Josh.3:1 Early in the morning Joshua and all the Israelites set out from Shittim and went to the Jordan, where they camped before crossing over. [NIV]수3:2 사흘 후에 관리들이 진중으로 두루 다니며 [개역개정]

Josh.3:3 giving orders to the people: "When you see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, and the priests, who are Levites, carrying it, you are to move out from your positions and follow it. Josh.3:6 Joshua said to the priests, "Take up the ark of the covenant and pass on ahead of the people." So they took it up and went ahead of them. [NIV]수3:7 여호와께서 여호수아에게 이르시되 내가 오늘부터 시작하여 너를 온 이스라엘의 목전에서 크게 하여 내가 모세와 함께 있었던 것 같이 너와 함께 있는 것을 그들이 알게 하리라 [개역개정]
Josh.3:7 And the LORD said to Joshua, "Today I will begin to exalt you in the eyes of all Israel, so they may know that I am with you as I was with Moses. [NIV]수3:8 너는 언약궤를 멘 제사장들에게 명령하여 이르기를 너희가 요단 물 가에 이르거든 요단에 들어서라 하라 [개역개정]

Josh.3:10 This is how you will know that the living God is among you and that he will certainly drive out before you the Canaanites, Hittites, Hivites, Perizzites, Girgashites, Amorites and Jebusites. [NIV]수3:11 보라 온 땅의 주의 언약궤가 너희 앞에서 요단을 건너가나니 [개역개정]

Josh.3:15 Now the Jordan is at flood stage all during harvest. Yet as soon as the priests who carried the ark reached the Jordan and their feet touched the water's edge, [NIV]수3:16 곧 위에서부터 흘러내리던 물이 그쳐서 사르단에 가까운 매우 멀리 있는 아담 성읍 변두리에 일어나 한 곳에 쌓이고 아라바의 바다 염해로 향하여 흘러가는 물은 온전히 끊어지매 백성이 여리고 앞으로 바로 건널새 [개역개정]
Josh.3:16 the water from upstream stopped flowing. It piled up in a heap a great distance away, at a town called Adam in the vicinity of Zarethan, while the water flowing down to the Sea of the Arabah (the Salt Sea) was completely cut off. Josh.3:17 The priests who carried the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the middle of the Jordan, while all Israel passed by until the whole nation had completed the crossing on dry ground. [NIV]수4:1 그 모든 백성이 요단을 건너가기를 마치매 여호와께서 여호수아에게 말씀하여 이르시되 [개역개정]
Josh.4:1 When the whole nation had finished crossing the Jordan, the LORD said to Joshua, [NIV]수4:2 백성의 각 지파에 한 사람씩 열두 사람을 택하고 [개역개정]
Josh.4:2 "Choose twelve men from among the people, one from each tribe, [NIV]수4:3 그들에게 명령하여 이르기를 요단 가운데 제사장들의 발이 굳게 선 그 곳에서 돌 열둘을 택하여 그것을 가져다가 오늘밤 너희가 유숙할 그 곳에 두게 하라 하시니라 [개역개정]
Josh.4:3 and tell them to take up twelve stones from the middle of the Jordan from right where the priests stood and to carry them over with you and put them down at the place where you stay tonight." [NIV]수4:4 여호수아가 이스라엘 자손 중에서 각 지파에 한 사람씩 준비한 그 열두 사람을 불러 [개역개정]
Josh.4:4 So Joshua called together the twelve men he had appointed from the Israelites, one from each tribe, [NIV]수4:5 그들에게 이르되 요단 가운데로 들어가 너희 하나님 여호와의 궤 앞으로 가서 이스라엘 자손들의 지파 수대로 각기 돌 한 개씩 가져다가 어깨에 메라 [개역개정]
Josh.4:5 and said to them, "Go over before the ark of the LORD your God into the middle of the Jordan. Each of you is to take up a stone on his shoulder, according to the number of the tribes of the Israelites, [NIV]수4:6 이것이 너희 중에 표징이 되리라 후일에 너희의 자손들이 물어 이르되 이 돌들은 무슨 뜻이냐 하거든 [개역개정]
Josh.4:6 to serve as a sign among you. In the future, when your children ask you, 'What do these stones mean?' [NIV]수4:7 그들에게 이르기를 요단 물이 여호와의 언약궤 앞에서 끊어졌나니 곧 언약궤가 요단을 건널 때에 요단 물이 끊어졌으므로 이 돌들이 이스라엘 자손에게 영원히 기념이 되리라 하라 하니라 [개역개정]
Josh.4:7 tell them that the flow of the Jordan was cut off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD. When it crossed the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. These stones are to be a memorial to the people of Israel forever." [NIV]수4:8 이스라엘 자손들이 여호수아가 명령한 대로 행하되 여호와께서 여호수아에게 이르신 대로 이스라엘 자손들의 지파의 수를 따라 요단 가운데에서 돌 열둘을 택하여 자기들이 유숙할 곳으로 가져다가 거기에 두었더라 [개역개정]
Josh.4:8 So the Israelites did as Joshua commanded them. They took twelve stones from the middle of the Jordan, according to the number of the tribes of the Israelites, as the LORD had told Joshua; and they carried them over with them to their camp, where they put them down. [NIV]수4:9 여호수아가 또 요단 가운데 곧 언약궤를 멘 제사장들의 발이 선 곳에 돌 열둘을 세웠더니 오늘까지 거기에 있더라 [개역개정]
Josh.4:9 Joshua set up the twelve stones that had been in the middle of the Jordan at the spot where the priests who carried the ark of the covenant had stood. And they are there to this day. [NIV]수4:10 또 여호와께서 여호수아에게 명령하사 백성에게 말하게 하신 일 곧 모세가 여호수아에게 명령한 일이 다 마치기까지 궤를 멘 제사장들이 요단 가운데에 서 있고 백성은 속히 건넜으며 [개역개정]
Josh.4:10 Now the priests who carried the ark remained standing in the middle of the Jordan until everything the LORD had commanded Joshua was done by the people, just as Moses had directed Joshua. The people hurried over, [NIV]수4:11 모든 백성이 건너기를 마친 후에 여호와의 궤와 제사장들이 백성의 목전에서 건넜으며 [개역개정]
Josh.4:11 and as soon as all of them had crossed, the ark of the LORD and the priests came to the other side while the people watched. [NIV]수4:12 르우벤 자손과 갓 자손과 므낫세 반 지파는 모세가 그들에게 이른 것 같이 무장하고 이스라엘 자손들보다 앞서 건너갔으니 [개역개정]
Josh.4:12 The men of Reuben, Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh crossed over, armed, in front of the Israelites, as Moses had directed them. [NIV]수4:13 무장한 사만 명 가량이 여호와 앞에서 건너가 싸우려고 여리고 평지에 이르니라 [개역개정]
Josh.4:13 About forty thousand armed for battle crossed over before the LORD to the plains of Jericho for war. [NIV]수4:14 그 날에 여호와께서 모든 이스라엘의 목전에서 여호수아를 크게 하시매 그가 생존한 날 동안에 백성이 그를 두려워하기를 모세를 두려워하던 것 같이 하였더라 [개역개정]
Josh.4:14 That day the LORD exalted Joshua in the sight of all Israel; and they revered him all the days of his life, just as they had revered Moses. [NIV]수4:15 여호와께서 여호수아에게 말씀하여 이르시되 [개역개정]
Josh.4:15 Then the LORD said to Joshua, [NIV]수4:16 증거궤를 멘 제사장들에게 명령하여 요단에서 올라오게 하라 하신지라 [개역개정]
Josh.4:16 "Command the priests carrying the ark of the Testimony to come up out of the Jordan." [NIV]수4:17 여호수아가 제사장들에게 명령하여 이르기를 요단에서 올라오라 하매 [개역개정]
Josh.4:17 So Joshua commanded the priests, "Come up out of the Jordan." [NIV]수4:18 여호와의 언약궤를 멘 제사장들이 요단 가운데에서 나오며 그 발바닥으로 육지를 밟는 동시에 요단 물이 본 곳으로 도로 흘러서 전과 같이 언덕에 넘쳤더라 [개역개정]
Josh.4:18 And the priests came up out of the river carrying the ark of the covenant of the LORD. No sooner had they set their feet on the dry ground than the waters of the Jordan returned to their place and ran at flood stage as before. [NIV]수4:19 첫째 달 십일에 백성이 요단에서 올라와 여리고 동쪽 경계 길갈에 진 치매 [개역개정]
Josh.4:19 On the tenth day of the first month the people went up from the Jordan and camped at Gilgal on the eastern border of Jericho. [NIV]수4:20 여호수아가 요단에서 가져온 그 열두 돌을 길갈에 세우고 [개역개정]
Josh.4:20 And Joshua set up at Gilgal the twelve stones they had taken out of the Jordan. [NIV]수4:21 이스라엘 자손들에게 말하여 이르되 후일에 너희의 자손들이 그들의 아버지에게 묻기를 이 돌들은 무슨 뜻이니이까 하거든 [개역개정]
Josh.4:21 He said to the Israelites, "In the future when your descendants ask their fathers, 'What do these stones mean?' [NIV]수4:22 너희는 너희의 자손들에게 알게 하여 이르기를 이스라엘이 마른 땅을 밟고 이 요단을 건넜음이라 [개역개정]
Josh.4:22 tell them, 'Israel crossed the Jordan on dry ground.' [NIV]수4:23 너희의 하나님 여호와께서 요단 물을 너희 앞에서 마르게 하사 너희를 건너게 하신 것이 너희의 하나님 여호와께서 우리 앞에 홍해를 말리시고 우리를 건너게 하심과 같았나니 [개역개정]
Josh.4:23 For the LORD your God dried up the Jordan before you until you had crossed over. The LORD your God did to the Jordan just what he had done to the Red Sea when he dried it up before us until we had crossed over. [NIV]수4:24 이는 땅의 모든 백성에게 여호와의 손이 강하신 것을 알게 하며 너희가 너희의 하나님 여호와를 항상 경외하게 하려 하심이라 하라 [개역개정]
Josh.4:24 He did this so that all the peoples of the earth might know that the hand of the LORD is powerful and so that you might always fear the LORD your God." [NIV]수5:1 요단 서쪽의 아모리 사람의 모든 왕들과 해변의 가나안 사람의 모든 왕들이 여호와께서 요단 물을 이스라엘 자손들 앞에서 말리시고 우리를 건너게 하셨음을 듣고 마음이 녹았고 이스라엘 자손들 때문에 정신을 잃었더라 [개역개정]
Josh.5:1 Now when all the Amorite kings west of the Jordan and all the Canaanite kings along the coast heard how the LORD had dried up the Jordan before the Israelites until we had crossed over, their hearts melted and they no longer had the courage to face the Israelites. [NIV]수5:2 그 때에 여호와께서 여호수아에게 이르시되 너는 부싯돌로 칼을 만들어 이스라엘 자손들에게 다시 할례를 행하라 하시매 [개역개정]
Josh.5:2 At that time the LORD said to Joshua, "Make flint knives and circumcise the Israelites again." [NIV]수5:3 여호수아가 부싯돌로 칼을 만들어 할례 산에서 이스라엘 자손들에게 할례를 행하니라 [개역개정]
Josh.5:3 So Joshua made flint knives and circumcised the Israelites at Gibeath Haaraloth. [NIV]수5:4 여호수아가 할례를 시행한 까닭은 이것이니 애굽에서 나온 모든 백성 중 남자 곧 모든 군사는 애굽에서 나온 후 광야 길에서 죽었는데 [개역개정]
Josh.5:4 Now this is why he did so: All those who came out of Egypt--all the men of military age--died in the desert on the way after leaving Egypt. [NIV]수5:5 그 나온 백성은 다 할례를 받았으나 다만 애굽에서 나온 후 광야 길에서 난 자는 할례를 받지 못하였음이라 [개역개정]
Josh.5:5 All the people that came out had been circumcised, but all the people born in the desert during the journey from Egypt had not. [NIV]수5:6 이스라엘 자손들이 여호와의 음성을 청종하지 아니하므로 여호와께서 그들에게 대하여 맹세하사 그들의 조상들에게 맹세하여 우리에게 주리라고 하신 땅 곧 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅을 그들이 보지 못하게 하리라 하시매 애굽에서 나온 족속 곧 군사들이 다 멸절하기까지 사십 년 동안을 광야에서 헤매었더니 [개역개정]
Josh.5:6 The Israelites had moved about in the desert forty years until all the men who were of military age when they left Egypt had died, since they had not obeyed the LORD. For the LORD had sworn to them that they would not see the land that he had solemnly promised their fathers to give us, a land flowing with milk and honey. [NIV]수5:7 그들의 대를 잇게 하신 이 자손에게 여호수아가 할례를 행하였으니 길에서는 그들에게 할례를 행하지 못하였으므로 할례 없는 자가 되었음이었더라 [개역개정]
Josh.5:7 So he raised up their sons in their place, and these were the ones Joshua circumcised. They were still uncircumcised because they had not been circumcised on the way. [NIV]수5:8 또 그 모든 백성에게 할례 행하기를 마치매 백성이 진중 각 처소에 머물며 낫기를 기다릴 때에 [개역개정]
Josh.5:8 And after the whole nation had been circumcised, they remained where they were in camp until they were healed. [NIV]수5:9 여호와께서 여호수아에게 이르시되 내가 오늘 애굽의 수치를 너희에게서 떠나가게 하였다 하셨으므로 그 곳 이름을 오늘까지 길갈이라 하느니라 [개역개정]
Josh.5:9 Then the LORD said to Joshua, "Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you." So the place has been called Gilgal to this day. [NIV]수5:10 또 이스라엘 자손들이 길갈에 진 쳤고 그 달 십사일 저녁에는 여리고 평지에서 유월절을 지켰으며 [개역개정]
Josh.5:10 On the evening of the fourteenth day of the month, while camped at Gilgal on the plains of Jericho, the Israelites celebrated the Passover. [NIV]수5:11 유월절 이튿날에 그 땅의 소산물을 먹되 그 날에 무교병과 볶은 곡식을 먹었더라 [개역개정]
Josh.5:11 The day after the Passover, that very day, they ate some of the produce of the land: unleavened bread and roasted grain. [NIV]수5:12 또 그 땅의 소산물을 먹은 다음 날에 만나가 그쳤으니 이스라엘 사람들이 다시는 만나를 얻지 못하였고 그 해에 가나안 땅의 소출을 먹었더라 [개역개정]
Josh.5:12 The manna stopped the day after they ate this food from the land; there was no longer any manna for the Israelites, but that year they ate of the produce of Canaan. [NIV]시편 (Psalms)

Ps.122:4 That is where the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, to praise the name of the LORD according to the statute given to Israel. [NIV]시122:5 거기에 심판의 보좌를 두셨으니 곧 다윗의 집의 보좌로다 [개역개정]
Ps.122:5 There the thrones for judgment stand, the thrones of the house of David. [NIV]시122:6 예루살렘을 위하여 평안을 구하라 예루살렘을 사랑하는 자는 형통하리로다 [개역개정]
Ps.122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: "May those who love you be secure. [NIV]시122:7 네 성 안에는 평안이 있고 네 궁중에는 형통함이 있을지어다 [개역개정]
Ps.122:7 May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels." [NIV]시122:8 내가 내 형제와 친구를 위하여 이제 말하리니 네 가운데에 평안이 있을지어다 [개역개정]
Ps.122:8 For the sake of my brothers and friends, I will say, "Peace be within you." [NIV]시122:9 여호와 우리 하나님의 집을 위하여 내가 너를 위하여 복을 구하리로다 [개역개정]
Ps.122:9 For the sake of the house of the LORD our God, I will seek your prosperity. [NIV]
