호세야(Hosea)
5:8-7:16
8 너희가 기브아에서 뿔나팔을 불며 라마에서 나팔을 불며 벧아웬에서 외치기를 베냐민아 네 뒤를 쫓는다 할지어다
8 Sound the trumpet in Gibeah, the horn in Ramah. Raise the battle cry in Beth Aven ; lead on, O Benjamin.
9 벌하는 날에 에브라임이 황폐할 것이라 내가 이스라엘 지파 중에서 반드시 있을 일을 보였노라
9 Ephraim will be laid waste on the day of reckoning. Among the tribes of Israel I proclaim what is certain.
10 유다 지도자들은 경계표를 옮기는 자 같으니 내가 나의 진노를 그들에게 물 같이 부으리라
10 Judah`s leaders are like those who move boundary stones. I will pour out my wrath on them like a flood of water.
11 에브라임은 사람의 명령 뒤따르기를 좋아하므로 학대를 받고 재판의 압제를 받는도다
11 Ephraim is oppressed, trampled in judgment, intent on pursuing idols.
12 그러므로 내가 에브라임에게는 좀 같으며 유다 족속에게는 썩이는 것 같도다
12 I am like a moth to Ephraim, like rot to the people of Judah.
13 에브라임이 자기의 병을 깨달으며 유다가 자기의 상처를 깨달았고 에브라임은 앗수르로 가서 야렙 왕에게 사람을 보내었으나 그가 능히 너희를 고치지 못하겠고 너희 상처를 낫게 하지 못하리라
13 When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah his sores, then Ephraim turned to Assyria, and sent to the great king for help. But he is not able to cure you, not able to heal your sores.
14 내가 에브라임에게는 사자 같고 유다 족속에게는 젊은 사자 같으니 바로 내가 움켜갈지라 내가 탈취하여 갈지라도 건져낼 자가 없으리라
14 For I will be like a lion to Ephraim, like a great lion to Judah. I will tear them to pieces and go away; I will carry them off, with no one to rescue them.
15 그들이 그 죄를 뉘우치고 내 얼굴을 구하기까지 내가 내 곳으로 돌아가리라 그들이 고난 받을 때에 나를 간절히 구하리라
15 Then I will go back to my place until they admit their guilt. And they will seek my face; in their misery they will earnestly seek me."
6장
1 오라 우리가 여호와께로 돌아가자 여호와께서 우리를 찢으셨으나 도로 낫게 하실 것이요 우리를 치셨으나 싸매어 주실 것임이라
1 Come, let us return to the LORD. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds.
2 여호와께서 이틀 후에 우리를 살리시며 셋째 날에 우리를 일으키시리니 우리가 그의 앞에서 살리라
2 After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence.
3 그러므로 우리가 여호와를 알자 힘써 여호와를 알자 그의 나타나심은 새벽 빛 같이 어김없나니 비와 같이, 땅을 적시는 늦은 비와 같이 우리에게 임하시리라 하니라
3 Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth."
4 에브라임아 내가 네게 어떻게 하랴 유다야 내가 네게 어떻게 하랴 너희의 인애가 아침 구름이나 쉬 없어지는 이슬 같도다
4 What can I do with you, Ephraim? What can I do with you, Judah? Your love is like the morning mist, like the early dew that disappears.
5 그러므로 내가 선지자들로 그들을 치고 내 입의 말로 그들을 죽였노니 내 심판은 빛처럼 나오느니라
5 Therefore I cut you in pieces with my prophets, I killed you with the words of my mouth; my judgments flashed like lightning upon you.
6 나는 인애를 원하고 제사를 원하지 아니하며 번제보다 하나님을 아는 것을 원하노라
6 For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and acknowledgment of God rather than burnt offerings.
7 그들은 아담처럼 언약을 어기고 거기에서 나를 반역하였느니라
7 Like Adam, they have broken the covenant-- they were unfaithful to me there.
8 길르앗은 악을 행하는 자의 고을이라 피 발자국으로 가득 찼도다
8 Gilead is a city of wicked men, stained with footprints of blood.
9 강도 떼가 사람을 기다림 같이 제사장의 무리가 세겜 길에서 살인하니 그들이 사악을 행하였느니라
9 As marauders lie in ambush for a man, so do bands of priests; they murder on the road to Shechem, committing shameful crimes.
10 내가 이스라엘 집에서 가증한 일을 보았나니 거기서 에브라임은 음행하였고 이스라엘은 더럽혀졌느니라
10 I have seen a horrible thing in the house of Israel. There Ephraim is given to prostitution and Israel is defiled.
11 또한 유다여 내가 내 백성의 사로잡힘을 돌이킬 때에 네게도 추수할 일을 정하였느니라
11 Also for you, Judah, a harvest is appointed. Whenever I would restore the fortunes of my people,
7장
1 내가 이스라엘을 치료하려 할 때에 에브라임의 죄와 사마리아의 악이 드러나도다 그들은 거짓을 행하며 안으로 들어가 도둑질하고 밖으로 떼 지어 노략질하며
1 whenever I would heal Israel, the sins of Ephraim are exposed and the crimes of Samaria revealed. They practice deceit, thieves break into houses, bandits rob in the streets;
2 내가 모든 악을 기억하였음을 그들이 마음에 생각하지 아니하거니와 이제 그들의 행위가 그들을 에워싸고 내 얼굴 앞에 있도다
2 but they do not realize that I remember all their evil deeds. Their sins engulf them; they are always before me.
3 그들이 그 악으로 왕을, 그 거짓말로 지도자들을 기쁘게 하도다
3 They delight the king with their wickedness, the princes with their lies.
4 그들은 다 간음하는 자라 과자 만드는 자에 의해 달궈진 화덕과 같도다 그가 반죽을 뭉침으로 발효되기까지만 불 일으키기를 그칠 뿐이니라
4 They are all adulterers, burning like an oven whose fire the baker need not stir from the kneading of the dough till it rises.
5 우리 왕의 날에 지도자들은 술의 뜨거움으로 병이 나며 왕은 오만한 자들과 더불어 악수하는도다
5 On the day of the festival of our king the princes become inflamed with wine, and he joins hands with the mockers.
6 그들이 가까이 올 때에 그들의 마음은 간교하여 화덕 같으니 그들의 분노는 밤새도록 자고 아침에 피우는 불꽃 같도다
6 Their hearts are like an oven; they approach him with intrigue. Their passion smolders all night; in the morning it blazes like a flaming fire.
7 그들이 다 화덕 같이 뜨거워져서 그 재판장들을 삼키며 그들의 왕들을 다 엎드러지게 하며 그들 중에는 내게 부르짖는 자가 하나도 없도다
7 All of them are hot as an oven; they devour their rulers. All their kings fall, and none of them calls on me.
8 에브라임이 여러 민족 가운데에 혼합되니 그는 곧 뒤집지 않은 전병이로다
8 Ephraim mixes with the nations; Ephraim is a flat cake not turned over.
9 이방인들이 그의 힘을 삼켰으나 알지 못하고 백발이 무성할지라도 알지 못하는도다
9 Foreigners sap his strength, but he does not realize it. His hair is sprinkled with gray, but he does not notice.
10 이스라엘의 교만은 그 얼굴에 드러났나니 그들이 이 모든 일을 당하여도 그들의 하나님 여호와께로 돌아오지 아니하며 구하지 아니하도다
10 Israel`s arrogance testifies against him, but despite all this he does not return to the LORD his God or search for him.
11 에브라임은 어리석은 비둘기 같이 지혜가 없어서 애굽을 향하여 부르짖으며 앗수르로 가는도다
11 Ephraim is like a dove, easily deceived and senseless-- now calling to Egypt, now turning to Assyria.
12 그들이 갈 때에 내가 나의 그물을 그 위에 쳐서 공중의 새처럼 떨어뜨리고 전에 그 회중에 들려 준 대로 그들을 징계하리라
12 When they go, I will throw my net over them; I will pull them down like birds of the air. When I hear them flocking together, I will catch them.
13 화 있을진저 그들이 나를 떠나 그릇 갔음이니라 패망할진저 그들이 내게 범죄하였음이니라 내가 그들을 건져 주려 하나 그들이 나를 거슬러 거짓을 말하고
13 Woe to them, because they have strayed from me! Destruction to them, because they have rebelled against me! I long to redeem them but they speak lies against me.
14 성심으로 나를 부르지 아니하였으며 오직 침상에서 슬피 부르짖으며 곡식과 새 포도주로 말미암아 모이며 나를 거역하는도다
14 They do not cry out to me from their hearts but wail upon their beds. They gather together for grain and new wine but turn away from me.
15 내가 그들 팔을 연습시켜 힘 있게 하였으나 그들은 내게 대하여 악을 꾀하는도다
15 I trained them and strengthened them, but they plot evil against me.
16 그들은 돌아오나 높으신 자에게로 돌아오지 아니하니 속이는 활과 같으며 그들의 지도자들은 그 혀의 거친 말로 말미암아 칼에 엎드러지리니 이것이 애굽 땅에서 조롱거리가 되리라
16 They do not turn to the Most High; they are like a faulty bow. Their leaders will fall by the sword because of their insolent words. For this they will be ridiculed in the land of Egypt.시편 (Psalms)
911 지존자의 은밀한 곳에 거주하며 전능자의 그늘 아래에 사는 자여,
1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 나는 여호와를 향하여 말하기를 그는 나의 피난처요 나의 요새요 내가 의뢰하는 하나님이라 하리니
2 I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."
3 이는 그가 너를 새 사냥꾼의 올무에서와 심한 전염병에서 건지실 것임이로다
3 Surely he will save you from the fowler`s snare and from the deadly pestilence.
4 그가 너를 그의 깃으로 덮으시리니 네가 그의 날개 아래에 피하리로다 그의 진실함은 방패와 손 방패가 되시나니
4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5 너는 밤에 찾아오는 공포와 낮에 날아드는 화살과
5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 어두울 때 퍼지는 전염병과 밝을 때 닥쳐오는 재앙을 두려워하지 아니하리로다
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7 천 명이 네 왼쪽에서, 만 명이 네 오른쪽에서 엎드러지나 이 재앙이 네게 가까이 하지 못하리로다
7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.
8 오직 너는 똑똑히 보리니 악인들의 보응을 네가 보리로다
8 You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 네가 말하기를 여호와는 나의 피난처시라 하고 지존자를 너의 거처로 삼았으므로
9 If you make the Most High your dwelling-- even the LORD, who is my refuge-
10 화가 네게 미치지 못하며 재앙이 네 장막에 가까이 오지 못하리니
10 then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent.
11 그가 너를 위하여 그의 천사들을 명령하사 네 모든 길에서 너를 지키게 하심이라
11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;
12 그들이 그들의 손으로 너를 붙들어 발이 돌에 부딪히지 아니하게 하리로다
12 they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 네가 사자와 독사를 밟으며 젊은 사자와 뱀을 발로 누르리로다
13 You will tread upon the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
14 하나님이 이르시되 그가 나를 사랑한즉 내가 그를 건지리라 그가 내 이름을 안즉 내가 그를 높이리라
14 Because he loves me, says the LORD, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 그가 내게 간구하리니 내가 그에게 응답하리라 그들이 환난 당할 때에 내가 그와 함께 하여 그를 건지고 영화롭게 하리라
15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.
16 내가 그를 장수하게 함으로 그를 만족하게 하며 나의 구원을 그에게 보이리라 하시도다
16 With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation."
