에스겔
18장
23 주 여호와의 말씀이니라 내가 어찌 악인이 죽는 것을 조금인들 기뻐하랴 그가 돌이켜 그 길에서 떠나 사는 것을 어찌 기뻐하지 아니하겠느냐
23 Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked, declares the LordGod, and not rather that he should turn from his way and live?
24 만일 의인이 돌이켜 그 공의에서 떠나 범죄하고 악인이 행하는 모든 가증한 일대로 행하면 살겠느냐 그가 행한 공의로운 일은 하나도 기억함이 되지 아니하리니 그가 그 범한 허물과 그 지은 죄로 죽으리라
24 But when a righteous person turns away from his righteousness and does injustice and does the same abominations that the wicked person does, shall he live?None of the righteous deeds that he has done shall be remembered; forthe treachery of which he is guilty and the sin he has committed, for them he shall die.
25 그런데 너희는 이르기를 주의 길이 공평하지 아니하다 하는도다 이스라엘 족속아 들을지어다 내 길이 어찌 공평하지 아니하냐 너희 길이 공평하지 아니한 것이 아니냐
25 Yet you say,The way of the Lord is not just.Hear now, O house of Israel: Is my way not just? Is it not your ways that are not just?
26 만일 의인이 그 공의를 떠나 죄악을 행하고 그로 말미암아 죽으면 그 행한 죄악으로 말미암아 죽는 것이요
26 When a righteous person turns away from his righteousness and does injustice, he shall die for it; for the injustice that he has done he shall die.
27 만일 악인이 그 행한 악을 떠나 정의와 공의를 행하면 그 영혼을 보전하리라
27 Again,when a wicked person turns away from the wickedness he has committed and does what is just and right, he shall save his life.
28 그가 스스로 헤아리고 그 행한 모든 죄악에서 돌이켜 떠났으니 반드시 살고 죽지 아니하리라
28 Because he considered and turned away from all the transgressions that he had committed, he shall surely live; he shall not die.
29 그런데 이스라엘 족속은 이르기를 주의 길이 공평하지 아니하다 하는도다 이스라엘 족속아 나의 길이 어찌 공평하지 아니하냐 너희 길이 공평하지 아니한 것 아니냐
29 Yet the house of Israel says,The way of the Lord is not just.O house of Israel, are my ways not just? Is it not your ways that are not just?
30 주 여호와의 말씀이니라 이스라엘 족속아 내가 너희 각 사람이 행한 대로 심판할지라 너희는 돌이켜 회개하고 모든 죄에서 떠날지어다 그리한즉 그것이 너희에게 죄악의 걸림돌이 되지 아니하리라
30 ThereforeI will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, declares the LordGod.Repent and turn from all your transgressions,lest iniquity be your ruin.
31 너희는 너희가 범한 모든 죄악을 버리고 마음과 영을 새롭게 할지어다 이스라엘 족속아 너희가 어찌하여 죽고자 하느냐
31 Cast away from you all the transgressions that you have committed, andmake yourselves a new heart and a new spirit!Why will you die, O house of Israel?
32 주 여호와의 말씀이니라 죽을 자가 죽는 것도 내가 기뻐하지 아니하노니 너희는 스스로 돌이키고 살지니라
32 For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the LordGod;so turn, and live.
19장
1 너는 이스라엘 고관들을 위하여 애가를 지어
1 And you,take up a lamentation for the princes of Israel,
2 부르라 네 어머니는 무엇이냐 암사자라 그가 사자들 가운데에 엎드려 젊은 사자 중에서 그 새끼를 기르는데
2 and say:What was your mother?A lioness!Among lions she crouched;in the midst of young lionsshe reared her cubs.
3 그 새끼 하나를 키우매 젊은 사자가 되어 먹이 물어뜯기를 배워 사람을 삼키매
3 And she brought up one of her cubs;he became a young lion,and he learned to catch prey;he devoured men.
4 이방이 듣고 함정으로 그를 잡아 갈고리로 꿰어 끌고 애굽 땅으로 간지라
4 The nations heard about him;he was caught in their pit,and they brought him with hooksto the land of Egypt.
5 암사자가 기다리다가 소망이 끊어진 줄을 알고 그 새끼 하나를 또 골라 젊은 사자로 키웠더니
5 When she saw that she waited in vain,that her hope was lost,she took another of her cubsand made him a young lion.
6 젊은 사자가 되매 여러 사자 가운데에 왕래하며 먹이 물어뜯기를 배워 사람을 삼키며
6 He prowled among the lions;he became a young lion,and he learned to catch prey;he devoured men,
7 그의 궁궐들을 헐고 성읍들을 부수니 그 우는 소리로 말미암아 땅과 그 안에 가득한 것이 황폐한지라
7 and seizedtheir widows.He laid waste their cities,and the land was appalled and all who were in itat the sound of his roaring.
8 이방이 포위하고 있는 지방에서 그를 치러 와서 그의 위에 그물을 치고 함정에 잡아
8 Then the nations set against himfrom provinces on every side;they spread their net over him;he was taken in their pit.
9 우리에 넣고 갈고리를 꿰어 끌고 바벨론 왕에게 이르렀나니 그를 옥에 가두어 그 소리가 다시 이스라엘 산에 들리지 아니하게 하려 함이라
9 With hooksthey put him in a cageandbrought him to the king of Babylon;they brought him into custody,that his voice should no more be heardonthe mountains of Israel.
10 네 피의 어머니는 물 가에 심겨진 포도나무 같아서 물이 많으므로 열매가 많고 가지가 무성하며
10 Your mother waslike a vine in a vineyardplanted by the water,fruitful and full of branchesby reason of abundant water.
11 그 가지들은 강하여 권세 잡은 자의 규가 될 만한데 그 하나의 키가 굵은 가지 가운데에서 높았으며 많은 가지 가운데에서 뛰어나 보이다가
11 Its strong stems becamerulers' scepters;it towered aloftamong the thick boughs;it was seen in its heightwith the mass of its branches.
12 분노 중에 뽑혀서 땅에 던짐을 당하매 그 열매는 동풍에 마르고 그 강한 가지들은 꺾이고 말라 불에 탔더니
12 But the vine was plucked up in fury,cast down to the ground;the east wind dried up its fruit;they were stripped off and withered.As for its strong stem,fire consumed it.
13 이제는 광야, 메마르고 가물이 든 땅에 심어진 바 되고
13 Now it is planted in the wilderness,in a dry and thirsty land.
14 불이 그 가지 중 하나에서부터 나와 그 열매를 태우니 권세 잡은 자의 규가 될 만한 강한 가지가 없도다 하라 이것이 애가라 후에도 애가가 되리라
14 And fire has gone out from the stem of its shoots,has consumed its fruit,so that there remains in it no strong stem,no scepter for ruling.This isa lamentation and has become a lamentation.히브리서
9장
6 이 모든 것을 이같이 예비하였으니 제사장들이 항상 첫 장막에 들어가 섬기는 예식을 행하고
6 These preparations having thus been made,the priests go regularly into the first section, performing their ritual duties,
7 오직 둘째 장막은 대제사장이 홀로 일 년에 한 번 들어가되 자기와 백성의 허물을 위하여 드리는 피 없이는 아니하나니
7 but into the second onlythe high priest goes, and he butonce a year, and not without taking blood,which he offers for himself and for the unintentional sins of the people.
8 성령이 이로써 보이신 것은 첫 장막이 서 있을 동안에는 성소에 들어가는 길이 아직 나타나지 아니한 것이라
8 By this the Holy Spirit indicates thatthe way into the holy places is not yet opened as long as the first section is still standing
9 이 장막은 현재까지의 비유니 이에 따라 드리는 예물과 제사는 섬기는 자를 그 양심상 온전하게 할 수 없나니
9 (which is symbolic for the present age).According to this arrangement, gifts and sacrifices are offeredthat cannot perfect the conscience of the worshiper,
10 이런 것은 먹고 마시는 것과 여러 가지 씻는 것과 함께 육체의 예법일 뿐이며 개혁할 때까지 맡겨 둔 것이니라
10 but deal only withfood and drink andvarious washings, regulations for the body imposed until the time of reformation.
