에스겔
14장
13 인자야 가령 어떤 나라가 불법을 행하여 내게 범죄하므로 내가 손을 그 위에 펴서 그 의지하는 양식을 끊어 기근을 내려 사람과 짐승을 그 나라에서 끊는다 하자
13 Son of man, when a land sins against meby acting faithlessly, and I stretch out my hand against it andbreak its supplyof bread and send famine upon it, andcut off from it man and beast,
14 비록 노아, 다니엘, 욥, 이 세 사람이 거기에 있을지라도 그들은 자기의 공의로 자기의 생명만 건지리라 나 주 여호와의 말이니라
14 even if these three men,Noah,Daniel, andJob, were in it,they would deliver but their own lives by their righteousness, declares the LordGod.
15 가령 내가 사나운 짐승을 그 땅에 다니게 하여 그 땅을 황폐하게 하여 사람이 그 짐승 때문에 능히 다니지 못하게 한다 하자
15 If I cause wild beasts to pass through the land, and they ravage it,and it be made desolate, so that no one may pass through because of the beasts,
16 비록 이 세 사람이 거기에 있을지라도 나의 삶을 두고 맹세하노니 그들도 자녀는 건지지 못하고 자기만 건지겠고 그 땅은 황폐하리라 주 여호와의 말씀이니라
16 even if these three men were in it,as I live, declares the LordGod, they would deliver neither sons nor daughters. They alone would be delivered, butthe land would be desolate.
17 가령 내가 칼이 그 땅에 임하게 하고 명령하기를 칼아 그 땅에 돌아다니라 하고 내가 사람과 짐승을 거기에서 끊는다 하자
17 Orif I bring a sword upon that land and say, Let a sword pass through the land,and I cut off from it man and beast,
18 비록 이 세 사람이 거기에 있을지라도 나의 삶을 두고 맹세하노니 그들도 자녀는 건지지 못하고 자기만 건지리라 나 주 여호와의 말이니라
18 though these three men were in it, as I live, declares the LordGod, they would deliver neither sons nor daughters, but they alone would be delivered.
19 가령 내가 그 땅에 전염병을 내려 죽임으로 내 분노를 그 위에 쏟아 사람과 짐승을 거기에서 끊는다 하자
19 Orif I send a pestilence into that land and pour out my wrath upon it with blood, to cut off from it man and beast,
20 비록 노아, 다니엘, 욥이 거기에 있을지라도 나의 삶을 두고 맹세하노니 그들도 자녀는 건지지 못하고 자기의 공의로 자기의 생명만 건지리라 주 여호와의 말씀이니라
20 even if Noah, Daniel, and Job were in it, as I live, declares the LordGod, they would deliver neither son nor daughter. They would deliver but their own lives by their righteousness.
21 주 여호와께서 이같이 이르시되 내가 나의 네 가지 중한 벌 곧 칼과 기근과 사나운 짐승과 전염병을 예루살렘에 함께 내려 사람과 짐승을 그 중에서 끊으리니 그 해가 더욱 심하지 아니하겠느냐
21 For thus says the LordGod: How much morewhen I send upon Jerusalem my four disastrous acts of judgment,sword,famine,wild beasts, andpestilence, to cut off from it man and beast!
22 그러나 그 가운데에 피하는 자가 남아 있어 끌려 나오리니 곧 자녀들이라 그들이 너희에게로 나아오리니 너희가 그 행동과 소행을 보면 내가 예루살렘에 내린 재앙 곧 그 내린 모든 일에 대하여 너희가 위로를 받을 것이라
22 But behold,some survivors will be left in it, sons and daughters who will be brought out; behold, when they come out to you, andyou see their ways and their deeds, you will be consoled for the disaster that I have brought upon Jerusalem, for all that I have brought upon it.
23 너희가 그 행동과 소행을 볼 때에 그들에 의해 위로를 받고 내가 예루살렘에서 행한 모든 일이 이유 없이 한 것이 아닌 줄을 알리라 주 여호와의 말씀이니라
23 They will console you, when you see their ways and their deeds, and you shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, declares the LordGod.
15장
1 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르시되
1 And the word of theLordcame to me:
2 인자야 포도나무가 모든 나무보다 나은 것이 무엇이랴 숲속의 여러 나무 가운데에 있는 그 포도나무 가지가 나은 것이 무엇이랴
2 Son of man, how doesthe wood of the vine surpass any wood, the vine branch that is among the trees of the forest?
3 그 나무를 가지고 무엇을 제조할 수 있겠느냐 그것으로 무슨 그릇을 걸 못을 만들 수 있겠느냐
3 Is wood taken from it to make anything? Do people takea peg from it to hang any vessel on it?
4 불에 던질 땔감이 될 뿐이라 불이 그 두 끝을 사르고 그 가운데도 태웠으면 제조에 무슨 소용이 있겠느냐
4 Behold, it is given to the fire for fuel. When the fire has consumed both ends of it, and the middle of it is charred, is it useful for anything?
5 그것이 온전할 때에도 아무 제조에 합당하지 아니하였거든 하물며 불에 살라지고 탄 후에 어찌 제조에 합당하겠느냐
5 Behold, when it was whole, it was used for nothing. How much less, when the fire has consumed it and it is charred, can it ever be used for anything!
6 그러므로 주 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하셨느니라 내가 수풀 가운데에 있는 포도나무를 불에 던질 땔감이 되게 한 것 같이 내가 예루살렘 주민도 그같이 할지라
6 Therefore thus says the LordGod:Like the wood of the vine among the trees of the forest,which I have given to the fire for fuel, so have I given up the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
7 내가 그들을 대적한즉 그들이 그 불에서 나와도 불이 그들을 사르리니 내가 그들을 대적할 때에 내가 여호와인 줄 너희가 알리라
7 And I will set my face against them. Thoughthey escape from the fire, the fire shall yet consume them,and you will know that I am theLord,when I set my face against them.
8 내가 그 땅을 황폐하게 하리니 이는 그들이 범법함이니라 나 주 여호와의 말이니라 하시니라
8 And I will make the land desolate, becausethey have acted faithlessly, declares the LordGod.
16장
1 또 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르시되
1 Again the word of theLordcame to me:
2 인자야 예루살렘으로 그 가증한 일을 알게 하여
2 Son of man,make known to Jerusalem her abominations,
3 이르기를 주 여호와께서 예루살렘에 관하여 이같이 말씀하시되 네 근본과 난 땅은 가나안이요 네 아버지는 아모리 사람이요 네 어머니는 헷 사람이라
3 and say, Thus says the LordGodto Jerusalem: Your origin and your birth are of the land of the Canaanites; your father was anAmorite and your mother aHittite.
4 네가 난 것을 말하건대 네가 날 때에 네 배꼽 줄을 자르지 아니하였고 너를 물로 씻어 정결하게 하지 아니하였고 네게 소금을 뿌리지 아니하였고 너를 강보로 싸지도 아니하였나니
4 And as for your birth,on the day you were born your cord was not cut, nor were you washed with water to cleanse you, nor rubbed with salt, nor wrapped in swaddling cloths.
5 아무도 너를 돌보아 이 중에 한 가지라도 네게 행하여 너를 불쌍히 여긴 자가 없었으므로 네가 나던 날에 네 몸이 천하게 여겨져 네가 들에 버려졌느니라
5 No eye pitied you, to do any of these things to you out of compassion for you,but you were cast out on the open field, for you were abhorred,on the day that you were born.
6 내가 네 곁으로 지나갈 때에 네가 피투성이가 되어 발짓하는 것을 보고 네게 이르기를 너는 피투성이라도 살아 있으라 다시 이르기를 너는 피투성이라도 살아 있으라 하고
6 And when I passed by you and saw you wallowingin your blood, I said to youin your blood,Live!I said to youin your blood,Live!
7 내가 너를 들의 풀 같이 많게 하였더니 네가 크게 자라고 심히 아름다우며 유방이 뚜렷하고 네 머리털이 자랐으나 네가 여전히 벌거벗은 알몸이더라
7 I made you flourish like a plant of the field. And you grew up and became talland arrived at full adornment. Your breasts were formed, and your hair had grown; yetyou were naked and bare.히브리서
7장
15 멜기세덱과 같은 별다른 한 제사장이 일어난 것을 보니 더욱 분명하도다
15 This becomes even more evident when another priest arises in the likeness of Melchizedek,
16 그는 육신에 속한 한 계명의 법을 따르지 아니하고 오직 불멸의 생명의 능력을 따라 되었으니
16 who has become a priest, not on the basis of a legal requirement concerning bodily descent, but by the power of an indestructible life.
17 증언하기를 네가 영원히 멜기세덱의 반차를 따르는 제사장이라 하였도다
17 For it is witnessed of him,You are a priest forever,after the order of Melchizedek.
18 전에 있던 계명은 연약하고 무익하므로 폐하고
18 For on the one hand, a former commandment is set asidebecause of its weakness and uselessness
19 (율법은 아무 것도 온전하게 못할지라) 이에 더 좋은 소망이 생기니 이것으로 우리가 하나님께 가까이 가느니라
19 (forthe law made nothing perfect); but on the other hand,a better hope is introduced, through whichwe draw near to God.
