아가
5장
1 내 누이, 내 신부야 내가 내 동산에 들어와서 나의 몰약과 향 재료를 거두고 나의 꿀송이와 꿀을 먹고 내 포도주와 내 우유를 마셨으니 나의 친구들아 먹으라 나의 사랑하는 사람들아 많이 마시라
1 Icame to my garden, mysister, my bride,I gathered mymyrrh with my spice,I ate myhoneycomb with my honey,Idrank my wine with my milk.OthersEat,friends, drink,and be drunk with love!
2 내가 잘지라도 마음은 깨었는데 나의 사랑하는 자의 소리가 들리는구나 문을 두드려 이르기를 나의 누이, 나의 사랑, 나의 비둘기, 나의 완전한 자야 문을 열어 다오 내 머리에는 이슬이, 내 머리털에는 밤이슬이 가득하였다 하는구나
2 I slept, but my heart was awake.A sound! My beloved isknocking.Open to me, mysister, mylove,mydove, myperfect one,for my head is wet with dew,mylocks with the drops of the night.
3 내가 옷을 벗었으니 어찌 다시 입겠으며 내가 발을 씻었으니 어찌 다시 더럽히랴마는
3 I had put off my garment;how could I put it on?I hadbathed my feet;how could I soil them?
4 내 사랑하는 자가 문틈으로 손을 들이밀매 내 마음이 움직여서
4 My beloved put his hand to the latch,and my heart was thrilled within me.
5 일어나 내 사랑하는 자를 위하여 문을 열 때 몰약이 내 손에서, 몰약의 즙이 내 손가락에서 문빗장에 떨어지는구나
5 I arose to open to my beloved,and my hands dripped with myrrh,my fingers withliquid myrrh,on the handles of the bolt.
6 내가 내 사랑하는 자를 위하여 문을 열었으나 그는 벌써 물러갔네 그가 말할 때에 내 혼이 나갔구나 내가 그를 찾아도 못 만났고 불러도 응답이 없었노라
6 I opened to my beloved,but my beloved had turned and gone.My soul failed me when hespoke.I sought him, but found him not;I called him, but he gave no answer.
7 성 안을 순찰하는 자들이 나를 만나매 나를 쳐서 상하게 하였고 성벽을 파수하는 자들이 나의 겉옷을 벗겨 가졌도다
7 The watchmen found meas they went about in the city;they beat me, they bruised me,they took away my veil,those watchmen of the walls.
8 예루살렘 딸들아 너희에게 내가 부탁한다 너희가 내 사랑하는 자를 만나거든 내가 사랑하므로 병이 났다고 하려무나
8 Iadjure you, Odaughters of Jerusalem,if you find my beloved,that you tell himI am sick with love.
9 여자들 가운데에 어여쁜 자야 너의 사랑하는 자가 남의 사랑하는 자보다 나은 것이 무엇인가 너의 사랑하는 자가 남의 사랑하는 자보다 나은 것이 무엇이기에 이같이 우리에게 부탁하는가
9 What is your beloved more than another beloved,Omost beautiful among women?What is your beloved more than another beloved,that you thusadjure us?
10 내 사랑하는 자는 희고도 붉어 많은 사람 가운데에 뛰어나구나
10 My beloved is radiant andruddy,distinguished among ten thousand.
11 머리는 순금 같고 머리털은 고불고불하고 까마귀 같이 검구나
11 His head is the finest gold;his locks are wavy,black as a raven.
12 눈은 시냇가의 비둘기 같은데 우유로 씻은 듯하고 아름답게도 박혔구나
12 Hiseyes are like dovesbeside streams of water,bathed in milk,sitting beside a full pool.
13 뺨은 향기로운 꽃밭 같고 향기로운 풀언덕과도 같고 입술은 백합화 같고 몰약의 즙이 뚝뚝 떨어지는구나
13 Hischeeks are likebeds of spices,mounds of sweet-smelling herbs.His lips arelilies,drippingliquid myrrh.
14 손은 황옥을 물린 황금 노리개 같고 몸은 아로새긴 상아에 청옥을 입힌 듯하구나
14 His arms are rods of gold,set withjewels.His body is polished ivory,bedecked withsapphires.
15 다리는 순금 받침에 세운 화반석 기둥 같고 생김새는 레바논 같으며 백향목처럼 보기 좋고
15 His legs are alabaster columns,set on bases of gold.His appearance is likeLebanon,choice as the cedars.
16 입은 심히 달콤하니 그 전체가 사랑스럽구나 예루살렘 딸들아 이는 내 사랑하는 자요 나의 친구로다
16 Hismouthis most sweet,and he is altogether desirable.This is my beloved and this is my friend,Odaughters of Jerusalem.
6장
1 여자들 가운데에서 어여쁜 자야 네 사랑하는 자가 어디로 갔는가 네 사랑하는 자가 어디로 돌아갔는가 우리가 너와 함께 찾으리라
1 Where has your beloved gone,Omost beautiful among women?Where has your beloved turned,that we may seek him with you?
2 내 사랑하는 자가 자기 동산으로 내려가 향기로운 꽃밭에 이르러서 동산 가운데에서 양 떼를 먹이며 백합화를 꺾는구나
2 My beloved has gone down to hisgardentothe beds of spices,tograzein the gardensand to gatherlilies.
3 나는 내 사랑하는 자에게 속하였고 내 사랑하는 자는 내게 속하였으며 그가 백합화 가운데에서 그 양 떼를 먹이는도다
3 I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine;he grazes among the lilies.
4 내 사랑아 너는 디르사 같이 어여쁘고, 예루살렘 같이 곱고, 깃발을 세운 군대 같이 당당하구나
4 You are beautiful asTirzah,my love,lovely asJerusalem,awesome as an army with banners.
5 네 눈이 나를 놀라게 하니 돌이켜 나를 보지 말라 네 머리털은 길르앗 산 기슭에 누운 염소 떼 같고
5 Turn away your eyes from me,for they overwhelm me&emdash;Your hair is like a flock of goatsleaping down the slopes of Gilead.
6 네 이는 목욕하고 나오는 암양 떼 같으니 쌍태를 가졌으며 새끼 없는 것은 하나도 없구나
6 Your teeth are like a flock of ewesthat have come up from the washing;all of them bear twins;not one among them has lost its young.
7 너울 속의 네 뺨은 석류 한 쪽 같구나
7 Your cheeks are like halves of a pomegranatebehind your veil.
8 왕비가 육십 명이요 후궁이 팔십 명이요 시녀가 무수하되
8 There aresixtyqueens and eightyconcubines,andvirgins without number.
9 내 비둘기, 내 완전한 자는 하나뿐이로구나 그는 그의 어머니의 외딸이요 그 낳은 자가 귀중하게 여기는 자로구나 여자들이 그를 보고 복된 자라 하고 왕비와 후궁들도 그를 칭찬하는구나
9 Mydove, myperfect one, is the only one,the only one of her mother,pure toher who bore her.The young women saw her and called her blessed;the queens andconcubines also, and they praised her.
10 아침 빛 같이 뚜렷하고 달 같이 아름답고 해 같이 맑고 깃발을 세운 군대 같이 당당한 여자가 누구인가
10 Who is this who looks down like the dawn,beautiful as the moon, bright as the sun,awesome as an army with banners?
11 골짜기의 푸른 초목을 보려고 포도나무가 순이 났는가 석류나무가 꽃이 피었는가 알려고 내가 호도 동산으로 내려갔을 때에
11 I went down to the nut orchardto look atthe blossoms of the valley,to see whether the vines had budded,whether the pomegranates were in bloom.
12 부지중에 내 마음이 나를 내 귀한 백성의 수레 가운데에 이르게 하였구나
12 Before I was aware, my desire set meamongthe chariots of my kinsman, a prince.
13 돌아오고 돌아오라 술람미 여자야 돌아오고 돌아오라 우리가 너를 보게 하라 너희가 어찌하여 마하나임에서 춤추는 것을 보는 것처럼 술람미 여자를 보려느냐
13 Return, return, OShulammite,return, return, that we may look upon you.HeWhy should you look uponthe Shulammite,as upona dance beforetwo armies?고린도후서
9장
1 성도를 섬기는 일에 대하여는 내가 너희에게 쓸 필요가 없나니
1 Nowit is superfluous for me to write to you aboutthe ministry for the saints,
2 이는 내가 너희의 원함을 앎이라 내가 너희를 위하여 마게도냐인들에게 아가야에서는 일 년 전부터 준비하였다는 것을 자랑하였는데 과연 너희의 열심이 퍽 많은 사람들을 분발하게 하였느니라
2 for I know your readiness,of which I boast about you to the people of Macedonia, saying that Achaia has been readysince last year. And your zeal has stirred up most of them.
3 그런데 이 형제들을 보낸 것은 이 일에 너희를 위한 우리의 자랑이 헛되지 않고 내가 말한 것 같이 준비하게 하려 함이라
3 ButI am sendingthe brothers so that our boasting about you may not prove empty in this matter, so that you may be ready,as I said you would be.
4 혹 마게도냐인들이 나와 함께 가서 너희가 준비하지 아니한 것을 보면 너희는 고사하고 우리가 이 믿던 것에 부끄러움을 당할까 두려워하노라
4 Otherwise, if some Macedonianscome with me and find that you are not ready, we would be humiliated&emdash;to say nothing of you&emdash;for being so confident.
5 그러므로 내가 이 형제들로 먼저 너희에게 가서 너희가 전에 약속한 연보를 미리 준비하게 하도록 권면하는 것이 필요한 줄 생각하였노니 이렇게 준비하여야 참 연보답고 억지가 아니니라
5 So I thought it necessary to urge the brothers to go on ahead to you and arrange in advance for thegiftyou have promised, so that it may be readyas a willing gift,not as an exaction.
