예레미야
11장
1 여호와께로부터 예레미야에게 임한 말씀이라 이르시되
1 The word that came to Jeremiah from theLord:
2 너희는 이 언약의 말을 듣고 유다인과 예루살렘 주민에게 말하라
2 Hear the words of this covenant, and speak to the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
3 그들에게 이르기를 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께서 이와 같이 말씀하시되 이 언약의 말을 따르지 않는 자는 저주를 받을 것이니라
3 You shall say to them, Thus says theLord, the God of Israel:Cursed be the man who does not hear the words of this covenant
4 이 언약은 내가 너희 조상들을 쇠풀무 애굽 땅에서 이끌어내던 날에 그들에게 명령한 것이라 곧 내가 이르기를 너희는 내 목소리를 순종하고 나의 모든 명령을 따라 행하라 그리하면 너희는 내 백성이 되겠고 나는 너희의 하나님이 되리라
4 that I commanded your fathers when I brought them out of the land of Egypt,from the iron furnace, saying,Listen to my voice, and do all that I command you.So shall you be my people, and I will be your God,
5 내가 또 너희 조상들에게 한 맹세는 그들에게 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅을 주리라 한 언약을 이루리라 한 것인데 오늘이 그것을 증언하느니라 하라 하시기로 내가 대답하여 이르되 아멘 여호와여 하였노라
5 that I may confirm the oath that I swore to your fathers,to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as at this day.Then I answered,So be it,Lord.
6 여호와께서 내게 이르시되 너는 이 모든 말로 유다 성읍들과 예루살렘 거리에서 선포하여 이르기를 너희는 이 언약의 말을 듣고 지키라
6 And theLordsaid to me,Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem:Hear the words of this covenant and do them.
7 내가 너희 조상들을 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 낸 날부터 오늘까지 간절히 경계하며 끊임없이 경계하기를 너희는 내 목소리를 순종하라 하였으나
7 For I solemnly warned your fathers when I brought them up out of the land of Egypt,warning them persistently, even to this day, saying,Obey my voice.
8 그들이 순종하지 아니하며 귀를 기울이지도 아니하고 각각 그 악한 마음의 완악한 대로 행하였으므로 내가 그들에게 행하라 명령하였어도 그들이 행하지 아니한 이 언약의 모든 규정대로 그들에게 이루게 하였느니라 하라
8 Yet they did not obey or incline their ear,but everyone walked in the stubbornness of his evil heart. Therefore I brought upon them allthe words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do, but they did not.
9 여호와께서 또 내게 이르시되 유다인과 예루살렘 주민 중에 반역이 있도다
9 Again theLordsaid to me,A conspiracy exists among the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
10 그들이 내 말 듣기를 거절한 자기들의 선조의 죄악으로 돌아가서 다른 신들을 따라 섬겼은즉 이스라엘 집과 유다 집이 내가 그들의 조상들과 맺은 언약을 깨뜨렸도다
10 They have turned back tothe iniquities of their forefathers, who refused to hear my words.They have gone after other gods to serve them.The house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant that I made with their fathers.
11 그러므로 나 여호와가 이와 같이 말하노라 보라 내가 재앙을 그들에게 내리리니 그들이 피할 수 없을 것이라 그들이 내게 부르짖을지라도 내가 듣지 아니할 것인즉
11 Therefore, thus says theLord, Behold, I am bringing disaster upon them that they cannot escape.Though they cry to me, I will not listen to them.
12 유다 성읍들과 예루살렘 주민이 그 분향하는 신들에게 가서 부르짖을지라도 그 신들이 그 고난 가운데에서 절대로 그들을 구원하지 못하리라
12 Then the cities of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalemwill go and cry to the gods to whom they make offerings,but they cannot save them in the time of their trouble.
13 유다야 네 신들이 네 성읍의 수와 같도다 너희가 예루살렘 거리의 수대로 그 수치스러운 물건의 제단 곧 바알에게 분향하는 제단을 쌓았도다
13 For your gods have become as many as your cities, O Judah, and as many as the streets of Jerusalem are the altars you have set up to shame,altars to make offerings to Baal.
14 그러므로 너는 이 백성을 위하여 기도하지 말라 그들을 위하여 부르짖거나 구하지 말라 그들이 그 고난으로 말미암아 내게 부르짖을 때에 내가 그들에게서 듣지 아니하리라
14 Thereforedo not pray for this people, or lift up a cry or prayer on their behalf,for I will not listen when they call to me in the time of their trouble.
15 나의 사랑하는 자가 많은 악한 음모를 꾸미더니 나의 집에서 무엇을 하려느냐 거룩한 제물 고기로 네 재난을 피할 수 있겠느냐 그 때에 네가 기뻐하겠느냐
15 What right has my beloved in my house,when she has done many vile deeds? Can even sacrificial flesh avert your doom?Can you then exult?
16 여호와께서는 그의 이름을 일컬어 좋은 열매 맺는 아름다운 푸른 감람나무라 하였었으나 큰 소동 중에 그 위에 불을 피웠고 그 가지는 꺾였도다
16 TheLordonce called youa green olive tree, beautiful with good fruit.Butwith the roar of a great tempest he will set fire to it, andits branches will be consumed.
17 바알에게 분향함으로 나의 노여움을 일으킨 이스라엘 집과 유다 집의 악으로 말미암아 그를 심은 만군의 여호와께서 그에게 재앙을 선언하셨느니라
17 TheLordof hosts,who planted you, has decreed disaster against you, because of the evil that the house of Israel and the house of Judah have done,provoking me to anger by making offerings to Baal.
18 여호와께서 내게 알게 하셨으므로 내가 그것을 알았나이다 그 때에 주께서 그들의 행위를 내게 보이셨나이다
18 TheLordmade it known to me and I knew;then you showed me their deeds.
19 나는 끌려서 도살 당하러 가는 순한 어린 양과 같으므로 그들이 나를 해하려고 꾀하기를 우리가 그 나무와 열매를 함께 박멸하자 그를 살아 있는 자의 땅에서 끊어서 그의 이름이 다시 기억되지 못하게 하자 함을 내가 알지 못하였나이다
19 But I waslike a gentle lambled to the slaughter.I did not knowit was against methey devised schemes, saying,Let us destroy the tree with its fruit,let us cut him off fromthe land of the living,that his name be remembered no more.
20 공의로 판단하시며 사람의 마음을 감찰하시는 만군의 여호와여 나의 원통함을 주께 아뢰었사오니 그들에게 대한 주의 보복을 내가 보리이다 하였더니
20 But, OLordof hosts, who judges righteously,whoteststhe heart and the mind,let me see your vengeance upon them,for to you have I committed my cause.
21 여호와께서 아나돗 사람들에 대하여 이와 같이 말씀하시되 그들이 네 생명을 빼앗으려고 찾아 이르기를 너는 여호와의 이름으로 예언하지 말라 두렵건대 우리 손에 죽을까 하노라 하도다
21 Therefore thus says theLordconcerning the men ofAnathoth,who seek your life, and say,Do not prophesy in the name of theLord, or you will die by our hand&emdash;
22 그러므로 만군의 여호와께서 이와 같이 말씀하시니라 보라 내가 그들을 벌하리니 청년들은 칼에 죽으며 자녀들은 기근에 죽고
22 therefore thus says theLordof hosts:Behold, I will punish them. The young men shall die by the sword, their sons and their daughters shall die by famine,
23 남는 자가 없으리라 내가 아나돗 사람에게 재앙을 내리리니 곧 그들을 벌할 해에니라
23 and none of them shall be left. For I will bring disaster upon the men ofAnathoth,the year of their punishment.골로새서
4장
1 상전들아 의와 공평을 종들에게 베풀지니 너희에게도 하늘에 상전이 계심을 알지어다
1 Masters, treat your bondservants justly and fairly, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.
2 기도를 계속하고 기도에 감사함으로 깨어 있으라
2 Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in itwith thanksgiving.
3 또한 우리를 위하여 기도하되 하나님이 전도할 문을 우리에게 열어 주사 그리스도의 비밀을 말하게 하시기를 구하라 내가 이 일 때문에 매임을 당하였노라
3 At the same time, pray also for us, that God mayopen to us a door for the word,to declare the mystery of Christ,on account of which I am in prison&emdash;
4 그리하면 내가 마땅히 할 말로써 이 비밀을 나타내리라
4 that I may make it clear, which is how I ought to speak.
5 외인에게 대해서는 지혜로 행하여 세월을 아끼라
5 Walk in wisdom towardoutsiders, making the best use of the time.
6 너희 말을 항상 은혜 가운데서 소금으로 맛을 냄과 같이 하라 그리하면 각 사람에게 마땅히 대답할 것을 알리라
6 Let your speech alwaysbe gracious,seasoned with salt,so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.
7 두기고가 내 사정을 다 너희에게 알려 주리니 그는 사랑 받는 형제요 신실한 일꾼이요 주 안에서 함께 종이 된 자니라
7 Tychicus will tell youall about my activities. He is a beloved brother and faithful minister and fellow servantin the Lord.
8 내가 그를 특별히 너희에게 보내는 것은 너희로 우리 사정을 알게 하고 너희 마음을 위로하게 하려 함이라
8 I have sent him to you for this very purpose, that you may know how we are and that he may encourage your hearts,
9 신실하고 사랑을 받는 형제 오네시모를 함께 보내노니 그는 너희에게서 온 사람이라 그들이 여기 일을 다 너희에게 알려 주리라
9 and with himOnesimus, our faithful andbeloved brother, who is one of you. They will tell you of everything that has taken place here.
10 나와 함께 갇힌 아리스다고와 바나바의 생질 마가와 (이 마가에 대하여 너희가 명을 받았으매 그가 이르거든 영접하라)
10 Aristarchus my fellow prisoner greets you, and Markthe cousin of Barnabas (concerning whom you have received instructions&emdash;if he comes to you, welcome him),
11 유스도라 하는 예수도 너희에게 문안하느니라 그들은 할례파이나 이들만은 하나님의 나라를 위하여 함께 역사하는 자들이니 이런 사람들이 나의 위로가 되었느니라
11 and Jesus who is calledJustus.These are the only men of the circumcision among my fellow workers for the kingdom of God, andthey have been a comfort to me.
12 그리스도 예수의 종인 너희에게서 온 에바브라가 너희에게 문안하느니라 그가 항상 너희를 위하여 애써 기도하여 너희로 하나님의 모든 뜻 가운데서 완전하고 확신 있게 서기를 구하나니
12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, greets you, alwaysstruggling on your behalf in his prayers, that you may standmature and fully assured in all the will of God.
13 그가 너희와 라오디게아에 있는 자들과 히에라볼리에 있는 자들을 위하여 많이 수고하는 것을 내가 증언하노라
13 For I bear him witness that he has worked hard for you and for those in Laodicea and in Hierapolis.
14 사랑을 받는 의사 누가와 또 데마가 너희에게 문안하느니라
14 Luke the beloved physician greets you, as doesDemas.
15 라오디게아에 있는 형제들과 눔바와 그 여자의 집에 있는 교회에 문안하고
15 Give my greetings to the brothersat Laodicea, and to Nympha andthe church in her house.
16 이 편지를 너희에게서 읽은 후에 라오디게아인의 교회에서도 읽게 하고 또 라오디게아로부터 오는 편지를 너희도 읽으라
16 And whenthis letter has been read among you, have it also read in the church of the Laodiceans; and see that you also read the letter from Laodicea.
17 아킵보에게 이르기를 주 안에서 받은 직분을 삼가 이루라고 하라
17 And say toArchippus,See that you fulfillthe ministry that you have received in the Lord.
18 나 바울은 친필로 문안하노니 내가 매인 것을 생각하라 은혜가 너희에게 있을지어다
18 I, Paul,write this greeting with my own hand.Remembermy chains.Grace be with you.
