디모데 전서 (1 Timothy)
3:14-4:16
14 내가 속히 네게 가기를 바라나 이것을 네게 쓰는 것은
14 Although I hope to come to you soon, I am writing you these instructions so that,
15 만일 내가 지체하면 너로 하나님의 집에서 어떻게 행하여야 할 것을 알게 하려 함이니 이 집은 살아 계신 하나님의 교회요 진리의 기둥과 터이니라
15 if I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God`s household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.
16 크도다 경건의 비밀이여, 그렇지 않다 하는 이 없도다 그는 육신으로 나타난 바 되시고 영으로 의롭다 하심을 입으시고 천사들에게 보이시고 만국에서 전파되시고 세상에서 믿은바 되시고 영광 가운데서 올리우셨음이니라
16 Beyond all question, the mystery of godliness is great: He appeared in a body, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.
4장
1 그러나 성령이 밝히 말씀하시기를 후일에 어떤 사람들이 믿음에서 떠나 미혹케 하는 영과 귀신의 가르침을 좇으리라 하셨으니
1 The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.
2 자기 양심이 화인 맞아서 외식함으로 거짓말하는 자들이라
2 Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.
3 혼인을 금하고 식물을 폐하라 할터이나 식물은 하나님이 지으신 바니 믿는 자들과 진리를 아는 자들이 감사함으로 받을 것이니라
3 They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth.
4 하나님의 지으신 모든 것이 선하매 감사함으로 받으면 버릴 것이 없나니
4 For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving,
5 하나님의 말씀과 기도로 거룩하여짐이니라
5 because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.
6 네가 이것으로 형제를 깨우치면 그리스도 예수의 선한 일군이 되어 믿음의 말씀과 네가 좇은 선한 교훈으로 양육을 받으리라
6 If you point these things out to the brothers, you will be a good minister of Christ Jesus, brought up in the truths of the faith and of the good teaching that you have followed.
7 망령되고 허탄한 신화를 버리고 오직 경건에 이르기를 연습하라
7 Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives` tales; rather, train yourself to be godly.
8 육체의 연습은 약간의 유익이 있으나 경건은 범사에 유익하니 금생과 내생에 약속이 있느니라
8 For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.
9 미쁘다 이 말이여 모든 사람들이 받을만하도다
9 This is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance
10 이를 위하여 우리가 수고하고 진력하는 것은 우리 소망을 살아 계신 하나님께 둠이니 곧 모든 사람 특히 믿는 자들의 구주시라
10 (and for this we labor and strive), that we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, and especially of those who believe.
11 네가 이것들을 명하고 가르치라
11 Command and teach these things.
12 누구든지 네 연소함을 업신여기지 못하게 하고 오직 말과 행실과 사랑과 믿음과 정절에 대하여 믿는 자에게 본이 되어
12 Don`t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.
13 내가 이를 때까지 읽는 것과 권하는 것과 가르치는 것에 착념하라
13 Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching.
14 네 속에 있는 은사 곧 장로의 회에서 안수 받을 때에 예언으로 말미암아 받은 것을 조심 없이 말며
14 Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through a prophetic message when the body of elders laid their hands on you.
15 이 모든 일에 전심전력하여 너의 진보를 모든 사람에게 나타나게 하라
15 Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress.
16 네가 네 자신과 가르침을 삼가 이 일을 계속하라 이것을 행함으로 네 자신과 네게 듣는 자를 구원하리라
16 Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.시편 (Psalms)

1 할렐루야, 내가 정직한 자의 회와 공회 중에서 전심으로 여호와께 감사하리로다
1 Praise the LORD. I will extol the LORD with all my heart in the council of the upright and in the assembly.
2 여호와의 행사가 크시니 이를 즐거워하는 자가 다 연구하는도다
2 Great are the works of the LORD; they are pondered by all who delight in them.
3 그 행사가 존귀하고 엄위하며 그 의가 영원히 있도다
3 Glorious and majestic are his deeds, and his righteousness endures forever.
4 그 기이한 일을 사람으로 기억케 하셨으니 여호와는 은혜로우시고 자비하시도다
4 He has caused his wonders to be remembered; the LORD is gracious and compassionate.
5 여호와께서 자기를 경외하는 자에게 양식을 주시며 그 언약을 영원히 기억하시리로다
5 He provides food for those who fear him; he remembers his covenant forever.
6 저가 자기 백성에게 열방을 기업으로 주사 그 행사의 능을 저희에게 보이셨도다
6 He has shown his people the power of his works, giving them the lands of other nations.
7 그 손의 행사는 진실과 공의며 그 법도는 다 확실하니
7 The works of his hands are faithful and just; all his precepts are trustworthy.
8 영원 무궁히 정하신바요 진실과 정의로 행하신 바로다
8 They are steadfast for ever and ever, done in faithfulness and uprightness.
9 여호와께서 그 백성에게 구속을 베푸시며 그 언약을 영원히 세우셨으니 그 이름이 거룩하고 지존하시도다
9 He provided redemption for his people; he ordained his covenant forever-- holy and awesome is his name.
10 여호와를 경외함이 곧 지혜의 근본이라 그 계명을 지키는 자는 다 좋은 지각이 있나니 여호와를 찬송함이 영원히 있으리로다
10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise.
