이사야
10장
1 불의한 법령을 만들며 불의한 말을 기록하며
1 Woe to those whodecree iniquitous decrees,and the writers whokeep writing oppression,
2 가난한 자를 불공평하게 판결하여 가난한 내 백성의 권리를 박탈하며 과부에게 토색하고 고아의 것을 약탈하는 자는 화 있을진저
2 to turn aside the needy from justiceandto rob the poor of my people of their right,that widows may be their spoil,and that they may make the fatherless their prey!
3 벌하시는 날과 멀리서 오는 환난 때에 너희가 어떻게 하려느냐 누구에게로 도망하여 도움을 구하겠으며 너희의 영화를 어느 곳에 두려느냐
3 What will you do onthe day of punishment,in the ruin that will comefrom afar?To whom will you flee for help,and where will you leave your wealth?
4 포로 된 자 아래에 구푸리며 죽임을 당한 자 아래에 엎드러질 따름이니라 그럴지라도 여호와의 진노가 돌아서지 아니하며 그의 손이 여전히 펴져 있으리라
4 Nothing remains but to crouch among the prisonersor fall among the slain.For all this his anger has not turned away,and his hand is stretched out still.
5 앗수르 사람은 화 있을진저 그는 내 진노의 막대기요 그 손의 몽둥이는 내 분노라
5 Ah, Assyria,the rod of my anger;the staff in their hands is my fury!
6 내가 그를 보내어 경건하지 아니한 나라를 치게 하며 내가 그에게 명령하여 나를 노하게 한 백성을 쳐서 탈취하며 노략하게 하며 또 그들을 길거리의 진흙 같이 짓밟게 하려 하거니와
6 Against agodless nation I send him,and against the people of my wrath I command him,to takespoil and seize plunder,and totread them down like the mire of the streets.
7 그의 뜻은 이같지 아니하며 그의 마음의 생각도 이같지 아니하고 다만 그의 마음은 허다한 나라를 파괴하며 멸절하려 하는도다
7 But hedoes not so intend,and his heart does not so think;but it is in his heart to destroy,and to cut off nations not a few;
8 그가 이르기를 내 고관들은 다 왕들이 아니냐
8 for he says:Are not my commanders all kings?
9 갈로는 갈그미스와 같지 아니하며 하맛은 아르밧과 같지 아니하며 사마리아는 다메섹과 같지 아니하냐
9 Is notCalno likeCarchemish?Is notHamath likeArpad?Is notSamaria like Damascus?
10 내 손이 이미 우상을 섬기는 나라들에 미쳤나니 그들이 조각한 신상들이 예루살렘과 사마리아의 신상들보다 뛰어났느니라
10 As my hand has reached tothe kingdoms of the idols,whose carved images were greater than those of Jerusalem and Samaria,
11 내가 사마리아와 그의 우상들에게 행함 같이 예루살렘과 그의 우상들에게 행하지 못하겠느냐 하는도다
11 shall I not do to Jerusalem andher idolsas I have done to Samaria and her images?
12 그러므로 주께서 주의 일을 시온 산과 예루살렘에 다 행하신 후에 앗수르 왕의 완악한 마음의 열매와 높은 눈의 자랑을 벌하시리라
12 When the Lord has finished all his work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem,hewill punish the speech of the arrogant heart of the king of Assyria and the boastful look in his eyes.
13 그의 말에 나는 내 손의 힘과 내 지혜로 이 일을 행하였나니 나는 총명한 자라 열국의 경계선을 걷어치웠고 그들의 재물을 약탈하였으며 또 용감한 자처럼 위에 거주한 자들을 낮추었으며
13 For he says:By the strength of my hand I have done it,and by my wisdom, for I have understanding;I remove the boundaries of peoples,and plunder their treasures;like a bull I bring down those who sit on thrones.
14 내 손으로 열국의 재물을 얻은 것은 새의 보금자리를 얻음 같고 온 세계를 얻은 것은 내버린 알을 주움 같았으나 날개를 치거나 입을 벌리거나 지저귀는 것이 하나도 없었다 하는도다
14 My hand has found like a nestthe wealth of the peoples;and as one gathers eggs that have been forsaken,so I have gathered all the earth;and there was none that moved a wingor opened the mouth or chirped.
15 도끼가 어찌 찍는 자에게 스스로 자랑하겠으며 톱이 어찌 켜는 자에게 스스로 큰 체하겠느냐 이는 막대기가 자기를 드는 자를 움직이려 하며 몽둥이가 나무 아닌 사람을 들려 함과 같음이로다
15 Shallthe axe boast over him who hews with it,or the saw magnify itself against him who wields it?As if a rod should wield him who lifts it,or as if a staff should lift him who is not wood!
16 그러므로 주 만군의 여호와께서 살진 자를 파리하게 하시며 그의 영화 아래에 불이 붙는 것 같이 맹렬히 타게 하실 것이라
16 Therefore the LordGodof hostswill send wasting sickness among hisstout warriors,and under his glorya burning will be kindled,like the burning of fire.
17 이스라엘의 빛은 불이 되고 그의 거룩하신 이는 불꽃이 되실 것이니라 하루 사이에 그의 가시와 찔레가 소멸되며
17 The light of Israel will become a fire,andhis Holy One a flame,andit will burn and devourhis thorns and briersin one day.
18 그의 숲과 기름진 밭의 영광이 전부 소멸되리니 병자가 점점 쇠약하여 감 같을 것이라
18 The glory ofhis forest and of hisfruitful landtheLordwill destroy, both soul and body,and it will be as when a sick man wastes away.
19 그의 숲에 남은 나무의 수가 희소하여 아이라도 능히 계수할 수 있으리라
19 The remnant of the trees of his forest will be so fewthat a child can write them down.
20 그 날에 이스라엘의 남은 자와 야곱 족속의 피난한 자들이 다시는 자기를 친 자를 의지하지 아니하고 이스라엘의 거룩하신 이 여호와를 진실하게 의지하리니
20 In that daythe remnant of Israel and the survivors of the house of Jacob will no morelean on him who struck them, butwill lean on theLord, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.
21 남은 자 곧 야곱의 남은 자가 능하신 하나님께로 돌아올 것이라
21 A remnant will return, the remnant of Jacob,to the mighty God.
22 이스라엘이여 네 백성이 바다의 모래 같을지라도 남은 자만 돌아오리니 넘치는 공의로 파멸이 작정되었음이라
22 For though your people Israel be as the sand of the sea,only a remnant of them will return.Destruction is decreed, overflowing with righteousness.
23 이미 작정된 파멸을 주 만군의 여호와께서 온 세계 중에 끝까지 행하시리라
23 For the LordGodof hosts will make a full end, as decreed, in the midst of all the earth.
24 그러므로 주 만군의 여호와께서 이르시되 시온에 거주하는 내 백성들아 앗수르가 애굽이 한 것처럼 막대기로 너를 때리며 몽둥이를 들어 너를 칠지라도 그를 두려워하지 말라
24 Therefore thus says the LordGodof hosts:O my people,who dwell in Zion,be not afraid of the Assyrians when they strike with the rod and lift up their staff against you asthe Egyptians did.
25 내가 오래지 아니하여 네게는 분을 그치고 그들은 내 진노로 멸하리라 하시도다
25 Forin a very little while my fury will come to an end, and my anger will be directed to their destruction.
26 만군의 여호와께서 채찍을 들어 그를 치시되 오렙 바위에서 미디안을 쳐죽이신 것 같이 하실 것이며 막대기를 드시되 바다를 향하여 애굽에서 하신 것 같이 하실 것이라
26 AndtheLordof hosts will wield against them a whip, as when he struckMidianat the rock of Oreb. And his staff will be over the sea, and he will lift itas he did in Egypt.
27 그 날에 그의 무거운 짐이 네 어깨에서 떠나고 그의 멍에가 네 목에서 벗어지되 기름진 까닭에 멍에가 부러지리라
27 And in that dayhis burden will depart from your shoulder, andhis yoke from your neck; and the yoke will be broken because of the fat.고린도후서
12장
11 내가 어리석은 자가 되었으나 너희가 억지로 시킨 것이니 나는 너희에게 칭찬을 받아야 마땅하도다 내가 아무 것도 아니나 지극히 크다는 사도들보다 조금도 부족하지 아니하니라
11 I have been a fool! You forced me to it, for I ought to have been commended by you. For I wasnot at all inferior to these super-apostles,even though I am nothing.
12 사도의 표가 된 것은 내가 너희 가운데서 모든 참음과 표적과 기사와 능력을 행한 것이라
12 The signs of a true apostle were performed among youwith utmost patience, with signs and wonders and mighty works.
13 내 자신이 너희에게 폐를 끼치지 아니한 일밖에 다른 교회보다 부족하게 한 것이 무엇이 있느냐 너희는 나의 이 공평하지 못한 것을 용서하라
13 For in what were you less favored than the rest of the churches, except thatI myself did not burden you? Forgive me this wrong!
14 보라 내가 이제 세 번째 너희에게 가기를 준비하였으나 너희에게 폐를 끼치지 아니하리라 내가 구하는 것은 너희의 재물이 아니요 오직 너희니라 어린 아이가 부모를 위하여 재물을 저축하는 것이 아니요 부모가 어린 아이를 위하여 하느니라
14 Herefor the third time I am ready to come to you. And I will not be a burden, forI seek not what is yours but you. Forchildren are not obligated to save up for their parents, butparents for their children.
15 내가 너희 영혼을 위하여 크게 기뻐하므로 재물을 사용하고 또 내 자신까지도 내어 주리니 너희를 더욱 사랑할수록 나는 사랑을 덜 받겠느냐
15 I will most gladly spend and be spent for your souls. IfI love you more, am I to be loved less?
16 하여간 어떤 이의 말이 내가 너희에게 짐을 지우지는 아니하였을지라도 교활한 자가 되어 너희를 속임수로 취하였다 하니
16 But granting thatI myself did not burden you, I was crafty, you say, and got the better of you by deceit.
17 내가 너희에게 보낸 자 중에 누구로 너희의 이득을 취하더냐
17 Did I take advantage of youthrough any of those whom I sent to you?
18 내가 디도를 권하고 함께 한 형제를 보내었으니 디도가 너희의 이득을 취하더냐 우리가 동일한 성령으로 행하지 아니하더냐 동일한 보조로 하지 아니하더냐
18 I urged Titus to go, and sentthe brother with him. Did Titus take advantage of you? Did we not act in the same spirit? Did we not take the same steps?
