에스겔
28장
1 또 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르시되
1 The word of theLordcame to me:
2 인자야 너는 두로 왕에게 이르기를 주 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 네 마음이 교만하여 말하기를 나는 신이라 내가 하나님의 자리 곧 바다 가운데에 앉아 있다 하도다 네 마음이 하나님의 마음 같은 체할지라도 너는 사람이요 신이 아니거늘
2 Son of man, say tothe prince of Tyre, Thus says the LordGod:Because your heart is proud,andyou have said,I am a god,I sit in the seat of the gods,in the heart of the seas,yetyou are but a man, and no god,though you make your heart like the heart of a god&emdash;
3 네가 다니엘보다 지혜로워서 은밀한 것을 깨닫지 못할 것이 없다 하고
3 you are indeed wiserthanDaniel;no secret is hidden from you;
4 네 지혜와 총명으로 재물을 얻었으며 금과 은을 곳간에 저축하였으며
4 by your wisdom and your understandingyou have made wealth for yourself,and have gathered gold and silverinto your treasuries;
5 네 큰 지혜와 네 무역으로 재물을 더하고 그 재물로 말미암아 네 마음이 교만하였도다
5 by your great wisdom in your tradeyou have increased your wealth,andyour heart has become proud in your wealth&emdash;
6 그러므로 주 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하셨느니라 네 마음이 하나님의 마음 같은 체하였으니
6 therefore thus says the LordGod:Because you make your heartlike the heart of a god,
7 그런즉 내가 이방인 곧 여러 나라의 강포한 자를 거느리고 와서 너를 치리니 그들이 칼을 빼어 네 지혜의 아름다운 것을 치며 네 영화를 더럽히며
7 therefore, behold, I will bringforeigners upon you,the most ruthless of the nations;and they shall draw their swords againstthe beauty of your wisdomand defileyour splendor.
8 또 너를 구덩이에 빠뜨려서 너를 바다 가운데에서 죽임을 당한 자의 죽음 같이 바다 가운데에서 죽게 할지라
8 They shall thrust you down into the pit,and you shall die the death of the slainin the heart of the seas.
9 네가 너를 죽이는 자 앞에서도 내가 하나님이라고 말하겠느냐 너를 치는 자들 앞에서 사람일 뿐이요 신이 아니라
9 Will you still say,I am a god,in the presence of those who kill you,thoughyou are but a man, and no god,in the hands of those who slay you?
10 네가 이방인의 손에서 죽기를 할례 받지 않은 자의 죽음 같이 하리니 내가 말하였음이니라 주 여호와의 말씀이니라 하셨다 하라
10 You shall die the death of the uncircumcisedby the hand of foreigners;for I have spoken, declares the LordGod.
11 여호와의 말씀이 또 내게 임하여 이르시되
11 Moreover, the word of theLordcame to me:
12 인자야 두로 왕을 위하여 슬픈 노래를 지어 그에게 이르기를 주 여호와의 말씀에 너는 완전한 도장이었고 지혜가 충족하며 온전히 아름다웠도다
12 Son of man,raise a lamentation overthe king of Tyre, and say to him, Thus says the LordGod:You were the signet of perfection,full of wisdom andperfect in beauty.
13 네가 옛적에 하나님의 동산 에덴에 있어서 각종 보석 곧 홍보석과 황보석과 금강석과 황옥과 홍마노와 창옥과 청보석과 남보석과 홍옥과 황금으로 단장하였음이여 네가 지음을 받던 날에 너를 위하여 소고와 비파가 준비되었도다
13 You were inEden, the garden of God;every precious stone was your covering,sardius, topaz, and diamond,beryl, onyx, and jasper,sapphire,emerald, and carbuncle;and crafted in gold were your settingsand your engravings.On the day that you were createdthey were prepared.
14 너는 기름 부음을 받고 지키는 그룹임이여 내가 너를 세우매 네가 하나님의 성산에 있어서 불타는 돌들 사이에 왕래하였도다
14 You were an anointedguardian cherub.I placed you;you were onthe holy mountain of God;in the midst of the stones of fire you walked.
15 네가 지음을 받던 날로부터 네 모든 길에 완전하더니 마침내 네게서 불의가 드러났도다
15 You were blameless in your waysfrom the day you were created,till unrighteousness was found in you.
16 네 무역이 많으므로 네 가운데에 강포가 가득하여 네가 범죄하였도다 너 지키는 그룹아 그러므로 내가 너를 더럽게 여겨 하나님의 산에서 쫓아냈고 불타는 돌들 사이에서 멸하였도다
16 In the abundance ofyour tradeyou were filled with violence in your midst, and you sinned;so I cast you as a profane thing fromthe mountain of God,and I destroyed you,O guardian cherub,from the midst of the stones of fire.
17 네가 아름다우므로 마음이 교만하였으며 네가 영화로우므로 네 지혜를 더럽혔음이여 내가 너를 땅에 던져 왕들 앞에 두어 그들의 구경 거리가 되게 하였도다
17 Your heart was proud because ofyour beauty;you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor.I cast you to the ground;I exposed you before kings,to feast their eyes on you.
18 네가 죄악이 많고 무역이 불의하므로 네 모든 성소를 더럽혔음이여 내가 네 가운데에서 불을 내어 너를 사르게 하고 너를 보고 있는 모든 자 앞에서 너를 땅 위에 재가 되게 하였도다
18 By the multitude of your iniquities,in the unrighteousness of your tradeyou profaned your sanctuaries;soI brought fire out from your midst;it consumed you,and I turned you to ashes on the earthin the sight of all who saw you.
19 만민 중에 너를 아는 자가 너로 말미암아 다 놀랄 것임이여 네가 공포의 대상이 되고 네가 영원히 다시 있지 못하리로다 하셨다 하라
19 All who know you among the peoplesare appalled at you;you have come to a dreadful endand shall be no more forever.
20 여호와의 말씀이 또 내게 임하여 이르시되
20 The word of theLordcame to me:
21 인자야 너는 얼굴을 시돈으로 향하고 그에게 예언하라
21 Son of man,set your face towardSidon, andprophesy against her
22 너는 이르기를 주 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 시돈아 내가 너를 대적하나니 네 가운데에서 내 영광이 나타나리라 하셨다 하라 내가 그 가운데에서 심판을 행하여 내 거룩함을 나타낼 때에 무리가 나를 여호와인 줄을 알지라
22 and say, Thus says the LordGod:Behold,I am against you, O Sidon,andI will manifest my glory in your midst.Andthey shall know that I am theLordwhen I execute judgments in herandmanifest my holiness in her;
23 내가 그에게 전염병을 보내며 그의 거리에 피가 흐르게 하리니 사방에서 오는 칼에 상한 자가 그 가운데에 엎드러질 것인즉 무리가 나를 여호와인 줄을 알겠고
23 for I will sendpestilence into her,and blood into her streets;and the slain shall fall in her midst,by the sword that is against her on every side.Then they will know that I am theLord.
24 이스라엘 족속에게는 그 사방에서 그들을 멸시하는 자 중에 찌르는 가시와 아프게 하는 가시가 다시는 없으리니 내가 주 여호와인 줄을 그들이 알리라
24 And for the house of Israelthere shall be no more a brier to prick ora thorn to hurt them among all their neighborswho have treated them with contempt. Then they will know that I am the LordGod.
25 주 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하셨느니라 내가 여러 민족 가운데에 흩어져 있는 이스라엘 족속을 모으고 그들로 말미암아 여러 나라의 눈 앞에서 내 거룩함을 나타낼 때에 그들이 고국 땅 곧 내 종 야곱에게 준 땅에 거주할지라
25 Thus says the LordGod:When I gather the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, andmanifest my holiness in them in the sight of the nations,then they shall dwell in their own land that I gave to my servant Jacob.
26 그들이 그 가운데에 평안히 살면서 집을 건축하며 포도원을 만들고 그들의 사방에서 멸시하던 모든 자를 내가 심판할 때에 그들이 평안히 살며 내가 그 하나님 여호와인 줄을 그들이 알리라
26 And they shall dwell securely in it, and they shall build houses and plant vineyards. They shall dwell securely,when I execute judgments upon all their neighborswho have treated them with contempt.Then they will know that I am theLordtheir God.히브리서
11장
17 아브라함은 시험을 받을 때에 믿음으로 이삭을 드렸으니 그는 약속들을 받은 자로되 그 외아들을 드렸느니라
17 By faithAbraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises was in the act of offering up his only son,
18 그에게 이미 말씀하시기를 네 자손이라 칭할 자는 이삭으로 말미암으리라 하셨으니
18 of whom it was said,Through Isaac shall your offspring be named.
19 그가 하나님이 능히 이삭을 죽은 자 가운데서 다시 살리실 줄로 생각한지라 비유컨대 그를 죽은 자 가운데서 도로 받은 것이니라
19 He considered that God was able even to raise him from the dead, from which, figuratively speaking, he did receive him back.
20 믿음으로 이삭은 장차 있을 일에 대하여 야곱과 에서에게 축복하였으며
20 By faithIsaac invoked future blessings on Jacob and Esau.
21 믿음으로 야곱은 죽을 때에 요셉의 각 아들에게 축복하고 그 지팡이 머리에 의지하여 경배하였으며
21 By faithJacob, when dying, blessed each of the sons of Joseph,bowing in worship over the head of his staff.
22 믿음으로 요셉은 임종시에 이스라엘 자손들이 떠날 것을 말하고 또 자기 뼈를 위하여 명하였으며
22 By faithJoseph, at the end of his life, made mention of the exodus of the Israelites and gave directions concerning his bones.
23 믿음으로 모세가 났을 때에 그 부모가 아름다운 아이임을 보고 석 달 동안 숨겨 왕의 명령을 무서워하지 아니하였으며
23 By faithMoses, when he was born, was hidden for three months by his parents, because they saw that the child was beautiful, and they were not afraid ofthe king's edict.
24 믿음으로 모세는 장성하여 바로의 공주의 아들이라 칭함 받기를 거절하고
24 By faith Moses, when he was grown up,refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter,
25 도리어 하나님의 백성과 함께 고난 받기를 잠시 죄악의 낙을 누리는 것보다 더 좋아하고
25 choosing rather to be mistreated with the people of God than to enjoythe fleeting pleasures of sin.
26 그리스도를 위하여 받는 수모를 애굽의 모든 보화보다 더 큰 재물로 여겼으니 이는 상 주심을 바라봄이라
26 He considered the reproach of Christ greater wealth than the treasures of Egypt, for he was looking tothe reward.
27 믿음으로 애굽을 떠나 왕의 노함을 무서워하지 아니하고 곧 보이지 아니하는 자를 보는 것 같이 하여 참았으며
27 By faith heleft Egypt,not being afraid of the anger of the king, for he enduredas seeing him who is invisible.
28 믿음으로 유월절과 피 뿌리는 예식을 정하였으니 이는 장자를 멸하는 자로 그들을 건드리지 않게 하려 한 것이며
28 By faithhe kept the Passover and sprinkled the blood, so that the Destroyer of the firstborn might not touch them.
29 믿음으로 그들은 홍해를 육지 같이 건넜으나 애굽 사람들은 이것을 시험하다가 빠져 죽었으며
29 By faiththe people crossed the Red Sea as on dry land, but the Egyptians, when they attempted to do the same, were drowned.
30 믿음으로 칠 일 동안 여리고를 도니 성이 무너졌으며
30 By faiththe walls of Jericho fell down after they had been encircled for seven days.
31 믿음으로 기생 라합은 정탐꾼을 평안히 영접하였으므로 순종하지 아니한 자와 함께 멸망하지 아니하였도다
31 By faithRahab the prostitute did not perish with those who were disobedient, because shehad given a friendly welcome to the spies.
