7장
1 귀한 자의 딸아 신을 신은 네 발이 어찌 그리 아름다운가 네 넓적다리는 둥글어서 숙련공의 손이 만든 구슬 꿰미 같구나
1 How beautiful are your feet in sandals,Onoble daughter!Your rounded thighs are likejewels,the work ofa master hand.
2 배꼽은 섞은 포도주를 가득히 부은 둥근 잔 같고 허리는 백합화로 두른 밀단 같구나
2 Your navel is a rounded bowlthat never lacks mixed wine.Your belly is a heap of wheat,encircled withlilies.
3 두 유방은 암사슴의 쌍태 새끼 같고
3 Your two breasts are like two fawns,twins of a gazelle.
4 목은 상아 망대 같구나 눈은 헤스본 바드랍빔 문 곁에 있는 연못 같고 코는 다메섹을 향한 레바논 망대 같구나
4 Yourneck is like an ivory tower.Youreyes are pools inHeshbon,by the gate of Bath-rabbim.Your nose is like a tower ofLebanon,which looks towardDamascus.
5 머리는 갈멜 산 같고 드리운 머리털은 자주 빛이 있으니 왕이 그 머리카락에 매이었구나
5 Your head crowns you likeCarmel,and yourflowing locks are like purple;a king is held captive in the tresses.
6 사랑아 네가 어찌 그리 아름다운지, 어찌 그리 화창한지 즐겁게 하는구나
6 How beautiful andpleasant you are,O loved one, with all your delights!
7 네 키는 종려나무 같고 네 유방은 그 열매송이 같구나
7 Your stature is like a palm tree,and your breasts are like its clusters.
8 내가 말하기를 종려나무에 올라가서 그 가지를 잡으리라 하였나니 네 유방은 포도송이 같고 네 콧김은 사과 냄새 같고
8 I say I will climb the palm treeand lay hold of its fruit.Oh may your breasts be likeclusters of the vine,and the scent of your breath like apples,
9 네 입은 좋은 포도주 같을 것이니라 이 포도주는 내 사랑하는 자를 위하여 미끄럽게 흘러내려서 자는 자의 입을 움직이게 하느니라
9 and yourmouthlike the best wine.SheIt goes down smoothly for my beloved,gliding over lips and teeth.
10 나는 내 사랑하는 자에게 속하였도다 그가 나를 사모하는구나
10 I am my beloved's,and his desire is for me.
11 내 사랑하는 자야 우리가 함께 들로 가서 동네에서 유숙하자
11 Come, my beloved,let us go out into the fieldsand lodge in the villages;
12 우리가 일찍이 일어나서 포도원으로 가서 포도 움이 돋았는지, 꽃술이 퍼졌는지, 석류 꽃이 피었는지 보자 거기에서 내가 내 사랑을 네게 주리라
12 let us go out early to the vineyardsand see whether the vines have budded,whetherthe grape blossoms have openedand the pomegranates are in bloom.There I will give you my love.
13 합환채가 향기를 뿜어내고 우리의 문 앞에는 여러 가지 귀한 열매가 새 것, 묵은 것으로 마련되었구나 내가 내 사랑하는 자 너를 위하여 쌓아 둔 것이로다
13 The mandrakes give forth fragrance,and beside our doors are all choice fruits,new as well as old,which I have laid up for you, O my beloved.
8장
1 네가 내 어머니의 젖을 먹은 오라비 같았더라면 내가 밖에서 너를 만날 때에 입을 맞추어도 나를 업신여길 자가 없었을 것이라
1 Oh that you were like a brother to mewho nursed at my mother's breasts!If I found you outside, I would kiss you,and none would despise me.
2 내가 너를 이끌어 내 어머니 집에 들이고 네게서 교훈을 받았으리라 나는 향기로운 술 곧 석류즙으로 네게 마시게 하겠고
2 I would lead you andbring youinto the house of my mother&emdash;she who used to teach me.I would give youspiced wine to drink,the juice of my pomegranate.
3 너는 왼팔로는 내 머리를 고이고 오른손으로는 나를 안았으리라
3 His left hand is under my head,and his right hand embraces me!
4 예루살렘 딸들아 내가 너희에게 부탁한다 내 사랑하는 자가 원하기 전에는 흔들지 말며 깨우지 말지니라
4 Iadjure you, Odaughters of Jerusalem,that you not stir up or awaken loveuntil it pleases.
5 그의 사랑하는 자를 의지하고 거친 들에서 올라오는 여자가 누구인가 너로 말미암아 네 어머니가 고생한 곳 너를 낳은 자가 애쓴 그 곳 사과나무 아래에서 내가 너를 깨웠노라
5 Who is that coming up from the wilderness,leaning on her beloved?Under the apple tree I awakened you.There your mother was in labor with you;there she who bore you was in labor.
6 너는 나를 도장 같이 마음에 품고 도장 같이 팔에 두라 사랑은 죽음 같이 강하고 질투는 스올 같이 잔인하며 불길 같이 일어나니 그 기세가 여호와의 불과 같으니라
6 Set me as a seal upon your heart,asa seal upon your arm,forlove is strong as death,jealousyis fierce as the grave.Its flashes are flashes of fire,the veryflame of theLord.
7 많은 물도 이 사랑을 끄지 못하겠고 홍수라도 삼키지 못하나니 사람이 그의 온 가산을 다 주고 사랑과 바꾸려 할지라도 오히려 멸시를 받으리라
7 Many waters cannot quench love,neither can floods drown it.If a man offered for loveall the wealth of hishouse,hewould be utterly despised.
8 우리에게 있는 작은 누이는 아직도 유방이 없구나 그가 청혼을 받는 날에는 우리가 그를 위하여 무엇을 할까
8 We have a little sister,and shehas no breasts.What shall we do for our sisteron the day when she is spoken for?
9 그가 성벽이라면 우리는 은 망대를 그 위에 세울 것이요 그가 문이라면 우리는 백향목 판자로 두르리라
9 If she is a wall,we will build on her a battlement of silver,but if she is a door,we will enclose her withboards of cedar.
10 나는 성벽이요 내 유방은 망대 같으니 그러므로 나는 그가 보기에 화평을 얻은 자 같구나
10 I was a wall,and mybreasts were like towers;then I was in his eyesas one who findspeace.
11 솔로몬이 바알하몬에 포도원이 있어 지키는 자들에게 맡겨 두고 그들로 각기 그 열매로 말미암아 은 천을 바치게 하였구나
11 Solomon hada vineyard at Baal-hamon;helet out the vineyard tokeepers;each one was to bring for its fruita thousand pieces of silver.
12 솔로몬 너는 천을 얻겠고 열매를 지키는 자도 이백을 얻으려니와 내게 속한 내 포도원은 내 앞에 있구나
12 My vineyard, my very own, is before me;you, O Solomon, may have the thousand,andthe keepers of the fruit two hundred.
13 너 동산에 거주하는 자야 친구들이 네 소리에 귀를 기울이니 내가 듣게 하려무나
13 O you who dwell in the gardens,withcompanions listening for your voice;let me hear it.
14 내 사랑하는 자야 너는 빨리 달리라 향기로운 산 위에 있는 노루와도 같고 어린 사슴과도 같아라
14 Make haste, my beloved,and belike a gazelleor a young stagonthe mountains of spices.고린도후서
9장
6 이것이 곧 적게 심는 자는 적게 거두고 많이 심는 자는 많이 거둔다 하는 말이로다
6 The point is this:whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifullywill also reap bountifully.
7 각각 그 마음에 정한 대로 할 것이요 인색함으로나 억지로 하지 말지니 하나님은 즐겨 내는 자를 사랑하시느니라
7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart,not reluctantly or under compulsion, forGod loves a cheerful giver.
8 하나님이 능히 모든 은혜를 너희에게 넘치게 하시나니 이는 너희로 모든 일에 항상 모든 것이 넉넉하여 모든 착한 일을 넘치게 하게 하려 하심이라
8 AndGod is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiencyin all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.
9 기록된 바 그가 흩어 가난한 자들에게 주었으니 그의 의가 영원토록 있느니라 함과 같으니라
9 As it is written,He has distributed freely, he has given to the poor;his righteousness endures forever.
10 심는 자에게 씨와 먹을 양식을 주시는 이가 너희 심을 것을 주사 풍성하게 하시고 너희 의의 열매를 더하게 하시리니
10 He who suppliesseed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing andincrease the harvest of your righteousness.
11 너희가 모든 일에 넉넉하여 너그럽게 연보를 함은 그들이 우리로 말미암아 하나님께 감사하게 하는 것이라
11 You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, whichthrough us will produce thanksgiving to God.
12 이 봉사의 직무가 성도들의 부족한 것을 보충할 뿐 아니라 사람들이 하나님께 드리는 많은 감사로 말미암아 넘쳤느니라
12 For the ministry of this service is not only supplyingthe needs of the saints but is also overflowing in many thanksgivings to God.
13 이 직무로 증거를 삼아 너희가 그리스도의 복음을 진실히 믿고 복종하는 것과 그들과 모든 사람을 섬기는 너희의 후한 연보로 말미암아 하나님께 영광을 돌리고
13 By their approval of this service,theywill glorify God because of your submission that comes from yourconfession of the gospel of Christ, and the generosity of your contribution for them and for all others,
14 또 그들이 너희를 위하여 간구하며 하나님이 너희에게 주신 지극한 은혜로 말미암아 너희를 사모하느니라
14 while they long for you and pray for you, because of the surpassing grace of God upon you.
15 말할 수 없는 그의 은사로 말미암아 하나님께 감사하노라
15 Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift!
