예레미야
42장
1 이에 모든 군대의 지휘관과 가레아의 아들 요하난과 호사야의 아들 여사냐와 백성의 낮은 자로부터 높은 자까지 다 나아와
1 Thenall the commanders of the forces, andJohanan the son of Kareah and Jezaniah the son ofHoshaiah, and all the peoplefrom the least to the greatest, came near
2 선지자 예레미야에게 이르되 당신은 우리의 탄원을 듣고 이 남아 있는 모든 자를 위하여 당신의 하나님 여호와께 기도해 주소서 당신이 보는 바와 같이 우리는 많은 사람 중에서 남은 적은 무리이니
2 and said to Jeremiah the prophet,Letour plea for mercy come before you, andpray to theLordyour God for us, for allthis remnant&emdash;because we are left with but a few, as your eyes see us&emdash;
3 당신의 하나님 여호와께서 우리가 마땅히 갈 길과 할 일을 보이시기를 원하나이다
3 thattheLordyour God may show us the way we should go, and the thing that we should do.
4 선지자 예레미야가 그들에게 이르되 내가 너희 말을 들었은즉 너희 말대로 너희 하나님 여호와께 기도하고 무릇 여호와께서 너희에게 응답하시는 것을 숨김이 없이 너희에게 말하리라
4 Jeremiah the prophet said to them,I have heard you. Behold, I will pray to theLordyour God according to your request, andwhatever theLordanswers you I will tell you.I will keep nothing back from you.
5 그들이 예레미야에게 이르되 우리가 당신의 하나님 여호와께서 당신을 보내사 우리에게 이르시는 모든 말씀대로 행하리이다 여호와께서는 우리 가운데에 진실하고 성실한 증인이 되시옵소서
5 Then they said to Jeremiah,May theLordbe a true andfaithful witness against usif we do not act according to all the wordwith which theLordyour God sends you to us.
6 우리가 당신을 우리 하나님 여호와께 보냄은 그의 목소리가 우리에게 좋든지 좋지 않든지를 막론하고 순종하려 함이라 우리가 우리 하나님 여호와의 목소리를 순종하면 우리에게 복이 있으리이다 하니라
6 Whether it is good or bad, we will obey the voice of theLordour God to whom we are sending you,that it may be well with us when we obey the voice of theLordour God.
7 십일 후에 여호와의 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하니
7 At the end of ten days the word of theLordcame to Jeremiah.
8 그가 가레아의 아들 요하난과 그와 함께 있는 모든 군 지휘관과 백성의 낮은 자로부터 높은 자까지 다 부르고
8 Then he summonedJohanan the son of Kareah andall the commanders of the forces who were with him, and all the peoplefrom the least to the greatest,
9 그들에게 이르되 너희가 나를 보내어 너희의 간구를 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께 드리게 하지 아니하였느냐 그가 이렇게 이르니라
9 and said to them,Thus says theLord, the God of Israel,to whom you sent me to present your plea for mercy before him:
10 너희가 이 땅에 눌러 앉아 산다면 내가 너희를 세우고 헐지 아니하며 너희를 심고 뽑지 아니하리니 이는 내가 너희에게 내린 재난에 대하여 뜻을 돌이킴이라
10 If you will remain in this land,then I will build you up and not pull you down; I will plant you, and not pluck you up;for I relent of the disaster that I did to you.
11 여호와의 말씀이니라 너희는 너희가 두려워하는 바벨론의 왕을 겁내지 말라 내가 너희와 함께 있어 너희를 구원하며 그의 손에서 너희를 건지리니 두려워하지 말라
11 Do not fear the king of Babylon,of whom you are afraid.Do not fear him, declares theLord,for I am with you, to save you and to deliver you from his hand.
12 내가 너희를 불쌍히 여기리니 그도 너희를 불쌍히 여겨 너희를 너희 본향으로 돌려보내리라 하셨느니라
12 I will grant you mercy, that he may have mercy on you and let you remain in your own land.
13 그러나 만일 너희가 너희 하나님 여호와의 말씀을 복종하지 아니하고 말하기를 우리는 이 땅에 살지 아니하리라 하며
13 But if you say,We will not remain in this land,disobeying the voice of theLordyour God
14 또 너희가 말하기를 아니라 우리는 전쟁도 보이지 아니하며 나팔 소리도 들리지 아니하며 양식의 궁핍도 당하지 아니하는 애굽 땅으로 들어가 살리라 하면 잘못되리라
14 and saying,No,we will go to the land of Egypt, where we shall not see war orhear the sound of the trumpet orbe hungry for bread, and we will dwell there,
15 너희 유다의 남은 자여 이제 여호와의 말씀을 들으라 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님께서 이와 같이 말씀하시되 너희가 만일 애굽에 들어가서 거기에 살기로 고집하면
15 then hear the word of theLord, O remnant of Judah. Thus says theLordof hosts, the God of Israel:If you set your faces to enter Egyptand go to live there,
16 너희가 두려워하는 칼이 애굽 땅으로 따라가서 너희에게 미칠 것이요 너희가 두려워하는 기근이 애굽으로 급히 따라가서 너희에게 임하리니 너희가 거기에서 죽을 것이라
16 then the swordthat you fear shall overtake you there in the land of Egypt, and the famine of which you are afraid shall follow close after you to Egypt,and there you shall die.
17 무릇 애굽으로 들어가서 거기에 머물러 살기로 고집하는 모든 사람은 이와 같이 되리니 곧 칼과 기근과 전염병에 죽을 것인즉 내가 그들에게 내리는 재난을 벗어나서 남을 자 없으리라
17 All the men who set their faces to go to Egypt to live there shall die by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence. They shall haveno remnant or survivor from the disaster that I will bring upon them.
18 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님께서 이와 같이 말씀하시되 나의 노여움과 분을 예루살렘 주민에게 부은 것 같이 너희가 애굽에 이를 때에 나의 분을 너희에게 부으리니 너희가 가증함과 놀램과 저주와 치욕 거리가 될 것이라 너희가 다시는 이 땅을 보지 못하리라 하시도다
18 For thus says theLordof hosts, the God of Israel:As my anger and my wrath were poured out on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so my wrath will be poured out on you when you go to Egypt.You shall become an execration, a horror, a curse, and a taunt. You shall see this place no more.
19 유다의 남은 자들아 여호와께서 너희를 두고 하신 말씀에 너희는 애굽으로 가지 말라 하셨고 나도 오늘 너희에게 경고한 것을 너희는 분명히 알라
19 TheLordhas said to you, O remnant of Judah,Do not go to Egypt.Know for a certainty that I have warned you this day
20 너희가 나를 너희 하나님 여호와께 보내며 이르기를 우리를 위하여 우리 하나님 여호와께 기도하고 우리 하나님 여호와께서 말씀하신 대로 우리에게 전하라 우리가 그대로 행하리라 하여 너희 마음을 속였느니라
20 that you have gone astray at the cost of your lives.For you sent me to theLordyour God, saying,Pray for us to theLordour God, andwhatever theLordour God says declare to us and we will do it.
21 너희 하나님 여호와께서 나를 보내사 너희에게 명하신 말씀을 내가 오늘 너희에게 전하였어도 너희가 너희 하나님 여호와의 목소리를 도무지 순종하지 아니하였은즉
21 And I have this day declared it to you, but you have not obeyed the voice of theLordyour God in anythingthat he sent me to tell you.
22 너희가 가서 머물려고 하는 곳에서 칼과 기근과 전염병에 죽을 줄 분명히 알지니라
22 Now therefore know for a certainty that you shall die by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence in the place where you desire to go to live.
43장
1 예레미야가 모든 백성에게 그들의 하나님 여호와의 말씀 곧 그들의 하나님 여호와께서 자기를 보내사 그들에게 이르신 이 모든 말씀을 말하기를 마치니
1 When Jeremiah finished speaking to all the people all these words of theLordtheir God, with which theLordtheir God had sent him to them,
2 호사야의 아들 아사랴와 가레아의 아들 요하난과 모든 오만한 자가 예레미야에게 말하기를 네가 거짓을 말하는도다 우리 하나님 여호와께서 너희는 애굽에서 살려고 그리로 가지 말라고 너를 보내어 말하게 하지 아니하셨느니라
2 Azariah the son ofHoshaiah andJohanan the son of Kareah andall the insolent men said to Jeremiah,You are telling a lie. TheLordour God did not send you to say,Do not go to Egypt to live there,
3 이는 네리야의 아들 바룩이 너를 부추겨서 우리를 대적하여 갈대아 사람의 손에 넘겨 죽이며 바벨론으로 붙잡아가게 하려 함이라
3 butBaruch the son of Neriahhas set you against us,to deliver us into the hand of the Chaldeans, that they may kill us or take us into exile in Babylon.
4 이에 가레아의 아들 요하난과 모든 군 지휘관과 모든 백성이 유다 땅에 살라 하시는 여호와의 목소리를 순종하지 아니하고
4 SoJohanan the son of Kareah and allthe commanders of the forces and all the people did not obey the voice of theLord, to remain in the land of Judah.
5 가레아의 아들 요하난과 모든 군 지휘관이 유다의 남은 자 곧 쫓겨났던 여러 나라 가운데에서 유다 땅에 살려 하여 돌아온 자
5 But Johanan the son of Kareah and all the commanders of the forces tookall the remnant of Judah who had returned to live in the land of Judah from all the nations to which they had been driven&emdash;
6 곧 남자와 여자와 유아와 왕의 딸들과 사령관 느부사라단이 사반의 손자 아히감의 아들 그다랴에게 맡겨 둔 모든 사람과 선지자 예레미야와 네리야의 아들 바룩을 거느리고
6 the men, the women, the children,the princesses, and every person whomNebuzaradan the captain of the guard had left withGedaliah the son of Ahikam, son of Shaphan; also Jeremiah the prophet and Baruch the son of Neriah.
7 애굽 땅에 들어가 다바네스에 이르렀으니 그들이 여호와의 목소리를 순종하지 아니함이러라
7 And they came into the land of Egypt, for they did not obey the voice of theLord. And they arrived atTahpanhes.
8 다바네스에서 여호와의 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하여 이르시되
8 Then the word of theLordcame to Jeremiah inTahpanhes:
9 너는 유다 사람의 눈 앞에서 네 손으로 큰 돌 여러 개를 가져다가 다바네스에 있는 바로의 궁전 대문의 벽돌로 쌓은 축대에 진흙으로 감추라
9 Take in your hands large stones and hide them in the mortar in the pavement that is at the entrance to Pharaoh's palace inTahpanhes, in the sight of the men of Judah,
10 그리고 너는 그들에게 말하기를 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님께서 이와 같이 말씀하시되 보라 내가 내 종 바벨론의 느부갓네살 왕을 불러오리니 그가 그의 왕좌를 내가 감추게 한 이 돌들 위에 놓고 또 그 화려한 큰 장막을 그 위에 치리라
10 and say to them,Thus says theLordof hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon,my servant,and I will set his throne above these stones that I have hidden, and he will spread his royal canopy over them.
11 그가 와서 애굽 땅을 치고 죽일 자는 죽이고 사로잡을 자는 사로잡고 칼로 칠 자는 칼로 칠 것이라
11 He shall comeand strike the land of Egypt,giving over to the pestilence those who are doomed to the pestilence, to captivity those who are doomed to captivity, and to the sword those who are doomed to the sword.
12 내가 애굽 신들의 신당들을 불지르리라 느부갓네살이 그들을 불사르며 그들을 사로잡을 것이요 목자가 그의 몸에 옷을 두름 같이 애굽 땅을 자기 몸에 두르고 평안히 그 곳을 떠날 것이며
12 I shall kindle a firein the temples of the gods of Egypt, and he shall burn themand carry them away captive.And he shall clean the land of Egyptas a shepherd cleans his cloak of vermin, and he shall go away from there in peace.
13 그가 또 애굽 땅 벧세메스의 석상들을 깨뜨리고 애굽 신들의 신당들을 불사르리라 하셨다 할지니라 하시니라
13 He shall break theobelisks of Heliopolis, which is in the land of Egypt,and the temples of the gods of Egypt he shall burn with fire.디모데 후서
2장
1 내 아들아 그러므로 너는 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 은혜 가운데서 강하고
1 You then,my child,be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus,
2 또 네가 많은 증인 앞에서 내게 들은 바를 충성된 사람들에게 부탁하라 그들이 또 다른 사람들을 가르칠 수 있으리라
2 andwhat you have heard from me in the presence of many witnessesentrust to faithful menwho will be able to teach others also.
3 너는 그리스도 예수의 좋은 병사로 나와 함께 고난을 받으라
3 Share in suffering asa good soldier of Christ Jesus.
4 병사로 복무하는 자는 자기 생활에 얽매이는 자가 하나도 없나니 이는 병사로 모집한 자를 기쁘게 하려 함이라
4 No soldiergets entangled in civilian pursuits, since his aim is to please the one who enlisted him.
5 경기하는 자가 법대로 경기하지 아니하면 승리자의 관을 얻지 못할 것이며
5 An athlete is notcrowned unless he competes according to the rules.
6 수고하는 농부가 곡식을 먼저 받는 것이 마땅하니라
6 It isthe hard-working farmer who ought to have the first share of the crops.
7 내가 말하는 것을 생각해 보라 주께서 범사에 네게 총명을 주시리라
7 Think over what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in everything.
8 내가 전한 복음대로 다윗의 씨로 죽은 자 가운데서 다시 살아나신 예수 그리스도를 기억하라
8 Remember Jesus Christ,risen from the dead, theoffspring of David,as preached in my gospel,
9 복음으로 말미암아 내가 죄인과 같이 매이는 데까지 고난을 받았으나 하나님의 말씀은 매이지 아니하니라
9 for which I am suffering,bound with chains as a criminal. Butthe word of God is not bound!
10 그러므로 내가 택함 받은 자들을 위하여 모든 것을 참음은 그들도 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 구원을 영원한 영광과 함께 받게 하려 함이라
10 ThereforeI endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtainthe salvation that is in Christ Jesus witheternal glory.
11 미쁘다 이 말이여 우리가 주와 함께 죽었으면 또한 함께 살 것이요
11 The saying istrustworthy, for:If we have died with him, we will alsolive with him;
12 참으면 또한 함께 왕 노릇 할 것이요 우리가 주를 부인하면 주도 우리를 부인하실 것이라
12 if we endure, we will also reign with him;if we deny him, he also will deny us;
13 우리는 미쁨이 없을지라도 주는 항상 미쁘시니 자기를 부인하실 수 없으시리라
13 if we are faithless,he remains faithful&emdash;forhe cannot deny himself.
