이사야
14장
3 여호와께서 너를 슬픔과 곤고와 및 네가 수고하는 고역에서 놓으시고 안식을 주시는 날에
3 When theLordhas given you rest from your pain and turmoil and the hard service with which you were made to serve,
4 너는 바벨론 왕에 대하여 이 노래를 지어 이르기를 압제하던 자가 어찌 그리 그쳤으며 강포한 성이 어찌 그리 폐하였는고
4 you will take up thistaunt against the king of Babylon:How the oppressor has ceased,the insolent furyceased!
5 여호와께서 악인의 몽둥이와 통치자의 규를 꺾으셨도다
5 TheLordhas broken thestaff of the wicked,thescepter of rulers,
6 그들이 분내어 여러 민족을 치되 치기를 마지아니하였고 노하여 열방을 억압하여도 그 억압을 막을 자 없었더니
6 that struck the peoples in wrathwith unceasing blows,that ruled the nations in angerwith unrelenting persecution.
7 이제는 온 땅이 조용하고 평온하니 무리가 소리 높여 노래하는도다
7 The whole earth is at rest and quiet;they break forth into singing.
8 향나무와 레바논의 백향목도 너로 말미암아 기뻐하여 이르기를 네가 넘어져 있은즉 올라와서 우리를 베어 버릴 자 없다 하는도다
8 The cypresses rejoice at you,the cedars of Lebanon, saying,Since you were laid low,no woodcutter comes up against us.
9 아래의 스올이 너로 말미암아 소동하여 네가 오는 것을 영접하되 그것이 세상의 모든 영웅을 너로 말미암아 움직이게 하며 열방의 모든 왕을 그들의 왕좌에서 일어서게 하므로
9 Sheol beneath is stirred upto meet you when you come;it rouses the shades to greet you,all who were leaders of the earth;it raises from their thronesall who were kings of the nations.
10 그들은 다 네게 말하여 이르기를 너도 우리 같이 연약하게 되었느냐 너도 우리 같이 되었느냐 하리로다
10 All of them will answerand say to you:You too have become as weak as we!You have become like us!
11 네 영화가 스올에 떨어졌음이여 네 비파 소리까지로다 구더기가 네 아래에 깔림이여 지렁이가 너를 덮었도다
11 Your pomp is brought down to Sheol,the sound of your harps;maggots are laid as a bed beneath you,and worms are your covers.
12 너 아침의 아들 계명성이여 어찌 그리 하늘에서 떨어졌으며 너 열국을 엎은 자여 어찌 그리 땅에 찍혔는고
12 Howyou are fallen from heaven,O Day Star,son of Dawn!How you are cut down to the ground,you who laid the nations low!
13 네가 네 마음에 이르기를 내가 하늘에 올라 하나님의 뭇 별 위에 내 자리를 높이리라 내가 북극 집회의 산 위에 앉으리라
13 You said in your heart,I will ascend to heaven;above the stars of GodI will set my throne on high;I will sit on the mount of assemblyin the far reaches of the north;
14 가장 높은 구름에 올라가 지극히 높은 이와 같아지리라 하는도다
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds;I will make myself like the Most High.
15 그러나 이제 네가 스올 곧 구덩이 맨 밑에 떨어짐을 당하리로다
15 But you are brought down to Sheol,to the far reaches of the pit.
16 너를 보는 이가 주목하여 너를 자세히 살펴 보며 말하기를 이 사람이 땅을 진동시키며 열국을 놀라게 하며
16 Those who see you will stare at youand ponder over you:Is thisthe man who made the earth tremble,who shook kingdoms,
17 세계를 황무하게 하며 성읍을 파괴하며 그에게 사로잡힌 자들을 집으로 놓아 보내지 아니하던 자가 아니냐 하리로다
17 who made the world like a desertand overthrew its cities,who did not let his prisoners go home?
18 열방의 모든 왕들은 모두 각각 자기 집에서 영광 중에 자건마는
18 All the kings of the nations lie in glory,each in his own tomb;
19 오직 너는 자기 무덤에서 내쫓겼으니 가증한 나무 가지 같고 칼에 찔려 돌구덩이에 떨어진 주검들에 둘러싸였으니 밟힌 시체와 같도다
19 but you are cast out, away from your grave,like a loathed branch,clothed with the slain, those pierced by the sword,who go down to the stones of the pit,like a dead body trampled underfoot.
20 네가 네 땅을 망하게 하였고 네 백성을 죽였으므로 그들과 함께 안장되지 못하나니 악을 행하는 자들의 후손은 영원히 이름이 불려지지 아니하리로다 할지니라
20 You will not be joined with them in burial,because you have destroyed your land,you have slain your people.Maythe offspring of evildoersnevermore be named!
21 너희는 그들의 조상들의 죄악으로 말미암아 그의 자손 도륙하기를 준비하여 그들이 일어나 땅을 차지하여 성읍들로 세상을 가득하게 하지 못하게 하라
21 Prepare slaughter for his sonsbecause of the guilt of their fathers,lest they rise and possess the earth,and fill the face of the world with cities.
22 만군의 여호와께서 말씀하시되 내가 일어나 그들을 쳐서 이름과 남은 자와 아들과 후손을 바벨론에서 끊으리라 나 여호와의 말이니라
22 I will rise up against them,declares theLordof hosts,and will cut off from Babylon name andremnant,descendants and posterity,declares theLord.
23 내가 또 그것이 고슴도치의 굴혈과 물 웅덩이가 되게 하고 또 멸망의 빗자루로 청소하리라 나 만군의 여호와의 말이니라 하시니라
23 And I will make it a possession of thehedgehog,and pools of water, and I will sweep it with the broom of destruction,declares theLordof hosts.
24 만군의 여호와께서 맹세하여 이르시되 내가 생각한 것이 반드시 되며 내가 경영한 것을 반드시 이루리라
24 TheLordof hosts has sworn:As I have planned,so shall it be,and as I have purposed,so shall it stand,
25 내가 앗수르를 나의 땅에서 파하며 나의 산에서 그것을 짓밟으리니 그 때에 그의 멍에가 이스라엘에게서 떠나고 그의 짐이 그들의 어깨에서 벗어질 것이라
25 thatI will break the Assyrian in my land,and on my mountains trample him underfoot;andhis yoke shall depart from them,andhis burden from their shoulder.
26 이것이 온 세계를 향하여 정한 경영이며 이것이 열방을 향하여 편 손이라 하셨나니
26 This is the purpose that is purposedconcerning the whole earth,and this isthe hand that is stretched outover all the nations.
27 만군의 여호와께서 경영하셨은즉 누가 능히 그것을 폐하며 그의 손을 펴셨은즉 누가 능히 그것을 돌이키랴
27 For theLordof hosts has purposed,and who will annul it?His hand is stretched out,and who will turn it back?
28 아하스 왕이 죽던 해에 이 경고가 임하니라
28 In the year thatKing Ahaz died came thisoracle:
29 블레셋 온 땅이여 너를 치던 막대기가 부러졌다고 기뻐하지 말라 뱀의 뿌리에서는 독사가 나겠고 그의 열매는 날아다니는 불뱀이 되리라
29 Rejoice not,O Philistia, all of you,thatthe rod that struck you is broken,for from the serpent's root will come forth an adder,and its fruit will be aflying fiery serpent.
30 가난한 자의 장자는 먹겠고 궁핍한 자는 평안히 누우려니와 내가 네 뿌리를 기근으로 죽일 것이요 네게 남은 자는 살륙을 당하리라
30 And the firstborn ofthe poor will graze,andthe needy lie down in safety;but I will kill your root with famine,and your remnant it will slay.
31 성문이여 슬피 울지어다 성읍이여 부르짖을지어다 너 블레셋이여 다 소멸되리로다 대저 연기가 북방에서 오는데 그 대열에서 벗어난 자가 없느니라
31 Wail, Ogate; cry out, O city;melt in fear,O Philistia, all of you!For smoke comes out of the north,and there is no straggler in his ranks.
32 그 나라 사신들에게 어떻게 대답하겠느냐 여호와께서 시온을 세우셨으니 그의 백성의 곤고한 자들이 그 안에서 피난하리라 할 것이니라
32 What will one answer the messengers of the nation?TheLordhas founded Zion,and in her the afflicted of his people find refuge.고린도후서
13장
5 너희는 믿음 안에 있는가 너희 자신을 시험하고 너희 자신을 확증하라 예수 그리스도께서 너희 안에 계신 줄을 너희가 스스로 알지 못하느냐 그렇지 않으면 너희는 버림 받은 자니라
5 Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith.Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, thatJesus Christ is in you?&emdash;unless indeed you fail to meet the test!
6 우리가 버림 받은 자 되지 아니한 것을 너희가 알기를 내가 바라고
6 I hope you will find out that we have not failed the test.
7 우리가 하나님께서 너희로 악을 조금도 행하지 않게 하시기를 구하노니 이는 우리가 옳은 자임을 나타내고자 함이 아니라 오직 우리는 버림 받은 자 같을지라도 너희는 선을 행하게 하고자 함이라
7 But we pray to God that you may not do wrong&emdash;not that we may appear to have met the test, but that you may do what is right, though we may seem to have failed.
8 우리는 진리를 거슬러 아무 것도 할 수 없고 오직 진리를 위할 뿐이니
8 For we cannot do anything against the truth, but only for the truth.
9 우리가 약할 때에 너희가 강한 것을 기뻐하고 또 이것을 위하여 구하니 곧 너희가 온전하게 되는 것이라
9 For we are glad whenwe are weak and you are strong. Yourrestoration is what we pray for.
10 그러므로 내가 떠나 있을 때에 이렇게 쓰는 것은 대면할 때에 주께서 너희를 넘어뜨리려 하지 않고 세우려 하여 내게 주신 그 권한을 따라 엄하지 않게 하려 함이라
10 For this reason I write these things while I am away from you, that when I comeI may not have to besevere in my use ofthe authority that the Lord has given me for building up and not for tearing down.
11 마지막으로 말하노니 형제들아 기뻐하라 온전하게 되며 위로를 받으며 마음을 같이하며 평안할지어다 또 사랑과 평강의 하나님이 너희와 함께 계시리라 거룩하게 입맞춤으로 서로 문안하라
11 Finally, brothers,rejoice.Aim for restoration, comfort one another,agree with one another,live in peace; and the God of love andpeace will be with you.
12 모든 성도가 너희에게 문안하느니라
12 Greet one another with a holy kiss.
13 주 예수 그리스도의 은혜와 하나님의 사랑과 성령의 교통하심이 너희 무리와 함께 있을지어다
13 All the saints greet you.
14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ andthe love of God andthe fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
