신명기
33장
1 하나님의 사람 모세가 죽기 전에 이스라엘 자손을 위하여 축복함이 이러하니라
1 This is the blessing that Moses the man of God pronounced on the Israelites before his death.
2 그가 일렀으되 여호와께서 시내 산에서 오시고 세일 산에서 일어나시고 바란 산에서 비추시고 일만 성도 가운데에 강림하셨고 그의 오른손에는 그들을 위해 번쩍이는 불이 있도다
2 He said: "The LORD came from Sinai and dawned over them from Seir; he shone forth from Mount Paran. He came with myriads of holy ones from the south, from his mountain slopes.
3 여호와께서 백성을 사랑하시나니 모든 성도가 그의 수중에 있으며 주의 발 아래에 앉아서 주의 말씀을 받는도다
3 Surely it is you who love the people; all the holy ones are in your hand. At your feet they all bow down, and from you receive instruction,
4 모세가 우리에게 율법을 명령하였으니 곧 야곱의 총회의 기업이로다
4 the law that Moses gave us, the possession of the assembly of Jacob.
5 여수룬에 왕이 있었으니 곧 백성의 수령이 모이고 이스라엘 모든 지파가 함께 한 때에로다
5 He was king over Jeshurun when the leaders of the people assembled, along with the tribes of Israel.
6 르우벤은 죽지 아니하고 살기를 원하며 그 사람 수가 적지 아니하기를 원하나이다
6 Let Reuben live and not die, nor his men be few.
7 유다에 대한 축복은 이러하니라 일렀으되 여호와여 유다의 음성을 들으시고 그의 백성에게로 인도하시오며 그의 손으로 자기를 위하여 싸우게 하시고 주께서 도우사 그가 그 대적을 치게 하시기를 원하나이다
7 And this he said about Judah: "Hear, O LORD, the cry of Judah; bring him to his people. With his own hands he defends his cause. Oh, be his help against his foes!"
8 레위에 대하여는 일렀으되 주의 둠밈과 우림이 주의 경건한 자에게 있도다 주께서 그를 맛사에서 시험하시고 므리바 물 가에서 그와 다투셨도다
8 About Levi he said: "Your Thummim and Urim belong to the man you favored. You tested him at Massah; you contended with him at the waters of Meribah.
9 그는 그의 부모에게 대하여 이르기를 내가 그들을 보지 못하였다 하며 그의 형제들을 인정하지 아니하며 그의 자녀를 알지 아니한 것은 주의 말씀을 준행하고 주의 언약을 지킴으로 말미암음이로다
9 He said of his father and mother, `I have no regard for them.` He did not recognize his brothers or acknowledge his own children, but he watched over your word and guarded your covenant.
10 주의 법도를 야곱에게, 주의 율법을 이스라엘에게 가르치며 주 앞에 분향하고 온전한 번제를 주의 제단 위에 드리리로다
10 He teaches your precepts to Jacob and your law to Israel. He offers incense before you and whole burnt offerings on your altar.
11 여호와여 그의 재산을 풍족하게 하시고 그의 손의 일을 받으소서 그를 대적하여 일어나는 자와 미워하는 자의 허리를 꺾으사 다시 일어나지 못하게 하옵소서
11 Bless all his skills, O LORD, and be pleased with the work of his hands. Smite the loins of those who rise up against him; strike his foes till they rise no more."
12 베냐민에 대하여는 일렀으되 여호와의 사랑을 입은 자는 그 곁에 안전히 살리로다 여호와께서 그를 날이 마치도록 보호하시고 그를 자기 어깨 사이에 있게 하시리로다
12 About Benjamin he said: "Let the beloved of the LORD rest secure in him, for he shields him all day long, and the one the LORD loves rests between his shoulders."
13 요셉에 대하여는 일렀으되 원하건대 그 땅이 여호와께 복을 받아 하늘의 보물인 이슬과 땅 아래에 저장한 물과
13 About Joseph he said: "May the LORD bless his land with the precious dew from heaven above and with the deep waters that lie below;
14 태양이 결실하게 하는 선물과 태음이 자라게 하는 선물과
14 with the best the sun brings forth and the finest the moon can yield;
15 옛 산의 좋은 산물과 영원한 작은 언덕의 선물과
15 with the choicest gifts of the ancient mountains and the fruitfulness of the everlasting hills;
16 땅의 선물과 거기 충만한 것과 가시떨기나무 가운데에 계시던 이의 은혜로 말미암아 복이 요셉의 머리에, 그의 형제 중 구별한 자의 정수리에 임할지로다
16 with the best gifts of the earth and its fullness and the favor of him who dwelt in the burning bush. Let all these rest on the head of Joseph, on the brow of the prince among his brothers.
17 그는 첫 수송아지 같이 위엄이 있으니 그 뿔이 들소의 뿔 같도다 이것으로 민족들을 받아 땅 끝까지 이르리니 곧 에브라임의 자손은 만만이요 므낫세의 자손은 천천이리로다
17 In majesty he is like a firstborn bull; his horns are the horns of a wild ox. With them he will gore the nations, even those at the ends of the earth. Such are the ten thousands of Ephraim; such are the thousands of Manasseh."
18 스불론에 대하여는 일렀으되 스불론이여 너는 밖으로 나감을 기뻐하라 잇사갈이여 너는 장막에 있음을 즐거워하라
18 About Zebulun he said: "Rejoice, Zebulun, in your going out, and you, Issachar, in your tents.
19 그들이 백성들을 불러 산에 이르게 하고 거기에서 의로운 제사를 드릴 것이며 바다의 풍부한 것과 모래에 감추어진 보배를 흡수하리로다
19 They will summon peoples to the mountain and there offer sacrifices of righteousness; they will feast on the abundance of the seas, on the treasures hidden in the sand."
20 갓에 대하여는 일렀으되 갓을 광대하게 하시는 이에게 찬송을 부를지어다 갓이 암사자 같이 엎드리고 팔과 정수리를 찢는도다
20 About Gad he said: "Blessed is he who enlarges Gad`s domain! Gad lives there like a lion, tearing at arm or head.
21 그가 자기를 위하여 먼저 기업을 택하였으니 곧 입법자의 분깃으로 준비된 것이로다 그가 백성의 수령들과 함께 와서 여호와의 공의와 이스라엘과 세우신 법도를 행하도다
21 He chose the best land for himself; the leader`s portion was kept for him. When the heads of the people assembled, he carried out the LORD`s righteous will, and his judgments concerning Israel."
22 단에 대하여는 일렀으되 단은 바산에서 뛰어나오는 사자의 새끼로다
22 About Dan he said: "Dan is a lion`s cub, springing out of Bashan."
23 납달리에 대하여는 일렀으되 은혜가 풍성하고 여호와의 복이 가득한 납달리여 너는 서쪽과 남쪽을 차지할지로다
23 About Naphtali he said: "Naphtali is abounding with the favor of the LORD and is full of his blessing; he will inherit southward to the lake."
24 아셀에 대하여는 일렀으되 아셀은 아들들 중에 더 복을 받으며 그의 형제에게 기쁨이 되며 그의 발이 기름에 잠길지로다
24 About Asher he said: "Most blessed of sons is Asher; let him be favored by his brothers, and let him bathe his feet in oil.
25 네 문빗장은 철과 놋이 될 것이니 네가 사는 날을 따라서 능력이 있으리로다
25 The bolts of your gates will be iron and bronze, and your strength will equal your days.
26 여수룬이여 하나님 같은 이가 없도다 그가 너를 도우시려고 하늘을 타고 궁창에서 위엄을 나타내시는도다
26 There is no one like the God of Jeshurun, who rides on the heavens to help you and on the clouds in his majesty.
27 영원하신 하나님이 네 처소가 되시니 그의 영원하신 팔이 네 아래에 있도다 그가 네 앞에서 대적을 쫓으시며 멸하라 하시도다
27 The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out your enemy before you, saying, `Destroy him!`
28 이스라엘이 안전히 거하며 야곱의 샘은 곡식과 새 포도주의 땅에 홀로 있나니 곧 그의 하늘이 이슬을 내리는 곳에로다
28 So Israel will live in safety alone; Jacob`s spring is secure in a land of grain and new wine, where the heavens drop dew.
29 이스라엘이여 너는 행복한 사람이로다 여호와의 구원을 너 같이 얻은 백성이 누구냐 그는 너를 돕는 방패시요 네 영광의 칼이시로다 네 대적이 네게 복종하리니 네가 그들의 높은 곳을 밟으리로다
29 Blessed are you, O Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the LORD ? He is your shield and helper and your glorious sword. Your enemies will cower before you, and you will trample down their high places. "34장
1 모세가 모압 평지에서 느보 산에 올라가 여리고 맞은편 비스가 산꼭대기에 이르매 여호와께서 길르앗 온 땅을 단까지 보이시고
1 Then Moses climbed Mount Nebo from the plains of Moab to the top of Pisgah, across from Jericho. There the LORD showed him the whole land--from Gilead to Dan,
2 또 온 납달리와 에브라임과 므낫세의 땅과 서해까지의 유다 온 땅과
2 all of Naphtali, the territory of Ephraim and Manasseh, all the land of Judah as far as the western sea,
3 네겝과 종려나무의 성읍 여리고 골짜기 평지를 소알까지 보이시고
3 the Negev and the whole region from the Valley of Jericho, the City of Palms, as far as Zoar.
4 여호와께서 그에게 이르시되 이는 내가 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱에게 맹세하여 그의 후손에게 주리라 한 땅이라 내가 네 눈으로 보게 하였거니와 너는 그리로 건너가지 못하리라 하시매
4 Then the LORD said to him, "This is the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob when I said, `I will give it to your descendants.` I have let you see it with your eyes, but you will not cross over into it."
5 이에 여호와의 종 모세가 여호와의 말씀대로 모압 땅에서 죽어
5 And Moses the servant of the LORD died there in Moab, as the LORD had said.
6 벳브올 맞은편 모압 땅에 있는 골짜기에 장사되었고 오늘까지 그의 묻힌 곳을 아는 자가 없느니라
6 He buried him in Moab, in the valley opposite Beth Peor, but to this day no one knows where his grave is.
7 모세가 죽을 때 나이 백이십 세였으나 그의 눈이 흐리지 아니하였고 기력이 쇠하지 아니하였더라
7 Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died, yet his eyes were not weak nor his strength gone.
8 이스라엘 자손이 모압 평지에서 모세를 위하여 애곡하는 기간이 끝나도록 모세를 위하여 삼십 일을 애곡하니라
8 The Israelites grieved for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days, until the time of weeping and mourning was over.
9 모세가 눈의 아들 여호수아에게 안수하였으므로 그에게 지혜의 영이 충만하니 이스라엘 자손이 여호와께서 모세에게 명령하신 대로 여호수아의 말을 순종하였더라
9 Now Joshua son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom because Moses had laid his hands on him. So the Israelites listened to him and did what the LORD had commanded Moses.
10 그 후에는 이스라엘에 모세와 같은 선지자가 일어나지 못하였나니 모세는 여호와께서 대면하여 아시던 자요
10 Since then, no prophet has risen in Israel like Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face,
11 여호와께서 그를 애굽 땅에 보내사 바로와 그의 모든 신하와 그의 온 땅에 모든 이적과 기사와
11 who did all those miraculous signs and wonders the LORD sent him to do in Egypt--to Pharaoh and to all his officials and to his whole land.
12 모든 큰 권능과 위엄을 행하게 하시매 온 이스라엘의 목전에서 그것을 행한 자이더라
12 For no one has ever shown the mighty power or performed the awesome deeds that Moses did in the sight of all Israel.누가복음

35 허리에 띠를 띠고 등불을 켜고 서 있으라
35 Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning,
36 너희는 마치 그 주인이 혼인 집에서 돌아와 문을 두드리면 곧 열어 주려고 기다리는 사람과 같이 되라
36 like men waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him.
37 주인이 와서 깨어 있는 것을 보면 그 종들은 복이 있으리로다 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 주인이 띠를 띠고 그 종들을 자리에 앉히고 나아와 수종들리라
37 It will be good for those servants whose master finds them watching when he comes. I tell you the truth, he will dress himself to serve, will have them recline at the table and will come and wait on them.
38 주인이 혹 이경에나 혹 삼경에 이르러서도 종들이 그같이 하고 있는 것을 보면 그 종들은 복이 있으리로다
38 It will be good for those servants whose master finds them ready, even if he comes in the second or third watch of the night.
39 너희도 아는 바니 집 주인이 만일 도둑이 어느 때에 이를 줄 알았더라면 그 집을 뚫지 못하게 하였으리라
39 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into.
40 그러므로 너희도 준비하고 있으라 생각하지 않은 때에 인자가 오리라 하시니라
40 You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him."
41 베드로가 여짜오되 주께서 이 비유를 우리에게 하심이니이까 모든 사람에게 하심이니이까
41 Peter asked, "Lord, are you telling this parable to us, or to everyone?"
42 주께서 이르시되 지혜 있고 진실한 청지기가 되어 주인에게 그 집 종들을 맡아 때를 따라 양식을 나누어 줄 자가 누구냐
42 The Lord answered, "Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the master puts in charge of his servants to give them their food allowance at the proper time?
43 주인이 이를 때에 그 종이 그렇게 하는 것을 보면 그 종은 복이 있으리로다
43 It will be good for that servant whom the master finds doing so when he returns.
44 내가 참으로 너희에게 이르노니 주인이 그 모든 소유를 그에게 맡기리라
44 I tell you the truth, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.
45 만일 그 종이 마음에 생각하기를 주인이 더디 오리라 하여 남녀 종들을 때리며 먹고 마시고 취하게 되면
45 But suppose the servant says to himself, `My master is taking a long time in coming,` and he then begins to beat the menservants and maidservants and to eat and drink and get drunk.
46 생각하지 않은 날 알지 못하는 시각에 그 종의 주인이 이르러 엄히 때리고 신실하지 아니한 자의 받는 벌에 처하리니
46 The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the unbelievers.
47 주인의 뜻을 알고도 준비하지 아니하고 그 뜻대로 행하지 아니한 종은 많이 맞을 것이요
47 That servant who knows his master`s will and does not get ready or does not do what his master wants will be beaten with many blows.
48 알지 못하고 맞을 일을 행한 종은 적게 맞으리라 무릇 많이 받은 자에게는 많이 요구할 것이요 많이 맡은 자에게는 많이 달라 할 것이니라
48 But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.
