에베소서 (Ephesians)
4:17-6:9
17 그러므로 내가 이것을 말하며 주 안에서 증거하노니 이제부터는 이방인이 그 마음의 허망한 것으로 행함 같이 너희는 행하지 말라
17 So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking.
18 저희 총명이 어두워지고 저희 가운데 있는 무지함과 저희 마음이 굳어짐으로 말미암아 하나님의 생명에서 떠나 있도다
18 They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts.
19 저희가 감각 없는 자 되어 자신을 방탕에 방임하여 모든 더러운 것을 욕심으로 행하되
19 Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, with a continual lust for more.
20 오직 너희는 그리스도를 이같이 배우지 아니하였느니라
20 You, however, did not come to know Christ that way.
21 진리가 예수 안에 있는 것 같이 너희가 과연 그에게서 듣고 또한 그 안에서 가르침을 받았을찐대
21 Surely you heard of him and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus.
22 너희는 유혹의 욕심을 따라 썩어져 가는 구습을 좇는 옛 사람을 벗어 버리고
22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;
23 오직 심령으로 새롭게 되어
23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds;
24 하나님을 따라 의와 진리의 거룩함으로 지으심을 받은 새 사람을 입으라
24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
25 그런즉 거짓을 버리고 각각 그 이웃으로 더불어 참된 것을 말하라 이는 우리가 서로 지체가 됨이니라
25 Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one body.
26 분을 내어도 죄를 짓지 말며 해가 지도록 분을 품지 말고
26 In your anger do not sin: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry,
27 마귀로 틈을 타지 못하게 하라
27 and do not give the devil a foothold.
28 도적질하는 자는 다시 도적질하지 말고 돌이켜 빈궁한 자에게 구제할 것이 있기 위하여 제 손으로 수고하여 선한 일을 하라
28 He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands, that he may have something to share with those in need.
29 무릇 더러운 말은 너희 입밖에도 내지 말고 오직 덕을 세우는데 소용되는대로 선한 말을 하여 듣는 자들에게 은혜를 끼치게 하라
29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
30 하나님의 성령을 근심하게 하지 말라 그 안에서 너희가 구속의 날까지 인치심을 받았느니라
30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
31 너희는 모든 악독과 노함과 분냄과 떠드는 것과 훼방하는 것을 모든 악의와 함께 버리고
31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.
32 서로 인자하게 하며 불쌍히 여기며 서로 용서하기를 하나님이 그리스도 안에서 너희를 용서하심과 같이 하라
32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
5장
1 그러므로 사랑을 입은 자녀 같이 너희는 하나님을 본받는 자가 되고
1 Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children
2 그리스도께서 너희를 사랑하신 것 같이 너희도 사랑 가운데서 행하라 그는 우리를 위하여 자신을 버리사 향기로운 제물과 생축으로 하나님께 드리셨느니라
2 and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
3 음행과 온갖 더러운 것과 탐욕은 너희 중에서 그 이름이라도 부르지 말라 이는 성도의 마땅한 바니라
3 But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God`s holy people.
4 누추함과 어리석은 말이나 희롱의 말이 마땅치 아니하니 돌이켜 감사하는 말을 하라
4 Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.
5 너희도 이것을 정녕히 알거니와 음행하는 자나 더러운 자나 탐하는 자 곧 우상 숭배자는 다 그리스도와 하나님 나라에서 기업을 얻지 못하리니
5 For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person--such a man is an idolater--has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
6 누구든지 헛된 말로 너희를 속이지 못하게 하라 이를 인하여 하나님의 진노가 불순종의 아들들에게 임하나니
6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God`s wrath comes on those who are disobedient.
7 그러므로 저희와 함께 참예하는 자 되지 말라
7 Therefore do not be partners with them.
8 너희가 전에는 어두움이더니 이제는 주 안에서 빛이라 빛의 자녀들처럼 행하라
8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light
9 빛의 열매는 모든 착함과 의로움과 진실함에 있느니라
9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth)
10 주께 기쁘시게 할 것이 무엇인가 시험하여 보라
10 and find out what pleases the Lord.
11 너희는 열매 없는 어두움의 일에 참예하지 말고 도리어 책망하라
11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.
12 저희의 은밀히 행하는 것들은 말하기도 부끄러움이라
12 For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.
13 그러나 책망을 받는 모든 것이 빛으로 나타나나니 나타나지는 것마다 빛이니라
13 But everything exposed by the light becomes visible,
14 그러므로 이르시기를 잠자는 자여 깨어서 죽은 자들 가운데서 일어나라 그리스도께서 네게 비취시리라 하셨느니라
14 for it is light that makes everything visible. This is why it is said: "Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you."
15 그런즉 너희가 어떻게 행할 것을 자세히 주의하여 지혜 없는 자 같이 말고 오직 지혜 있는 자 같이 하여
15 Be very careful, then, how you live--not as unwise but as wise,
16 세월을 아끼라 때가 악하니라
16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.
17 그러므로 어리석은 자가 되지 말고 오직 주의 뜻이 무엇인가 이해하라
17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord`s will is.
18 술 취하지 말라 이는 방탕한 것이니 오직 성령의 충만을 받으라
18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.
19 시와 찬미와 신령한 노래들로 서로 화답하며 너희의 마음으로 주께 노래하며 찬송하며
19 Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord,
20 범사에 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 항상 아버지 하나님께 감사하며
20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
21 그리스도를 경외함으로 피차 복종하라
21 Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.
22 아내들이여 자기 남편에게 복종하기를 주께 하듯하라
22 Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord.
23 이는 남편이 아내의 머리 됨이 그리스도께서 교회의 머리 됨과 같음이니 그가 친히 몸의 구주시니라
23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.
24 그러나 교회가 그리스도에게 하듯 아내들도 범사에 그 남편에게 복종할찌니라
24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
25 남편들아 아내 사랑하기를 그리스도께서 교회를 사랑하시고 위하여 자신을 주심 같이 하라
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her
26 이는 곧 물로 씻어 말씀으로 깨끗하게 하사 거룩하게 하시고
26 to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word,
27 자기 앞에 영광스러운 교회로 세우사 티나 주름잡힌 것이나 이런 것들이 없이 거룩하고 흠이 없게 하려 하심이니라
27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.
28 이와 같이 남편들도 자기 아내 사랑하기를 제몸 같이 할찌니 자기 아내를 사랑하는 자는 자기를 사랑하는 것이라
28 In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
29 누구든지 언제든지 제 육체를 미워하지 않고 오직 양육하여 보호하기를 그리스도께서 교회를 보양함과 같이 하나니
29 After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church--
30 우리는 그 몸의 지체임이니라
30 for we are members of his body.
31 이러므로 사람이 부모를 떠나 그 아내와 합하여 그 둘이 한 육체가 될찌니
31 For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.
32 이 비밀이 크도다 내가 그리스도와 교회에 대하여 말하노라
32 This is a profound mystery--but I am talking about Christ and the church.
33 그러나 너희도 각각 자기의 아내 사랑하기를 자기 같이 하고 아내도 그 남편을 경외하라
33 However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.
6장
1 자녀들아 너희 부모를 주 안에서 순종하라 이것이 옳으니라
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
2 네 아버지와 어머니를 공경하라 이것이 약속 있는 첫계명이니
2 Honor your father and mother--which is the first commandment with a promise--
3 이는 네가 잘 되고 땅에서 장수하리라
3 that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.
4 또 아비들아 너희 자녀를 노엽게 하지 말고 오직 주의 교양과 훈계로 양육하라
4 Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.
5 종들아 두려워하고 떨며 성실한 마음으로 육체의 상전에게 순종하기를 그리스도께 하듯하여
5 Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ.
6 눈가림만 하여 사람을 기쁘게 하는 자처럼 하지 말고 그리스도의 종들처럼 마음으로 하나님의 뜻을 행하여
6 Obey them not only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but like slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart.
7 단 마음으로 섬기기를 주께 하듯하고 사람들에게 하듯하지 말라
7 Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men,
8 이는 각 사람이 무슨 선을 행하든지 종이나 자유하는 자나 주에게 그대로 받을 줄을 앎이니라
8 because you know that the Lord will reward everyone for whatever good he does, whether he is slave or free.
9 상전들아 너희도 저희에게 이와 같이 하고 공갈을 그치라 이는 저희와 너희의 상전이 하늘에 계시고 그에게는 외모로 사람을 취하는 일이 없는줄 너희가 앎이니라
9 And masters, treat your slaves in the same way. Do not threaten them, since you know that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no favoritism with him.시편 (Psalms)
86
1 여호와여 나는 곤고하고 궁핍하오니 귀를 기울여 내게 응답하소서
1 Hear, O LORD, and answer me, for I am poor and needy.
2 나는 경건하오니 내 영혼을 보존하소서 내 주 하나님이여 주를 의지하는 종을 구원하소서
2 Guard my life, for I am devoted to you. You are my God; save your servant who trusts in you.
3 주여 나를 긍휼히 여기소서 내가 종일 주께 부르짖나이다
3 Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I call to you all day long.
4 주여 내 영혼이 주를 우러러 보오니 주여 내 영혼을 기쁘게 하소서
4 Bring joy to your servant, for to you, O Lord, I lift up my soul.
5 주는 선하사 사유하기를 즐기시며 주께 부르짖는 자에게 인자함이 후하심이니이다
5 You are forgiving and good, O Lord, abounding in love to all who call to you.
6 여호와여 나의 기도에 귀를 기울이시고 나의 간구하는 소리를 들으소서
6 Hear my prayer, O LORD; listen to my cry for mercy.
7 나의 환난 날에 내가 주께 부르짖으리니 주께서 내게 응답하시리이다
7 In the day of my trouble I will call to you, for you will answer me.
8 주여 신들 중에 주와 같은 자 없사오며 주의 행사와 같음도 없나이다
8 Among the gods there is none like you, O Lord; no deeds can compare with yours.
9 주여 주의 지으신 모든 열방이 와서 주의 앞에 경배하며 주의 이름에 영화를 돌리리이다
9 All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, O Lord; they will bring glory to your name.
10 대저 주는 광대하사 기사를 행하시오니 주만 하나님이시니이다
10 For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God.
11 여호와여 주의 도로 내게 가르치소서 내가 주의 진리에 행하오리니 일심으로 주의 이름을 경외하게 하소서
11 Teach me your way, O LORD, and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.
12 주 나의 하나님이여 내가 전심으로 주를 찬송하고 영영토록 주의 이름에 영화를 돌리오리니
12 I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever.
13 이는 내게 향하신 주의 인자가 크사 내 영혼을 깊은 음부에서 건지셨음이니이다
13 For great is your love toward me; you have delivered me from the depths of the grave.
14 하나님이여 교만한 자가 일어나 나를 치고 강포한 자의 무리가 내 혼을 찾았사오며 자기 앞에 주를 두지 아니하였나이다
14 The arrogant are attacking me, O God; a band of ruthless men seeks my life-- men without regard for you.
15 그러나 주여 주는 긍휼히 여기시며 은혜를 베푸시며 노하기를 더디하시며 인자와 진실이 풍성하신 하나님이시오니
15 But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.
16 내게로 돌이키사 나를 긍휼히 여기소서 주의 종에게 힘을 주시고 주의 여종의 아들을 구원하소서
16 Turn to me and have mercy on me; grant your strength to your servant and save the son of your maidservant.
17 은총의 표징을 내게 보이소서 그러면 나를 미워하는 저희가 보고 부끄러워하오리니 여호와여 주는 나를 돕고 위로하심이니이다
17 Give me a sign of your goodness, that my enemies may see it and be put to shame, for you, O LORD, have helped me and comforted me.
