신명기
27장
1 모세와 이스라엘 장로들이 백성에게 명령하여 이르되 내가 오늘 너희에게 명령하는 이 명령을 너희는 다 지킬지니라
1 Moses and the elders of Israel commanded the people: "Keep all these commands that I give you today.
2 너희가 요단을 건너 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 주시는 땅에 들어가는 날에 큰 돌들을 세우고 석회를 바르라
2 When you have crossed the Jordan into the land the LORD your God is giving you, set up some large stones and coat them with plaster.
3 요단을 건넌 후에 이 율법의 모든 말씀을 그 위에 기록하라 그리하면 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 주시는 땅 곧 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅에 네가 들어가기를 네 조상들의 하나님 여호와께서 네게 말씀하신 대로 하리라
3 Write on them all the words of this law when you have crossed over to enter the land the LORD your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the LORD, the God of your fathers, promised you.
4 너희가 요단을 건너거든 내가 오늘 너희에게 명령하는 이 돌들을 에발 산에 세우고 그 위에 석회를 바를 것이며
4 And when you have crossed the Jordan, set up these stones on Mount Ebal, as I command you today, and coat them with plaster.
5 또 거기서 네 하나님 여호와를 위하여 제단 곧 돌단을 쌓되 그것에 쇠 연장을 대지 말지니라
5 Build there an altar to the LORD your God, an altar of stones. Do not use any iron tool upon them.
6 너는 다듬지 않은 돌로 네 하나님 여호와의 제단을 쌓고 그 위에 네 하나님 여호와께 번제를 드릴 것이며
6 Build the altar of the LORD your God with fieldstones and offer burnt offerings on it to the LORD your God.
7 또 화목제를 드리고 거기에서 먹으며 네 하나님 여호와 앞에서 즐거워하라
7 Sacrifice fellowship offerings there, eating them and rejoicing in the presence of the LORD your God.
8 너는 이 율법의 모든 말씀을 그 돌들 위에 분명하고 정확하게 기록할지니라
8 And you shall write very clearly all the words of this law on these stones you have set up."
9 모세와 레위 제사장들이 온 이스라엘에게 말하여 이르되 이스라엘아 잠잠하여 들으라 오늘 네가 네 하나님 여호와의 백성이 되었으니
9 Then Moses and the priests, who are Levites, said to all Israel, "Be silent, O Israel, and listen! You have now become the people of the LORD your God.
10 그런즉 네 하나님 여호와의 말씀을 청종하여 내가 오늘 네게 명령하는 그 명령과 규례를 행할지니라
10 Obey the LORD your God and follow his commands and decrees that I give you today."
11 모세가 그 날 백성에게 명령하여 이르되
11 On the same day Moses commanded the people:
12 너희가 요단을 건넌 후에 시므온과 레위와 유다와 잇사갈과 요셉과 베냐민은 백성을 축복하기 위하여 그리심 산에 서고
12 When you have crossed the Jordan, these tribes shall stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph and Benjamin.
13 르우벤과 갓과 아셀과 스불론과 단과 납달리는 저주하기 위하여 에발 산에 서고
13 And these tribes shall stand on Mount Ebal to pronounce curses: Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan and Naphtali.
14 레위 사람은 큰 소리로 이스라엘 모든 사람에게 말하여 이르기를
14 The Levites shall recite to all the people of Israel in a loud voice:
15 장색의 손으로 조각하였거나 부어 만든 우상은 여호와께 가증하니 그것을 만들어 은밀히 세우는 자는 저주를 받을 것이라 할 것이요 모든 백성은 응답하여 말하되 아멘 할지니라
15 Cursed is the man who carves an image or casts an idol--a thing detestable to the LORD, the work of the craftsman`s hands--and sets it up in secret. Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"
16 그의 부모를 경홀히 여기는 자는 저주를 받을 것이라 할 것이요 모든 백성은 아멘 할지니라
16 Cursed is the man who dishonors his father or his mother. Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"
17 그의 이웃의 경계표를 옮기는 자는 저주를 받을 것이라 할 것이요 모든 백성은 아멘 할지니라
17 Cursed is the man who moves his neighbor`s boundary stone. Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"
18 맹인에게 길을 잃게 하는 자는 저주를 받을 것이라 할 것이요 모든 백성은 아멘 할지니라
18 Cursed is the man who leads the blind astray on the road. Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"
19 객이나 고아나 과부의 송사를 억울하게 하는 자는 저주를 받을 것이라 할 것이요 모든 백성은 아멘 할지니라
19 Cursed is the man who withholds justice from the alien, the fatherless or the widow. Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"
20 그의 아버지의 아내와 동침하는 자는 그의 아버지의 하체를 드러냈으니 저주를 받을 것이라 할 것이요 모든 백성은 아멘 할지니라
20 Cursed is the man who sleeps with his father`s wife, for he dishonors his father`s bed. Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"
21 짐승과 교합하는 모든 자는 저주를 받을 것이라 할 것이요 모든 백성은 아멘 할지니라
21 Cursed is the man who has sexual relations with any animal. Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"
22 그의 자매 곧 그의 아버지의 딸이나 어머니의 딸과 동침하는 자는 저주를 받을 것이라 할 것이요 모든 백성은 아멘 할지니라
22 Cursed is the man who sleeps with his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother. Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"
23 장모와 동침하는 자는 저주를 받을 것이라 할 것이요 모든 백성은 아멘 할지니라
23 Cursed is the man who sleeps with his mother-in-law. Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"
24 그의 이웃을 암살하는 자는 저주를 받을 것이라 할 것이요 모든 백성은 아멘 할지니라
24 Cursed is the man who kills his neighbor secretly. Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"
25 무죄한 자를 죽이려고 뇌물을 받는 자는 저주를 받을 것이라 할 것이요 모든 백성은 아멘 할지니라
25 Cursed is the man who accepts a bribe to kill an innocent person. Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"
26 이 율법의 말씀을 실행하지 아니하는 자는 저주를 받을 것이라 할 것이요 모든 백성은 아멘 할지니라
26 Cursed is the man who does not uphold the words of this law by carrying them out. Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"28장
1 네가 네 하나님 여호와의 말씀을 삼가 듣고 내가 오늘 네게 명령하는 그의 모든 명령을 지켜 행하면 네 하나님 여호와께서 너를 세계 모든 민족 위에 뛰어나게 하실 것이라
1 If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth.
2 네가 네 하나님 여호와의 말씀을 청종하면 이 모든 복이 네게 임하며 네게 이르리니
2 All these blessings will come upon you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God:
3 성읍에서도 복을 받고 들에서도 복을 받을 것이며
3 You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.
4 네 몸의 자녀와 네 토지의 소산과 네 짐승의 새끼와 소와 양의 새끼가 복을 받을 것이며
4 The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock--the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.
5 네 광주리와 떡 반죽 그릇이 복을 받을 것이며
5 Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed.
6 네가 들어와도 복을 받고 나가도 복을 받을 것이니라
6 You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.
7 여호와께서 너를 대적하기 위해 일어난 적군들을 네 앞에서 패하게 하시리라 그들이 한 길로 너를 치러 들어왔으나 네 앞에서 일곱 길로 도망하리라
7 The LORD will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.
8 여호와께서 명령하사 네 창고와 네 손으로 하는 모든 일에 복을 내리시고 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 주시는 땅에서 네게 복을 주실 것이며
8 The LORD will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The LORD your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.
9 여호와께서 네게 맹세하신 대로 너를 세워 자기의 성민이 되게 하시리니 이는 네가 네 하나님 여호와의 명령을 지켜 그 길로 행할 것임이니라
9 The LORD will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the LORD your God and walk in his ways.
10 땅의 모든 백성이 여호와의 이름이 너를 위하여 불리는 것을 보고 너를 두려워하리라
10 Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the LORD, and they will fear you.
11 여호와께서 네게 주리라고 네 조상들에게 맹세하신 땅에서 네게 복을 주사 네 몸의 소생과 가축의 새끼와 토지의 소산을 많게 하시며
11 The LORD will grant you abundant prosperity--in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground--in the land he swore to your forefathers to give you.
12 여호와께서 너를 위하여 하늘의 아름다운 보고를 여시사 네 땅에 때를 따라 비를 내리시고 네 손으로 하는 모든 일에 복을 주시리니 네가 많은 민족에게 꾸어줄지라도 너는 꾸지 아니할 것이요
12 The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none.
13 여호와께서 너를 머리가 되고 꼬리가 되지 않게 하시며 위에만 있고 아래에 있지 않게 하시리니 오직 너는 내가 오늘 네게 명령하는 네 하나님 여호와의 명령을 듣고 지켜 행하며
13 The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the LORD your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom.
14 내가 오늘 너희에게 명령하는 그 말씀을 떠나 좌로나 우로나 치우치지 아니하고 다른 신을 따라 섬기지 아니하면 이와 같으리라
14 Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today, to the right or to the left, following other gods and serving them.
15 네가 만일 네 하나님 여호와의 말씀을 순종하지 아니하여 내가 오늘 네게 명령하는 그의 모든 명령과 규례를 지켜 행하지 아니하면 이 모든 저주가 네게 임하며 네게 이를 것이니
15 However, if you do not obey the LORD your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:
16 네가 성읍에서도 저주를 받으며 들에서도 저주를 받을 것이요
16 You will be cursed in the city and cursed in the country.
17 또 네 광주리와 떡 반죽 그릇이 저주를 받을 것이요
17 Your basket and your kneading trough will be cursed.
18 네 몸의 소생과 네 토지의 소산과 네 소와 양의 새끼가 저주를 받을 것이며
18 The fruit of your womb will be cursed, and the crops of your land, and the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.
19 네가 들어와도 저주를 받고 나가도 저주를 받으리라
19 You will be cursed when you come in and cursed when you go out.누가복음
10장
38 그들이 길 갈 때에 예수께서 한 마을에 들어가시매 마르다라 이름하는 한 여자가 자기 집으로 영접하더라
38 As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him.
39 그에게 마리아라 하는 동생이 있어 주의 발치에 앉아 그의 말씀을 듣더니
39 She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord`s feet listening to what he said.
40 마르다는 준비하는 일이 많아 마음이 분주한지라 예수께 나아가 이르되 주여 내 동생이 나 혼자 일하게 두는 것을 생각하지 아니하시나이까 그를 명하사 나를 도와 주라 하소서
40 But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, "Lord, don`t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!"
41 주께서 대답하여 이르시되 마르다야 마르다야 네가 많은 일로 염려하고 근심하나
41 Martha, Martha, the Lord answered, "you are worried and upset about many things,
42 몇 가지만 하든지 혹은 한 가지만이라도 족하니라 마리아는 이 좋은 편을 택하였으니 빼앗기지 아니하리라 하시니라
42 but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her."11장
1 예수께서 한 곳에서 기도하시고 마치시매 제자 중 하나가 여짜오되 주여 요한이 자기 제자들에게 기도를 가르친 것과 같이 우리에게도 가르쳐 주옵소서
1 One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, "Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples."
2 예수께서 이르시되 너희는 기도할 때에 이렇게 하라 아버지여 이름이 거룩히 여김을 받으시오며 나라가 임하시오며
2 He said to them, "When you pray, say: " `Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come.
3 우리에게 날마다 일용할 양식을 주시옵고
3 Give us each day our daily bread.
4 우리가 우리에게 죄 지은 모든 사람을 용서하오니 우리 죄도 사하여 주시옵고 우리를 시험에 들게 하지 마시옵소서 하라
4 Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation.` "
5 또 이르시되 너희 중에 누가 벗이 있는데 밤중에 그에게 가서 말하기를 벗이여 떡 세 덩이를 내게 꾸어 달라
5 Then he said to them, "Suppose one of you has a friend, and he goes to him at midnight and says, `Friend, lend me three loaves of bread,
6 내 벗이 여행중에 내게 왔으나 내가 먹일 것이 없노라 하면
6 because a friend of mine on a journey has come to me, and I have nothing to set before him.`
7 그가 안에서 대답하여 이르되 나를 괴롭게 하지 말라 문이 이미 닫혔고 아이들이 나와 함께 침실에 누웠으니 일어나 네게 줄 수가 없노라 하겠느냐
7 Then the one inside answers, `Don`t bother me. The door is already locked, and my children are with me in bed. I can`t get up and give you anything.`
8 내가 너희에게 말하노니 비록 벗 됨으로 인하여서는 일어나서 주지 아니할지라도 그 간청함을 인하여 일어나 그 요구대로 주리라
8 I tell you, though he will not get up and give him the bread because he is his friend, yet because of the man`s boldness he will get up and give him as much as he needs.
9 내가 또 너희에게 이르노니 구하라 그러면 너희에게 주실 것이요 찾으라 그러면 찾아낼 것이요 문을 두드리라 그러면 너희에게 열릴 것이니
9 So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
10 구하는 이마다 받을 것이요 찾는 이는 찾아낼 것이요 두드리는 이에게는 열릴 것이니라
10 For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
11 너희 중에 아버지 된 자로서 누가 아들이 생선을 달라 하는데 생선 대신에 뱀을 주며
11 Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead?
12 알을 달라 하는데 전갈을 주겠느냐
12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?
13 너희가 악할지라도 좋은 것을 자식에게 줄 줄 알거든 하물며 너희 하늘 아버지께서 구하는 자에게 성령을 주시지 않겠느냐 하시니라
13 If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"
