에스겔
30장
1 또 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르시되
1 The word of theLordcame to me:
2 인자야 너는 예언하여 이르라 주 여호와께서 이와 같이 말씀하시되 너희는 통곡하며 이르기를 슬프다 이 날이여 하라
2 Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus says the LordGod:Wail,Alas for the day!
3 그 날이 가깝도다 여호와의 날이 가깝도다 구름의 날일 것이요 여러 나라들의 때이리로다
3 For the day is near,the day of theLordis near;it will bea day of clouds,a time of doom forthe nations.
4 애굽에 칼이 임할 것이라 애굽에서 죽임 당한 자들이 엎드러질 때에 구스에 심한 근심이 있을 것이며 애굽의 무리가 잡혀 가며 그 터가 헐릴 것이요
4 A sword shall come upon Egypt,and anguish shall be inCush,when the slain fall in Egypt,andher wealthis carried away,andher foundations are torn down.
5 구스와 붓과 룻과 모든 섞인 백성과 굽과 및 동맹한 땅의 백성들이 그들과 함께 칼에 엎드러지리라
5 Cush, andPut, and Lud, andall Arabia, and Libya,and the people of the land that is in league,shall fall with them by the sword.
6 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하셨느니라 애굽을 붙들어 주는 자도 엎드러질 것이요 애굽의 교만한 권세도 낮아질 것이라 믹돌에서부터 수에네까지 무리가 그 가운데에서 칼에 엎드러지리라 주 여호와의 말씀이니라
6 Thus says theLord:Those who support Egypt shall fall,andher proud might shall come down;from Migdol to Syenethey shall fall within her by the sword,declares the LordGod.
7 황폐한 나라들 같이 그들도 황폐할 것이며 사막이 된 성읍들 같이 그 성읍들도 사막이 될 것이라
7 And they shall be desolated in the midst of desolated countries,and their cities shall be in the midst of cities that are laid waste.
8 내가 애굽에 불을 일으키며 그 모든 돕는 자를 멸할 때에 그들이 나를 여호와인 줄 알리라
8 Then they will know that I am theLord,whenI have set fire to Egypt,andall her helpers are broken.
9 그 날에 사절들이 내 앞에서 배로 나아가서 염려 없는 구스 사람을 두렵게 하리니 애굽의 재앙의 날과 같이 그들에게도 심한 근심이 있으리라 이것이 오리로다
9 On that daymessengers shall go out from me in ships to terrify the unsuspectingpeople of Cush, andanguish shall come upon them on the day of Egypt's doom;for, behold, it comes!
10 주 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하셨느니라 내가 또 바벨론의 느부갓네살 왕의 손으로 애굽의 무리들을 끊으리니
10 Thus says the LordGod:I will put an end to the wealth of Egypt,by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon.
11 그가 여러 나라 가운데에 강포한 자기 군대를 거느리고 와서 그 땅을 멸망시킬 때에 칼을 빼어 애굽을 쳐서 죽임 당한 자로 땅에 가득하게 하리라
11 He and his people with him,the most ruthless of nations,shall be brought in to destroy the land,and they shall draw their swords against Egyptand fill the land with the slain.
12 내가 그 모든 강을 마르게 하고 그 땅을 악인의 손에 팔겠으며 타국 사람의 손으로 그 땅과 그 가운데에 있는 모든 것을 황폐하게 하리라 나 여호와의 말이니라
12 AndI willdry up the Nileand will sell the land into the hand ofevildoers;I will bring desolation upon the land and everything in it,by the hand offoreigners;I am theLord; I have spoken.
13 주 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하셨느니라 내가 그 우상들을 없애며 신상들을 놉 가운데에서 부수며 애굽 땅에서 왕이 다시 나지 못하게 하고 그 땅에 두려움이 있게 하리라
13 Thus says the LordGod:I will destroy the idolsand put an end to the images inMemphis;there shall no longer be a prince from the land of Egypt;soI will put fear in the land of Egypt.
14 내가 바드로스를 황폐하게 하며 소안에 불을 지르며 노 나라를 심판하며
14 I will makePathros a desolationand will set fire toZoanand will execute judgments onThebes.
15 내 분노를 애굽의 견고한 성읍 신에 쏟고 또 노 나라의 무리를 끊을 것이라
15 And I will pour out my wrath on Pelusium,the stronghold of Egypt,and cut off the multitudeof Thebes.
16 내가 애굽에 불을 일으키리니 신 나라가 심히 근심할 것이며 노 나라는 찢겨 나누일 것이며 놉 나라가 날로 대적이 있을 것이며
16 And I will set fire to Egypt;Pelusium shall be in great agony;Thebes shall be breached,andMemphis shall face enemiesby day.
17 아웬과 비베셋의 장정들은 칼에 엎드러질 것이며 그 성읍 주민들은 포로가 될 것이라
17 The young men of On and of Pi-beseth shall fall by the sword,and the womenshall go into captivity.
18 내가 애굽의 멍에를 꺾으며 그 교만한 권세를 그 가운데에서 그치게 할 때에 드합느헤스에서는 날이 어둡겠고 그 성읍에는 구름이 덮일 것이며 그 딸들은 포로가 될 것이라
18 AtTehaphnehesthe day shall be dark,when I break there the yoke bars of Egypt,andher proud might shall come to an end in her;she shall be covered by a cloud,and her daughters shall go into captivity.
19 이같이 내가 애굽을 심판하리니 내가 여호와인 줄을 그들이 알리라 하셨다 하라
19 ThusI will execute judgments on Egypt.Then they will know that I am theLord.
20 열한째 해 첫째 달 일곱째 날에 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르시되
20 In the eleventh year, in the first month, on the seventh day of the month, the word of theLordcame to me:
21 인자야 내가 애굽의 바로 왕의 팔을 꺾었더니 칼을 잡을 힘이 있도록 그것을 아주 싸매지도 못하였고 약을 붙여 싸매지도 못하였느니라
21 Son of man,I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and behold,it has not been bound up, to heal it by binding it with a bandage, so that it may become strong to wield the sword.
22 그러므로 주 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하셨느니라 내가 애굽의 바로 왕을 대적하여 그 두 팔 곧 성한 팔과 이미 꺾인 팔을 꺾어서 칼이 그 손에서 떨어지게 하고
22 Therefore thus says the LordGod: Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt andwill break his arms, both the strong arm and the one that was broken, and I will make the sword fall from his hand.
23 애굽 사람을 뭇 나라 가운데로 흩으며 뭇 백성 가운데로 헤칠지라
23 I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations and disperse them through the countries.
24 내가 바벨론 왕의 팔을 견고하게 하고 내 칼을 그 손에 넘겨 주려니와 내가 바로의 팔을 꺾으리니 그가 바벨론 왕 앞에서 고통하기를 죽게 상한 자의 고통하듯 하리라
24 AndI will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon and putmy sword in his hand, but I will break the arms of Pharaoh, and he will groan before himlike a man mortally wounded.
25 내가 바벨론 왕의 팔은 들어 주고 바로의 팔은 내려뜨릴 것이라 내가 내 칼을 바벨론 왕의 손에 넘기고 그를 들어 애굽 땅을 치게 하리니 내가 여호와인 줄을 그들이 알리라
25 I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, but the arms of Pharaoh shall fall.Then they shall know that I am theLord,when I put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon and he stretches it out against the land of Egypt.
26 내가 애굽 사람을 나라들 가운데로 흩으며 백성들 가운데로 헤치리니 내가 여호와인 줄을 그들이 알리라
26 And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations and disperse them throughout the countries. Then they will know that I am theLord.히브리서
12장
1 이러므로 우리에게 구름 같이 둘러싼 허다한 증인들이 있으니 모든 무거운 것과 얽매이기 쉬운 죄를 벗어 버리고 인내로써 우리 앞에 당한 경주를 하며
1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, andsin which clings so closely, andlet us runwith endurance the race that isset before us,
2 믿음의 주요 또 온전하게 하시는 이인 예수를 바라보자 그는 그 앞에 있는 기쁨을 위하여 십자가를 참으사 부끄러움을 개의치 아니하시더니 하나님 보좌 우편에 앉으셨느니라
2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith,who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despisingthe shame, andis seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
3 너희가 피곤하여 낙심하지 않기 위하여 죄인들이 이같이 자기에게 거역한 일을 참으신 이를 생각하라
3 Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary orfainthearted.
4 너희가 죄와 싸우되 아직 피흘리기까지는 대항하지 아니하고
4 In your struggle against sin you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.
5 또 아들들에게 권하는 것 같이 너희에게 권면하신 말씀도 잊었도다 일렀으되 내 아들아 주의 징계하심을 경히 여기지 말며 그에게 꾸지람을 받을 때에 낙심하지 말라
5 And have you forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons?My son,do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord,nor be weary when reproved by him.
6 주께서 그 사랑하시는 자를 징계하시고 그가 받아들이시는 아들마다 채찍질하심이라 하였으니
6 Forthe Lord disciplines the one he loves,and chastises every son whom he receives.
7 너희가 참음은 징계를 받기 위함이라 하나님이 아들과 같이 너희를 대우하시나니 어찌 아버지가 징계하지 않는 아들이 있으리요
7 It is for discipline that you have to endure.God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline?
8 징계는 다 받는 것이거늘 너희에게 없으면 사생자요 친아들이 아니니라
8 If you are left without discipline,in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.
9 또 우리 육신의 아버지가 우리를 징계하여도 공경하였거든 하물며 모든 영의 아버지께 더욱 복종하며 살려 하지 않겠느냐
9 Besides this, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us and we respected them. Shall we not much more be subject tothe Father of spiritsand live?
10 그들은 잠시 자기의 뜻대로 우리를 징계하였거니와 오직 하나님은 우리의 유익을 위하여 그의 거룩하심에 참여하게 하시느니라
10 For they disciplined us for a short time as it seemed best to them, but he disciplines us for our good,that we may share his holiness.
11 무릇 징계가 당시에는 즐거워 보이지 않고 슬퍼 보이나 후에 그로 말미암아 연단 받은 자들은 의와 평강의 열매를 맺느니라
11 For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yieldsthe peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
