46장
13 바벨론의 느부갓네살 왕이 와서 애굽 땅을 칠 일에 대하여 선지자 예레미야에게 이르신 여호와의 말씀이라
13 The word that theLordspoke to Jeremiah the prophet about the coming ofNebuchadnezzar king of Babylon to strike the land of Egypt:
14 너희는 애굽에 선포하며 믹돌과 놉과 다바네스에 선포하여 말하기를 너희는 굳건히 서서 준비하라 네 사방이 칼에 삼키웠느니라
14 Declare in Egypt, and proclaim inMigdol;proclaim inMemphis andTahpanhes;say,Stand ready and be prepared,forthe sword shall devour around you.
15 너희 장사들이 쓰러짐은 어찌함이냐 그들이 서지 못함은 여호와께서 그들을 몰아내신 까닭이니라
15 Why are your mighty ones face down?They do not standbecause theLordthrust them down.
16 그가 많은 사람을 넘어지게 하시매 사람이 사람 위에 엎드러지며 이르되 일어나라 우리가 포악한 칼을 피하여 우리 민족에게로, 우리 고향으로 돌아가자 하도다
16 He made many stumble,and they fell,and they said one to another,Arise, and let us go back to our own peopleand to the land of our birth,because of the sword of the oppressor.
17 그들이 그 곳에서 부르짖기를 애굽의 바로 왕이 망하였도다 그가 기회를 놓쳤도다
17 Call the name ofPharaoh, king of Egypt,Noisy one who lets the hour go by.
18 만군의 여호와라 일컫는 왕이 이르시되 나의 삶으로 맹세하노니 그가 과연 산들 중의 다볼 같이, 해변의 갈멜 같이 오리라
18 As I live, declares the King,whose name is theLordof hosts,likeTabor among the mountainsand likeCarmel by the sea, shall one come.
19 애굽에 사는 딸이여 너는 너를 위하여 포로의 짐을 꾸리라 놉이 황무하며 불에 타서 주민이 없을 것임이라
19 Prepare yourselves baggage for exile,Oinhabitants of Egypt!ForMemphis shall become a waste,a ruin,without inhabitant.
20 애굽은 심히 아름다운 암송아지일지라도 북으로부터 쇠파리 떼가 줄곧 오리라
20 A beautifulheifer is Egypt,but a biting flyfrom the north has come upon her.
21 또 그 중의 고용꾼은 살진 수송아지 같아서 돌이켜 함께 도망하고 서지 못하였나니 재난의 날이 이르렀고 벌 받는 때가 왔음이라
21 Even her hired soldiers in her midstare likefattened calves;yes, they have turned and fled together;they did not stand,for the day of their calamity has come upon them,the time of their punishment.
22 애굽의 소리가 뱀의 소리 같으리니 이는 그들의 군대가 벌목하는 자 같이 도끼를 가지고 올 것임이라
22 She makesa sound like a serpent gliding away;for her enemies march in forceand come against her with axeslike those who fell trees.
23 여호와의 말씀이니라 그들이 황충보다 많아서 셀 수 없으므로 조사할 수 없는 그의 수풀을 찍을 것이라
23 They shall cut down her forest,declares theLord,though it is impenetrable,becausethey are more numerous than locusts;they are without number.
24 딸 애굽이 수치를 당하여 북쪽 백성의 손에 붙임을 당하리로다
24 The daughter of Egypt shall be put to shame;she shall be delivered into the hand ofa people from the north.
25 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님께서 말씀하시니라 보라 내가 노의 아몬과 바로와 애굽과 애굽 신들과 왕들 곧 바로와 및 그를 의지하는 자들을 벌할 것이라
25 TheLordof hosts, the God of Israel, said:Behold, I am bringing punishment uponAmon ofThebes, and Pharaoh and Egyptand her gods and her kings, upon Pharaoh and those who trust in him.
26 내가 그들의 생명을 노리는 자의 손 곧 바벨론의 느부갓네살 왕의 손과 그 종들의 손에 넘기리라 그럴지라도 그 후에는 그 땅이 이전 같이 사람 살 곳이 되리라 여호와의 말씀이니라
26 I will deliver them into the hand of those who seek their life, into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and his officers.Afterward Egypt shall be inhabitedas in the days of old, declares theLord.
27 내 종 야곱아 두려워하지 말라 이스라엘아 놀라지 말라 보라 내가 너를 먼 곳에서 구원하며 네 자손을 포로된 땅에서 구원하리니 야곱이 돌아와서 평안하며 걱정 없이 살게 될 것이라 그를 두렵게 할 자 없으리라
27 But fear not, O Jacob my servant,nor be dismayed, O Israel,for behold, I will save you from far away,and your offspring from the land of their captivity.Jacob shall return and have quiet and ease,and none shall make him afraid.
28 여호와의 말씀이니라 내 종 야곱아 내가 너와 함께 있나니 두려워하지 말라 내가 너를 흩었던 그 나라들은 다 멸할지라도 너는 사라지지 아니하리라 내가 너를 법도대로 징계할 것이요 결코 무죄한 자로 여기지 아니하리라 하시니라
28 Fear not, O Jacob my servant,declares theLord,for I am with you.I will make a full end of all the nationsto which I have driven you,but of you I will not make a full end.I will discipline you in just measure,and I will by no means leave you unpunished.
47장
1 바로가 가사를 치기 전에 블레셋 사람에 대하여 선지자 예레미야에게 임한 여호와의 말씀이라
1 The word of theLordthat came to Jeremiah the prophetconcerning the Philistines, before Pharaoh struck downGaza.
2 여호와께서 이와 같이 말씀하시되 보라 물이 북쪽에서 일어나 물결치는 시내를 이루어 그 땅과 그 중에 있는 모든 것과 그 성읍과 거기에 사는 자들을 휩쓸리니 사람들이 부르짖으며 그 땅 모든 주민이 울부짖으리라
2 Thus says theLord:Behold, waters are risingout of the north,and shall become an overflowing torrent;they shall overflowthe land and all that fills it,the city and those who dwell in it.Men shall cry out,and every inhabitant of the land shall wail.
3 군마의 발굽 소리와 달리는 병거 바퀴가 진동하는 소리 때문에 아버지의 손맥이 풀려서 자기의 자녀를 돌보지 못하리니
3 At the noise of the stamping of the hoofs of his stallions,at the rushing of his chariots, at the rumbling of their wheels,the fatherslook not back to their children,so feeble are their hands,
4 이는 블레셋 사람을 유린하시며 두로와 시돈에 남아 있는 바 도와 줄 자를 다 끊어 버리시는 날이 올 것임이라 여호와께서 갑돌 섬에 남아 있는 블레셋 사람을 유린하시리라
4 because of the day that is coming to destroyallthe Philistines,to cut off fromTyre and Sidonevery helper that remains.For theLordis destroying the Philistines,the remnant of the coastland ofCaphtor.
5 가사는 대머리가 되었고 아스글론과 그들에게 남아 있는 평지가 잠잠하게 되었나니 네가 네 몸 베기를 어느 때까지 하겠느냐
5 Baldness has come upon Gaza;Ashkelon has perished.O remnant of their valley,how long will you gash yourselves?
6 오호라 여호와의 칼이여 네가 언제까지 쉬지 않겠느냐 네 칼집에 들어가서 가만히 쉴지어다
6 Ah, sword of theLord!How long till you are quiet?Put yourself into your scabbard;rest and be still!
7 여호와께서 이를 명령하셨은즉 어떻게 잠잠하며 쉬겠느냐 아스글론과 해변을 치려 하여 그가 정하셨느니라 하니라
7 How can itbe quietwhen theLordhas given it a charge?AgainstAshkelon and against the seashorehe has appointed it.디모데 후서
3장
1 너는 이것을 알라 말세에 고통하는 때가 이르러
1 But understand this, thatin the last days there will come times of difficulty.
2 사람들이 자기를 사랑하며 돈을 사랑하며 자랑하며 교만하며 비방하며 부모를 거역하며 감사하지 아니하며 거룩하지 아니하며
2 For people will belovers of self,lovers of money,proud,arrogant, abusive,disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3 무정하며 원통함을 풀지 아니하며 모함하며 절제하지 못하며 사나우며 선한 것을 좋아하지 아니하며
3 heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal,not loving good,
4 배신하며 조급하며 자만하며 쾌락을 사랑하기를 하나님 사랑하는 것보다 더하며
4 treacherous, reckless,swollen with conceit,lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5 경건의 모양은 있으나 경건의 능력은 부인하니 이같은 자들에게서 네가 돌아서라
5 having the appearance of godliness, butdenying its power.Avoid such people.
6 그들 중에 남의 집에 가만히 들어가 어리석은 여자를 유인하는 자들이 있으니 그 여자는 죄를 중히 지고 여러 가지 욕심에 끌린 바 되어
6 For among them arethose who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions,
7 항상 배우나 끝내 진리의 지식에 이를 수 없느니라
7 always learning and never able toarrive at a knowledge of the truth.
8 얀네와 얌브레가 모세를 대적한 것 같이 그들도 진리를 대적하니 이 사람들은 그 마음이 부패한 자요 믿음에 관하여는 버림 받은 자들이라
8 Just asJannes and Jambresopposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth,men corrupted in mind anddisqualified regarding the faith.
9 그러나 그들이 더 나아가지 못할 것은 저 두 사람이 된 것과 같이 그들의 어리석음이 드러날 것임이라
9 But they will not get very far, for their folly will be plain to all,as was that of those two men.
10 나의 교훈과 행실과 의향과 믿음과 오래 참음과 사랑과 인내와
10 You, however, have followed my teaching, my conduct, my aim in life, my faith, my patience, my love, my steadfastness,
11 박해를 받음과 고난과 또한 안디옥과 이고니온과 루스드라에서 당한 일과 어떠한 박해를 받은 것을 네가 과연 보고 알았거니와 주께서 이 모든 것 가운데서 나를 건지셨느니라
11 my persecutions and sufferings that happened to meat Antioch,at Iconium, andat Lystra&emdash;which persecutions I endured; yetfrom them allthe Lord rescued me.
12 무릇 그리스도 예수 안에서 경건하게 살고자 하는 자는 박해를 받으리라
12 Indeed, all who desire tolive a godly life in Christ Jesuswill be persecuted,
13 악한 사람들과 속이는 자들은 더욱 악하여져서 속이기도 하고 속기도 하나니
13 whileevil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving andbeing deceived.
14 그러나 너는 배우고 확신한 일에 거하라 너는 네가 누구에게서 배운 것을 알며
14 But as for you,continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whomyou learned it
15 또 어려서부터 성경을 알았나니 성경은 능히 너로 하여금 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 믿음으로 말미암아 구원에 이르는 지혜가 있게 하느니라
15 and howfrom childhood you have been acquainted withthe sacred writings,which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
16 모든 성경은 하나님의 감동으로 된 것으로 교훈과 책망과 바르게 함과 의로 교육하기에 유익하니
16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
17 이는 하나님의 사람으로 온전하게 하며 모든 선한 일을 행할 능력을 갖추게 하려 함이라
17 thatthe man of Godmay be complete,equippedfor every good work.
