이사야
7장
10 여호와께서 또 아하스에게 말씀하여 이르시되
10 Again theLordspoke to Ahaz,
11 너는 네 하나님 여호와께 한 징조를 구하되 깊은 데에서든지 높은 데에서든지 구하라 하시니
11 Aska sign of theLordyourGod; let it be deep as Sheol or high as heaven.
12 아하스가 이르되 나는 구하지 아니하겠나이다 나는 여호와를 시험하지 아니하겠나이다 한지라
12 But Ahaz said,I will not ask, and I will not put theLordto the test.
13 이사야가 이르되 다윗의 집이여 원하건대 들을지어다 너희가 사람을 괴롭히고서 그것을 작은 일로 여겨 또 나의 하나님을 괴롭히려 하느냐
13 And hesaid,Hear then, O house of David! Is it too little for you to weary men, that youweary my God also?
14 그러므로 주께서 친히 징조를 너희에게 주실 것이라 보라 처녀가 잉태하여 아들을 낳을 것이요 그의 이름을 임마누엘이라 하리라
14 Therefore theLord himself will give you a sign.Behold, thevirgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his nameImmanuel.
15 그가 악을 버리며 선을 택할 줄 알 때가 되면 엉긴 젖과 꿀을 먹을 것이라
15 He shall eatcurds and honey when he knows how to refuse the evil and choose the good.
16 대저 이 아이가 악을 버리며 선을 택할 줄 알기 전에 네가 미워하는 두 왕의 땅이 황폐하게 되리라
16 For before the boy knows how to refuse the evil and choose the good, the land whose two kings you dread will bedeserted.
17 여호와께서 에브라임이 유다를 떠날 때부터 당하여 보지 못한 날을 너와 네 백성과 네 아버지 집에 임하게 하시리니 곧 앗수르 왕이 오는 날이니라
17 TheLordwill bring upon you and upon your people and upon your father's house such days as have not come since the day thatEphraim departed from Judah&emdash;the king of Assyria.
18 그 날에는 여호와께서 애굽 하수에서 먼 곳의 파리와 앗수르 땅의 벌을 부르시리니
18 In that day theLordwillwhistle for the fly that is at the end of the streams of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.
19 다 와서 거친 골짜기와 바위 틈과 가시나무 울타리와 모든 초장에 앉으리라
19 And they will all come and settle in the steep ravines, andin the clefts of the rocks, and on all the thornbushes, and on all the pastures.
20 그 날에는 주께서 하수 저쪽에서 세내어 온 삭도 곧 앗수르 왕으로 네 백성의 머리 털과 발 털을 미실 것이요 수염도 깎으시리라
20 In that daythe Lord willshave with a razor that ishired beyondthe River&emdash;with the king of Assyria&emdash;the head and the hair of the feet, and it will sweep away the beard also.
21 그 날에는 사람이 한 어린 암소와 두 양을 기르리니
21 In that day a man will keep alive a young cow and two sheep,
22 그것들이 내는 젖이 많으므로 엉긴 젖을 먹을 것이라 그 땅 가운데에 남아 있는 자는 엉긴 젖과 꿀을 먹으리라
22 and because of the abundance of milk that they give, he will eat curds, for everyone who is left in the land will eatcurds and honey.
23 그 날에는 천 그루에 은 천 개의 가치가 있는 포도나무가 있던 곳마다 찔레와 가시가 날 것이라
23 In that day every place where there used to be a thousand vines, worth a thousand shekelsof silver, will becomebriers and thorns.
24 온 땅에 찔레와 가시가 있으므로 화살과 활을 가지고 그리로 갈 것이요
24 With bow and arrows a man will come there, for all the land will be briers and thorns.
25 보습으로 갈던 모든 산에도 찔레와 가시 때문에 두려워서 그리로 가지 못할 것이요 그 땅은 소를 풀어 놓으며 양이 밟는 곳이 되리라
25 And as for all the hills that used to be hoed with a hoe, you will not come there for fearof briers and thorns, but they will become a place where cattle are let loose and where sheep tread.고린도후서
11장
30 내가 부득불 자랑할진대 내가 약한 것을 자랑하리라
30 If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness.
31 주 예수의 아버지 영원히 찬송할 하나님이 내가 거짓말 아니하는 것을 아시느니라
31 The God and Father of the Lord Jesus,he who is blessed forever,knows that I am not lying.
32 다메섹에서 아레다 왕의 고관이 나를 잡으려고 다메섹 성을 지켰으나
32 At Damascus, the governor under King Aretaswas guarding the city of Damascus in order to seize me,
33 나는 광주리를 타고 들창문으로 성벽을 내려가 그 손에서 벗어났노라
33 but I was let down in a basket through a window in the wall and escaped his hands.
