48장
15 이 이만 오천 척 다음으로 너비 오천 척은 속된 땅으로 구분하여 성읍을 세우며 거주하는 곳과 전원을 삼되 성읍이 그 중앙에 있게 할지니
15 The remainder, 5,000 cubits in breadth and 25,000 in length, shall befor common use for the city, for dwellings and foropen country. In the midst of it shall be the city,
16 그 크기는 북쪽도 사천오백 척이요 남쪽도 사천오백 척이요 동쪽도 사천오백 척이요 서쪽도 사천오백 척이며
16 and these shall be its measurements:the north side 4,500 cubits, the south side 4,500, the east side 4,500, and the west side 4,500.
17 그 성읍의 들은 북쪽으로 이백오십 척이요 남쪽으로 이백오십 척이요 동쪽으로 이백오십 척이요 서쪽으로 이백오십 척이며
17 And the city shall have open land: on the north 250 cubits, on the south 250, on the east 250, and on the west 250.
18 예물을 삼아 거룩히 구별할 땅과 연접하여 남아 있는 땅의 길이는 동쪽으로 만 척이요 서쪽으로 만 척이라 곧 예물을 삼아 거룩하게 구별할 땅과 연접하였으며 그 땅의 소산을 성읍에서 일하는 자의 양식을 삼을지라
18 The remainder of the length alongside the holy portion shall be 10,000 cubits to the east, and 10,000 to the west, and it shall be alongside the holy portion.Its produce shall be food for the workers of the city.
19 이스라엘 모든 지파 가운데에 그 성읍에서 일하는 자는 그 땅을 경작할지니라
19 And the workers of the city, from all the tribes of Israel, shall till it.
20 그런즉 예물로 드리는 땅의 합계는 길이도 이만 오천 척이요 너비도 이만 오천 척이라 너희가 거룩히 구별하여 드릴 땅은 성읍의 기지와 합하여 네모 반듯할 것이니라
20 The whole portion thatyou shall set apart shall be 25,000 cubits square, that is, the holy portion together with the property of the city.
21 거룩하게 구별할 땅과 성읍의 기지 좌우편에 남은 땅은 군주에게 돌릴지니 곧 거룩하게 구별할 땅의 동쪽을 향한 그 경계선 앞 이만 오천 척과 서쪽을 향한 그 경계선 앞 이만 오천 척이라 다른 몫들과 연접한 땅이니 이것을 군주에게 돌릴 것이며 거룩하게 구별할 땅과 성전의 성소가 그 중앙에 있으리라
21 What remains on both sides of the holy portion and of the property of the city shall belong to the prince. Extending from the 25,000 cubits of the holy portion to the east border, and westward from the 25,000 cubits to the west border, parallel to the tribal portions, it shall belong to the prince.The holy portion with the sanctuary of the temple shall be in its midst.
22 그런즉 군주에게 돌려 그에게 속할 땅은 레위 사람의 기업 좌우편과 성읍의 기지 좌우편이며 유다 지경과 베냐민 지경 사이에 있을지니라
22 It shall be separate from the property of the Levites and the property of the city, which are in the midst of that which belongs to the prince. The portion of the prince shall lie between the territory of Judah and the territory of Benjamin.
23 그 나머지 모든 지파는 동쪽에서 서쪽까지는 베냐민의 몫이요
23 As for the rest of the tribes: from the east side to the west, Benjamin, one portion.
24 베냐민 경계선 다음으로 동쪽에서 서쪽까지는 시므온의 몫이요
24 Adjoining the territory of Benjamin, from the east side to the west, Simeon, one portion.
25 시므온 경계선 다음으로 동쪽에서 서쪽까지는 잇사갈의 몫이요
25 Adjoining the territory of Simeon, from the east side to the west, Issachar, one portion.
26 잇사갈 경계선 다음으로 동쪽에서 서쪽까지는 스불론의 몫이요
26 Adjoining the territory of Issachar, from the east side to the west, Zebulun, one portion.
27 스불론 경계선 다음으로 동쪽에서 서쪽까지는 갓의 몫이며
27 Adjoining the territory of Zebulun, from the east side to the west, Gad, one portion.
28 갓 경계선 다음으로 남쪽 경계선은 다말에서부터 므리바가데스 샘에 이르고 애굽 시내를 따라 대해에 이르나니
28 And adjoining the territory of Gad to the south, the boundary shall runfrom Tamar to the waters ofMeribah-kadesh, from there along the Brook of Egypttothe Great Sea.
29 이것은 너희가 제비 뽑아 이스라엘 지파에게 나누어 주어 기업이 되게 할 땅이요 또 이것들은 그들의 몫이니라 주 여호와의 말씀이니라
29 This is the land thatyou shall allot as an inheritance among the tribes of Israel, and these are their portions, declares the LordGod.
30 그 성읍의 출입구는 이러하니라 북쪽의 너비가 사천오백 척이라
30 These shall bethe exits of the city: On the north side, which is to be4,500 cubits by measure,
31 그 성읍의 문들은 이스라엘 지파들의 이름을 따를 것인데 북쪽으로 문이 셋이라 하나는 르우벤 문이요 하나는 유다 문이요 하나는 레위 문이며
31 three gates, the gate ofReuben, the gate ofJudah, and the gate ofLevi, the gates of the city being named after the tribes of Israel.
32 동쪽의 너비는 사천오백 척이니 또한 문이 셋이라 하나는 요셉 문이요 하나는 베냐민 문이요 하나는 단 문이며
32 On the east side, which is to be 4,500 cubits, three gates, the gate of Joseph, the gate of Benjamin, and the gate of Dan.
33 남쪽의 너비는 사천오백 척이니 또한 문이 셋이라 하나는 시므온 문이요 하나는 잇사갈 문이요 하나는 스불론 문이며
33 On the south side, which is to be 4,500 cubits by measure, three gates, the gate of Simeon, the gate of Issachar, and the gate of Zebulun.
34 서쪽도 사천오백 척이니 또한 문이 셋이라 하나는 갓 문이요 하나는 아셀 문이요 하나는 납달리 문이며
34 On the west side, which is to be 4,500 cubits, three gates,the gate of Gad, the gate of Asher, and the gate of Naphtali.
35 그 사방의 합계는 만 팔천 척이라 그 날 후로는 그 성읍의 이름을 여호와삼마라 하리라
35 The circumference of the city shall be 18,000 cubits. Andthe name of the city from that time on shall be,TheLordIs There.베드로전서

1 아내들아 이와 같이 자기 남편에게 순종하라 이는 혹 말씀을 순종하지 않는 자라도 말로 말미암지 않고 그 아내의 행실로 말미암아 구원을 받게 하려 함이니
1 Likewise, wives,be subject to your own husbands, so thateven if some do not obey the word,they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives,
2 너희의 두려워하며 정결한 행실을 봄이라
2 when they see yourrespectful and pure conduct.
3 너희의 단장은 머리를 꾸미고 금을 차고 아름다운 옷을 입는 외모로 하지 말고
3 Do not let your adorning be external&emdash;the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear&emdash;
4 오직 마음에 숨은 사람을 온유하고 안정한 심령의 썩지 아니할 것으로 하라 이는 하나님 앞에 값진 것이니라
4 but let your adorning bethe hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious.
5 전에 하나님께 소망을 두었던 거룩한 부녀들도 이와 같이 자기 남편에게 순종함으로 자기를 단장하였나니
5 For this is how the holy women who hoped in God used to adorn themselves, by submitting to their own husbands,
6 사라가 아브라함을 주라 칭하여 순종한 것 같이 너희는 선을 행하고 아무 두려운 일에도 놀라지 아니하면 그의 딸이 된 것이니라
6 as Sarah obeyed Abraham,calling him lord. And you are her children, if you do good anddo not fear anything that is frightening.
7 남편들아 이와 같이 지식을 따라 너희 아내와 동거하고 그를 더 연약한 그릇이요 또 생명의 은혜를 함께 이어받을 자로 알아 귀히 여기라 이는 너희 기도가 막히지 아니하게 하려 함이라
7 Likewise,husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weakervessel, since they are heirs with youof the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.
