고린도후서 (2 Corinthians)
5:11-7:4
11 우리는 주의 두려우심을 알므로 사람들을 권면하거니와 우리가 하나님 앞에 알리어졌으니 또 너희의 양심에도 알리어지기를 바라노라
11 Since, then, we know what it is to fear the Lord, we try to persuade men. What we are is plain to God, and I hope it is also plain to your conscience.
12 우리가 다시 너희에게 자천하는 것이 아니요 오직 우리로 말미암아 자랑할 기회를 너희에게 주어 마음으로 하지 않고 외모로 자랑하는 자들에게 대답하게 하려 하는 것이라
12 We are not trying to commend ourselves to you again, but are giving you an opportunity to take pride in us, so that you can answer those who take pride in what is seen rather than in what is in the heart.
13 우리가 만일 미쳤어도 하나님을 위한 것이요 정신이 온전하여도 너희를 위한 것이니
13 If we are out of our mind, it is for the sake of God; if we are in our right mind, it is for you.
14 그리스도의 사랑이 우리를 강권하시는도다 우리가 생각하건대 한 사람이 모든 사람을 대신하여 죽었은즉 모든 사람이 죽은 것이라
14 For Christ`s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died.
15 그가 모든 사람을 대신하여 죽으심은 살아 있는 자들로 하여금 다시는 그들 자신을 위하여 살지 않고 오직 그들을 대신하여 죽었다가 다시 살아나신 이를 위하여 살게 하려 함이라
15 And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.
16 그러므로 우리가 이제부터는 어떤 사람도 육신을 따라 알지 아니하노라 비록 우리가 그리스도도 육신을 따라 알았으나 이제부터는 그같이 알지 아니하노라
16 So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer.
17 그런즉 누구든지 그리스도 안에 있으면 새로운 피조물이라 이전 것은 지나갔으니 보라 새 것이 되었도다
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
18 모든 것이 하나님께로서 났으며 그가 그리스도로 말미암아 우리를 자기와 화목하게 하시고 또 우리에게 화목하게 하는 직분을 주셨으니
18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:
19 곧 하나님께서 그리스도 안에 계시사 세상을 자기와 화목하게 하시며 그들의 죄를 그들에게 돌리지 아니하시고 화목하게 하는 말씀을 우리에게 부탁하셨느니라
19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men`s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.
20 그러므로 우리가 그리스도를 대신하여 사신이 되어 하나님이 우리를 통하여 너희를 권면하시는 것 같이 그리스도를 대신하여 간청하노니 너희는 하나님과 화목하라
20 We are therefore Christ`s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ`s behalf: Be reconciled to God.
21 하나님이 죄를 알지도 못하신 이를 우리를 대신하여 죄로 삼으신 것은 우리로 하여금 그 안에서 하나님의 의가 되게 하려 하심이라
21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
6장
1 우리가 하나님과 함께 일하는 자로서 너희를 권하노니 하나님의 은혜를 헛되이 받지 말라
1 As God`s fellow workers we urge you not to receive God`s grace in vain.
2 이르시되 내가 은혜 베풀 때에 너에게 듣고 구원의 날에 너를 도왔다 하셨으니 보라 지금은 은혜 받을 만한 때요 보라 지금은 구원의 날이로다
2 For he says, "In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you." I tell you, now is the time of God`s favor, now is the day of salvation.
3 우리가 이 직분이 비방을 받지 않게 하려고 무엇에든지 아무에게도 거리끼지 않게 하고
3 We put no stumbling block in anyone`s path, so that our ministry will not be discredited.
4 오직 모든 일에 하나님의 일꾼으로 자천하여 많이 견디는 것과 환난과 궁핍과 고난과
4 Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses;
5 매 맞음과 갇힘과 난동과 수고로움과 자지 못함과 먹지 못함 가운데서도
5 in beatings, imprisonments and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger;
6 깨끗함과 지식과 오래 참음과 자비함과 성령의 감화와 거짓이 없는 사랑과
6 in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love;
7 진리의 말씀과 하나님의 능력으로 의의 무기를 좌우에 가지고
7 in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left;
8 영광과 욕됨으로 그러했으며 악한 이름과 아름다운 이름으로 그러했느니라 우리는 속이는 자 같으나 참되고
8 through glory and dishonor, bad report and good report; genuine, yet regarded as impostors;
9 무명한 자 같으나 유명한 자요 죽은 자 같으나 보라 우리가 살아 있고 징계를 받는 자 같으나 죽임을 당하지 아니하고
9 known, yet regarded as unknown; dying, and yet we live on; beaten, and yet not killed;
10 근심하는 자 같으나 항상 기뻐하고 가난한 자 같으나 많은 사람을 부요하게 하고 아무 것도 없는 자 같으나 모든 것을 가진 자로다
10 sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything.
11 고린도인들이여 너희를 향하여 우리의 입이 열리고 우리의 마음이 넓어졌으니
11 We have spoken freely to you, Corinthians, and opened wide our hearts to you.
12 너희가 우리 안에서 좁아진 것이 아니라 오직 너희 심정에서 좁아진 것이니라
12 We are not withholding our affection from you, but you are withholding yours from us.
13 내가 자녀에게 말하듯 하노니 보답하는 것으로 너희도 마음을 넓히라
13 As a fair exchange--I speak as to my children--open wide your hearts also.
14 너희는 믿지 않는 자와 멍에를 함께 메지 말라 의와 불법이 어찌 함께 하며 빛과 어둠이 어찌 사귀며
14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
15 그리스도와 벨리알이 어찌 조화되며 믿는 자와 믿지 않는 자가 어찌 상관하며
15 What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?
16 하나님의 성전과 우상이 어찌 일치가 되리요 우리는 살아 계신 하나님의 성전이라 이와 같이 하나님께서 이르시되 내가 그들 가운데 거하며 두루 행하여 나는 그들의 하나님이 되고 그들은 나의 백성이 되리라
16 What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people."
17 그러므로 너희는 그들 중에서 나와서 따로 있고 부정한 것을 만지지 말라 내가 너희를 영접하여
17 Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.
18 너희에게 아버지가 되고 너희는 내게 자녀가 되리라 전능하신 주의 말씀이니라 하셨느니라
18 I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.
7장
1 그런즉 사랑하는 자들아 이 약속을 가진 우리는 하나님을 두려워하는 가운데서 거룩함을 온전히 이루어 육과 영의 온갖 더러운 것에서 자신을 깨끗하게 하자
1 Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.
2 마음으로 우리를 영접하라 우리는 아무에게도 불의를 행하지 않고 아무에게도 해롭게 하지 않고 아무에게서도 속여 빼앗은 일이 없노라
2 Make room for us in your hearts. We have wronged no one, we have corrupted no one, we have exploited no one.
3 내가 이 말을 하는 것은 너희를 정죄하려고 하는 것이 아니라 내가 이전에 말하였거니와 너희가 우리 마음에 있어 함께 죽고 함께 살게 하고자 함이라
3 I do not say this to condemn you; I have said before that you have such a place in our hearts that we would live or die with you.
4 나는 너희를 향하여 담대한 것도 많고 너희를 위하여 자랑하는 것도 많으니 내가 우리의 모든 환난 가운데서도 위로가 가득하고 기쁨이 넘치는도다
4 I have great confidence in you; I take great pride in you. I am greatly encouraged; in all our troubles my joy knows no bounds.시편 (Psalms)
72
1 하나님이여 주의 판단력을 왕에게 주시고 주의 공의를 왕의 아들에게 주소서
1 Endow the king with your justice, O God, the royal son with your righteousness.
2 그가 주의 백성을 공의로 재판하며 주의 가난한 자를 정의로 재판하리니
2 He will judge your people in righteousness, your afflicted ones with justice.
3 의로 말미암아 산들이 백성에게 평강을 주며 작은 산들도 그리하리로다
3 The mountains will bring prosperity to the people, the hills the fruit of righteousness.
4 그가 가난한 백성의 억울함을 풀어 주며 궁핍한 자의 자손을 구원하며 압박하는 자를 꺾으리로다
4 He will defend the afflicted among the people and save the children of the needy; he will crush the oppressor.
5 그들이 해가 있을 동안에도 주를 두려워하며 달이 있을 동안에도 대대로 그리하리로다
5 He will endure as long as the sun, as long as the moon, through all generations.
6 그는 벤 풀 위에 내리는 비 같이, 땅을 적시는 소낙비 같이 내리리니
6 He will be like rain falling on a mown field, like showers watering the earth.
7 그의 날에 의인이 흥왕하여 평강의 풍성함이 달이 다할 때까지 이르리로다
7 In his days the righteous will flourish; prosperity will abound till the moon is no more.
8 그가 바다에서부터 바다까지와 강에서부터 땅 끝까지 다스리리니
8 He will rule from sea to sea and from the River to the ends of the earth.
9 광야에 사는 자는 그 앞에 굽히며 그의 원수들은 티끌을 핥을 것이며
9 The desert tribes will bow before him and his enemies will lick the dust.
10 다시스와 섬의 왕들이 조공을 바치며 스바와 시바 왕들이 예물을 드리리로다
10 The kings of Tarshish and of distant shores will bring tribute to him; the kings of Sheba and Seba will present him gifts.
11 모든 왕이 그의 앞에 부복하며 모든 민족이 다 그를 섬기리로다
11 All kings will bow down to him and all nations will serve him.
12 그는 궁핍한 자가 부르짖을 때에 건지며 도움이 없는 가난한 자도 건지며
12 For he will deliver the needy who cry out, the afflicted who have no one to help.
13 그는 가난한 자와 궁핍한 자를 불쌍히 여기며 궁핍한 자의 생명을 구원하며
13 He will take pity on the weak and the needy and save the needy from death.
14 그들의 생명을 압박과 강포에서 구원하리니 그들의 피가 그의 눈 앞에서 존귀히 여김을 받으리로다
14 He will rescue them from oppression and violence, for precious is their blood in his sight.
15 그들이 생존하여 스바의 금을 그에게 드리며 사람들이 그를 위하여 항상 기도하고 종일 찬송하리로다
15 Long may he live! May gold from Sheba be given him. May people ever pray for him and bless him all day long.
16 산 꼭대기의 땅에도 곡식이 풍성하고 그것의 열매가 레바논 같이 흔들리며 성에 있는 자가 땅의 풀 같이 왕성하리로다
16 Let grain abound throughout the land; on the tops of the hills may it sway. Let its fruit flourish like Lebanon; let it thrive like the grass of the field.
17 그의 이름이 영구함이여 그의 이름이 해와 같이 장구하리로다 사람들이 그로 말미암아 복을 받으리니 모든 민족이 다 그를 복되다 하리로다
17 May his name endure forever; may it continue as long as the sun. All nations will be blessed through him, and they will call him blessed.
18 홀로 기이한 일들을 행하시는 여호와 하나님 곧 이스라엘의 하나님을 찬송하며
18 Praise be to the LORD God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds.
19 그 영화로운 이름을 영원히 찬송할지어다 온 땅에 그의 영광이 충만할지어다 아멘 아멘
19 Praise be to his glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with his glory. Amen and Amen.
20 이새의 아들 다윗의 기도가 끝나니라
20 This concludes the prayers of David son of Jesse.
