19:45-21:38
45 성전에 들어가사 장사하는 자들을 내쫓으시며
45 Then he entered the temple area and began driving out those who were selling.
46 그들에게 이르시되 기록된 바 내 집은 기도하는 집이 되리라 하였거늘 너희는 강도의 소굴을 만들었도다 하시니라
46 It is written, he said to them, " `My house will be a house of prayer`; but you have made it `a den of robbers.`"
47 예수께서 날마다 성전에서 가르치시니 대제사장들과 서기관들과 백성의 지도자들이 그를 죽이려고 꾀하되
47 Every day he was teaching at the temple. But the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the leaders among the people were trying to kill him.
48 백성이 다 그에게 귀를 기울여 들으므로 어찌할 방도를 찾지 못하였더라
48 Yet they could not find any way to do it, because all the people hung on his words.
20장
1 하루는 예수께서 성전에서 백성을 가르치시며 복음을 전하실새 대제사장들과 서기관들이 장로들과 함께 가까이 와서
1 One day as he was teaching the people in the temple courts and preaching the gospel, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, together with the elders, came up to him.
2 말하여 이르되 당신이 무슨 권위로 이런 일을 하는지 이 권위를 준 이가 누구인지 우리에게 말하라
2 Tell us by what authority you are doing these things, they said. "Who gave you this authority?"
3 대답하여 이르시되 나도 한 말을 너희에게 물으리니 내게 말하라
3 He replied, "I will also ask you a question. Tell me,
4 요한의 세례가 하늘로부터냐 사람으로부터냐
4 John`s baptism--was it from heaven, or from men?"
5 그들이 서로 의논하여 이르되 만일 하늘로부터라 하면 어찌하여 그를 믿지 아니하였느냐 할 것이요
5 They discussed it among themselves and said, "If we say, `From heaven,` he will ask, `Why didn`t you believe him?`
6 만일 사람으로부터라 하면 백성이 요한을 선지자로 인정하니 그들이 다 우리를 돌로 칠 것이라 하고
6 But if we say, `From men,` all the people will stone us, because they are persuaded that John was a prophet."
7 대답하되 어디로부터인지 알지 못하노라 하니
7 So they answered, "We don`t know where it was from."
8 예수께서 이르시되 나도 무슨 권위로 이런 일을 하는지 너희에게 이르지 아니하리라 하시니라
8 Jesus said, "Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things."
9 그가 또 이 비유로 백성에게 말씀하시기 시작하시니라 한 사람이 포도원을 만들어 농부들에게 세로 주고 타국에 가서 오래 있다가
9 He went on to tell the people this parable: "A man planted a vineyard, rented it to some farmers and went away for a long time.
10 때가 이르매 포도원 소출 얼마를 바치게 하려고 한 종을 농부들에게 보내니 농부들이 종을 몹시 때리고 거저 보내었거늘
10 At harvest time he sent a servant to the tenants so they would give him some of the fruit of the vineyard. But the tenants beat him and sent him away empty-handed.
11 다시 다른 종을 보내니 그도 몹시 때리고 능욕하고 거저 보내었거늘
11 He sent another servant, but that one also they beat and treated shamefully and sent away empty-handed.
12 다시 세 번째 종을 보내니 이 종도 상하게 하고 내쫓은지라
12 He sent still a third, and they wounded him and threw him out.
13 포도원 주인이 이르되 어찌할까 내 사랑하는 아들을 보내리니 그들이 혹 그는 존대하리라 하였더니
13 Then the owner of the vineyard said, `What shall I do? I will send my son, whom I love; perhaps they will respect him.`
14 농부들이 그를 보고 서로 의논하여 이르되 이는 상속자니 죽이고 그 유산을 우리의 것으로 만들자 하고
14 But when the tenants saw him, they talked the matter over. `This is the heir,` they said. `Let`s kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.`
15 포도원 밖에 내쫓아 죽였느니라 그런즉 포도원 주인이 이 사람들을 어떻게 하겠느냐
15 So they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. "What then will the owner of the vineyard do to them?
16 와서 그 농부들을 진멸하고 포도원을 다른 사람들에게 주리라 하시니 사람들이 듣고 이르되 그렇게 되지 말아지이다 하거늘
16 He will come and kill those tenants and give the vineyard to others." When the people heard this, they said, "May this never be!"
17 그들을 보시며 이르시되 그러면 기록된 바 건축자들의 버린 돌이 모퉁이의 머릿돌이 되었느니라 함이 어찜이냐
17 Jesus looked directly at them and asked, "Then what is the meaning of that which is written: " `The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone`?
18 무릇 이 돌 위에 떨어지는 자는 깨어지겠고 이 돌이 사람 위에 떨어지면 그를 가루로 만들어 흩으리라 하시니라
18 Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces, but he on whom it falls will be crushed."
19 서기관들과 대제사장들이 예수의 이 비유는 자기들을 가리켜 말씀하심인 줄 알고 즉시 잡고자 하되 백성을 두려워하더라
19 The teachers of the law and the chief priests looked for a way to arrest him immediately, because they knew he had spoken this parable against them. But they were afraid of the people.
20 이에 그들이 엿보다가 예수를 총독의 다스림과 권세 아래에 넘기려 하여 정탐들을 보내어 그들로 스스로 의인인 체하며 예수의 말을 책잡게 하니
20 Keeping a close watch on him, they sent spies, who pretended to be honest. They hoped to catch Jesus in something he said so that they might hand him over to the power and authority of the governor.
21 그들이 물어 이르되 선생님이여 우리가 아노니 당신은 바로 말씀하시고 가르치시며 사람을 외모로 취하지 아니하시고 오직 진리로써 하나님의 도를 가르치시나이다
21 So the spies questioned him: "Teacher, we know that you speak and teach what is right, and that you do not show partiality but teach the way of God in accordance with the truth.
22 우리가 가이사에게 세를 바치는 것이 옳으니이까 옳지 않으니이까 하니
22 Is it right for us to pay taxes to Caesar or not?"
23 예수께서 그 간계를 아시고 이르시되
23 He saw through their duplicity and said to them,
24 데나리온 하나를 내게 보이라 누구의 형상과 글이 여기 있느냐 대답하되 가이사의 것이니이다
24 Show me a denarius. Whose portrait and inscription are on it?
25 이르시되 그런즉 가이사의 것은 가이사에게, 하나님의 것은 하나님께 바치라 하시니
25 Caesar`s, they replied. He said to them, "Then give to Caesar what is Caesar`s, and to God what is God`s."
26 그들이 백성 앞에서 그의 말을 능히 책잡지 못하고 그의 대답을 놀랍게 여겨 침묵하니라
26 They were unable to trap him in what he had said there in public. And astonished by his answer, they became silent.
27 부활이 없다고 주장하는 사두개인 중 어떤 이들이 와서
27 Some of the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to Jesus with a question.
28 물어 이르되 선생님이여 모세가 우리에게 써 주기를 만일 어떤 사람의 형이 아내를 두고 자식이 없이 죽으면 그 동생이 그 아내를 취하여 형을 위하여 상속자를 세울지니라 하였나이다
28 Teacher, they said, "Moses wrote for us that if a man`s brother dies and leaves a wife but no children, the man must marry the widow and have children for his brother.
29 그런데 칠 형제가 있었는데 맏이가 아내를 취하였다가 자식이 없이 죽고
29 Now there were seven brothers. The first one married a woman and died childless.
30 그 둘째와 셋째가 그를 취하고
30 The second
31 일곱이 다 그와 같이 자식이 없이 죽고
31 and then the third married her, and in the same way the seven died, leaving no children.
32 그 후에 여자도 죽었나이다
32 Finally, the woman died too.
33 일곱이 다 그를 아내로 취하였으니 부활 때에 그 중에 누구의 아내가 되리이까
33 Now then, at the resurrection whose wife will she be, since the seven were married to her?"
34 예수께서 이르시되 이 세상의 자녀들은 장가도 가고 시집도 가되
34 Jesus replied, "The people of this age marry and are given in marriage.
35 저 세상과 및 죽은 자 가운데서 부활함을 얻기에 합당히 여김을 받은 자들은 장가 가고 시집 가는 일이 없으며
35 But those who are considered worthy of taking part in that age and in the resurrection from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage,
36 그들은 다시 죽을 수도 없나니 이는 천사와 동등이요 부활의 자녀로서 하나님의 자녀임이라
36 and they can no longer die; for they are like the angels. They are God`s children, since they are children of the resurrection.
37 죽은 자가 살아난다는 것은 모세도 가시나무 떨기에 관한 글에서 주를 아브라함의 하나님이요 이삭의 하나님이요 야곱의 하나님이시라 칭하였나니
37 But in the account of the bush, even Moses showed that the dead rise, for he calls the Lord `the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.`
38 하나님은 죽은 자의 하나님이 아니요 살아 있는 자의 하나님이시라 하나님에게는 모든 사람이 살았느니라 하시니
38 He is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for to him all are alive."
39 서기관 중 어떤 이들이 말하되 선생님 잘 말씀하셨나이다 하니
39 Some of the teachers of the law responded, "Well said, teacher!"
40 그들은 아무 것도 감히 더 물을 수 없음이더라
40 And no one dared to ask him any more questions.
41 예수께서 그들에게 이르시되 사람들이 어찌하여 그리스도를 다윗의 자손이라 하느냐
41 Then Jesus said to them, "How is it that they say the Christis the Son of David?
42 시편에 다윗이 친히 말하였으되 주께서 내 주께 이르시되
42 David himself declares in the Book of Psalms: " `The Lord said to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand
43 내가 네 원수를 네 발등상으로 삼을 때까지 내 우편에 앉았으라 하셨도다 하였느니라
43 until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet." `
44 그런즉 다윗이 그리스도를 주라 칭하였으니 어찌 그의 자손이 되겠느냐 하시니라
44 David calls him `Lord.` How then can he be his son?"
45 모든 백성이 들을 때에 예수께서 그 제자들에게 이르시되
45 While all the people were listening, Jesus said to his disciples,
46 긴 옷을 입고 다니는 것을 원하며 시장에서 문안 받는 것과 회당의 높은 자리와 잔치의 윗자리를 좋아하는 서기관들을 삼가라
46 Beware of the teachers of the law. They like to walk around in flowing robes and love to be greeted in the marketplaces and have the most important seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at banquets.
47 그들은 과부의 가산을 삼키며 외식으로 길게 기도하니 그들이 더 엄중한 심판을 받으리라 하시니라
47 They devour widows` houses and for a show make lengthy prayers. Such men will be punished most severely."21장
1 예수께서 눈을 들어 부자들이 헌금함에 헌금 넣는 것을 보시고
1 As he looked up, Jesus saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury.
2 또 어떤 가난한 과부가 두 렙돈 넣는 것을 보시고
2 He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins.
3 이르시되 내가 참으로 너희에게 말하노니 이 가난한 과부가 다른 모든 사람보다 많이 넣었도다
3 I tell you the truth, he said, "this poor widow has put in more than all the others.
4 저들은 그 풍족한 중에서 헌금을 넣었거니와 이 과부는 그 가난한 중에서 자기가 가지고 있는 생활비 전부를 넣었느니라 하시니라
4 All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on."
5 어떤 사람들이 성전을 가리켜 그 아름다운 돌과 헌물로 꾸민 것을 말하매 예수께서 이르시되
5 Some of his disciples were remarking about how the temple was adorned with beautiful stones and with gifts dedicated to God. But Jesus said,
6 너희 보는 이것들이 날이 이르면 돌 하나도 돌 위에 남지 않고 다 무너뜨려지리라
6 As for what you see here, the time will come when not one stone will be left on another; every one of them will be thrown down.
7 그들이 물어 이르되 선생님이여 그러면 어느 때에 이런 일이 있겠사오며 이런 일이 일어나려 할 때에 무슨 징조가 있사오리이까
7 Teacher, they asked, "when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are about to take place?"
8 이르시되 미혹을 받지 않도록 주의하라 많은 사람이 내 이름으로 와서 이르되 내가 그라 하며 때가 가까이 왔다 하겠으나 그들을 따르지 말라
8 He replied: "Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, `I am he,` and, `The time is near.` Do not follow them.
9 난리와 소요의 소문을 들을 때에 두려워하지 말라 이 일이 먼저 있어야 하되 끝은 곧 되지 아니하리라
9 When you hear of wars and revolutions, do not be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away."
10 또 이르시되 민족이 민족을, 나라가 나라를 대적하여 일어나겠고
10 Then he said to them: "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
11 곳곳에 큰 지진과 기근과 전염병이 있겠고 또 무서운 일과 하늘로부터 큰 징조들이 있으리라
11 There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.
12 이 모든 일 전에 내 이름으로 말미암아 너희에게 손을 대어 박해하며 회당과 옥에 넘겨 주며 임금들과 집권자들 앞에 끌어 가려니와
12 But before all this, they will lay hands on you and persecute you. They will deliver you to synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors, and all on account of my name.
13 이 일이 도리어 너희에게 증거가 되리라
13 This will result in your being witnesses to them.
14 그러므로 너희는 변명할 것을 미리 궁리하지 않도록 명심하라
14 But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves.
15 내가 너희의 모든 대적이 능히 대항하거나 변박할 수 없는 구변과 지혜를 너희에게 주리라
15 For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.
16 심지어 부모와 형제와 친척과 벗이 너희를 넘겨 주어 너희 중의 몇을 죽이게 하겠고
16 You will be betrayed even by parents, brothers, relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death.
17 또 너희가 내 이름으로 말미암아 모든 사람에게 미움을 받을 것이나
17 All men will hate you because of me.
18 너희 머리털 하나도 상하지 아니하리라
18 But not a hair of your head will perish.
19 너희의 인내로 너희 영혼을 얻으리라
19 By standing firm you will gain life.
20 너희가 예루살렘이 군대들에게 에워싸이는 것을 보거든 그 멸망이 가까운 줄을 알라
20 When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near.
21 그 때에 유대에 있는 자들은 산으로 도망갈 것이며 성내에 있는 자들은 나갈 것이며 촌에 있는 자들은 그리로 들어가지 말지어다
21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city.
22 이 날들은 기록된 모든 것을 이루는 징벌의 날이니라
22 For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written.
23 그 날에는 아이 밴 자들과 젖먹이는 자들에게 화가 있으리니 이는 땅에 큰 환난과 이 백성에게 진노가 있겠음이로다
23 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people.
24 그들이 칼날에 죽임을 당하며 모든 이방에 사로잡혀 가겠고 예루살렘은 이방인의 때가 차기까지 이방인들에게 밟히리라
24 They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
25 일월 성신에는 징조가 있겠고 땅에서는 민족들이 바다와 파도의 성난 소리로 인하여 혼란한 중에 곤고하리라
25 There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea.
26 사람들이 세상에 임할 일을 생각하고 무서워하므로 기절하리니 이는 하늘의 권능들이 흔들리겠음이라
26 Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.
27 그 때에 사람들이 인자가 구름을 타고 능력과 큰 영광으로 오는 것을 보리라
27 At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 이런 일이 되기를 시작하거든 일어나 머리를 들라 너희 속량이 가까웠느니라 하시더라
28 When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near."
29 이에 비유로 이르시되 무화과나무와 모든 나무를 보라
29 He told them this parable: "Look at the fig tree and all the trees.
30 싹이 나면 너희가 보고 여름이 가까운 줄을 자연히 아나니
30 When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near.
31 이와 같이 너희가 이런 일이 일어나는 것을 보거든 하나님의 나라가 가까이 온 줄을 알라
31 Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near.
32 내가 진실로 너희에게 말하노니 이 세대가 지나가기 전에 모든 일이 다 이루어지리라
32 I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.
33 천지는 없어지겠으나 내 말은 없어지지 아니하리라
33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
34 너희는 스스로 조심하라 그렇지 않으면 방탕함과 술취함과 생활의 염려로 마음이 둔하여지고 뜻밖에 그 날이 덫과 같이 너희에게 임하리라
34 Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap.
35 이 날은 온 지구상에 거하는 모든 사람에게 임하리라
35 For it will come upon all those who live on the face of the whole earth.
36 이러므로 너희는 장차 올 이 모든 일을 능히 피하고 인자 앞에 서도록 항상 기도하며 깨어 있으라 하시니라
36 Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man."
37 예수께서 낮에는 성전에서 가르치시고 밤에는 나가 감람원이라 하는 산에서 쉬시니
37 Each day Jesus was teaching at the temple, and each evening he went out to spend the night on the hill called the Mount of Olives,
38 모든 백성이 그 말씀을 들으려고 이른 아침에 성전에 나아가더라
38 and all the people came early in the morning to hear him at the temple.잠언 (Proverbs)
271 너는 내일 일을 자랑하지 말라 하루 동안에 무슨 일이 일어날는지 네가 알 수 없음이니라
1 Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth.
2 타인이 너를 칭찬하게 하고 네 입으로는 하지 말며 외인이 너를 칭찬하게 하고 네 입술로는 하지 말지니라
2 Let another praise you, and not your own mouth; someone else, and not your own lips.
3 돌은 무겁고 모래도 가볍지 아니하거니와 미련한 자의 분노는 이 둘보다 무거우니라
3 Stone is heavy and sand a burden, but provocation by a fool is heavier than both.
4 분은 잔인하고 노는 창수 같거니와 투기 앞에야 누가 서리요
4 Anger is cruel and fury overwhelming, but who can stand before jealousy?
5 면책은 숨은 사랑보다 나으니라
5 Better is open rebuke than hidden love.
6 친구의 아픈 책망은 충직으로 말미암는 것이나 원수의 잦은 입맞춤은 거짓에서 난 것이니라
6 Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses.
7 배부른 자는 꿀이라도 싫어하고 주린 자에게는 쓴 것이라도 다니라
7 He who is full loathes honey, but to the hungry even what is bitter tastes sweet.
8 고향을 떠나 유리하는 사람은 보금자리를 떠나 떠도는 새와 같으니라
8 Like a bird that strays from its nest is a man who strays from his home.
9 기름과 향이 사람의 마음을 즐겁게 하나니 친구의 충성된 권고가 이와 같이 아름다우니라
9 Perfume and incense bring joy to the heart, and the pleasantness of one`s friend springs from his earnest counsel.
10 네 친구와 네 아비의 친구를 버리지 말며 네 환난 날에 형제의 집에 들어가지 말지어다 가까운 이웃이 먼 형제보다 나으니라
10 Do not forsake your friend and the friend of your father, and do not go to your brother`s house when disaster strikes you-- better a neighbor nearby than a brother far away.
11 내 아들아 지혜를 얻고 내 마음을 기쁘게 하라 그리하면 나를 비방하는 자에게 내가 대답할 수 있으리라
11 Be wise, my son, and bring joy to my heart; then I can answer anyone who treats me with contempt.
12 슬기로운 자는 재앙을 보면 숨어 피하여도 어리석은 자들은 나가다가 해를 받느니라
12 The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it.
13 타인을 위하여 보증 선 자의 옷을 취하라 외인들을 위하여 보증 선 자는 그의 몸을 볼모 잡을지니라
13 Take the garment of one who puts up security for a stranger; hold it in pledge if he does it for a wayward woman.
14 이른 아침에 큰 소리로 자기 이웃을 축복하면 도리어 저주 같이 여기게 되리라
14 If a man loudly blesses his neighbor early in the morning, it will be taken as a curse.
15 다투는 여자는 비 오는 날에 이어 떨어지는 물방울이라
15 A quarrelsome wife is like a constant dripping on a rainy day;
16 그를 제어하기가 바람을 제어하는 것 같고 오른손으로 기름을 움키는 것 같으니라
16 restraining her is like restraining the wind or grasping oil with the hand.
17 철이 철을 날카롭게 하는 것 같이 사람이 그의 친구의 얼굴을 빛나게 하느니라
17 As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.
18 무화과나무를 지키는 자는 그 과실을 먹고 자기 주인에게 시중드는 자는 영화를 얻느니라
18 He who tends a fig tree will eat its fruit, and he who looks after his master will be honored.
19 물에 비치면 얼굴이 서로 같은 것 같이 사람의 마음도 서로 비치느니라
19 As water reflects a face, so a man`s heart reflects the man.
20 스올과 아바돈은 만족함이 없고 사람의 눈도 만족함이 없느니라
20 Death and Destruction are never satisfied, and neither are the eyes of man.
21 도가니로 은을, 풀무로 금을, 칭찬으로 사람을 단련하느니라
21 The crucible for silver and the furnace for gold, but man is tested by the praise he receives.
22 미련한 자를 곡물과 함께 절구에 넣고 공이로 찧을지라도 그의 미련은 벗겨지지 아니하느니라
22 Though you grind a fool in a mortar, grinding him like grain with a pestle, you will not remove his folly from him.
23 네 양 떼의 형편을 부지런히 살피며 네 소 떼에게 마음을 두라
23 Be sure you know the condition of your flocks, give careful attention to your herds;
24 대저 재물은 영원히 있지 못하나니 면류관이 어찌 대대에 있으랴
24 for riches do not endure forever, and a crown is not secure for all generations.
25 풀을 벤 후에는 새로 움이 돋나니 산에서 꼴을 거둘 것이니라
25 When the hay is removed and new growth appears and the grass from the hills is gathered in,
26 어린 양의 털은 네 옷이 되며 염소는 밭을 사는 값이 되며
26 the lambs will provide you with clothing, and the goats with the price of a field.
27 염소의 젖은 넉넉하여 너와 네 집의 음식이 되며 네 여종의 먹을 것이 되느니라
27 You will have plenty of goats` milk to feed you and your family and to nourish your servant girls.
