욥기
18장
1 수아 사람 빌닷이 대답하여 이르되
1 ThenBildad the Shuhite answered and said:
2 너희가 어느 때에 가서 말의 끝을 맺겠느냐 깨달으라 그 후에야 우리가 말하리라
2 How long will youhunt for words?Consider, and then we will speak.
3 어찌하여 우리를 짐승으로 여기며 부정하게 보느냐
3 Why are we counted ascattle?Why are we stupid in your sight?
4 울분을 터뜨리며 자기 자신을 찢는 사람아 너 때문에 땅이 버림을 받겠느냐 바위가 그 자리에서 옮겨지겠느냐
4 You whotear yourself in your anger,shall the earth be forsaken for you,orthe rock be removed out of its place?
5 악인의 빛은 꺼지고 그의 불꽃은 빛나지 않을 것이요
5 Indeed,the light of the wicked is put out,and the flame of his fire does not shine.
6 그의 장막 안의 빛은 어두워지고 그 위의 등불은 꺼질 것이요
6 The light isdark in his tent,and his lamp above him is put out.
7 그의 활기찬 걸음이 피곤하여지고 그가 마련한 꾀에 스스로 빠질 것이니
7 His strong steps are shortened,and hisown schemes throw him down.
8 이는 그의 발이 그물에 빠지고 올가미에 걸려들며
8 For he is cast into a net by his own feet,and he walks on its mesh.
9 그의 발 뒤꿈치는 덫에 치이고 그의 몸은 올무에 얽힐 것이며
9 A trap seizes him by the heel;a snare lays hold of him.
10 그를 잡을 덫이 땅에 숨겨져 있고 그를 빠뜨릴 함정이 길목에 있으며
10 A rope is hidden for him in the ground,a trap for him in the path.
11 무서운 것이 사방에서 그를 놀라게 하고 그 뒤를 쫓아갈 것이며
11 Terrors frighten him on every side,and chase him at his heels.
12 그의 힘은 기근으로 말미암아 쇠하고 그 곁에는 재앙이 기다릴 것이며
12 His strength is famished,and calamity isready for his stumbling.
13 질병이 그의 피부를 삼키리니 곧 사망의 장자가 그의 지체를 먹을 것이며
13 It consumes the parts of his skin;the firstborn of death consumes his limbs.
14 그가 의지하던 것들이 장막에서 뽑히며 그는 공포의 왕에게로 잡혀가고
14 He is torn from the tent in which he trustedand is brought tothe king of terrors.
15 그에게 속하지 않은 자가 그의 장막에 거하리니 유황이 그의 처소에 뿌려질 것이며
15 In his tent dwells that which is none of his;sulfur is scattered over his habitation.
16 밑으로 그의 뿌리가 마르고 위로는 그의 가지가 시들 것이며
16 Hisroots dry up beneath,and his brancheswither above.
17 그를 기념함이 땅에서 사라지고 거리에서는 그의 이름이 전해지지 않을 것이며
17 Hismemory perishes from the earth,and he has no name in the street.
18 그는 광명으로부터 흑암으로 쫓겨 들어가며 세상에서 쫓겨날 것이며
18 He is thrust from light into darkness,and driven out of the world.
19 그는 그의 백성 가운데 후손도 없고 후예도 없을 것이며 그가 거하던 곳에는 남은 자가 한 사람도 없을 것이라
19 He has noposterity or progeny among his people,and no survivor where he used to live.
20 그의 운명에 서쪽에서 오는 자와 동쪽에서 오는 자가 깜짝 놀라리라
20 They of the west are appalled at hisday,andhorror seizes them of the east.
21 참으로 불의한 자의 집이 이러하고 하나님을 알지 못하는 자의 처소도 이러하니라
21 Surely such are the dwellings of the unrighteous,such is the place of him whoknows not God.
19장
1 욥이 대답하여 이르되
1 Then Job answered and said:
2 너희가 내 마음을 괴롭히며 말로 나를 짓부수기를 어느 때까지 하겠느냐
2 How long will you torment meand break me in pieces with words?
3 너희가 열 번이나 나를 학대하고도 부끄러워 아니하는구나
3 Theseten times you have cast reproach upon me;are you not ashamed to wrong me?
4 비록 내게 허물이 있다 할지라도 그 허물이 내게만 있느냐
4 And even if it be true that I have erred,my error remains with myself.
5 너희가 참으로 나를 향하여 자만하며 내게 수치스러운 행위가 있다고 증언하려면 하려니와
5 If indeed youmagnify yourselves against meand make my disgrace an argument against me,
6 하나님이 나를 억울하게 하시고 자기 그물로 나를 에워싸신 줄을 알아야 할지니라
6 know then that God hasput me in the wrongand closed his net about me.
7 내가 폭행을 당한다고 부르짖으나 응답이 없고 도움을 간구하였으나 정의가 없구나
7 Behold, Icry out,Violence!but I am not answered;I call for help, but there is no justice.
8 그가 내 길을 막아 지나가지 못하게 하시고 내 앞길에 어둠을 두셨으며
8 He haswalled up my way, so that I cannot pass,and he has set darkness upon my paths.
9 나의 영광을 거두어가시며 나의 관모를 머리에서 벗기시고
9 He hasstripped from me my gloryand taken thecrown from my head.
10 사면으로 나를 헐으시니 나는 죽었구나 내 희망을 나무 뽑듯 뽑으시고
10 He breaks me down on every side, and Iam gone,and my hope has he pulled up like a tree.
11 나를 향하여 진노하시고 원수 같이 보시는구나
11 He has kindled his wrath against meandcounts me as his adversary.
12 그 군대가 일제히 나아와서 길을 돋우고 나를 치며 내 장막을 둘러 진을 쳤구나
12 Histroops come on together;they havecast up their siege rampagainst meand encamp around my tent.
13 나의 형제들이 나를 멀리 떠나게 하시니 나를 아는 모든 사람이 내게 낯선 사람이 되었구나
13 He has put mybrothers far from me,andthose who knew me are wholly estranged from me.
14 내 친척은 나를 버렸으며 가까운 친지들은 나를 잊었구나
14 My relativeshave failed me,my closefriends have forgotten me.
15 내 집에 머물러 사는 자와 내 여종들은 나를 낯선 사람으로 여기니 내가 그들 앞에서 타국 사람이 되었구나
15 The guestsin my house and my maidservants count me as a stranger;I have become a foreigner in their eyes.
16 내가 내 종을 불러도 대답하지 아니하니 내 입으로 그에게 간청하여야 하겠구나
16 I call to my servant, but he gives me no answer;I must plead with him with my mouth for mercy.
17 내 아내도 내 숨결을 싫어하며 내 허리의 자식들도 나를 가련하게 여기는구나
17 My breath is strange to mywife,and I am a stench to the children ofmy own mother.
18 어린 아이들까지도 나를 업신여기고 내가 일어나면 나를 조롱하는구나
18 Even youngchildren despise me;when I rise they talk against me.
19 나의 가까운 친구들이 나를 미워하며 내가 사랑하는 사람들이 돌이켜 나의 원수가 되었구나
19 All myintimate friends abhor me,and those whom I loved have turned against me.
20 내 피부와 살이 뼈에 붙었고 남은 것은 겨우 잇몸 뿐이로구나
20 Mybones stick to my skin and to my flesh,and I have escaped by the skin of my teeth.
21 나의 친구야 너희는 나를 불쌍히 여겨다오 나를 불쌍히 여겨다오 하나님의 손이 나를 치셨구나
21 Have mercy on me, have mercy on me, O you my friends,for the hand of God hastouched me!
22 너희가 어찌하여 하나님처럼 나를 박해하느냐 내 살로도 부족하냐
22 Why do you, like God,pursue me?Why are you not satisfied with my flesh?
23 나의 말이 곧 기록되었으면, 책에 씌어졌으면,
23 Oh that my words were written!Oh that they wereinscribed in a book!
24 철필과 납으로 영원히 돌에 새겨졌으면 좋겠노라
24 Oh that with an ironpen and leadthey were engraved in the rock forever!
25 내가 알기에는 나의 대속자가 살아 계시니 마침내 그가 땅 위에 서실 것이라
25 For Iknow that myRedeemer lives,and at the last he will stand upon theearth.
26 내 가죽이 벗김을 당한 뒤에도 내가 육체 밖에서 하나님을 보리라
26 And after my skin has been thus destroyed,yet inmy flesh I shallsee God,
27 내가 그를 보리니 내 눈으로 그를 보기를 낯선 사람처럼 하지 않을 것이라 내 마음이 초조하구나
27 whom I shall see for myself,and my eyes shall behold, and notanother.My heartfaints within me!
28 너희가 만일 이르기를 우리가 그를 어떻게 칠까 하며 또 이르기를 일의 뿌리가 그에게 있다 할진대
28 If you say,How we willpursue him!and,The root of the matter is found in him,
29 너희는 칼을 두려워 할지니라 분노는 칼의 형벌을 부르나니 너희가 심판장이 있는 줄을 알게 되리라
29 be afraid of the sword,for wrath brings the punishment of the sword,that you may know there isa judgment.고린도전서
16장
13 깨어 믿음에 굳게 서서 남자답게 강건하라
13 Be watchful,stand firm in the faith,act like men,be strong.
14 너희 모든 일을 사랑으로 행하라
14 Let all that you do be done in love.
15 형제들아 스데바나의 집은 곧 아가야의 첫 열매요 또 성도 섬기기로 작정한 줄을 너희가 아는지라 내가 너희를 권하노니
15 Now I urge you, brothers&emdash;you know thatthe householdof Stephanas werethe first converts in Achaia, and that they have devoted themselvesto the service of the saints&emdash;
16 이같은 사람들과 또 함께 일하며 수고하는 모든 사람에게 순종하라
16 be subject to such as these, and to every fellow worker and laborer.
17 내가 스데바나와 브드나도와 아가이고가 온 것을 기뻐하노니 그들이 너희의 부족한 것을 채웠음이라
17 I rejoice at the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus, because they have made up foryour absence,
18 그들이 나와 너희 마음을 시원하게 하였으니 그러므로 너희는 이런 사람들을 알아 주라
18 for theyrefreshed my spirit as well as yours.Give recognition to such people.
19 아시아의 교회들이 너희에게 문안하고 아굴라와 브리스가와 그 집에 있는 교회가 주 안에서 너희에게 간절히 문안하고
19 The churches of Asia send you greetings.Aquila and Prisca, together withthe church in their house, send you hearty greetings in the Lord.
20 모든 형제도 너희에게 문안하니 너희는 거룩하게 입맞춤으로 서로 문안하라
20 All the brothers send you greetings.Greet one another with a holy kiss.
21 나 바울은 친필로 너희에게 문안하노니
21 I, Paul, writethis greeting with my own hand.
22 만일 누구든지 주를 사랑하지 아니하면 저주를 받을지어다 우리 주여 오시옵소서
22 If anyone has no love for the Lord, let him beaccursed. Our Lord, come!
23 주 예수 그리스도의 은혜가 너희와 함께 하고
23 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you.
24 나의 사랑이 그리스도 예수 안에서 너희 무리와 함께 할지어다
24 My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.
