44장
24 예레미야가 다시 모든 백성과 모든 여인에게 말하되 애굽 땅에서 사는 모든 유다 사람이여 여호와의 말씀을 들으라
24 Jeremiah said to all the people and all the women,Hear the word of theLord,all you of Judah who are in the land of Egypt.
25 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님께서 이와 같이 말씀하시되 너희와 너희 아내들이 입으로 말하고 손으로 이루려 하여 이르기를 우리가 서원한 대로 반드시 이행하여 하늘의 여왕에게 분향하고 전제를 드리리라 하였은즉 너희 서원을 성취하며 너희 서원을 이행하라 하시느니라
25 Thus says theLordof hosts, the God of Israel:You and your wives have declared with your mouths, and have fulfilled it with your hands, saying,We will surely perform our vows that we have made,to make offerings to the queen of heaven and to pour out drink offerings to her.Then confirm your vows and perform your vows!
26 그러므로 애굽 땅에서 사는 모든 유다 사람이여 여호와의 말씀을 들으라 여호와께서 말씀하시되 보라 내가 나의 큰 이름으로 맹세하였은즉 애굽 온 땅에 사는 유다 사람들의 입에서 다시는 내 이름을 부르며 주 여호와의 살아 계심을 두고 맹세하노라 하는 자가 없으리라
26 Therefore hear the word of theLord,all you of Judah who dwell in the land of Egypt:Behold, I have sworn by my great name, says theLord,that my name shall no more be invoked by the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt,saying,As the LordGodlives.
27 보라 내가 깨어 있어 그들에게 재난을 내리고 복을 내리지 아니하리니 애굽 땅에 있는 유다 모든 사람이 칼과 기근에 망하여 멸절되리라
27 Behold, I am watching over them for disaster and not for good.All the men of Judah who are in the land of Egypt shall be consumed by the sword and by famine, until there is an end of them.
28 그런즉 칼을 피한 소수의 사람이 애굽 땅에서 나와 유다 땅으로 돌아오리니 애굽 땅에 들어가서 거기에 머물러 사는 유다의 모든 남은 자가 내 말과 그들의 말 가운데서 누구의 말이 진리인지 알리라
28 And those who escape the sword shall return from the land of Egypt to the land of Judah,few in number; and all the remnant of Judah, who came to the land of Egypt to live,shall know whose word will stand, mine or theirs.
29 여호와의 말씀이니라 내가 이 곳에서 너희를 벌할 표징이 이것이라 내가 너희에게 재난을 내리리라 한 말이 반드시 이루어질 것을 그것으로 알게 하리라
29 This shall be the sign to you, declares theLord, that I will punish you in this place, in order that you may know thatmy words will surely stand against you for harm:
30 보라 내가 유다의 시드기야 왕을 그의 원수 곧 그의 생명을 찾는 바벨론의 느부갓네살 왕의 손에 넘긴 것 같이 애굽의 바로 호브라 왕을 그의 원수들 곧 그의 생명을 찾는 자들의 손에 넘겨 주리라 여호와께서 이와 같이 말씀하셨느니라
30 Thus says theLord, Behold, I will givePharaoh Hophra king of Egypt into the hand of his enemiesand into the hand of those who seek his life, as I gaveZedekiah king of Judah into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, who was his enemy and sought his life.
45장
1 유다의 요시야 왕의 아들 여호야김 넷째 해에 네리야의 아들 바룩이 예레미야가 불러 주는 대로 이 모든 말을 책에 기록하니라 그 때에 선지자 예레미야가 그에게 말하여 이르되
1 The word that Jeremiah the prophet spoke toBaruch the son of Neriah,when he wrote these words in a book at the dictation of Jeremiah,in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah:
2 바룩아 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께서 네게 이같이 말씀하셨느니라
2 Thus says theLord, the God of Israel, to you, O Baruch:
3 네가 일찍이 말하기를 화로다 여호와께서 나의 고통에 슬픔을 더하셨으니 나는 나의 탄식으로 피곤하여 평안을 찾지 못하도다
3 You said,Woe is me! For theLordhas added sorrow to my pain.I am weary with my groaning,and I find no rest.
4 너는 그에게 이르라 여호와께서 이와 같이 말씀하시기를 보라 나는 내가 세운 것을 헐기도 하며 내가 심은 것을 뽑기도 하나니 온 땅에 그리하겠거늘
4 Thus shall you say to him, Thus says theLord:Behold, what I have built I am breaking down, and what I have planted I am plucking up&emdash;that is, the whole land.
5 네가 너를 위하여 큰 일을 찾느냐 그것을 찾지 말라 보라 내가 모든 육체에 재난을 내리리라 그러나 네가 가는 모든 곳에서는 내가 너에게 네 생명을 노략물 주듯 하리라 여호와의 말씀이니라
5 Anddo you seek great things for yourself? Seek them not, for behold,I am bringing disaster upon all flesh, declares theLord. But I will give youyour life as a prize of war in all places to which you may go.
46장
1 이방 나라들에 대하여 선지자 예레미야에게 임한 여호와의 말씀이라
1 The word of theLordthat came to Jeremiah the prophetconcerning the nations.
2 애굽에 관한 것이라 곧 유다의 요시야 왕의 아들 여호야김 넷째 해에 유브라데 강 가 갈그미스에서 바벨론의 느부갓네살 왕에게 패한 애굽의 왕 바로느고의 군대에 대한 말씀이라
2 About Egypt.Concerning the army of Pharaoh Neco, king of Egypt, which was by the river Euphrates at Carchemish and which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon defeated inthe fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah:
3 너희는 작은 방패와 큰 방패를 예비하고 나가서 싸우라
3 Prepare buckler and shield,and advance for battle!
4 너희 기병이여 말에 안장을 지워 타며 투구를 쓰고 나서며 창을 갈며 갑옷을 입으라
4 Harness the horses;mount, O horsemen!Take your stations with your helmets,polish your spears,put on your armor!
5 여호와의 말씀이니라 내가 본즉 그들이 놀라 물러가며 그들의 용사는 패하여 황급히 도망하며 뒤를 돌아보지 아니함은 어찜이냐 두려움이 그들의 사방에 있음이로다
5 Why have I seen it?They are dismayedand have turned backward.Theirwarriors are beaten downand have fled in haste;they look not back&emdash;terror on every side!declares theLord.
6 발이 빠른 자도 도망하지 못하며 용사도 피하지 못하고 그들이 다 북쪽에서 유브라데 강 가에 넘어지며 엎드러지는도다
6 The swift cannot flee away,nor the warrior escape;in the north by the river Euphratesthey have stumbled and fallen.
7 강의 물이 출렁임 같고 나일 강이 불어남 같은 자가 누구냐
7 Who is this,rising like the Nile,like riverswhose waters surge?
8 애굽은 나일 강이 불어남 같고 강물이 출렁임 같도다 그가 이르되 내가 일어나 땅을 덮어 성읍들과 그 주민을 멸할 것이라
8 Egypt rises like the Nile,like riverswhose waters surge.He said,I will rise, I will cover the earth,I will destroy cities and their inhabitants.
9 말들아 달려라 병거들아 정신 없이 달려라 용사여 나오라 방패 잡은 구스 사람과 붓 사람과 활을 당기는 루딤 사람이여 나올지니라 하거니와
9 Advance, O horses,and rage, O chariots!Let the warriors go out:men of Cush andPut who handle the shield,men of Lud, skilled in handling the bow.
10 그 날은 주 만군의 여호와께서 그의 대적에게 원수 갚는 보복일이라 칼이 배부르게 삼키며 그들의 피를 넘치도록 마시리니 주 만군의 여호와께서 북쪽 유브라데 강 가에서 희생제물을 받으실 것임이로다
10 That day is the day of the LordGodof hosts,a day of vengeance,to avenge himself on his foes.The sword shall devour and be satedand drink its fill of their blood.For the LordGodof hosts holdsa sacrificein the north countryby the river Euphrates.
11 처녀 딸 애굽이여 길르앗으로 올라가서 유향을 취하라 네가 치료를 많이 받아도 효력이 없어 낫지 못하리라
11 Go up to Gilead, and takebalm,O virgin daughter of Egypt!In vain you have used many medicines;there is no healing for you.
12 네 수치가 나라들에 들렸고 네 부르짖음은 땅에 가득하였나니 용사가 용사에게 걸려 넘어져 둘이 함께 엎드러졌음이라
12 The nations have heard of your shame,and the earth is full of your cry;for warrior has stumbled against warrior;they have both fallen together.디모데 후서
2장
20 큰 집에는 금 그릇과 은 그릇뿐 아니라 나무 그릇과 질그릇도 있어 귀하게 쓰는 것도 있고 천하게 쓰는 것도 있나니
20 Now ina great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver but also of wood and clay,some for honorable use, some for dishonorable.
21 그러므로 누구든지 이런 것에서 자기를 깨끗하게 하면 귀히 쓰는 그릇이 되어 거룩하고 주인의 쓰심에 합당하며 모든 선한 일에 준비함이 되리라
21 Therefore,if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable,he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house,ready for every good work.
22 또한 너는 청년의 정욕을 피하고 주를 깨끗한 마음으로 부르는 자들과 함께 의와 믿음과 사랑과 화평을 따르라
22 Sofleeyouthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along withthose who call on the Lordfrom a pure heart.
23 어리석고 무식한 변론을 버리라 이에서 다툼이 나는 줄 앎이라
23 Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorantcontroversies; you know that they breed quarrels.
24 주의 종은 마땅히 다투지 아니하고 모든 사람에 대하여 온유하며 가르치기를 잘하며 참으며
24 Andthe Lord's servantmust not be quarrelsome butkind to everyone,able to teach, patiently enduring evil,
25 거역하는 자를 온유함으로 훈계할지니 혹 하나님이 그들에게 회개함을 주사 진리를 알게 하실까 하며
25 correcting his opponentswith gentleness. Godmay perhaps grant them repentanceleading to a knowledge of the truth,
26 그들로 깨어 마귀의 올무에서 벗어나 하나님께 사로잡힌 바 되어 그 뜻을 따르게 하실까 함이라
26 and they may come to their senses and escape fromthe snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.
