11:1-12:24
1 유대에 있는 사도들과 형제들이 이방인들도 하나님 말씀을 받았다 함을 들었더니
1 The apostles and the brothers throughout Judea heard that the Gentiles also had received the word of God.
2 베드로가 예루살렘에 올라갔을 때에 할례자들이 힐난하여
2 So when Peter went up to Jerusalem, the circumcised believers criticized him
3 가로되 네가 무할례자의 집에 들어가 함께 먹었다 하니
3 and said, "You went into the house of uncircumcised men and ate with them."
4 베드로가 저희에게 이 일을 차례로 설명하여
4 Peter began and explained everything to them precisely as it had happened:
5 가로되 내가 욥바성에서 기도할 때에 비몽사몽간에 환상을 보니 큰 보자기 같은 그릇을 네 귀를 매어 하늘로부터 내리워 내 앞에까지 드리우거늘
5 I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance I saw a vision. I saw something like a large sheet being let down from heaven by its four corners, and it came down to where I was.
6 이것을 주목하여 보니 땅에 네 발 가진 것과 들짐승과 기는 것과 공중에 나는 것들이 보이더라
6 I looked into it and saw four-footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, reptiles, and birds of the air.
7 또 들으니 소리 있어 내게 이르되 베드로야 일어나 잡아 먹으라 하거늘
7 Then I heard a voice telling me, `Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.`
8 내가 가로되 주여 그럴 수 없나이다 속되거나 깨끗지 아니한 물건은 언제든지 내 입에 들어간 일이 없나이다 하니
8 I replied, `Surely not, Lord! Nothing impure or unclean has ever entered my mouth.`
9 또 하늘로부터 두 번째 소리 있어 내게 대답하되 하나님이 깨끗하게 하신 것을 네가 속되다 말라 하더라
9 The voice spoke from heaven a second time, `Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.`
10 이런 일이 세 번 있은 후에 모든 것이 다시 하늘로 끌려 올라가더라
10 This happened three times, and then it was all pulled up to heaven again.
11 마침 세 사람이 내 우거한 집 앞에 섰으니 가이사랴에서 내게로 보낸 사람이라
11 Right then three men who had been sent to me from Caesarea stopped at the house where I was staying.
12 성령이 내게 명하사 아무 의심 말고 함께 가라 하시매 이 여섯 형제도 나와 함께 가서 그 사람의 집에 들어가니
12 The Spirit told me to have no hesitation about going with them. These six brothers also went with me, and we entered the man`s house.
13 그가 우리에게 말하기를 천사가 내 집에 서서 말하되 네가 사람을 욥바에 보내어 베드로라 하는 시몬을 청하라
13 He told us how he had seen an angel appear in his house and say, `Send to Joppa for Simon who is called Peter.
14 그가 너와 네 온 집의 구원 얻을 말씀을 네게 이르리라 함을 보았다 하거늘
14 He will bring you a message through which you and all your household will be saved.`
15 내가 말을 시작할 때에 성령이 저희에게 임하시기를 처음 우리에게 하신 것과 같이 하는지라
15 As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit came on them as he had come on us at the beginning.
16 내가 주의 말씀에 요한은 물로 세례 주었으나 너희는 성령으로 세례 받으리라 하신것이 생각났노라
16 Then I remembered what the Lord had said: `John baptized withwater, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.`
17 그런즉 하나님이 우리가 주 예수 그리스도를 믿을 때에 주신 것과 같은 선물을 저희에게도 주셨으니 내가 누구관대 하나님을 능히 막겠느냐 하더라
17 So if God gave them the same gift as he gave us, who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could oppose God?"
18 저희가 이 말을 듣고 잠잠하여 하나님께 영광을 돌려 가로되 그러면 하나님께서 이방인에게도 생명 얻는 회개를 주셨도다 하니라
18 When they heard this, they had no further objections and praised God, saying, "So then, God has granted even the Gentiles repentance unto life."
19 때에 스데반의 일로 일어난 환난을 인하여 흩어진 자들이 베니게와 구브로와 안디옥까지 이르러 도를 유대인에게만 전하는데
19 Now those who had been scattered by the persecution in connection with Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus and Antioch, telling the message only to Jews.
20 그 중에 구브로와 구레네 몇 사람이 안디옥에 이르러 헬라인에게도 말하여 주 예수를 전파하니
20 Some of them, however, men from Cyprus and Cyrene, went to Antioch and began to speak to Greeks also, telling them the good news about the Lord Jesus.
21 주의 손이 그들과 함께 하시매 수다한 사람이 믿고 주께 돌아오더라
21 The Lord`s hand was with them, and a great number of people believed and turned to the Lord.
22 예루살렘 교회가 이 사람들의 소문을 듣고 바나바를 안디옥까지 보내니
22 News of this reached the ears of the church at Jerusalem, and they sent Barnabas to Antioch.
23 저가 이르러 하나님의 은혜를 보고 기뻐하여 모든 사람에게 굳은 마음으로 주께 붙어 있으라 권하니
23 When he arrived and saw the evidence of the grace of God, he was glad and encouraged them all to remain true to the Lord with all their hearts.
24 바나바는 착한 사람이요 성령과 믿음이 충만한 자라 이에 큰 무리가 주께 더하더라
24 He was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and faith, and a great number of people were brought to the Lord.
25 바나바가 사울을 찾으러 다소에 가서
25 Then Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul,
26 만나매 안디옥에 데리고 와서 둘이 교회에 일년간 모여 있어 큰 무리를 가르쳤고 제자들이 안디옥에서 비로소 그리스도인이라 일컬음을 받게 되었더라
26 and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. So for a whole year Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch.
27 그 때에 선지자들이 예루살렘에서 안디옥에 이르니
27 During this time some prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch.
28 그 중에 아가보라 하는 한 사람이 일어나 성령으로 말하되 천하가 크게 흉년 들리라 하더니 글라우디오 때에 그렇게 되니라
28 One of them, named Agabus, stood up and through the Spirit predicted that a severe famine would spread over the entire Roman world. (This happened during the reign of Claudius.)
29 제자들이 각각 그 힘대로 유대에 사는 형제들에게 부조를 보내기로 작정하고
29 The disciples, each according to his ability, decided to provide help for the brothers living in Judea.
30 이를 실행하여 바나바와 사울의 손으로 장로들에게 보내니라
30 This they did, sending their gift to the elders by Barnabas and Saul.
12장
1 그 때에 헤롯왕이 손을 들어 교회 중 몇 사람을 해하려하여
1 It was about this time that King Herod arrested some who belonged to the church, intending to persecute them.
2 요한의 형제 야고보를 칼로 죽이니
2 He had James, the brother of John, put to death with the sword.
3 유대인들이 이 일을 기뻐하는 것을 보고 베드로도 잡으려 할쌔 때는 무교절일이라
3 When he saw that this pleased the Jews, he proceeded to seize Peter also. This happened during the Feast of Unleavened Bread.
4 잡으매 옥에 가두어 군사 넷씩인 네 패에게 맡겨 지키고 유월절 후에 백성 앞에 끌어 내고자 하더라
4 After arresting him, he put him in prison, handing him over to be guarded by four squads of four soldiers each. Herod intended to bring him out for public trial after the Passover.
5 이에 베드로는 옥에 갇혔고 교회는 그를 위하여 간절히 하나님께 빌더라
5 So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.
6 헤롯이 잡아 내려고 하는 그 전날 밤에 베드로가 두 군사 틈에서 두 쇠사슬에 매여 누워 자는데 파숫군들이 문 밖에서 옥을 지키더니
6 The night before Herod was to bring him to trial, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries stood guard at the entrance.
7 홀연히 주의 사자가 곁에 서매 옥중에 광채가 조요하며 또 베드로의 옆구리를 쳐 깨워 가로되 급히 일어나라 하니 쇠사슬이 그 손에서 벗어지더라
7 Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. "Quick, get up!" he said, and the chains fell off Peter`s wrists.
8 천사가 가로되 띠를 띠고 신을 들메라 하거늘 베드로가 그대로 하니 천사가 또 가로되 겉옷을 입고 따라 오라 한대
8 Then the angel said to him, "Put on your clothes and sandals." And Peter did so. "Wrap your cloak around you and follow me," the angel told him.
9 베드로가 나와서 따라갈쌔 천사의 하는 것이 참인줄 알지 못하고 환상을 보는가 하니라
9 Peter followed him out of the prison, but he had no idea that what the angel was doing was really happening; he thought he was seeing a vision.
10 이에 첫째와 둘째 파수를 지나 성으로 통한 쇠문에 이르니 문이 절로 열리는지라 나와 한 거리를 지나매 천사가 곧 떠나더라
10 They passed the first and second guards and came to the iron gate leading to the city. It opened for them by itself, and they went through it. When they had walked the length of one street, suddenly the angel left him.
11 이에 베드로가 정신이 나서 가로되 내가 이제야 참으로 주께서 그의 천사를 보내어 나를 헤롯의 손과 유대 백성의 모든 기대에서 벗어나게 하신줄 알겠노라 하여
11 Then Peter came to himself and said, "Now I know without a doubt that the Lord sent his angel and rescued me from Herod`s clutches and from everything the Jewish people were anticipating."
12 깨닫고 마가라 하는 요한의 어머니 마리아의 집에 가니 여러 사람이 모여 기도하더라
12 When this had dawned on him, he went to the house of Mary the mother of John, also called Mark, where many people had gathered and were praying.
13 베드로가 대문을 두드린대 로데라 하는 계집 아이가 영접하러 나왔다가
13 Peter knocked at the outer entrance, and a servant girl named Rhoda came to answer the door.
14 베드로의 음성인줄 알고 기뻐하여 문을 미처 열지 못하고 달려 들어가 말하되 베드로가 대문 밖에 섰더라 하니
14 When she recognized Peter`s voice, she was so overjoyed she ran back without opening it and exclaimed, "Peter is at the door!"
15 저희가 말하되 네가 미쳤다 하나 계집 아이는 힘써 말하되 참말이라 하니 저희가 말하되 그러면 그의 천사라 하더라
15 You`re out of your mind, they told her. When she kept insisting that it was so, they said, "It must be his angel."
16 베드로가 문 두드리기를 그치지 아니하니 저희가 문을 열어 베드로를 보고 놀라는지라
16 But Peter kept on knocking, and when they opened the door and saw him, they were astonished.
17 베드로가 저희에게 손짓하여 종용하게 하고 주께서 자기를 이끌어 옥에서 나오게 하던 일을 말하고 또 야고보와 형제들에게 이 말을 전하라 하고 떠나 다른 곳으로 가니라
17 Peter motioned with his hand for them to be quiet and described how the Lord had brought him out of prison. "Tell James and the brothers about this," he said, and then he left for another place.
18 날이 새매 군사들은 베드로가 어떻게 되었는지 알지 못하여 적지 않게 소동하니
18 In the morning, there was no small commotion among the soldiers as to what had become of Peter.
19 헤롯이 그를 찾아도 보지 못하매 파숫군들을 심문하고 죽이라 명하니라 헤롯이 유대를 떠나 가이사랴로 내려가서 거하니라
19 After Herod had a thorough search made for him and did not find him, he cross-examined the guards and ordered that they be executed. Then Herod went from Judea to Caesarea and stayed there a while.
20 헤롯이 두로와 시돈 사람들을 대단히 노여워하나 저희 지방이 왕국에서 나는 양식을 쓰는고로 일심으로 그에게 나아와 왕의 침소 맡은 신하 블라스도를 친하여 화목하기를 청한지라
20 He had been quarreling with the people of Tyre and Sidon; they now joined together and sought an audience with him. Having secured the support of Blastus, a trusted personal servant of the king, they asked for peace, because they depended on the king`s country for their food supply.
21 헤롯이 날을 택하여 왕복을 입고 위에 앉아 백성을 효유한대
21 On the appointed day Herod, wearing his royal robes, sat on his throne and delivered a public address to the people.
22 백성들이 크게 부르되 이것은 신의 소리요 사람의 소리는 아니라 하거늘
22 They shouted, "This is the voice of a god, not of a man."
23 헤롯이 영광을 하나님께로 돌리지 아니하는고로 주의 사자가 곧 치니 충이 먹어 죽으니라
23 Immediately, because Herod did not give praise to God, an angel of the Lord struck him down, and he was eaten by worms and died.
24 하나님의 말씀은 흥왕하여 더하더라
24 But the word of God continued to increase and spread.
25 바나바와 사울이 부조의 일을 마치고 마가라 하는 요한을 데리고 예루살렘에서 돌아오니라
25 When Barnabas and Saul had finished their mission, they returned from Jerusalem, taking with them John, also called Mark.시편 (Psalms)
311 여호와여 내가 주께 피하오니 나로 영원히 부끄럽게 마시고 주의 의로 나를 건지소서
1 In you, O LORD, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; deliver me in your righteousness.
2 내게 귀를 기울여 속히 건지시고 내게 견고한 바위와 구원하는 보장이 되소서
2 Turn your ear to me, come quickly to my rescue; be my rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save me.
3 주는 나의 반석과 산성이시니 그러므로 주의 이름을 인하여 나를 인도하시고 지도하소서
3 Since you are my rock and my fortress, for the sake of your name lead and guide me.
4 저희가 나를 위하여 비밀히 친 그물에서 빼어 내소서 주는 나의 산성이시니이다
4 Free me from the trap that is set for me, for you are my refuge.
5 내가 나의 영을 주의 손에 부탁하나이다 진리의 하나님 여호와여 나를 구속하셨나이다
5 Into your hands I commit my spirit; redeem me, O LORD, the God of truth.
6 내가 허탄한 거짓을 숭상하는 자를 미워하고 여호와를 의지하나이다
6 I hate those who cling to worthless idols; I trust in the LORD.
7 내가 주의 인자하심을 기뻐하며 즐거워할 것은 주께서 나의 곤란을 감찰하사 환난 중에 있는 내 영혼을 아셨고
7 I will be glad and rejoice in your love, for you saw my affliction and knew the anguish of my soul.
8 나를 대적의 수중에 금고치 아니하셨고 내 발을 넓은 곳에 세우셨음이니이다
8 You have not handed me over to the enemy but have set my feet in a spacious place.
9 여호와여 내 고통을 인하여 나를 긍휼히 여기소서 내가 근심으로 눈과 혼과 몸이 쇠하였나이다
9 Be merciful to me, O LORD, for I am in distress; my eyes grow weak with sorrow, my soul and my body with grief.
10 내 생명은 슬픔으로 보내며 나의 해는 탄식으로 보냄이여 내 기력이 나의 죄악으로 약하며 나의 뼈가 쇠하도소이다
10 My life is consumed by anguish and my years by groaning; my strength fails because of my affliction, and my bones grow weak.
11 내가 모든 대적으로 말미암아 욕을 당하고 내 이웃에게서는 심히 당하니 내 친구가 놀라고 길에서 보는 자가 나를 피하였나이다
11 Because of all my enemies, I am the utter contempt of my neighbors; I am a dread to my friends-- those who see me on the street flee from me.
12 내가 잊어버린바 됨이 사망한 자를 마음에 두지 아니함 같고 파기와 같으니이다
12 I am forgotten by them as though I were dead; I have become like broken pottery.
13 내가 무리의 비방을 들으오며 사방에 두려움이 있나이다 저희가 나를 치려 의논할 때에 내 생명을 빼앗기로 꾀하였나이다
13 For I hear the slander of many; there is terror on every side; they conspire against me and plot to take my life.
14 여호와여 그러하여도 나는 주께 의지하고 말하기를 주는 내 하나님이시라 하였나이다
14 But I trust in you, O LORD; I say, "You are my God."
15 내 시대가 주의 손에 있사오니 내 원수와 핍박하는 자의 손에서 나를 건지소서
15 My times are in your hands; deliver me from my enemies and from those who pursue me.
16 주의 얼굴을 주의 종에게 비취시고 주의 인자하심으로 나를 구원하소서
16 Let your face shine on your servant; save me in your unfailing love.
17 여호와여 내가 주를 불렀사오니 나로 부끄럽게 마시고 악인을 부끄럽게 하사 음부에서 잠잠케 하소서
17 Let me not be put to shame, O LORD, for I have cried out to you; but let the wicked be put to shame and lie silent in the grave.
18 교만하고 완악한 말로 무례히 의인을 치는 거짓 입술로 벙어리 되게 하소서
18 Let their lying lips be silenced, for with pride and contempt they speak arrogantly against the righteous.
19 주를 두려워하는 자를 위하여 쌓아 두신 은혜 곧 인생 앞에서 주께 피하는 자를 위하여 베푸신 은혜가 어찌 그리 큰지요
19 How great is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you, which you bestow in the sight of men on those who take refuge in you.
20 주께서 저희를 주의 은밀한 곳에 숨기사 사람의 꾀에서 벗어나게 하시고 비밀히 장막에 감추사 구설의 다툼에서 면하게 하시리이다
20 In the shelter of your presence you hide them from the intrigues of men; in your dwelling you keep them safe from accusing tongues.
21 여호와를 찬송할지어다 견고한 성에서 그 기이한 인자를 내게 보이셨음이로다
21 Praise be to the LORD, for he showed his wonderful love to me when I was in a besieged city.
22 내가 경겁한 중에 말하기를 주의 목전에서 끊어졌다 하였사오나 내가 주께 부르짖을 때에 주께서 나의 간구하는 소리를 들으셨나이다
22 In my alarm I said, "I am cut off from your sight!" Yet you heard my cry for mercy when I called to you for help.
23 너희 모든 성도들아 여호와를 사랑하라 여호와께서 성실한 자를 보호하시고 교만히 행하는 자에게 엄중히 갚으시느니라
23 Love the LORD, all his saints! The LORD preserves the faithful, but the proud he pays back in full.
24 강하고 담대하라 여호와를 바라는 너희들아
24 Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the LORD.
