28:17-30
17 사흘 후에 바울이 유대인 중 높은 사람들을 청하여 모인 후에 이르되 여러분 형제들아 내가 이스라엘 백성이나 우리 조상의 규모를 배척한 일이 없는데 예루살렘에서 로마인의 손에 죄수로 내어준바 되었으니
17 Three days later he called together the leaders of the Jews. When they had assembled, Paul said to them: "My brothers, although I have done nothing against our people or against the customs of our ancestors, I was arrested in Jerusalem and handed over to the Romans.
18 로마인은 나를 심문하여 죽일 죄목이 없으므로 놓으려 하였으나
18 They examined me and wanted to release me, because I was not guilty of any crime deserving death.
19 유대인들이 반대하기로 내가 마지못하여 가이사에게 호소함이요 내 민족을 송사하려는 것이 아니로라
19 But when the Jews objected, I was compelled to appeal to Caesar--not that I had any charge to bring against my own people.
20 이러하므로 너희를 보고 함께 이야기하려고 청하였노니 이스라엘의 소망을 인하여 내가 이 쇠사슬에 매인바 되었노라
20 For this reason I have asked to see you and talk with you. It is because of the hope of Israel that I am bound with this chain."
21 저희가 가로되 우리가 유대에서 네게 대한 편지도 받은 일이 없고 또 형제 중 누가 와서 네게 대하여 좋지 못한 것을 고하든지 이야기한 일도 없느니라
21 They replied, "We have not received any letters from Judea concerning you, and none of the brothers who have come from there has reported or said anything bad about you.
22 이에 우리가 너의 사상이 어떠한가 듣고자 하노니 이 파에 대하여는 어디서든지 반대를 받는줄 우리가 앎이라 하더라
22 But we want to hear what your views are, for we know that people everywhere are talking against this sect."
23 저희가 일자를 정하고 그의 우거하는 집에 많이 오니 바울이 아침부터 저녁까지 강론하여 하나님 나라를 증거하고 모세의 율법과 선지자의 말을 가지고 예수의 일로 권하더라
23 They arranged to meet Paul on a certain day, and came in even larger numbers to the place where he was staying. From morning till evening he explained and declared to them the kingdom of God and tried to convince them about Jesus from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets.
24 그 말을 믿는 사람도 있고 믿지 아니하는 사람도 있어
24 Some were convinced by what he said, but others would not believe.
25 서로 맞지 아니하여 흩어질 때에 바울이 한 말로 일러 가로되 성령이 선지자 이사야로 너희 조상들에게 말씀하신 것이 옳도다
25 They disagreed among themselves and began to leave after Paul had made this final statement: "The Holy Spirit spoke the truth to your forefathers when he said through Isaiah the prophet:
26 일렀으되 이 백성에게 가서 말하기를 너희가 듣기는 들어도 도무지 깨닫지 못하며 보기는 보아도 도무지 알지 못하는도다
26 `Go to this people and say, You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving."
27 이 백성들의 마음이 완악하여져서 그 귀로는 둔하게 듣고 그 눈을 감았으니 이는 눈으로 보고 귀로 듣고 마음으로 깨달아 돌아와 나의 고침을 받을까 함이라 하였으니
27 For this people`s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.`
28 그런즉 하나님의 이 구원을 이방인에게로 보내신줄 알라 저희는 또한 들으리라 하더라
28 Therefore I want you to know that God`s salvation has been sent to the Gentiles, and they will listen!

30 바울이 온 이태를 자기 셋집에 유하며 자기에게 오는 사람을 다 영접하고
30 For two whole years Paul stayed there in his own rented house and welcomed all who came to see him.
31 담대히 하나님 나라를 전파하며 주 예수 그리스도께 관한 것을 가르치되 금하는 사람이 없었더라
31 Boldly and without hindrance he preached the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ.시편 (Psalms)
411 빈약한 자를 권고하는 자가 복이 있음이여 재앙의 날에 여호와께서 저를 건지시리로다
1 Blessed is he who has regard for the weak; the LORD delivers him in times of trouble.
2 여호와께서 저를 보호하사 살게 하시리니 저가 세상에서 복을 받을 것이라 주여 저를 그 원수의 뜻에 맡기지 마소서
2 The LORD will protect him and preserve his life; he will bless him in the land and not surrender him to the desire of his foes.
3 여호와께서 쇠약한 병상에서 저를 붙드시고 저의 병중 그 자리를 다 고쳐 펴시나이다
3 The LORD will sustain him on his sickbed and restore him from his bed of illness.
4 내가 말하기를 여호와여 나를 긍휼히 여기소서 내가 주께 범죄하였사오니 내 영혼을 고치소서 하였나이다
4 I said, "O LORD, have mercy on me; heal me, for I have sinned against you."
5 나의 원수가 내게 대하여 악담하기를 저가 어느 때에나 죽고 그 이름이 언제나 멸망할꼬 하며
5 My enemies say of me in malice, "When will he die and his name perish?"
6 나를 보러 와서는 거짓을 말하고 그 중심에 간악을 쌓았다가 나가서는 이를 광포하오며
6 Whenever one comes to see me, he speaks falsely, while his heart gathers slander; then he goes out and spreads it abroad.
7 나를 미워하는 자가 다 내게 대하여 수군거리고 나를 해하려고 꾀하며
7 All my enemies whisper together against me; they imagine the worst for me, saying,
8 이르기를 악한 병이 저에게 들었으니 이제 저가 눕고 다시 일지 못하리라 하오며
8 A vile disease has beset him; he will never get up from the place where he lies.
9 나의 신뢰하는바 내 떡을 먹던 나의 가까운 친구도 나를 대적하여 그 발꿈치를 들었나이다
9 Even my close friend, whom I trusted, he who shared my bread, has lifted up his heel against me.
10 그러하오나 주 여호와여 나를 긍휼히 여기시고 일으키사 나로 저희에게 보복하게 하소서
10 But you, O LORD, have mercy on me; raise me up, that I may repay them.
11 나의 원수가 승리치 못하므로 주께서 나를 기뻐하시는 줄을 내가 아나이다
11 I know that you are pleased with me, for my enemy does not triumph over me.
12 주께서 나를 나의 완전한 중에 붙드시고 영영히 주의 앞에 세우시나이다
12 In my integrity you uphold me and set me in your presence forever.
13 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님을 영원부터 영원까지 찬송할찌로다 아멘 아멘
13 Praise be to the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Amen and Amen.
