호세야
2장
10 이제 내가 그 수치를 그 사랑하는 자의 눈 앞에 드러내리니 그를 내 손에서 건져낼 사람이 없으리라
10 NowI will uncover her lewdnessin the sight of her lovers,and no one shall rescue her out of my hand.
11 내가 그의 모든 희락과 절기와 월삭과 안식일과 모든 명절을 폐하겠고
11 And I will put an end to all her mirth,her feasts, hernew moons, herSabbaths,and all herappointed feasts.
12 그가 전에 이르기를 이것은 나를 사랑하는 자들이 내게 준 값이라 하던 그 포도나무와 무화과나무를 거칠게 하여 수풀이 되게 하며 들짐승들에게 먹게 하리라
12 AndI will lay waste her vines and her fig trees,of which she said,These aremy wages,which my lovers have given me.I will make them a forest,and the beasts of the field shall devour them.
13 그가 귀고리와 패물로 장식하고 그가 사랑하는 자를 따라가서 나를 잊어버리고 향을 살라 바알들을 섬긴 시일대로 내가 그에게 벌을 주리라 여호와의 말씀이니라
13 AndI will punish her forthe feast days of the Baalswhen she burned offerings to themandadorned herself with her ring and jewelry,and went after her loversand forgot me, declares theLord.
14 그러므로 보라 내가 그를 타일러 거친 들로 데리고 가서 말로 위로하고
14 Therefore, behold, I will allure her,andbring her into the wilderness,andspeak tenderly to her.
15 거기서 비로소 그의 포도원을 그에게 주고 아골 골짜기로 소망의 문을 삼아 주리니 그가 거기서 응대하기를 어렸을 때와 애굽 땅에서 올라오던 날과 같이 하리라
15 And there I will give her her vineyardsand make the Valley of Achora door of hope.And there she shall answeras in the days of her youth,as at the time when she came out of the land of Egypt.
16 여호와께서 이르시되 그 날에 네가 나를 내 남편이라 일컫고 다시는 내 바알이라 일컫지 아니하리라
16 Andin that day, declares theLord, you will call meMy Husband,and no longer will you call meMy Baal.
17 내가 바알들의 이름을 그의 입에서 제거하여 다시는 그의 이름을 기억하여 부르는 일이 없게 하리라
17 ForI will remove the names of the Baals from her mouth, and they shall be remembered by name no more.
18 그 날에는 내가 그들을 위하여 들짐승과 공중의 새와 땅의 곤충과 더불어 언약을 맺으며 또 이 땅에서 활과 칼을 꺾어 전쟁을 없이하고 그들로 평안히 눕게 하리라
18 AndI will make for them a covenant on that day with the beasts of the field, the birds of the heavens, and the creeping things of the ground. AndI will abolishthe bow, the sword, and war from the land, and I will make you lie down insafety.
19 내가 네게 장가 들어 영원히 살되 공의와 정의와 은총과 긍휼히 여김으로 네게 장가 들며
19 And I will betroth you to meforever.I will betroth you to me in righteousness and in justice, in steadfast love and in mercy.
20 진실함으로 네게 장가 들리니 네가 여호와를 알리라
20 I will betroth you to me in faithfulness. Andyou shall know theLord.
21 여호와께서 이르시되 그 날에 내가 응답하리라 나는 하늘에 응답하고 하늘은 땅에 응답하고
21 Andin that dayI will answer, declares theLord,I will answer the heavens,and they shall answer the earth,
22 땅은 곡식과 포도주와 기름에 응답하고 또 이것들은 이스르엘에 응답하리라
22 and the earth shall answer the grain, the wine, and the oil,and they shall answerJezreel,
23 내가 나를 위하여 그를 이 땅에 심고 긍휼히 여김을 받지 못하였던 자를 긍휼히 여기며 내 백성 아니었던 자에게 향하여 이르기를 너는 내 백성이라 하리니 그들은 이르기를 주는 내 하나님이시라 하리라 하시니라
23 andI will sow her for myself in the land.AndIwill have mercy on No Mercy,andI will say to Not My People,You are my people;and he shall say,You are my God.
3장
1 여호와께서 내게 이르시되 이스라엘 자손이 다른 신을 섬기고 건포도 과자를 즐길지라도 여호와가 그들을 사랑하나니 너는 또 가서 타인의 사랑을 받아 음녀가 된 그 여자를 사랑하라 하시기로
1 And theLordsaid to me,Go again, love a woman who is loved by another man and is an adulteress, even as theLordloves the children of Israel, though they turn to other gods and love cakes of raisins.
2 내가 은 열다섯 개와 보리 한 호멜 반으로 나를 위하여 그를 사고
2 So I bought her for fifteen shekels of silver and ahomer and a lethechof barley.
3 그에게 이르기를 너는 많은 날 동안 나와 함께 지내고 음행하지 말며 다른 남자를 따르지 말라 나도 네게 그리하리라 하였노라
3 And I said to her,You mustdwell as mine for many days. You shall not play the whore, or belong to another man; so will I also be to you.
4 이스라엘 자손들이 많은 날 동안 왕도 없고 지도자도 없고 제사도 없고 주상도 없고 에봇도 없고 드라빔도 없이 지내다가
4 For the children of Israelshall dwell many dayswithout king or prince,without sacrifice orpillar, withoutephod orhousehold gods.
5 그 후에 이스라엘 자손이 돌아와서 그들의 하나님 여호와와 그들의 왕 다윗을 찾고 마지막 날에는 여호와를 경외하므로 여호와와 그의 은총으로 나아가리라
5 Afterwardthe children of Israel shall return andseek theLordtheir God, andDavid their king,and they shall come in fear to theLordand to his goodness in thelatter days.요한일서
5장
13 내가 하나님의 아들의 이름을 믿는 너희에게 이것을 쓰는 것은 너희로 하여금 너희에게 영생이 있음을 알게 하려 함이라
13 I writethese things to you whobelieve in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life.
14 그를 향하여 우리가 가진 바 담대함이 이것이니 그의 뜻대로 무엇을 구하면 들으심이라
14 And this isthe confidence that we have toward him, thatif we ask anything according to his will he hears us.
15 우리가 무엇이든지 구하는 바를 들으시는 줄을 안즉 우리가 그에게 구한 그것을 얻은 줄을 또한 아느니라
15 And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.
16 누구든지 형제가 사망에 이르지 아니하는 죄 범하는 것을 보거든 구하라 그리하면 사망에 이르지 아니하는 범죄자들을 위하여 그에게 생명을 주시리라 사망에 이르는 죄가 있으니 이에 관하여 나는 구하라 하지 않노라
16 If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, andGodwill give him life&emdash;to those who commit sins that do not lead to death.There is sin that leads to death;I do not say that one should pray for that.
17 모든 불의가 죄로되 사망에 이르지 아니하는 죄도 있도다
17 All wrongdoing is sin, but there is sin that does not lead to death.
18 하나님께로부터 난 자는 다 범죄하지 아니하는 줄을 우리가 아노라 하나님께로부터 나신 자가 그를 지키시매 악한 자가 그를 만지지도 못하느니라
18 We know thateveryone who has been born of God does not keep on sinning, buthe who was born of Godprotects him, and the evil one does not touch him.
19 또 아는 것은 우리는 하나님께 속하고 온 세상은 악한 자 안에 처한 것이며
19 We know that we are from God, andthe whole world lies in the power of the evil one.
20 또 아는 것은 하나님의 아들이 이르러 우리에게 지각을 주사 우리로 참된 자를 알게 하신 것과 또한 우리가 참된 자 곧 그의 아들 예수 그리스도 안에 있는 것이니 그는 참 하나님이시요 영생이시라
20 And we know that the Son of God has come andhas given us understanding, so that we may knowhim who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God andeternal life.
21 자녀들아 너희 자신을 지켜 우상에게서 멀리하라
21 Little children,keep yourselves from idols.
