being myself under the law) that I might win those under the law.
21 율법 없는 자에게는 내가 하나님께는 율법 없는 자가 아니요 도리어 그리스도의 율법 아래에 있는 자이나 율법 없는 자와 같이 된 것은 율법 없는 자들을 얻고자 함이라
21 Tothose outside the law I becameas one outside the law (not being outside the law of God butunder the law of Christ) that I might win those outside the law.
22 약한 자들에게 내가 약한 자와 같이 된 것은 약한 자들을 얻고자 함이요 내가 여러 사람에게 여러 모습이 된 것은 아무쪼록 몇 사람이라도 구원하고자 함이니
22 To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak.I have become all things to all people, thatby all means I might save some.
23 내가 복음을 위하여 모든 것을 행함은 복음에 참여하고자 함이라
23 I do it all for the sake of the gospel,that I may share with them in its blessings.
24 운동장에서 달음질하는 자들이 다 달릴지라도 오직 상을 받는 사람은 한 사람인 줄을 너희가 알지 못하느냐 너희도 상을 받도록 이와 같이 달음질하라
24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receivesthe prize? Sorun that you may obtain it.
25 이기기를 다투는 자마다 모든 일에 절제하나니 그들은 썩을 승리자의 관을 얻고자 하되 우리는 썩지 아니할 것을 얻고자 하노라
25 Everyathlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but wean imperishable.
26 그러므로 나는 달음질하기를 향방 없는 것 같이 아니하고 싸우기를 허공을 치는 것 같이 아니하며
26 So I do not run aimlessly; Ido not box as onebeating the air.
27 내가 내 몸을 쳐 복종하게 함은 내가 남에게 전파한 후에 자신이 도리어 버림을 당할까 두려워함이로다
27 But I discipline my body andkeep it under control,lest after preaching to othersI myself should bedisqualified.
