아모스 (Amos)
7
1 주 여호와께서 내게 보이신 것이 이러하니라 왕이 풀을 벤 후 풀이 다시 움돋기 시작할 때에 주께서 메뚜기를 지으시매
1 This is what the Sovereign LORD showed me: He was preparing swarms of locusts after the king`s share had been harvested and just as the second crop was coming up.
2 메뚜기가 땅의 풀을 다 먹은지라 내가 이르되 주 여호와여 청하건대 사하소서 야곱이 미약하오니 어떻게 서리이까 하매
2 When they had stripped the land clean, I cried out, "Sovereign LORD, forgive! How can Jacob survive? He is so small!"
3 여호와께서 이에 대하여 뜻을 돌이키셨으므로 이것이 이루어지지 아니하리라 여호와께서 말씀하셨느니라
3 So the LORD relented. "This will not happen," the LORD said.
4 주 여호와께서 또 내게 보이신 것이 이러하니라 주 여호와께서 명령하여 불로 징벌하게 하시니 불이 큰 바다를 삼키고 육지까지 먹으려 하는지라
4 This is what the Sovereign LORD showed me: The Sovereign LORD was calling for judgment by fire; it dried up the great deep and devoured the land.
5 이에 내가 이르되 주 여호와여 청하건대 그치소서 야곱이 미약하오니 어떻게 서리이까 하매
5 Then I cried out, "Sovereign LORD, I beg you, stop! How can Jacob survive? He is so small!"
6 주 여호와께서 이에 대하여 뜻을 돌이켜 주 여호와께서 이르시되 이것도 이루지 아니하리라 하시니라
6 So the LORD relented. "This will not happen either," the Sovereign LORD said.
7 또 내게 보이신 것이 이러하니라 다림줄을 가지고 쌓은 담 곁에 주께서 손에 다림줄을 잡고 서셨더니
7 This is what he showed me: The Lord was standing by a wall that had been built true to plumb, with a plumb line in his hand.
8 여호와께서 내게 이르시되 아모스야 네가 무엇을 보느냐 내가 대답하되 다림줄이니이다 주께서 이르시되 내가 다림줄을 내 백성 이스라엘 가운데 두고 다시는 용서하지 아니하리니
8 And the LORD asked me, "What do you see, Amos?" "A plumb line," I replied. Then the Lord said, "Look, I am setting a plumb line among my people Israel; I will spare them no longer.
9 이삭의 산당들이 황폐되며 이스라엘의 성소들이 파괴될 것이라 내가 일어나 칼로 여로보암의 집을 치리라 하시니라
9 The high places of Isaac will be destroyed and the sanctuaries of Israel will be ruined; with my sword I will rise against the house of Jeroboam.
10 때에 벧엘의 제사장 아마샤가 이스라엘의 왕 여로보암에게 보내어 이르되 이스라엘 족속 중에 아모스가 왕을 모반하나니 그 모든 말을 이 땅이 견딜 수 없나이다
10 Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent a message to Jeroboam king of Israel: "Amos is raising a conspiracy against you in the very heart of Israel. The land cannot bear all his words.
11 아모스가 말하기를 여로보암은 칼에 죽겠고 이스라엘은 반드시 사로잡혀 그 땅에서 떠나겠다 하나이다
11 For this is what Amos is saying: " `Jeroboam will die by the sword, and Israel will surely go into exile, away from their native land.` "
12 아마샤가 또 아모스에게 이르되 선견자야 너는 유다 땅으로 도망하여 가서 거기에서나 떡을 먹으며 거기에서나 예언하고
12 Then Amaziah said to Amos, "Get out, you seer! Go back to the land of Judah. Earn your bread there and do your prophesying there.
13 다시는 벧엘에서 예언하지 말라 이는 왕의 성소요 나라의 궁궐임이니라
13 Don`t prophesy anymore at Bethel, because this is the king`s sanctuary and the temple of the kingdom."
14 아모스가 아마샤에게 대답하여 이르되 나는 선지자가 아니며 선지자의 아들도 아니라 나는 목자요 뽕나무를 재배하는 자로서
14 Amos answered Amaziah, "I was neither a prophet nor a prophet`s son, but I was a shepherd, and I also took care of sycamore-fig trees.
15 양 떼를 따를 때에 여호와께서 나를 데려다가 여호와께서 내게 이르시기를 가서 내 백성 이스라엘에게 예언하라 하셨나니
15 But the LORD took me from tending the flock and said to me, `Go, prophesy to my people Israel.`
16 이제 너는 여호와의 말씀을 들을지니라 네가 이르기를 이스라엘에 대하여 예언하지 말며 이삭의 집을 향하여 경고하지 말라 하므로
16 Now then, hear the word of the LORD. You say, " `Do not prophesy against Israel, and stop preaching against the house of Isaac.`
17 여호와께서 이와 같이 말씀하시기를 네 아내는 성읍 가운데서 창녀가 될 것이요 네 자녀들은 칼에 엎드러지며 네 땅은 측량하여 나누어질 것이며 너는 더러운 땅에서 죽을 것이요 이스라엘은 반드시 사로잡혀 그의 땅에서 떠나리라 하셨느니라
17 Therefore this is what the LORD says: `Your wife will become a prostitute in the city, and your sons and daughters will fall by the sword. Your land will be measured and divided up, and you yourself will die in a pagan country. And Israel will certainly go into exile, away from their native land.` "시편 (Psalms)
1051 여호와께 감사하고 그의 이름을 불러 아뢰며 그가 하는 일을 만민 중에 알게 할지어다
1 Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done.
2 그에게 노래하며 그를 찬양하며 그의 모든 기이한 일들을 말할지어다
2 Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts.
3 그의 거룩한 이름을 자랑하라 여호와를 구하는 자들은 마음이 즐거울지로다
3 Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice.
4 여호와와 그의 능력을 구할지어다 그의 얼굴을 항상 구할지어다
4 Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always.
5 그의 종 아브라함의 후손 곧 택하신 야곱의 자손 너희는 그가 행하신 기적과 그의 이적과 그의 입의 판단을 기억할지어다
5 Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced,
6
6 O descendants of Abraham his servant, O sons of Jacob, his chosen ones.
7 그는 여호와 우리 하나님이시라 그의 판단이 온 땅에 있도다
7 He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth.
8 그는 그의 언약 곧 천 대에 걸쳐 명령하신 말씀을 영원히 기억하셨으니
8 He remembers his covenant forever, the word he commanded, for a thousand generations,
9 이것은 아브라함과 맺은 언약이고 이삭에게 하신 맹세이며
9 the covenant he made with Abraham, the oath he swore to Isaac.
10 야곱에게 세우신 율례 곧 이스라엘에게 하신 영원한 언약이라
10 He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant:
11 이르시기를 내가 가나안 땅을 네게 주어 너희에게 할당된 소유가 되게 하리라 하셨도다
11 To you I will give the land of Canaan as the portion you will inherit.
12 그 때에 그들의 사람 수가 적어 그 땅의 나그네가 되었고
12 When they were but few in number, few indeed, and strangers in it,
13 이 족속에게서 저 족속에게로, 이 나라에서 다른 민족에게로 떠돌아다녔도다
13 they wandered from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another.
14 그러나 그는 사람이 그들을 억압하는 것을 용납하지 아니하시고 그들로 말미암아 왕들을 꾸짖어
14 He allowed no one to oppress them; for their sake he rebuked kings:
15 이르시기를 나의 기름 부은 자를 손대지 말며 나의 선지자들을 해하지 말라 하셨도다
15 Do not touch my anointed ones; do my prophets no harm.
16 그가 또 그 땅에 기근이 들게 하사 그들이 의지하고 있는 양식을 다 끊으셨도다
16 He called down famine on the land and destroyed all their supplies of food;
17 그가 한 사람을 앞서 보내셨음이여 요셉이 종으로 팔렸도다
17 and he sent a man before them-- Joseph, sold as a slave.
18 그의 발은 차꼬를 차고 그의 몸은 쇠사슬에 매였으니
18 They bruised his feet with shackles, his neck was put in irons,
19 곧 여호와의 말씀이 응할 때까지라 그의 말씀이 그를 단련하였도다
19 till what he foretold came to pass, till the word of the LORD proved him true.
20 왕이 사람을 보내어 그를 석방함이여 뭇 백성의 통치자가 그를 자유롭게 하였도다
20 The king sent and released him, the ruler of peoples set him free.
21 그를 그의 집의 주관자로 삼아 그의 모든 소유를 관리하게 하고
21 He made him master of his household, ruler over all he possessed,
22 그의 뜻대로 모든 신하를 다스리며 그의 지혜로 장로들을 교훈하게 하였도다
22 to instruct his princes as he pleased and teach his elders wisdom.
23 이에 이스라엘이 애굽에 들어감이여 야곱이 함의 땅에 나그네가 되었도다
23 Then Israel entered Egypt; Jacob lived as an alien in the land of Ham.
24 여호와께서 자기의 백성을 크게 번성하게 하사 그의 대적들보다 강하게 하셨으며
24 The LORD made his people very fruitful; he made them too numerous for their foes,
25 또 그 대적들의 마음이 변하게 하여 그의 백성을 미워하게 하시며 그의 종들에게 교활하게 행하게 하셨도다
25 whose hearts he turned to hate his people, to conspire against his servants.
26 그리하여 그는 그의 종 모세와 그의 택하신 아론을 보내시니
26 He sent Moses his servant, and Aaron, whom he had chosen.
27 그들이 그들의 백성 중에서 여호와의 표적을 보이고 함의 땅에서 징조들을 행하였도다
27 They performed his miraculous signs among them, his wonders in the land of Ham.
28 여호와께서 흑암을 보내사 그곳을 어둡게 하셨으나 그들은 그의 말씀을 지키지 아니하였도다
28 He sent darkness and made the land dark-- for had they not rebelled against his words?
29 그들의 물도 변하여 피가 되게 하사 그들의 물고기를 죽이셨도다
29 He turned their waters into blood, causing their fish to die.
30 그 땅에 개구리가 많아져서 왕의 궁실에도 있었도다
30 Their land teemed with frogs, which went up into the bedrooms of their rulers.
31 여호와께서 말씀하신즉 파리 떼가 오며 그들의 온 영토에 이가 생겼도다
31 He spoke, and there came swarms of flies, and gnats throughout their country.
32 비 대신 우박을 내리시며 그들의 땅에 화염을 내리셨도다
32 He turned their rain into hail, with lightning throughout their land;
33 그들의 포도나무와 무화과나무를 치시며 그들의 지경에 있는 나무를 찍으셨도다
33 he struck down their vines and fig trees and shattered the trees of their country.
34 여호와께서 말씀하신즉 황충과 수많은 메뚜기가 몰려와
34 He spoke, and the locusts came, grasshoppers without number;
35 그들의 땅에 있는 모든 채소를 먹으며 그들의 밭에 있는 열매를 먹었도다
35 they ate up every green thing in their land, ate up the produce of their soil.
36 또 여호와께서 그들의 기력의 시작인 그 땅의 모든 장자를 치셨도다
36 Then he struck down all the firstborn in their land, the firstfruits of all their manhood.
37 마침내 그들을 인도하여 은 금을 가지고 나오게 하시니 그의 지파 중에 비틀거리는 자가 하나도 없었도다
37 He brought out Israel, laden with silver and gold, and from among their tribes no one faltered.
38 그들이 떠날 때에 애굽이 기뻐하였으니 그들이 그들을 두려워함이로다
38 Egypt was glad when they left, because dread of Israel had fallen on them.
39 여호와께서 낮에는 구름을 펴사 덮개를 삼으시고 밤에는 불로 밝히셨으며
39 He spread out a cloud as a covering, and a fire to give light at night.
40 그들이 구한즉 메추라기를 가져 오시고 또 하늘의 양식으로 그들을 만족하게 하셨도다
40 They asked, and he brought them quail and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
41 반석을 여신즉 물이 흘러나와 마른 땅에 강 같이 흘렀으니
41 He opened the rock, and water gushed out; like a river it flowed in the desert.
42 이는 그의 거룩한 말씀과 그의 종 아브라함을 기억하셨음이로다
42 For he remembered his holy promise given to his servant Abraham.
43 그의 백성이 즐겁게 나오게 하시며 그의 택한 자는 노래하며 나오게 하시고
43 He brought out his people with rejoicing, his chosen ones with shouts of joy;
44 여러 나라의 땅을 그들에게 주시며 민족들이 수고한 것을 소유로 가지게 하셨으니
44 he gave them the lands of the nations, and they fell heir to what others had toiled for-
45 이는 그들이 그의 율례를 지키고 그의 율법을 따르게 하려 하심이로다 할렐루야
45 that they might keep his precepts and observe his laws. Praise the LORD.
