민수기
12장
1 모세가 구스 여자를 취하였더니 그 구스 여자를 취하였으므로 미리암과 아론이 모세를 비방하니라
1 Miriam and Aaron began to talk against Moses because of his Cushite wife, for he had married a Cushite.
2 그들이 이르되 여호와께서 모세와만 말씀하셨느냐 우리와도 말씀하지 아니하셨느냐 하매 여호와께서 이 말을 들으셨더라
2 Has the LORD spoken only through Moses? they asked. "Hasn`t he also spoken through us?" And the LORD heard this.
3 이 사람 모세는 온유함이 지면의 모든 사람보다 더하더라
3 (Now Moses was a very humble man, more humble than anyone else on the face of the earth.)
4 여호와께서 갑자기 모세와 아론과 미리암에게 이르시되 너희 세 사람은 회막으로 나아오라 하시니 그 세 사람이 나아가매
4 At once the LORD said to Moses, Aaron and Miriam, "Come out to the Tent of Meeting, all three of you." So the three of them came out.
5 여호와께서 구름 기둥 가운데로부터 강림하사 장막 문에 서시고 아론과 미리암을 부르시는지라 그 두 사람이 나아가매
5 Then the LORD came down in a pillar of cloud; he stood at the entrance to the Tent and summoned Aaron and Miriam. When both of them stepped forward,
6 이르시되 내 말을 들으라 너희 중에 선지자가 있으면 나 여호와가 환상으로 나를 그에게 알리기도 하고 꿈으로 그와 말하기도 하거니와
6 he said, "Listen to my words: "When a prophet of the LORD is among you, I reveal myself to him in visions, I speak to him in dreams.
7 내 종 모세와는 그렇지 아니하니 그는 내 온 집에 충성함이라
7 But this is not true of my servant Moses; he is faithful in all my house.
8 그와는 내가 대면하여 명백히 말하고 은밀한 말로 하지 아니하며 그는 또 여호와의 형상을 보거늘 너희가 어찌하여 내 종 모세 비방하기를 두려워하지 아니하느냐
8 With him I speak face to face, clearly and not in riddles; he sees the form of the LORD. Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?"
9 여호와께서 그들을 향하여 진노하시고 떠나시매
9 The anger of the LORD burned against them, and he left them.
10 구름이 장막 위에서 떠나갔고 미리암은 나병에 걸려 눈과 같더라 아론이 미리암을 본즉 나병에 걸렸는지라
10 When the cloud lifted from above the Tent, there stood Miriam--leprous, like snow. Aaron turned toward her and saw that she had leprosy;
11 아론이 이에 모세에게 이르되 슬프도다 내 주여 우리가 어리석은 일을 하여 죄를 지었으나 청하건대 그 벌을 우리에게 돌리지 마소서
11 and he said to Moses, "Please, my lord, do not hold against us the sin we have so foolishly committed.
12 그가 살이 반이나 썩어 모태로부터 죽어서 나온 자 같이 되지 않게 하소서
12 Do not let her be like a stillborn infant coming from its mother`s womb with its flesh half eaten away."
13 모세가 여호와께 부르짖어 이르되 하나님이여 원하건대 그를 고쳐 주옵소서
13 So Moses cried out to the LORD, "O God, please heal her!"
14 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 그의 아버지가 그의 얼굴에 침을 뱉었을지라도 그가 이레 동안 부끄러워하지 않겠느냐 그런즉 그를 진영 밖에 이레 동안 가두고 그 후에 들어오게 할지니라 하시니
14 The LORD replied to Moses, "If her father had spit in her face, would she not have been in disgrace for seven days? Confine her outside the camp for seven days; after that she can be brought back."
15 이에 미리암이 진영 밖에 이레 동안 갇혀 있었고 백성은 그를 다시 들어오게 하기까지 행진하지 아니하다가
15 So Miriam was confined outside the camp for seven days, and the people did not move on till she was brought back.
16 그 후에 백성이 하세롯을 떠나 바란 광야에 진을 치니라
16 After that, the people left Hazeroth and encamped in the Desert of Paran.13장
1 여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하여 이르시되
1 The LORD said to Moses,
2 사람을 보내어 내가 이스라엘 자손에게 주는 가나안 땅을 정탐하게 하되 그들의 조상의 가문 각 지파 중에서 지휘관 된 자 한 사람씩 보내라
2 Send some men to explore the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the Israelites. From each ancestral tribe send one of its leaders.
3 모세가 여호와의 명령을 따라 바란 광야에서 그들을 보냈으니 그들은 다 이스라엘 자손의 수령 된 사람이라
3 So at the LORD`s command Moses sent them out from the Desert of Paran. All of them were leaders of the Israelites.
4 그들의 이름은 이러하니라 르우벤 지파에서는 삭굴의 아들 삼무아요
4 These are their names: from the tribe of Reuben, Shammua son of Zaccur;
5 시므온 지파에서는 호리의 아들 사밧이요
5 from the tribe of Simeon, Shaphat son of Hori;
6 유다 지파에서는 여분네의 아들 갈렙이요
6 from the tribe of Judah, Caleb son of Jephunneh;
7 잇사갈 지파에서는 요셉의 아들 이갈이요
7 from the tribe of Issachar, Igal son of Joseph;
8 에브라임 지파에서는 눈의 아들 호세아요
8 from the tribe of Ephraim, Hoshea son of Nun;
9 베냐민 지파에서는 라부의 아들 발디요
9 from the tribe of Benjamin, Palti son of Raphu;
10 스불론 지파에서는 소디의 아들 갓디엘이요
10 from the tribe of Zebulun, Gaddiel son of Sodi;
11 요셉 지파 곧 므낫세 지파에서는 수시의 아들 갓디요
11 from the tribe of Manasseh (a tribe of Joseph), Gaddi son of Susi;
12 단 지파에서는 그말리의 아들 암미엘이요
12 from the tribe of Dan, Ammiel son of Gemalli;
13 아셀 지파에서는 미가엘의 아들 스둘이요
13 from the tribe of Asher, Sethur son of Michael;
14 납달리 지파에서는 웝시의 아들 나비요
14 from the tribe of Naphtali, Nahbi son of Vophsi;
15 갓 지파에서는 마기의 아들 그우엘이니
15 from the tribe of Gad, Geuel son of Maki.
16 이는 모세가 땅을 정탐하러 보낸 자들의 이름이라 모세가 눈의 아들 호세아를 여호수아라 불렀더라
16 These are the names of the men Moses sent to explore the land. (Moses gave Hoshea son of Nun the name Joshua.)
17 모세가 가나안 땅을 정탐하러 그들을 보내며 이르되 너희는 네겝 길로 행하여 산지로 올라가서
17 When Moses sent them to explore Canaan, he said, "Go up through the Negev and on into the hill country.
18 그 땅이 어떠한지 정탐하라 곧 그 땅 거민이 강한지 약한지 많은지 적은지와
18 See what the land is like and whether the people who live there are strong or weak, few or many.
19 그들이 사는 땅이 좋은지 나쁜지와 사는 성읍이 진영인지 산성인지와
19 What kind of land do they live in? Is it good or bad? What kind of towns do they live in? Are they unwalled or fortified?
20 토지가 비옥한지 메마른지 나무가 있는지 없는지를 탐지하라 담대하라 또 그 땅의 실과를 가져오라 하니 그 때는 포도가 처음 익을 즈음이었더라
20 How is the soil? Is it fertile or poor? Are there trees on it or not? Do your best to bring back some of the fruit of the land." (It was the season for the first ripe grapes.)
21 이에 그들이 올라가서 땅을 정탐하되 신 광야에서부터 하맛 어귀 르홉에 이르렀고
21 So they went up and explored the land from the Desert of Zin as far as Rehob, toward Lebo Hamath.
22 또 네겝으로 올라가서 헤브론에 이르렀으니 헤브론은 애굽 소안보다 칠 년 전에 세운 곳이라 그 곳에 아낙 자손 아히만과 세새와 달매가 있었더라
22 They went up through the Negev and came to Hebron, where Ahiman, Sheshai and Talmai, the descendants of Anak, lived. (Hebron had been built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.)
23 또 에스골 골짜기에 이르러 거기서 포도송이가 달린 가지를 베어 둘이 막대기에 꿰어 메고 또 석류와 무화과를 따니라
23 When they reached the Valley of Eshcol, they cut off a branch bearing a single cluster of grapes. Two of them carried it on a pole between them, along with some pomegranates and figs.
24 이스라엘 자손이 거기서 포도를 베었으므로 그 곳을 에스골 골짜기라 불렀더라
24 That place was called the Valley of Eshcol because of the cluster of grapes the Israelites cut off there.
25 사십 일 동안 땅을 정탐하기를 마치고 돌아와
25 At the end of forty days they returned from exploring the land.
26 바란 광야 가데스에 이르러 모세와 아론과 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중에게 나아와 그들에게 보고하고 그 땅의 과일을 보이고
26 They came back to Moses and Aaron and the whole Israelite community at Kadesh in the Desert of Paran. There they reported to them and to the whole assembly and showed them the fruit of the land.
27 모세에게 말하여 이르되 당신이 우리를 보낸 땅에 간즉 과연 그 땅에 젖과 꿀이 흐르는데 이것은 그 땅의 과일이니이다
27 They gave Moses this account: "We went into the land to which you sent us, and it does flow with milk and honey! Here is its fruit.
28 그러나 그 땅 거주민은 강하고 성읍은 견고하고 심히 클 뿐 아니라 거기서 아낙 자손을 보았으며
28 But the people who live there are powerful, and the cities are fortified and very large. We even saw descendants of Anak there.
29 아말렉인은 남방 땅에 거주하고 헷인과 여부스인과 아모리인은 산지에 거주하고 가나안인은 해변과 요단 가에 거주하더이다
29 The Amalekites live in the Negev; the Hittites, Jebusites and Amorites live in the hill country; and the Canaanites live near the sea and along the Jordan."
30 갈렙이 모세 앞에서 백성을 조용하게 하고 이르되 우리가 곧 올라가서 그 땅을 취하자 능히 이기리라 하나
30 Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, "We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it."
31 그와 함께 올라갔던 사람들은 이르되 우리는 능히 올라가서 그 백성을 치지 못하리라 그들은 우리보다 강하니라 하고
31 But the men who had gone up with him said, "We can`t attack those people; they are stronger than we are."
32 이스라엘 자손 앞에서 그 정탐한 땅을 악평하여 이르되 우리가 두루 다니며 정탐한 땅은 그 거주민을 삼키는 땅이요 거기서 본 모든 백성은 신장이 장대한 자들이며
32 And they spread among the Israelites a bad report about the land they had explored. They said, "The land we explored devours those living in it. All the people we saw there are of great size.
33 거기서 네피림 후손인 아낙 자손의 거인들을 보았나니 우리는 스스로 보기에도 메뚜기 같으니 그들이 보기에도 그와 같았을 것이니라
33 We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them."마가복음
14장
53 그들이 예수를 끌고 대제사장에게로 가니 대제사장들과 장로들과 서기관들이 다 모이더라
53 They took Jesus to the high priest, and all the chief priests, elders and teachers of the law came together.
54 베드로가 예수를 멀찍이 따라 대제사장의 집 뜰 안까지 들어가서 아랫사람들과 함께 앉아 불을 쬐더라
54 Peter followed him at a distance, right into the courtyard of the high priest. There he sat with the guards and warmed himself at the fire.
55 대제사장들과 온 공회가 예수를 죽이려고 그를 칠 증거를 찾되 얻지 못하니
55 The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were looking for evidence against Jesus so that they could put him to death, but they did not find any.
56 이는 예수를 쳐서 거짓 증언 하는 자가 많으나 그 증언이 서로 일치하지 못함이라
56 Many testified falsely against him, but their statements did not agree.
57 어떤 사람들이 일어나 예수를 쳐서 거짓 증언 하여 이르되
57 Then some stood up and gave this false testimony against him:
58 우리가 그의 말을 들으니 손으로 지은 이 성전을 내가 헐고 손으로 짓지 아니한 다른 성전을 사흘 동안에 지으리라 하더라 하되
58 We heard him say, `I will destroy this man-made temple and in three days will build another, not made by man.`
59 그 증언도 서로 일치하지 않더라
59 Yet even then their testimony did not agree.
60 대제사장이 가운데 일어서서 예수에게 물어 이르되 너는 아무 대답도 없느냐 이 사람들이 너를 치는 증거가 어떠하냐 하되
60 Then the high priest stood up before them and asked Jesus, "Are you not going to answer? What is this testimony that these men are bringing against you?"
61 침묵하고 아무 대답도 아니하시거늘 대제사장이 다시 물어 이르되 네가 찬송 받을 이의 아들 그리스도냐
61 But Jesus remained silent and gave no answer. Again the high priest asked him, "Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?"
62 예수께서 이르시되 내가 그니라 인자가 권능자의 우편에 앉은 것과 하늘 구름을 타고 오는 것을 너희가 보리라 하시니
62 I am, said Jesus. "And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven."
63 대제사장이 자기 옷을 찢으며 이르되 우리가 어찌 더 증인을 요구하리요
63 The high priest tore his clothes. "Why do we need any more witnesses?" he asked.
64 그 신성 모독 하는 말을 너희가 들었도다 너희는 어떻게 생각하느냐 하니 그들이 다 예수를 사형에 해당한 자로 정죄하고
64 You have heard the blasphemy. What do you think? They all condemned him as worthy of death.
65 어떤 사람은 그에게 침을 뱉으며 그의 얼굴을 가리고 주먹으로 치며 이르되 선지자 노릇을 하라 하고 하인들은 손바닥으로 치더라
65 Then some began to spit at him; they blindfolded him, struck him with their fists, and said, "Prophesy!" And the guards took him and beat him.
66 베드로는 아랫뜰에 있더니 대제사장의 여종 하나가 와서
66 While Peter was below in the courtyard, one of the servant girls of the high priest came by.
67 베드로가 불 쬐고 있는 것을 보고 주목하여 이르되 너도 나사렛 예수와 함께 있었도다 하거늘
67 When she saw Peter warming himself, she looked closely at him. "You also were with that Nazarene, Jesus," she said.
68 베드로가 부인하여 이르되 나는 네가 말하는 것이 무엇인지 알지도 못하고 깨닫지도 못하겠노라 하며 앞뜰로 나갈새
68 But he denied it. "I don`t know or understand what you`re talking about," he said, and went out into the entryway.
69 여종이 그를 보고 곁에 서 있는 자들에게 다시 이르되 이 사람은 그 도당이라 하되
69 When the servant girl saw him there, she said again to those standing around, "This fellow is one of them."
70 또 부인하더라 조금 후에 곁에 서 있는 사람들이 다시 베드로에게 말하되 너도 갈릴리 사람이니 참으로 그 도당이니라
70 Again he denied it. After a little while, those standing near said to Peter, "Surely you are one of them, for you are a Galilean."
71 그러나 베드로가 저주하며 맹세하되 나는 너희가 말하는 이 사람을 알지 못하노라 하니
71 He began to call down curses on himself, and he swore to them, "I don`t know this man you`re talking about."
72 닭이 곧 두 번째 울더라 이에 베드로가 예수께서 자기에게 하신 말씀 곧 닭이 두 번 울기 전에 네가 세 번 나를 부인하리라 하심이 기억되어 그 일을 생각하고 울었더라
72 Immediately the rooster crowed the second time. Then Peter remembered the word Jesus had spoken to him: "Before the rooster crows twice you will disown me three times." And he broke down and wept.
