로마서 (Romans)
1:18-2:29
18 하나님의 진노가 불의로 진리를 막는 사람들의 모든 경건치 않음과 불의에 대하여 하늘로 좇아 나타나나니
18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness,
19 이는 하나님을 알만한 것이 저희 속에 보임이라 하나님께서 이를 저희에게 보이셨느니라
19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.
20 창세로부터 그의 보이지 아니하는 것들 곧 그의 영원하신 능력과 신성이 그 만드신 만물에 분명히 보여 알게 되나니 그러므로 저희가 핑계치 못할찌니라
20 For since the creation of the world God`s invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
21 하나님을 알되 하나님으로 영화롭게도 아니하며 감사치도 아니하고 오히려 그 생각이 허망하여지며 미련한 마음이 어두워졌나니
21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
22 스스로 지혜 있다 하나 우준하게 되어
22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools
23 썩어지지 아니하는 하나님의 영광을 썩어질 사람과 금수와 버러지 형상의 우상으로 바꾸었느니라
23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.
24 그러므로 하나님께서 저희를 마음의 정욕대로 더러움에 내어 버려두사 저희 몸을 서로 욕되게 하셨으니
24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.
25 이는 저희가 하나님의 진리를 거짓 것으로 바꾸어 피조물을 조물주보다 더 경배하고 섬김이라 주는 곧 영원히 찬송할 이시로다 아멘
25 They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator--who is forever praised. Amen.
26 이를 인하여 하나님께서 저희를 부끄러운 욕심에 내어 버려 두셨으니 곧 저희 여인들도 순리대로 쓸 것을 바꾸어 역리로 쓰며
26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones.
27 이와 같이 남자들도 순리대로 여인 쓰기를 버리고 서로 향하여 음욕이 불 일듯 하매 남자가 남자로 더불어 부끄러운 일을 행하여 저희의 그릇됨에 상당한 보응을 그 자신에 받았느니라
27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
28 또한 저희가 마음에 하나님 두기를 싫어하매 하나님께서 저희를 그 상실한 마음대로 내어 버려두사 합당치 못한 일을 하게 하셨으니
28 Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done.
29 곧 모든 불의, 추악, 탐욕, 악의가 가득한 자요 시기, 살인, 분쟁, 사기, 악독이 가득한 자요 수군수군하는 자요
29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips,
30 비방하는 자요 하나님의 미워하시는 자요 능욕하는 자요 교만한 자요 자랑하는 자요 악을 도모하는 자요 부모를 거역하는 자요
30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents;
31 우매한 자요 배약하는 자요 무정한 자요 무자비한 자라
31 they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless.
32 저희가 이같은 일을 행하는 자는 사형에 해당하다고 하나님의 정하심을 알고도 자기들만 행할 뿐 아니라 또한 그 일을 행하는 자를 옳다 하느니라
32 Although they know God`s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.
2장
1 그러므로 남을 판단하는 사람아 무론 누구든지 네가 핑계치 못할 것은 남을 판단하는 것으로 네가 너를 정죄함이니 판단하는 네가 같은 일을 행함이니라
1 You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.
2 이런 일을 행하는 자에게 하나님의 판단이 진리대로 되는줄 우리가 아노라
2 Now we know that God`s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth.
3 이런 일을 행하는 자를 판단하고도 같은 일을 행하는 사람아 네가 하나님의 판단을 피할 줄로 생각하느냐
3 So when you, a mere man, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God`s judgment?
4 혹 네가 하나님의 인자하심이 너를 인도하여 회개케 하심을 알지 못하여 그의 인자하심과 용납하심과 길이 참으심의 풍성함을 멸시하느뇨
4 Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not realizing that God`s kindness leads you toward repentance?
5 다만 네 고집과 회개치 아니한 마음을 따라 진노의 날 곧 하나님의 의로우신 판단이 나타나는 그 날에 임할 진노를 네게 쌓는도다
5 But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God`s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed.
6 하나님께서 각 사람에게 그 행한대로 보응하시되
6 God "will give to each person according to what he has done."
7 참고 선을 행하여 영광과 존귀와 썩지 아니함을 구하는 자에게는 영생으로 하시고
7 To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.
8 오직 당을 지어 진리를 좇지 아니하고 불의를 좇는 자에게는 노와 분으로 하시리라
8 But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger.
9 악을 행하는 각 사람의 영에게 환난과 곤고가 있으리니 첫째는 유대인에게요 또한 헬라인에게며
9 There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile;
10 선을 행하는 각 사람에게는 영광과 존귀와 평강이 있으리니 첫째는 유대인에게요 또한 헬라인에게라
10 but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.
11 이는 하나님께서 외모로 사람을 취하지 아니하심이니라
11 For God does not show favoritism.
12 무릇 율법 없이 범죄한 자는 또한 율법 없이 망하고 무릇 율법이 있고 범죄한 자는 율법으로 말미암아 심판을 받으리라
12 All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law.
13 하나님 앞에서는 율법을 듣는 자가 의인이 아니요 오직 율법을 행하는 자라야 의롭다 하심을 얻으리니
13 For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God`s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous.
14 (율법 없는 이방인이 본성으로 율법의 일을 행할 때는 이 사람은 율법이 없어도 자기가 자기에게 율법이 되나니
14 (Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law,
15 이런 이들은 그 양심이 증거가 되어 그 생각들이 서로 혹은 송사하며 혹은 변명하여 그 마음에 새긴 율법의 행위를 나타내느니라)
15 since they show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them.)
16 곧 내 복음에 이른 바와 같이 하나님이 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 사람들의 은밀한 것을 심판하시는 그날이라
16 This will take place on the day when God will judge men`s secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares.
17 유대인이라 칭하는 네가 율법을 의지하며 하나님을 자랑하며
17 Now you, if you call yourself a Jew; if you rely on the law and brag about your relationship to God;
18 율법의 교훈을 받아 하나님의 뜻을 알고 지극히 선한 것을 좋게 여기며
18 if you know his will and approve of what is superior because you are instructed by the law;
19 네가 율법에 있는 지식과 진리의 규모를 가진 자로서 소경의 길을 인도하는 자요 어두움에 있는 자의 빛이요
19 if you are convinced that you are a guide for the blind, a light for those who are in the dark,
20 어리석은 자의 훈도요 어린 아이의 선생이라고 스스로 믿으니
20 an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of infants, because you have in the law the embodiment of knowledge and truth--
21 그러면 다른 사람을 가르치는 네가 네 자신을 가르치지 아니하느냐 도적질 말라 반포하는 네가 도적질 하느냐
21 you, then, who teach others, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal?
22 간음하지 말라 말하는 네가 간음하느냐 우상을 가증히 여기는 네가 신사 물건을 도적질 하느냐
22 You who say that people should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?
23 율법을 자랑하는 네가 율법을 범함으로 하나님을 욕되게 하느냐
23 You who brag about the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law?
24 기록된 바와 같이 하나님의 이름이 너희로 인하여 이방인 중에서 모독을 받는도다
24 As it is written: "God`s name is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you."
25 네가 율법을 행한즉 할례가 유익하나 만일 율법을 범한즉 네 할례가 무할례가 되었느니라
25 Circumcision has value if you observe the law, but if you break the law, you have become as though you had not been circumcised.
26 그런즉 무할례자가 율법의 제도를 지키면 그 무할례를 할례와 같이 여길것이 아니냐
26 If those who are not circumcised keep the law`s requirements, will they not be regarded as though they were circumcised?
27 또한 본래 무할례자가 율법을 온전히 지키면 의문과 할례를 가지고 율법을 범하는 너를 판단치 아니하겠느냐
27 The one who is not circumcised physically and yet obeys the law will condemn you who, even though you have the written code and circumcision, are a lawbreaker.
28 대저 표면적 유대인이 유대인이 아니요 표면적 육신의 할례가 할례가 아니라
28 A man is not a Jew if he is only one outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical.
29 오직 이면적 유대인이 유대인이며 할례는 마음에 할찌니 신령에 있고 의문에 있지 아니한 것이라 그 칭찬이 사람에게서가 아니요 다만 하나님에게서니라
29 No, a man is a Jew if he is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man`s praise is not from men, but from God.시편 (Psalms)
451 내 마음에서 좋은 말이 넘쳐 왕에 대하여 지은 것을 말하리니 내 혀는 필객의 붓과 같도다
1 My heart is stirred by a noble theme as I recite my verses for the king; my tongue is the pen of a skillful writer.
2 왕은 인생보다 아름다워 은혜를 입술에 머금으니 그러므로 하나님이 왕에게 영영히 복을 주시도다
2 You are the most excellent of men and your lips have been anointed with grace, since God has blessed you forever.
3 능한 자여 칼을 허리에 차고 왕의 영화와 위엄을 입으소서
3 Gird your sword upon your side, O mighty one; clothe yourself with splendor and majesty.
4 왕은 진리와 온유와 공의를 위하여 위엄있게 타고 승전하소서 왕의 오른손이 왕에게 두려운 일을 가르치리이다
4 In your majesty ride forth victoriously in behalf of truth, humility and righteousness; let your right hand display awesome deeds.
5 왕의 살이 날카로워 왕의 원수의 염통을 뚫으니 만민이 왕의 앞에 엎드러지는도다
5 Let your sharp arrows pierce the hearts of the king`s enemies; let the nations fall beneath your feet.
6 하나님이여 주의 보좌가 영영하며 주의 나라의 홀은 공평한 홀이니이다
6 Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.
7 왕이 정의를 사랑하고 악을 미워하시니 그러므로 하나님 곧 왕의 하나님이 즐거움의 기름으로 왕에게 부어 왕의 동류보다 승하게 하셨나이다
7 You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.
8 왕의 모든 옷은 몰약과 침향과 육계의 향기가 있으며 상아궁에서 나오는 현악은 왕을 즐겁게 하도다
8 All your robes are fragrant with myrrh and aloes and cassia; from palaces adorned with ivory the music of the strings makes you glad.
9 왕의 귀비 중에는 열왕의 딸이 있으며 왕후는 오빌의 금으로 꾸미고 왕의 우편에 서도다
9 Daughters of kings are among your honored women; at your right hand is the royal bride in gold of Ophir.
10 딸이여 듣고 생각하고 귀를 기울일찌어다 네 백성과 아비 집을 잊어버릴찌어다
10 Listen, O daughter, consider and give ear: Forget your people and your father`s house.
11 그러하면 왕이 너의 아름다움을 사모하실찌라 저는 너의 주시니 너는 저를 경배할찌어다
11 The king is enthralled by your beauty; honor him, for he is your lord.
12 두로의 딸이 예물을 드리고 백성 중 부한 자도 네 은혜를 구하리로다
12 The Daughter of Tyre will come with a gift, men of wealth will seek your favor.
13 왕의 딸이 궁중에서 모든 영화를 누리니 그 옷은 금으로 수 놓았도다
13 All glorious is the princess within her chamber ; her gown is interwoven with gold.
14 수 놓은 옷을 입은 저가 왕께로 인도함을 받으며 시종하는 동무 처녀들도 왕께로 이끌려 갈 것이라
14 In embroidered garments she is led to the king; her virgin companions follow her and are brought to you.
15 저희가 기쁨과 즐거움으로 인도함을 받고 왕궁에 들어가리로다
15 They are led in with joy and gladness; they enter the palace of the king.
16 왕의 아들들이 왕의 열조를 계승할 것이라 왕이 저희로 온 세계의 군왕을 삼으리로다
16 Your sons will take the place of your fathers; you will make them princes throughout the land.
17 내가 왕의 이름을 만세에 기억케 하리니 그러므로 만민이 왕을 영영히 찬송하리로다
17 I will perpetuate your memory through all generations; therefore the nations will praise you for ever and ever.
