욥기
32장
1 욥이 자신을 의인으로 여기므로 그 세 사람이 말을 그치니
1 So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he wasrighteous in his own eyes.
2 람 종족 부스 사람 바라겔의 아들 엘리후가 화를 내니 그가 욥에게 화를 냄은 욥이 하나님보다 자기가 의롭다 함이요
2 Then Elihu the son of Barachelthe Buzite, of the family of Ram, burned with anger. He burned with anger at Job because he justified himselfrather than God.
3 또 세 친구에게 화를 냄은 그들이 능히 대답하지 못하면서도 욥을 정죄함이라
3 He burned with anger also at Job's three friends because they had found no answer, although they haddeclared Job to be in the wrong.
4 엘리후는 그들의 나이가 자기보다 여러 해 위이므로 욥에게 말하기를 참고 있다가
4 Now Elihu had waited to speak to Job because they were older than he.
5 세 사람의 입에 대답이 없음을 보고 화를 내니라
5 And when Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, he burned with anger.
6 부스 사람 바라겔의 아들 엘리후가 대답하여 이르되 나는 연소하고 당신들은 연로하므로 뒷전에서 나의 의견을 감히 내놓지 못하였노라
6 And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said:I am young in years,and you areaged;therefore I was timid and afraidto declare my opinion to you.
7 내가 말하기를 나이가 많은 자가 말할 것이요 연륜이 많은 자가 지혜를 가르칠 것이라 하였노라
7 I said,Let days speak,and many years teach wisdom.
8 그러나 사람의 속에는 영이 있고 전능자의 숨결이 사람에게 깨달음을 주시나니
8 But it isthe spirit in man,the breath of the Almighty, that makes himunderstand.
9 어른이라고 지혜롭거나 노인이라고 정의를 깨닫는 것이 아니니라
9 It is not the oldwho are wise,nor the aged who understand what is right.
10 그러므로 내가 말하노니 내 말을 들으라 나도 내 의견을 말하리라
10 Therefore I say,Listen to me;let me also declare my opinion.
11 보라 나는 당신들의 말을 기다렸노라 당신들의 슬기와 당신들의 말에 귀 기울이고 있었노라
11 Behold, I waited for your words,I listened for your wise sayings,while you searched out what to say.
12 내가 자세히 들은즉 당신들 가운데 욥을 꺾어 그의 말에 대답하는 자가 없도다
12 I gave you my attention,and, behold, there was none among you who refuted Jobor who answered his words.
13 당신들이 말하기를 우리가 진상을 파악했으나 그를 추궁할 자는 하나님이시요 사람이 아니라 하지 말지니라
13 Bewarelest you say,We have found wisdom;God may vanquish him, not a man.
14 그가 내게 자기 이론을 제기하지 아니하였으니 나도 당신들의 이론으로 그에게 대답하지 아니하리라
14 He has not directed his words against me,and I will not answer him with your speeches.
15 그들이 놀라서 다시 대답하지 못하니 할 말이 없음이었더라
15 They are dismayed; they answer no more;they have not a word to say.
16 당신들이 말 없이 가만히 서서 다시 대답하지 아니한즉 내가 어찌 더 기다리랴
16 And shall I wait, because they do not speak,because they stand there, and answer no more?
17 나는 내 본분대로 대답하고 나도 내 의견을 보이리라
17 I also will answer with my share;I also will declare my opinion.
18 내 속에는 말이 가득하니 내 영이 나를 압박함이니라
18 For I am full of words;the spirit within me constrains me.
19 보라 내 배는 봉한 포도주통 같고 터지게 된 새 가죽 부대 같구나
19 Behold, my belly is like wine that has no vent;like newwineskins ready to burst.
20 내가 말을 하여야 시원할 것이라 내 입을 열어 대답하리라
20 I must speak, that I may findrelief;I must open my lips and answer.
21 나는 결코 사람의 낯을 보지 아니하며 사람에게 영광을 돌리지 아니하리니
21 I will notshow partiality to any manor use flattery toward any person.
22 이는 아첨할 줄을 알지 못함이라 만일 그리하면 나를 지으신 이가 속히 나를 데려가시리로다
22 For I do not know how to flatter,else my Maker would soon take me away.33장
1 그런즉 욥이여 내 말을 들으며 내 모든 말에 귀를 기울이기를 원하노라
1 But now, hear my speech, O Job,and listen to all my words.
2 내가 입을 여니 내 혀가 입에서 말하는구나
2 Behold, Iopen my mouth;the tongue in my mouth speaks.
3 내 마음의 정직함이 곧 내 말이며 내 입술이 아는 바가 진실을 말하느니라
3 My words declare the uprightness of my heart,and what my lips know they speak sincerely.
4 하나님의 영이 나를 지으셨고 전능자의 기운이 나를 살리시느니라
4 The Spirit of God has made me,andthe breath of the Almighty gives me life.
5 그대가 할 수 있거든 일어서서 내게 대답하고 내 앞에 진술하라
5 Answer me, if you can;set your words in order before me; take your stand.
6 나와 그대가 하나님 앞에서 동일하니 나도 흙으로 지으심을 입었은즉
6 Behold, I am toward God as you are;I too was pinched off from a piece ofclay.
7 내 위엄으로는 그대를 두렵게 하지 못하고 내 손으로는 그대를 누르지 못하느니라
7 Behold, nofear of me need terrify you;mypressure will not be heavy upon you.
8 그대는 실로 내가 듣는 데서 말하였고 나는 그대의 말소리를 들었느니라
8 Surely you have spoken in my ears,and I have heard the sound of your words.
9 이르기를 나는 깨끗하여 악인이 아니며 순전하고 불의도 없거늘
9 You say,I ampure, withouttransgression;I am clean, and there is no iniquity in me.
10 참으로 하나님이 나에게서 잘못을 찾으시며 나를 자기의 원수로 여기사
10 Behold, he finds occasions against me,hecounts me as his enemy,
11 내 발을 차꼬에 채우시고 나의 모든 길을 감시하신다 하였느니라
11 heputs my feet in the stocksandwatches all my paths.
12 내가 그대에게 대답하리라 이 말에 그대가 의롭지 못하니 하나님은 사람보다 크심이니라
12 Behold, in this you are not right. I will answer you,for God is greater than man.
13 하나님께서 사람의 말에 대답하지 않으신다 하여 어찌 하나님과 논쟁하겠느냐
13 Why do youcontend against him,saying,Hewill answer none of man'swords?
14 하나님은 한 번 말씀하시고 다시 말씀하시되 사람은 관심이 없도다
14 For Godspeaks in one way,and in two, though mandoes not perceive it.
15 사람이 침상에서 졸며 깊이 잠들 때에나 꿈에나 밤에 환상을 볼 때에
15 Ina dream, ina vision ofthe night,whendeep sleep falls on men,while they slumber on their beds,
16 그가 사람의 귀를 여시고 경고로써 두렵게 하시니
16 then heopens the ears of menand terrifies them with warnings,
17 이는 사람에게 그의 행실을 버리게 하려 하심이며 사람의 교만을 막으려 하심이라
17 that he may turn man aside from hisdeedand conceal pride from a man;
18 그는 사람의 혼을 구덩이에 빠지지 않게 하시며 그 생명을 칼에 맞아 멸망하지 않게 하시느니라
18 he keeps back his soul from the pit,his life fromperishing by the sword.
19 혹은 사람이 병상의 고통과 뼈가 늘 쑤심의 징계를 받나니
19 Man is also rebuked with pain on his bedand with continual strife in hisbones,
20 그의 생명은 음식을 싫어하고 그의 마음은 별미를 싫어하며
20 so that hislife loathes bread,and his appetitethe choicest food.
21 그의 살은 파리하여 보이지 아니하고 보이지 않던 뼈가 드러나서
21 His flesh is so wasted away that it cannot be seen,and his bones that were not seenstick out.
22 그의 마음은 구덩이에, 그의 생명은 멸하는 자에게 가까워지느니라
22 His soul draws nearthe pit,and his life tothose who bring death.
23 만일 일천 천사 가운데 하나가 그 사람의 중보자로 함께 있어서 그의 정당함을 보일진대
23 If there be for himan angel,a mediator,one of the thousand,to declare to man what isright for him,
24 하나님이 그 사람을 불쌍히 여기사 그를 건져서 구덩이에 내려가지 않게 하라 내가 대속물을 얻었다 하시리라
24 and he is merciful to him, and says,Deliver him from going down into the pit;I have founda ransom;
25 그런즉 그의 살이 청년보다 부드러워지며 젊음을 회복하리라
25 let his fleshbecome fresh with youth;let him return to the days of his youthful vigor;
26 그는 하나님께 기도하므로 하나님이 은혜를 베푸사 그로 말미암아 기뻐 외치며 하나님의 얼굴을 보게 하시고 사람에게 그의 공의를 회복시키시느니라
26 then manprays to God, and he accepts him;hesees his face with a shout of joy,and herestores to man his righteousness.
27 그가 사람 앞에서 노래하여 이르기를 내가 범죄하여 옳은 것을 그르쳤으나 내게 무익하였구나
27 He sings before men and says:Isinned and perverted what was right,and it was not repaid to me.
28 하나님이 내 영혼을 건지사 구덩이에 내려가지 않게 하셨으니 내 생명이 빛을 보겠구나 하리라
28 He has redeemed mysoul from going downinto the pit,and my life shalllook upon the light.
29 실로 하나님이 사람에게 이 모든 일을 재삼 행하심은
29 Behold, God does all these things,twice,three times, with a man,
30 그들의 영혼을 구덩이에서 이끌어 생명의 빛을 그들에게 비추려 하심이니라
30 to bring back his soul from the pit,that he may be lighted withthe light of life.
31 욥이여 내 말을 귀담아 들으라 잠잠하라 내가 말하리라
31 Pay attention, O Job, listen to me;be silent, and I will speak.
32 만일 할 말이 있거든 대답하라 내가 기쁜 마음으로 그대를 의롭다 하리니 그대는 말하라
32 If you have any words,answer me;speak, for I desire to justify you.
33 만일 없으면 내 말을 들으라 잠잠하라 내가 지혜로 그대를 가르치리라
33 If not,listen to me;be silent, and I will teach you wisdom.고린도후서
3장
7 돌에 써서 새긴 죽게 하는 율법 조문의 직분도 영광이 있어 이스라엘 자손들은 모세의 얼굴의 없어질 영광 때문에도 그 얼굴을 주목하지 못하였거든
7 Now ifthe ministry of death, carved in letters on stone, came with such glorythat the Israelites could not gaze at Moses' face because of its glory, which was being brought to an end,
8 하물며 영의 직분은 더욱 영광이 있지 아니하겠느냐
8 will not the ministry of the Spirit have even more glory?
9 정죄의 직분도 영광이 있은즉 의의 직분은 영광이 더욱 넘치리라
9 For if there was glory inthe ministry of condemnation,the ministry of righteousness must far exceed it in glory.
10 영광되었던 것이 더 큰 영광으로 말미암아 이에 영광될 것이 없으나
10 Indeed, in this case, what once had glory has come to have no glory at all, because of the glory that surpasses it.
11 없어질 것도 영광으로 말미암았은즉 길이 있을 것은 더욱 영광 가운데 있느니라
11 For if what was being brought to an end came with glory, much more will what is permanent have glory.
12 우리가 이같은 소망이 있으므로 담대히 말하노니
12 Since we have such a hope,we are very bold,
13 우리는 모세가 이스라엘 자손들에게 장차 없어질 것의 결국을 주목하지 못하게 하려고 수건을 그 얼굴에 쓴 것 같이 아니하노라
13 not like Moses,who would put a veil over his face so that the Israelites might not gaze at the outcome of what was being brought to an end.
14 그러나 그들의 마음이 완고하여 오늘까지도 구약을 읽을 때에 그 수건이 벗겨지지 아니하고 있으니 그 수건은 그리스도 안에서 없어질 것이라
14 Buttheir minds werehardened. For to this day,when they readthe old covenant, that same veil remains unlifted, because only through Christ is it taken away.
15 오늘까지 모세의 글을 읽을 때에 수건이 그 마음을 덮었도다
15 Yes, to this day whenever Moses is read a veil lies over their hearts.
16 그러나 언제든지 주께로 돌아가면 그 수건이 벗겨지리라
16 But whenoneturns to the Lord,the veil is removed.
17 주는 영이시니 주의 영이 계신 곳에는 자유가 있느니라
17 Now the Lordis the Spirit, and wherethe Spirit of the Lord is, there isfreedom.
18 우리가 다 수건을 벗은 얼굴로 거울을 보는 것 같이 주의 영광을 보매 그와 같은 형상으로 변화하여 영광에서 영광에 이르니 곧 주의 영으로 말미암음이니라
18 And we all, with unveiled face,beholdingthe glory of the Lord,are being transformed into the same imagefrom one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
