사무엘상
2장
1 한나가 기도하여 이르되 내 마음이 여호와로 말미암아 즐거워하며 내 뿔이 여호와로 말미암아 높아졌으며 내 입이 내 원수들을 향하여 크게 열렸으니 이는 내가 주의 구원으로 말미암아 기뻐함이니이다
1 Then Hannah prayed and said: "My heart rejoices in the LORD; in the LORD my horn is lifted high. My mouth boasts over my enemies, for I delight in your deliverance.
2 여호와와 같이 거룩하신 이가 없으시니 이는 주 밖에 다른 이가 없고 우리 하나님 같은 반석도 없으심이니이다
2 There is no one holy like the LORD; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God.
3 심히 교만한 말을 다시 하지 말 것이며 오만한 말을 너희의 입에서 내지 말지어다 여호와는 지식의 하나님이시라 행동을 달아 보시느니라
3 Do not keep talking so proudly or let your mouth speak such arrogance, for the LORD is a God who knows, and by him deeds are weighed.
4 용사의 활은 꺾이고 넘어진 자는 힘으로 띠를 띠도다
4 The bows of the warriors are broken, but those who stumbled are armed with strength.
5 풍족하던 자들은 양식을 위하여 품을 팔고 주리던 자들은 다시 주리지 아니하도다 전에 임신하지 못하던 자는 일곱을 낳았고 많은 자녀를 둔 자는 쇠약하도다
5 Those who were full hire themselves out for food, but those who were hungry hunger no more. She who was barren has borne seven children, but she who has had many sons pines away.
6 여호와는 죽이기도 하시고 살리기도 하시며 스올에 내리게도 하시고 거기에서 올리기도 하시는도다
6 The LORD brings death and makes alive; he brings down to the grave and raises up.
7 여호와는 가난하게도 하시고 부하게도 하시며 낮추기도 하시고 높이기도 하시는도다
7 The LORD sends poverty and wealth; he humbles and he exalts.
8 가난한 자를 진토에서 일으키시며 빈궁한 자를 거름더미에서 올리사 귀족들과 함께 앉게 하시며 영광의 자리를 차지하게 하시는도다 땅의 기둥들은 여호와의 것이라 여호와께서 세계를 그것들 위에 세우셨도다
8 He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor. "For the foundations of the earth are the LORD`s; upon them he has set the world.
9 그가 그의 거룩한 자들의 발을 지키실 것이요 악인들을 흑암 중에서 잠잠하게 하시리니 힘으로는 이길 사람이 없음이로다
9 He will guard the feet of his saints, but the wicked will be silenced in darkness. "It is not by strength that one prevails;
10 여호와를 대적하는 자는 산산이 깨어질 것이라 하늘에서 우레로 그들을 치시리로다 여호와께서 땅 끝까지 심판을 내리시고 자기 왕에게 힘을 주시며 자기의 기름 부음을 받은 자의 뿔을 높이시리로다 하니라
10 those who oppose the LORD will be shattered. He will thunder against them from heaven; the LORD will judge the ends of the earth. "He will give strength to his king and exalt the horn of his anointed."
11 엘가나는 라마의 자기 집으로 돌아가고 그 아이는 제사장 엘리 앞에서 여호와를 섬기니라
11 Then Elkanah went home to Ramah, but the boy ministered before the LORD under Eli the priest.
12 엘리의 아들들은 행실이 나빠 여호와를 알지 못하더라
12 Eli`s sons were wicked men; they had no regard for the LORD.
13 그 제사장들이 백성에게 행하는 관습은 이러하니 곧 어떤 사람이 제사를 드리고 그 고기를 삶을 때에 제사장의 사환이 손에 세 살 갈고리를 가지고 와서
13 Now it was the practice of the priests with the people that whenever anyone offered a sacrifice and while the meat was being boiled, the servant of the priest would come with a three-pronged fork in his hand.
14 그것으로 냄비에나 솥에나 큰 솥에나 가마에 찔러 넣어 갈고리에 걸려 나오는 것은 제사장이 자기 것으로 가지되 실로에서 그 곳에 온 모든 이스라엘 사람에게 이같이 할 뿐 아니라
14 He would plunge it into the pan or kettle or caldron or pot, and the priest would take for himself whatever the fork brought up. This is how they treated all the Israelites who came to Shiloh.
15 기름을 태우기 전에도 제사장의 사환이 와서 제사 드리는 사람에게 이르기를 제사장에게 구워 드릴 고기를 내라 그가 네게 삶은 고기를 원하지 아니하고 날 것을 원하신다 하다가
15 But even before the fat was burned, the servant of the priest would come and say to the man who was sacrificing, "Give the priest some meat to roast; he won`t accept boiled meat from you, but only raw."
16 그 사람이 이르기를 반드시 먼저 기름을 태운 후에 네 마음에 원하는 대로 가지라 하면 그가 말하기를 아니라 지금 내게 내라 그렇지 아니하면 내가 억지로 빼앗으리라 하였으니
16 If the man said to him, "Let the fat be burned up first, and then take whatever you want," the servant would then answer, "No, hand it over now; if you don`t, I`ll take it by force."
17 이 소년들의 죄가 여호와 앞에 심히 큼은 그들이 여호와의 제사를 멸시함이었더라
17 This sin of the young men was very great in the LORD`s sight, for they were treating the LORD`s offering with contempt.
18 사무엘은 어렸을 때에 세마포 에봇을 입고 여호와 앞에서 섬겼더라
18 But Samuel was ministering before the LORD -a boy wearing a linen ephod.
19 그의 어머니가 매년 드리는 제사를 드리러 그의 남편과 함께 올라갈 때마다 작은 겉옷을 지어다가 그에게 주었더니
19 Each year his mother made him a little robe and took it to him when she went up with her husband to offer the annual sacrifice.
20 엘리가 엘가나와 그의 아내에게 축복하여 이르되 여호와께서 이 여인으로 말미암아 네게 다른 후사를 주사 이가 여호와께 간구하여 얻어 바친 아들을 대신하게 하시기를 원하노라 하였더니 그들이 자기 집으로 돌아가매
20 Eli would bless Elkanah and his wife, saying, "May the LORD give you children by this woman to take the place of the one she prayed for and gave to the LORD." Then they would go home.
21 여호와께서 한나를 돌보시사 그로 하여금 임신하여 세 아들과 두 딸을 낳게 하셨고 아이 사무엘은 여호와 앞에서 자라니라
21 And the LORD was gracious to Hannah; she conceived and gave birth to three sons and two daughters. Meanwhile, the boy Samuel grew up in the presence of the LORD.
22 엘리가 매우 늙었더니 그의 아들들이 온 이스라엘에게 행한 모든 일과 회막 문에서 수종 드는 여인들과 동침하였음을 듣고
22 Now Eli, who was very old, heard about everything his sons were doing to all Israel and how they slept with the women who served at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
23 그들에게 이르되 너희가 어찌하여 이런 일을 하느냐 내가 너희의 악행을 이 모든 백성에게서 듣노라
23 So he said to them, "Why do you do such things? I hear from all the people about these wicked deeds of yours.
24 내 아들들아 그리하지 말라 내게 들리는 소문이 좋지 아니하니라 너희가 여호와의 백성으로 범죄하게 하는도다
24 No, my sons; it is not a good report that I hear spreading among the LORD`s people.
25 사람이 사람에게 범죄하면 하나님이 심판하시려니와 만일 사람이 여호와께 범죄하면 누가 그를 위하여 간구하겠느냐 하되 그들이 자기 아버지의 말을 듣지 아니하였으니 이는 여호와께서 그들을 죽이기로 뜻하셨음이더라
25 If a man sins against another man, God may mediate for him; but if a man sins against the LORD, who will intercede for him?" His sons, however, did not listen to their father`s rebuke, for it was the LORD`s will to put them to death.
26 아이 사무엘이 점점 자라매 여호와와 사람들에게 은총을 더욱 받더라
26 And the boy Samuel continued to grow in stature and in favor with the LORD and with men.요한복음
5장
19 그러므로 예수께서 그들에게 이르시되 내가 진실로 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 아들이 아버지께서 하시는 일을 보지 않고는 아무 것도 스스로 할 수 없나니 아버지께서 행하시는 그것을 아들도 그와 같이 행하느니라
19 Jesus gave them this answer: "I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.
20 아버지께서 아들을 사랑하사 자기가 행하시는 것을 다 아들에게 보이시고 또 그보다 더 큰 일을 보이사 너희로 놀랍게 여기게 하시리라
20 For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, to your amazement he will show him even greater things than these.
21 아버지께서 죽은 자들을 일으켜 살리심 같이 아들도 자기가 원하는 자들을 살리느니라
21 For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom he is pleased to give it.
22 아버지께서 아무도 심판하지 아니하시고 심판을 다 아들에게 맡기셨으니
22 Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son,
23 이는 모든 사람으로 아버지를 공경하는 것 같이 아들을 공경하게 하려 하심이라 아들을 공경하지 아니하는 자는 그를 보내신 아버지도 공경하지 아니하느니라
23 that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him.
24 내가 진실로 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 내 말을 듣고 또 나 보내신 이를 믿는 자는 영생을 얻었고 심판에 이르지 아니하나니 사망에서 생명으로 옮겼느니라
24 I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.
25 진실로 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 죽은 자들이 하나님의 아들의 음성을 들을 때가 오나니 곧 이 때라 듣는 자는 살아나리라
25 I tell you the truth, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live.
26 아버지께서 자기 속에 생명이 있음 같이 아들에게도 생명을 주어 그 속에 있게 하셨고
26 For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son to have life in himself.
27 또 인자됨으로 말미암아 심판하는 권한을 주셨느니라
27 And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man.
28 이를 놀랍게 여기지 말라 무덤 속에 있는 자가 다 그의 음성을 들을 때가 오나니
28 Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice
29 선한 일을 행한 자는 생명의 부활로, 악한 일을 행한 자는 심판의 부활로 나오리라
29 and come out--those who have done good will rise to live, and those who have done evil will rise to be condemned.
