호세야(Hosea)
11:1-11
1 이스라엘이 어렸을 때에 내가 사랑하여 내 아들을 애굽에서 불러냈거늘
1 When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son.
2 선지자들이 그들을 부를수록 그들은 점점 멀리하고 바알들에게 제사하며 아로새긴 우상 앞에서 분향하였느니라
2 But the more I called Israel, the further they went from me. They sacrificed to the Baals and they burned incense to images.
3 그러나 내가 에브라임에게 걸음을 가르치고 내 팔로 안았음에도 내가 그들을 고치는 줄을 그들은 알지 못하였도다
3 It was I who taught Ephraim to walk, taking them by the arms; but they did not realize it was I who healed them.
4 내가 사람의 줄 곧 사랑의 줄로 그들을 이끌었고 그들에게 대하여 그 목에서 멍에를 벗기는 자 같이 되었으며 그들 앞에 먹을 것을 두었노라
4 I led them with cords of human kindness, with ties of love; I lifted the yoke from their neck and bent down to feed them.
5 그들은 애굽 땅으로 되돌아 가지 못하겠거늘 내게 돌아 오기를 싫어하니 앗수르 사람이 그 임금이 될 것이라
5 Will they not return to Egypt and will not Assyria rule over them because they refuse to repent?
6 칼이 그들의 성읍들을 치며 빗장을 깨뜨려 없이하리니 이는 그들의 계책으로 말미암음이니라
6 Swords will flash in their cities, will destroy the bars of their gates and put an end to their plans.
7 내 백성이 끝끝내 내게서 물러가나니 비록 그들을 불러 위에 계신 이에게로 돌아오라 할지라도 일어나는 자가 하나도 없도다
7 My people are determined to turn from me. Even if they call to the Most High, he will by no means exalt them.
8 에브라임이여 내가 어찌 너를 놓겠느냐 이스라엘이여 내가 어찌 너를 버리겠느냐 내가 어찌 너를 아드마 같이 놓겠느냐 어찌 너를 스보임 같이 두겠느냐 내 마음이 내 속에서 돌이키어 나의 긍휼이 온전히 불붙듯 하도다
8 How can I give you up, Ephraim? How can I hand you over, Israel? How can I treat you like Admah? How can I make you like Zeboiim? My heart is changed within me; all my compassion is aroused.
9 내가 나의 맹렬한 진노를 나타내지 아니하며 내가 다시는 에브라임을 멸하지 아니하리니 이는 내가 하나님이요 사람이 아님이라 네 가운데 있는 거룩한 이니 진노함으로 네게 임하지 아니하리라
9 I will not carry out my fierce anger, nor will I turn and devastate Ephraim. For I am God, and not man-- the Holy One among you. I will not come in wrath.
10 그들은 사자처럼 소리를 내시는 여호와를 따를 것이라 여호와께서 소리를 내시면 자손들이 서쪽에서부터 떨며 오되
10 They will follow the LORD; he will roar like a lion. When he roars, his children will come trembling from the west.
11 그들은 애굽에서부터 새 같이, 앗수르에서부터 비둘기 같이 떨며 오리니 내가 그들을 그들의 집에 머물게 하리라 나 여호와의 말이니라
11 They will come trembling like birds from Egypt, like doves from Assyria. I will settle them in their homes," declares the LORD.시편 (Psalms)
941 여호와여 복수하시는 하나님이여 복수하시는 하나님이여 빛을 비추어 주소서
1 O LORD, the God who avenges, O God who avenges, shine forth.
2 세계를 심판하시는 주여 일어나사 교만한 자들에게 마땅한 벌을 주소서
2 Rise up, O Judge of the earth; pay back to the proud what they deserve.
3 여호와여 악인이 언제까지, 악인이 언제까지 개가를 부르리이까
3 How long will the wicked, O LORD, how long will the wicked be jubilant?
4 그들이 마구 지껄이며 오만하게 떠들며 죄악을 행하는 자들이 다 자만하나이다
4 They pour out arrogant words; all the evildoers are full of boasting.
5 여호와여 그들이 주의 백성을 짓밟으며 주의 소유를 곤고하게 하며
5 They crush your people, O LORD; they oppress your inheritance.
6 과부와 나그네를 죽이며 고아들을 살해하며
6 They slay the widow and the alien; they murder the fatherless.
7 말하기를 여호와가 보지 못하며 야곱의 하나님이 알아차리지 못하리라 하나이다
7 They say, "The LORD does not see; the God of Jacob pays no heed."
8 백성 중의 어리석은 자들아 너희는 생각하라 무지한 자들아 너희가 언제나 지혜로울까
8 Take heed, you senseless ones among the people; you fools, when will you become wise?
9 귀를 지으신 이가 듣지 아니하시랴 눈을 만드신 이가 보지 아니하시랴
9 Does he who implanted the ear not hear? Does he who formed the eye not see?
10 뭇 백성을 징벌하시는 이 곧 지식으로 사람을 교훈하시는 이가 징벌하지 아니하시랴
10 Does he who disciplines nations not punish? Does he who teaches man lack knowledge?
11 여호와께서는 사람의 생각이 허무함을 아시느니라
11 The LORD knows the thoughts of man; he knows that they are futile.
12 여호와여 주로부터 징벌을 받으며 주의 법으로 교훈하심을 받는 자가 복이 있나니
12 Blessed is the man you discipline, O LORD, the man you teach from your law;
13 이런 사람에게는 환난의 날을 피하게 하사 악인을 위하여 구덩이를 팔 때까지 평안을 주시리이다
13 you grant him relief from days of trouble, till a pit is dug for the wicked.
14 여호와께서는 자기 백성을 버리지 아니하시며 자기의 소유를 외면하지 아니하시리로다
14 For the LORD will not reject his people; he will never forsake his inheritance.
15 심판이 의로 돌아가리니 마음이 정직한 자가 다 따르리로다
15 Judgment will again be founded on righteousness, and all the upright in heart will follow it.
16 누가 나를 위하여 일어나서 행악자들을 치며 누가 나를 위하여 일어나서 악행하는 자들을 칠까
16 Who will rise up for me against the wicked? Who will take a stand for me against evildoers?
17 여호와께서 내게 도움이 되지 아니하셨더면 내 영혼이 벌써 침묵 속에 잠겼으리로다
17 Unless the LORD had given me help, I would soon have dwelt in the silence of death.
18 여호와여 나의 발이 미끄러진다고 말할 때에 주의 인자하심이 나를 붙드셨사오며
18 When I said, "My foot is slipping," your love, O LORD, supported me.
19 내 속에 근심이 많을 때에 주의 위안이 내 영혼을 즐겁게 하시나이다
19 When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul.
20 율례를 빙자하고 재난을 꾸미는 악한 재판장이 어찌 주와 어울리리이까
20 Can a corrupt throne be allied with you-- one that brings on misery by its decrees?
21 그들이 모여 의인의 영혼을 치려 하며 무죄한 자를 정죄하여 피를 흘리려 하나
21 They band together against the righteous and condemn the innocent to death.
22 여호와는 나의 요새이시요 나의 하나님은 내가 피할 반석이시라
22 But the LORD has become my fortress, and my God the rock in whom I take refuge.
23 그들의 죄악을 그들에게로 되돌리시며 그들의 악으로 말미암아 그들을 끊으시리니 여호와 우리 하나님이 그들을 끊으시리로다
23 He will repay them for their sins and destroy them for their wickedness; the LORD our God will destroy them.
