호세야
6장
1 오라 우리가 여호와께로 돌아가자 여호와께서 우리를 찢으셨으나 도로 낫게 하실 것이요 우리를 치셨으나 싸매어 주실 것임이라
1 Come, let usreturn to theLord;forhe has torn us, that he may heal us;he has struck us down, andhe will bind us up.
2 여호와께서 이틀 후에 우리를 살리시며 셋째 날에 우리를 일으키시리니 우리가 그의 앞에서 살리라
2 After two dayshe will revive us;on the third day he will raise us up,that we may live before him.
3 그러므로 우리가 여호와를 알자 힘써 여호와를 알자 그의 나타나심은 새벽 빛 같이 어김없나니 비와 같이, 땅을 적시는 늦은 비와 같이 우리에게 임하시리라 하니라
3 Let us know;let us press on to know theLord;his going out is sure as the dawn;he will come to usas the showers,as the spring rains that water the earth.
4 에브라임아 내가 네게 어떻게 하랴 유다야 내가 네게 어떻게 하랴 너희의 인애가 아침 구름이나 쉬 없어지는 이슬 같도다
4 What shall I do with you,OEphraim?What shall I do with you, OJudah?Your love islike a morning cloud,like the dew that goes early away.
5 그러므로 내가 선지자들로 그들을 치고 내 입의 말로 그들을 죽였노니 내 심판은 빛처럼 나오느니라
5 Therefore I have hewn them by the prophets;I have slain themby the words of my mouth,and my judgment goes forth as the light.
6 나는 인애를 원하고 제사를 원하지 아니하며 번제보다 하나님을 아는 것을 원하노라
6 ForI desire steadfast loveand not sacrifice,the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.
7 그들은 아담처럼 언약을 어기고 거기에서 나를 반역하였느니라
7 Butlike Adam theytransgressed the covenant;there they dealt faithlessly with me.
8 길르앗은 악을 행하는 자의 고을이라 피 발자국으로 가득 찼도다
8 Gilead is a city of evildoers,tracked with blood.
9 강도 떼가 사람을 기다림 같이 제사장의 무리가 세겜 길에서 살인하니 그들이 사악을 행하였느니라
9 As robberslie in wait for a man,so the priests band together;they murder on the way toShechem;they commit villainy.
10 내가 이스라엘 집에서 가증한 일을 보았나니 거기서 에브라임은 음행하였고 이스라엘은 더럽혀졌느니라
10 In the house of Israel I have seen a horrible thing;Ephraim's whoredom is there;Israel is defiled.
11 또한 유다여 내가 내 백성의 사로잡힘을 돌이킬 때에 네게도 추수할 일을 정하였느니라
11 For you also, OJudah,a harvest is appointed,whenI restore the fortunes of my people.
7장
1 내가 이스라엘을 치료하려 할 때에 에브라임의 죄와 사마리아의 악이 드러나도다 그들은 거짓을 행하며 안으로 들어가 도둑질하고 밖으로 떼 지어 노략질하며
1 When I would heal Israel,the iniquity of Ephraim is revealed,and the evil deeds ofSamaria;forthey deal falsely;the thief breaks in,and the bandits raid outside.
2 내가 모든 악을 기억하였음을 그들이 마음에 생각하지 아니하거니와 이제 그들의 행위가 그들을 에워싸고 내 얼굴 앞에 있도다
2 But they do not considerthatI remember all their evil.Nowtheir deeds surround them;they are before my face.
3 그들이 그 악으로 왕을, 그 거짓말로 지도자들을 기쁘게 하도다
3 By their evilthey makethe king glad,and the princes by their treachery.
4 그들은 다 간음하는 자라 과자 만드는 자에 의해 달궈진 화덕과 같도다 그가 반죽을 뭉침으로 발효되기까지만 불 일으키기를 그칠 뿐이니라
4 They are all adulterers;they are like a heated ovenwhose baker ceases to stir the fire,from the kneading of the doughuntil it is leavened.
5 우리 왕의 날에 지도자들은 술의 뜨거움으로 병이 나며 왕은 오만한 자들과 더불어 악수하는도다
5 On the day ofour king, the princesbecame sick with the heat of wine;he stretched out his hand with mockers.
6 그들이 가까이 올 때에 그들의 마음은 간교하여 화덕 같으니 그들의 분노는 밤새도록 자고 아침에 피우는 불꽃 같도다
6 For with hearts like an oventhey approach their intrigue;all night their anger smolders;in the morning it blazes like a flaming fire.
7 그들이 다 화덕 같이 뜨거워져서 그 재판장들을 삼키며 그들의 왕들을 다 엎드러지게 하며 그들 중에는 내게 부르짖는 자가 하나도 없도다
7 All of them are hot as an oven,and they devour their rulers.Alltheir kingshave fallen,and none of them calls upon me.
8 에브라임이 여러 민족 가운데에 혼합되니 그는 곧 뒤집지 않은 전병이로다
8 Ephraimmixes himself with the peoples;Ephraim is a cake not turned.
9 이방인들이 그의 힘을 삼켰으나 알지 못하고 백발이 무성할지라도 알지 못하는도다
9 Strangers devour his strength,andhe knows it not;gray hairs are sprinkled upon him,andhe knows it not.
10 이스라엘의 교만은 그 얼굴에 드러났나니 그들이 이 모든 일을 당하여도 그들의 하나님 여호와께로 돌아오지 아니하며 구하지 아니하도다
10 The pride of Israel testifies to his face;yet they do not return to theLordtheir God,nor seek him, for all this.
11 에브라임은 어리석은 비둘기 같이 지혜가 없어서 애굽을 향하여 부르짖으며 앗수르로 가는도다
11 Ephraim is like a dove,silly and without sense,calling toEgypt, going toAssyria.
12 그들이 갈 때에 내가 나의 그물을 그 위에 쳐서 공중의 새처럼 떨어뜨리고 전에 그 회중에 들려 준 대로 그들을 징계하리라
12 As they go,I will spread over them my net;I will bring them down like birds of the heavens;I will discipline themaccording to the report made to their congregation.
13 화 있을진저 그들이 나를 떠나 그릇 갔음이니라 패망할진저 그들이 내게 범죄하였음이니라 내가 그들을 건져 주려 하나 그들이 나를 거슬러 거짓을 말하고
13 Woe to them, for they have strayed from me!Destruction to them, for they have rebelled against me!I would redeem them,butthey speak lies against me.
14 성심으로 나를 부르지 아니하였으며 오직 침상에서 슬피 부르짖으며 곡식과 새 포도주로 말미암아 모이며 나를 거역하는도다
14 They do not cry to me from the heart,butthey wail upon their beds;for grain and wine they gash themselves;they rebel against me.
15 내가 그들 팔을 연습시켜 힘 있게 하였으나 그들은 내게 대하여 악을 꾀하는도다
15 AlthoughI trained and strengthened their arms,yet they devise evil against me.
16 그들은 돌아오나 높으신 자에게로 돌아오지 아니하니 속이는 활과 같으며 그들의 지도자들은 그 혀의 거친 말로 말미암아 칼에 엎드러지리니 이것이 애굽 땅에서 조롱거리가 되리라
16 Theyreturn, but not upward;they arelike a treacherous bow;their princes shall fall by the swordbecause ofthe insolence of their tongue.This shall be their derisionin the land of Egypt.요한삼서
1장
1 장로인 나는 사랑하는 가이오 곧 내가 참으로 사랑하는 자에게 편지하노라
1 The elder to the beloved Gaius,whom I love in truth.
2 사랑하는 자여 네 영혼이 잘됨 같이 네가 범사에 잘되고 강건하기를 내가 간구하노라
2 Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.
3 형제들이 와서 네게 있는 진리를 증언하되 네가 진리 안에서 행한다 하니 내가 심히 기뻐하노라
3 ForI rejoiced greatly when the brotherscame and testified to your truth, as indeed you are walking in the truth.
4 내가 내 자녀들이 진리 안에서 행한다 함을 듣는 것보다 더 기쁜 일이 없도다
4 I have no greater joy than to hear thatmy children are walking in the truth.
5 사랑하는 자여 네가 무엇이든지 형제 곧 나그네 된 자들에게 행하는 것은 신실한 일이니
5 Beloved, it is a faithful thing you do in all your efforts forthese brothers,strangers as they are,
6 그들이 교회 앞에서 너의 사랑을 증언하였느니라 네가 하나님께 합당하게 그들을 전송하면 좋으리로다
6 who testified to your love before the church. You will do well to send them on their journey in a mannerworthy of God.
7 이는 그들이 주의 이름을 위하여 나가서 이방인에게 아무 것도 받지 아니함이라
7 For they have gone out for the sake ofthe name,accepting nothing from the Gentiles.
8 그러므로 우리가 이같은 자들을 영접하는 것이 마땅하니 이는 우리로 진리를 위하여 함께 일하는 자가 되게 하려 함이라
8 Therefore we ought to support people like these, that we may be fellow workers for the truth.
