17
1 예수께서 이 말씀을 하시고 눈을 들어 하늘을 우러러 이르시되 아버지여 때가 이르렀사오니 아들을 영화롭게 하사 아들로 아버지를 영화롭게 하게 하옵소서
1 After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: "Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you.
2 아버지께서 아들에게 주신 모든 사람에게 영생을 주게 하시려고 만민을 다스리는 권세를 아들에게 주셨음이로소이다
2 For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him.
3 영생은 곧 유일하신 참 하나님과 그가 보내신 자 예수 그리스도를 아는 것이니이다
3 Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
4 아버지께서 내게 하라고 주신 일을 내가 이루어 아버지를 이 세상에서 영화롭게 하였사오니
4 I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do.
5 아버지여 창세 전에 내가 아버지와 함께 가졌던 영화로써 지금도 아버지와 함께 나를 영화롭게 하옵소서
5 And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.
6 세상 중에서 내게 주신 사람들에게 내가 아버지의 이름을 나타내었나이다 그들은 아버지의 것이었는데 내게 주셨으며 그들은 아버지의 말씀을 지키었나이다
6 I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word.
7 지금 그들은 아버지께서 내게 주신 것이 다 아버지로부터 온 것인 줄 알았나이다
7 Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you.
8 나는 아버지께서 내게 주신 말씀들을 그들에게 주었사오며 그들은 이것을 받고 내가 아버지께로부터 나온 줄을 참으로 아오며 아버지께서 나를 보내신 줄도 믿었사옵나이다
8 For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me.
9 내가 그들을 위하여 비옵나니 내가 비옵는 것은 세상을 위함이 아니요 내게 주신 자들을 위함이니이다 그들은 아버지의 것이로소이다
9 I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours.
10 내 것은 다 아버지의 것이요 아버지의 것은 내 것이온데 내가 그들로 말미암아 영광을 받았나이다
10 All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them.
11 나는 세상에 더 있지 아니하오나 그들은 세상에 있사옵고 나는 아버지께로 가옵나니 거룩하신 아버지여 내게 주신 아버지의 이름으로 그들을 보전하사 우리와 같이 그들도 하나가 되게 하옵소서
11 I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name--the name you gave me--so that they may be one as we are one.
12 내가 그들과 함께 있을 때에 내게 주신 아버지의 이름으로 그들을 보전하고 지키었나이다 그 중의 하나도 멸망하지 않고 다만 멸망의 자식뿐이오니 이는 성경을 응하게 함이니이다
12 While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled.
13 지금 내가 아버지께로 가오니 내가 세상에서 이 말을 하옵는 것은 그들로 내 기쁨을 그들 안에 충만히 가지게 하려 함이니이다
13 I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them.
14 내가 아버지의 말씀을 그들에게 주었사오매 세상이 그들을 미워하였사오니 이는 내가 세상에 속하지 아니함 같이 그들도 세상에 속하지 아니함으로 인함이니이다
14 I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world.
15 내가 비옵는 것은 그들을 세상에서 데려가시기를 위함이 아니요 다만 악에 빠지지 않게 보전하시기를 위함이니이다
15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.
16 내가 세상에 속하지 아니함 같이 그들도 세상에 속하지 아니하였사옵나이다
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of it.
17 그들을 진리로 거룩하게 하옵소서 아버지의 말씀은 진리니이다
17 Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.
18 아버지께서 나를 세상에 보내신 것 같이 나도 그들을 세상에 보내었고
18 As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world.
19 또 그들을 위하여 내가 나를 거룩하게 하오니 이는 그들도 진리로 거룩함을 얻게 하려 함이니이다
19 For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.
20 내가 비옵는 것은 이 사람들만 위함이 아니요 또 그들의 말로 말미암아 나를 믿는 사람들도 위함이니
20 My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message,
21 아버지여, 아버지께서 내 안에, 내가 아버지 안에 있는 것 같이 그들도 다 하나가 되어 우리 안에 있게 하사 세상으로 아버지께서 나를 보내신 것을 믿게 하옵소서
21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
22 내게 주신 영광을 내가 그들에게 주었사오니 이는 우리가 하나가 된 것 같이 그들도 하나가 되게 하려 함이니이다
22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one:
23 곧 내가 그들 안에 있고 아버지께서 내 안에 계시어 그들로 온전함을 이루어 하나가 되게 하려 함은 아버지께서 나를 보내신 것과 또 나를 사랑하심 같이 그들도 사랑하신 것을 세상으로 알게 하려 함이로소이다
23 I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
24 아버지여 내게 주신 자도 나 있는 곳에 나와 함께 있어 아버지께서 창세 전부터 나를 사랑하시므로 내게 주신 나의 영광을 그들로 보게 하시기를 원하옵나이다
24 Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.
25 의로우신 아버지여 세상이 아버지를 알지 못하여도 나는 아버지를 알았사옵고 그들도 아버지께서 나를 보내신 줄 알았사옵나이다
25 Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me.
26 내가 아버지의 이름을 그들에게 알게 하였고 또 알게 하리니 이는 나를 사랑하신 사랑이 그들 안에 있고 나도 그들 안에 있게 하려 함이니이다
26 I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them."시편 (Psalms)
171 여호와여 의의 호소를 들으소서 나의 울부짖음에 주의하소서 거짓 되지 아니한 입술에서 나오는 나의 기도에 귀를 기울이소서
1 Hear, O LORD, my righteous plea; listen to my cry. Give ear to my prayer-- it does not rise from deceitful lips.
2 주께서 나를 판단하시며 주의 눈으로 공평함을 살피소서
2 May my vindication come from you; may your eyes see what is right.
3 주께서 내 마음을 시험하시고 밤에 내게 오시어서 나를 감찰하셨으나 흠을 찾지 못하셨사오니 내가 결심하고 입으로 범죄하지 아니하리이다
3 Though you probe my heart and examine me at night, though you test me, you will find nothing; I have resolved that my mouth will not sin.
4 사람의 행사로 논하면 나는 주의 입술의 말씀을 따라 스스로 삼가서 포악한 자의 길을 가지 아니하였사오며
4 As for the deeds of men-- by the word of your lips I have kept myself from the ways of the violent.
5 나의 걸음이 주의 길을 굳게 지키고 실족하지 아니하였나이다
5 My steps have held to your paths; my feet have not slipped.
6 하나님이여 내게 응답하시겠으므로 내가 불렀사오니 내게 귀를 기울여 내 말을 들으소서
6 I call on you, O God, for you will answer me; give ear to me and hear my prayer.
7 주께 피하는 자들을 그 일어나 치는 자들에게서 오른손으로 구원하시는 주여 주의 기이한 사랑을 나타내소서
7 Show the wonder of your great love, you who save by your right hand those who take refuge in you from their foes.
8 나를 눈동자 같이 지키시고 주의 날개 그늘 아래에 감추사
8 Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings
9 내 앞에서 나를 압제하는 악인들과 나의 목숨을 노리는 원수들에게서 벗어나게 하소서
9 from the wicked who assail me, from my mortal enemies who surround me.
10 그들의 마음은 기름에 잠겼으며 그들의 입은 교만하게 말하나이다
10 They close up their callous hearts, and their mouths speak with arrogance.
11 이제 우리가 걸어가는 것을 그들이 에워싸서 노려보고 땅에 넘어뜨리려 하나이다
11 They have tracked me down, they now surround me, with eyes alert, to throw me to the ground.
12 그는 그 움킨 것을 찢으려 하는 사자 같으며 은밀한 곳에 엎드린 젊은 사자 같으니이다
12 They are like a lion hungry for prey, like a great lion crouching in cover.
13 여호와여 일어나 그를 대항하여 넘어뜨리시고 주의 칼로 악인에게서 나의 영혼을 구원하소서
13 Rise up, O LORD, confront them, bring them down; rescue me from the wicked by your sword.
14 여호와여 이 세상에 살아 있는 동안 그들의 분깃을 받은 사람들에게서 주의 손으로 나를 구하소서 그들은 주의 재물로 배를 채우고 자녀로 만족하고 그들의 남은 산업을 그들의 어린 아이들에게 물려 주는 자니이다
14 O LORD, by your hand save me from such men, from men of this world whose reward is in this life. You still the hunger of those you cherish; their sons have plenty, and they store up wealth for their children.
15 나는 의로운 중에 주의 얼굴을 뵈오리니 깰 때에 주의 형상으로 만족하리이다
15 And I--in righteousness I will see your face; when I awake, I will be satisfied with seeing your likeness.
